Life as a Sonic OC Redux

*Twilight's POV*

While Danyelle and Leopardstar were out of town dealing with another clan, I noticed something off about Nashi.

Nashi spoke "Itchy...!"

Spike spoke "Sounds like molt effect to me, I went through it too."

But then Nashi's stomach gurgled.

I spoke "Uh-oh, here come the solar burps..."

Kasumi spoke "*Shows up* Hey everyone! How's it going?"

A sudden solar burp had sent Kasumi crashing into a wall.

Kasumi spoke "*Grunt* We're okay."

Spike spoke "Sorry about that Kasumi, my niece has the molt."

Kasumi spoke "No harm done."

Spike and Nashi were still surprised about me being in my Deep Lilac form.

Spike asks "But seriously, you, Flash and the rest of his herd are gonna be like that until the babies are born?"

"Yes." I nodded.

Rainbow spoke "Least my husband chose to stay loyal to one mare."

Soarin asks "*Gives Rainbow Dash a noogie* And what is that supposed to mean, Crash?"

Rainbow spoke "Watch the horn Clipper!"

Soarin chuckles "*Teasingly* Oh? You mean like this?"

Soarin brushed a wing against Rainbow Dash's horn, making her bite her lower lip a bit with a blush.

I spoke "Not a good time Rainbow."

Rainbow asks "Whaddya think I’m tryin’ to do? Lose it?"

Zoey giggles "Something tells me that Shining Armor just got called Shinybutt!"

That made me cover my mouth, trying to hold in my laughter.

Akari spoke "Uncle Shinybutt!"

Kasumi spoke "Heehee! I bet Shiny and Cady are likely at the Chuddle Hotel if he was called that."

Holding Flurry in her arms, Zoey spoke "But that would leave the Crystal Empire unprotected."

Nashi spoke "GAH! Itchy!"

A few of Nashi’s scales started looking red.

Spike spoke "Stonescale can be rather irritating and uncomfortable, especially for dragons. Not so much for dragon hybrids like Erza."

Nashi asks "*Softly* Are you kidding me?"

Spike spoke "It starts with just one stonescale, then there's a lot more. Followed by uncontrolled fire burps... solar burps in your case Nashi... Then sudden voice shifts... And don't get me started on the smell."

Nashi asks"*Loudly* SMELL? WHAT SMELL?"

Lucy spoke "*sniffing the air* Ick, what is that smell? It smells like rotten eggs mixed with sour milk..."

*Ghrk!* She’s right about that.

Kasumi spoke "*Clothespin on her nose* A deadly stench, I’ll admit that much."

Zoey spoke "Good thing Danyelle and my grandfather aren't here, both of them would pass out from the smell."

Blackstar yowls "Yuck! That smells worse than crowfood!!"

Kasumi spoke "Don’t think perfume, mint or water will wash that scent off."

I spoke "It just has to run its course."

Kasumi asks "Did no one mention the smell also just screams dragon buffet to Rocs?"

Spike spoke "You forgot hydras and tatzlwurms."

Kasumi spoke "Yeah, but-*Notices something up above* Giant Roc bird."

“Huh?” The rest of us asked in confusion.

Kasumi spoke "*Points up* Giant Roc bird!"

A loud screech was heard.

A loud roar soon followed.

Igneel roars "GET YOUR DAMN TALONS OFF MY GRANDDAUGHTER!!"

Igneel attacks the roc.

Nashi spoke "*Starry-eyed* Grandpa is so cool!"

Spike spoke "Molt effect or no, we're sticking together as a clan."

The roc was soon killed, thus giving the clan cats something to eat.

Kasumi asks "Need me to help prepare it for the cats?"

Firestar spoke "No offence miss but we clan cats eat food raw."

Kasumi: *Shrug* That's okay. But do you really want a mouth full of feathers with the meat?

Firestar spoke "We don't mind at all."

Kasumi spoke "Really? It doesn't bother you at all? It didn't cross your mind to let someone who can cook help you guys learn? Just asking as a friend here."

Blackstar spoke "We never needed to cook our food before."

Zoey spoke "Blackstar was it? I don't think Ichigo mentioned it before now but eating food raw can lead to salmonella poisoning... And I don't think your medicine cats know the cure for it."

Kasumi spoke "Mom did say food-borne illnesses are not to be laughed at."

Firestar spoke "*ears flatten* Blackcough's no joke either..."

Blackstar spoke "*Bead of sweat* Um... Right."

CInderpelt was carrying Brightclaw and Hazelrunner on her back as she walked past while using her crutches.

Firestar spoke "What the? Cinderpelt, I thought I told you that having kits was against the medicine cat code!"

Ichigo spoke "That's not the Cinderpelt you know Firestar!"

Firestar asks "*Confusion* Huh?"

Cinderpelt spoke "I'm from a timeline that used to be engulfed in eternal night."

Firestar asks "Wait a minute, has anyone seen our Cinderpelt before heading here?"

Various ThunderClan cats shook their head no.

Sandstorm spoke "I could say the same about our timeline's Graystripe."

