Jack shade is a 22 year old young adult from a small town in Washington. He lived happily with his parents and his little sister. But then tragedy struck him at the age of 20, a fire swept through the families house killing both jacks parents but jack who was on his way home from work and anima who was jacks little sister was with him after being picked up by jack.

After a year of taking care of anima and himself jack decided to do something to make his and his sisters life better.

After a month of serching throughout lores and mysterys and fanfic theories to find something/someone to take them both to a better life.

When jack found out about a mysterious being called the merchant. From the fanfics on fimfiction the guy is always present at a MLP convention. Jack quickly found out when the next convention was and where it was going to take place.

His goel is to find the merchant and get to Equestria before something kills him leaving his sister alone and heart broken.

Soon enough unknown to him he would become the king of Shadows .
