Chapter I - finding the merchant/arriving in a new world
I walk into the convention with my sister dressed as a anthro filly version of nightmare moon while I was dressed as a anthro version of the pony of shadows. I and my sister wonder through the stalls selling merchandise looking for the guy simply known as the 'merchant'. It took 2 and a 1/2 hours to find his stand, his stand was in a corner well out of the way and really hidden unless you're looking for it.
I walk up to the stand with anima holding my left hand while I fish out a wad of $100 bills that Totaled $3,800. I look straight at the merchant and said "I wan't whatever 38 hundred dollars will go far plus an extra of 32 grand if you make us our characters that we are dressed as and give us the abilities of a few beings." I hesitate for a moment. "I also want us to be able to keep our memorys intact and I want us to arrive at the same location at the same time as to not be separated." I told him.
I saw him pause before nodding. ” I can do that. What kind of powers do you want? I'll let you choose 3 powers. I will also throw in immortality so you can both live forever as a bonus." The 'merchant' told me I nod before thinking of my powers. After 7 minutes I decided on my powers. "I would like the powers of Minecraft creative mode, an Arma 3 Zeus, and chaos magic. For my sister I would like her to be able to talk to animals, to be able to control nature, and use all types of magic but chaos magic. I also want there to be no negative effects for her when she uses magic. Same for me." I stated.
He nodded and went through his items. When he finished he had a model tank, a Warhammer chaos star, and a Minecraft 3D grass block. He had Infront of my sister a amulet with a wolf symbol on it, a orb made up of all color's, and a miniature version of the female nature titan from God of war Infront of her. "Now all you have to do is touch each item and step back. Then you will black out and awaken in a new world." Said the 'merchant' who was counting the money. I take out another wad this time it was $1,300 worth of money.
"I would also like books on a few things. I would like a book on blacksmithing, a book on warfare, and a book on all the creatures of the world I'm going to." I told him. He nodded grabbing some books off the shelf behind him. "Tell me, what are you going to do once you get there?" I look at him before saying that I was just going to open a shop or inn or restaurant in Equestria and make some bits while also relaxing and taking life easy.
I touched all the items I requested while holding the books I requested. I take out a wad of 32 grand and give it to the merchant. "I won't be needing this anymore. You could probably use it better then I can for where I'm going." I told him. The last thing I saw was the 'merchant' smiling before everything went black.
When I woke up I noticed I was in a forest clearing. I look around and noted that we were most likely in the everfree forest. I noticed a small pond in the clearing and decided to see what I looked like. I walk over to the pond and look in. I immediately recoil in shock. I looked like a cross between the pony of shadows and King Sombra!
I had the body and looks of the pony of shadows but my eyes were green instead of white with purple smoke coming out of my eyes. I also had a sort of red tinge for my horn and wings. That were still black but thay just had a sort of soft red color mixed in.
I turn around and looked for my sister. I found her laying on the ground and only just now waking up. She looked like filly from that one MLP fanfic. What was her name again? Oh right! Nix! She looked like nix.
"B-Big brother? Where are we?" She asked as she looked around at the forest surrounding us. I walk up to her and nuzzle her head. "It's alright sis. We're just in the everfree forest. We will be out of here in a moment, I just need to find us a place to stay. Tell you what I'll give you a strategy game to keep occupied while I search for a new home for us. Ok?" I ask her. She nodded and I summoned some blue gummy ants for her to play with and control while also summoning 2 other gummy ant colonies. One red the other yellow.
I made sure to also summon a shield dome to protect her from the weather and from anyone attacking her. I made the shield a level 12 defense spell and even made it to where only I can despell it. I look then searched through the books that I had in a saddle bag that was laying on the ground. Apparently though it was a bag of unlimited holding. So I looked through it and found that it contained some bits, the books I bought, and a few other things.
I decided to look through the book on magic I bought and flipped through the pages till I found the spell I was looking for. The spell in question is a spell called shadow sight and it will allow me to look through shadows as if I was in that location. I open up the book and begin reading, after about 1 hour and 20 minutes I figured out how to use it. I begin my search for a home while my sister plays with her ants.
Hopefully I can find a place that we could go to without having to worry about my sister's safety.

Hello everyone. It's me shadow rider. I am here to ask for your help with what direction I should push this story in.
No idea is a bad idea. In fact I emplore you to give me ideas for story's I can wright. However I do have RULES.
Those rules are simple. One, nothing to dark. Like rape, extreme torture, ect. Two, it has to contain a OC that has a description of what he/she/it looks like. And three that beings powers must be explained to me. Like what kind of magic can he do? What kind of powers he has? Those kinds of things.
Anyways I hope you all enjoyed this first chapter of "The King Of Shadows" and I hope you have a very pleasant day