Blackstar asks "Wait... Do you think they saw our discussion and decided to stay behind?"

Onestar spoke "Either that or they were captured by some other twoleg."

Firestar spoke "I just hope our Kenshi finds them and gains their trust."

Graystripe was chasing Silverstream about the school.

Firestar asks "So that isn't our Graystripe?"

Cinderpelt spoke "I don't think so but I don't know what timeline he's from."

Nashi yelped as she suddenly had more stone scales.

Thunderstar crashes into a wall since he had gotten launched by Clear Sky.

Thunderstar growls "NOT COOL DAD!"

"Um... What's going on?" I asked.

Zecora spoke "*Arrives* Is something the matter? You seem to have a lot on your platter."

I spoke "Aside from Clear Sky being an idiot, Nashi has stonescale... Or rather, the molt effect."

Zecora spoke "That explains the smell. Even though it's not that well."

I spoke "Blackstar compared the smell to crowfood though, that's just how bad it is. Uncontrollable volume shifts, unexpected solar burps and stonescale that's itchier than a cat with fleas."

Firestar spoke "Don't mention fleas, please."

I spoke "Sorry but I had to mention it. Oh, Igneel killed a roc."

That left Zecora surprised as Flash showed up.

"Hey, Twily." Flash smiled.

Igneel spoke "I wasn't going to let it hurt my family though."

Spike spoke "Thanks, dad."

Igneel chuckles "No problem Spike."

Then Igneel's mate arrived with a giggle.

Lucy was thinking about her mom.

Nashi spoke "Make it stop.... Please...."

Lucy spoke "That's the thing, sweetie. I don't know how to do that."

Wendy spoke "The only way to make it stop is to let it take its course."

Smolder spoke "Mine was just as bad. But it's all part of growing up as a dragon."

Spyro and Cynder showed up.

Spyro asks "What's going on-Ghrk! *Covers muzzle* The molt?"

Spike spoke "Afraid so bro but Nashi's is worse than what mine was."

Cynder spoke "*Covering muzzle too* No kidding."

A 13 year old shiny Mew screams "I'M GONNA KILL THAT EIN!!!"

To my surprise, the Mew sounded exactly like Bluestar.

Gallus asks "Um... Bluey? You okay?"

The shiny Mew asks "What do you think fishface?"

Gallus asks "Don't you think you can transform?"

Bluestar spoke "...Actually, I never tried that."

Bluestar focused before she somehow found herself back in her normal form.

I spoke "But if something causes Bluestar to lose focus, she'll revert back to Mew form."

Moeka spoke "Zane did mention that the vial of Danyelle's blood was missing this morning and now, I can see what happened. Ein turned it into a splash potion and used it on Bluestar."

Zane groans "*Facepalm* Oh, that blathering boob!"

Moeka spoke "And to make matters worse, I'm stuck as a Mewtwo..."

Zane spoke "M-Moeka, you’re great no matter what you are!"

Zoey kicks Zane in the ass, sending him flying at Moeka thus causing the two to kiss.

“Again, Zoey?” I giggled.

Zoey giggles "Blame it on my cutie mark."

“Well if you’re so certain, why not look after the Crystal Empire with Dren while Cadence and Shining Armor are away.” I teased.

Zoey spoke "But I'm not related to Cadence."

“I was joking.” I explained.

Nashi was soon encased in stone.

Spike spoke "Shouldn’t take long now."

The sound of cracking stone was soon heard.

Spike spoke "That was quick."

I spoke "Least the smell's not so bad now."

Spyro spoke "Um, everyone might wanna back away."

Igneel asks "Why son?"

Cynder spoke "Oh, right. There might be a big boom when Nashi breaks out."

I snicker "And possibly a screaming idiot."

All of us backed away from Nashi before the statue started cracking more and more.

Being the idiot he is, Ein got a little too close.

*BOOM!* Ein was sent flying with his signature scream as the explosion left behind a small crater with a small dust cloud at the center.

I laugh "He SO had that one coming!"

Nashi groans "Ugh… What happened?"

Firestar spoke "Looks like someone just got her wings!"

Nashi asks "Wait, what?"

Blackstar and Onestar roll a mirror over to Nashi, revealing a dragon kid with newly obtained wings.

Zecora spoke "I know that the molt produced surprising things. But I'm glad that the last was a new pair of wings!"

Nashi gasps "*Excited* I… I can fly?!"

Lucy spoke "I'm so proud of you Nashi."

To Nashi's surprise, Lucy was still in lamia form due to the eggs.

Nashi asks "Mama?"

Lucy spoke "*Giggle* To think I’d be like this again on the year of the snake."

I giggle "You're not the only one Lucy. You can come out now Zecora."

Zecora fully came out, revealing her half-snake form.

I ask "Did the idiot cause that?"

Zecora spoke "In some point in the past, yes. And I’m certain you have a good guess."

Blackstar spoke "The idiot already got blasted off."

“He deserved that much.” I snickered.

Lucy spoke "Due to my lamia body, I'm pretty much grounded until I lay these eggs."
