I laid softly and felt a bite on my ear.

Me:”owww!” I hollared as I woke up.

Hitch placed his hoof over my mouth as I tried to mumble I felt him lick my ears where he bit and removed his hoof, I gasped and breathed hard.

Me: “h-hitch!?”

Hitch: “shhh… “

I was already blushing hard, I then remembered last night.

Me: “why are you next to me, hmph I thought you didn’t want me to be around your life.” I said my ears falling back in anger as I started scooting away.

Hitch: “I really am sorry ok?” He sighed. “It’s just hard to talk to any pony about how I feel, everything just piled on yesterday between zipp, the show, sparky….and you I just had to let it all out, I’m sorry.”

He started to get up and I turned to face him putting my hoof on his chest.

Me: “stay…..”

He laid back down and relaxed.

Me: “hitch?”

Hitch: “hm?”

Me: “sparky loves you, your his dragon dad, he may love visiting Izzy and all the others but where you are is always where home will be, he’s always gonna need his dragon dad.”

Hitch smiled wide and sniffled.

Hitch: “Ofcourse, your right.”

Me: “soooo why were you so upset with me?”
I said in a shy tone.

He looked over puzzled.

Hitch: “I wasn’t up set with you… as much as well zipp, I love her she’s my best friend but she was well …. You know.”

Me: “I know what?” I said curiously.

Hitch: “you know….she was checking you out… I guess I sorta got a little miffed by that.”

Me: “oh really? Why’s that?”

Hitch: “oh come on you know why, isn’t it obvious now?”

Me: “oooooo somepony has a crush!” I said smirking.

Hitch: “oh please, don’t act so cocky and innocent…. I saw you glimpsing at me and it wasn’t just the face either.”

I blushed thinking back to all the times I glanced at his sack.

Me: “yeah well don’t mind me, I’m just not used to being around non kin males….”

Hitch: “what do you mean?”

Me: “well …. I don’t know if I should tell you it’s personal..”

Hitch: “Aw common, try me.”

Me: “I couldn’t… you’d think I’m.. I’m a fool.”

Hitch: “y/n, don’t worry, I know what happened with the queen but…. I now know… that’s not who you are.”

He placed his hoof on mine as he leaned over.

Me: “that’s not what I was referring to but yes your right.”

I looked down and away.

Me: “you know sometimes it’s the best ponies who make the poorest of choices…. not realizing what they were actually doing before it was too late….or thinking of anything or any pony else before they made them.”

I sat up and looked out the sheriff department window to the still early morning dark sky.

Me: “ In life, your going to make a lot of choices, some are going to be good and some are going to be bad but what really matters in the end is the good ones, only now do I see it.”
I smiled at him.

He smiled back warmly.

Hitch: “You know what?”

Me: “what?”

Hitch: “I don’t think I’ve ever met a pony quite like you ms y/n.”

Me: “yeah?”

Hitch: “I’m glad your here, ahem with us and well… with me, It's not about what you've done
It's about what you doing you know,
It's all about where you going,
No matter where you've been.”
“y/n I really like you and I want to try being your stallion friend.”
He blushed wild.

Me: “Well I guess I like you too.”

He frowned as I smiled.

Me: “I’m kidding I’m kidding, I really like you too and I’d be glad to be your mare friend.”

We both smiled and blushed at each other giving a little nuzzle before returning back to our previous positions.

Hitch: “what were you going to say to me earlier ?”

Me: “oh .. no I don’t want to ruin the moment and all.”

Hitch: “please?”

Me: “I’m not sure………….oh fine….ok … I haven’t ever told anypony this but Ive never had a stallion-friend besides my kin before, I’m not experienced being around one or dating one and when I was a teen mare I did something a bit dumb … well alot dumb now that I look back.”

Hitch leaned in.

Hitch: “drugs?”

Me: “um no.”

Hitch: “smoke?”

Me: “no”

Hitch: “skip sc-“

I put my hood over his mouth.

Me: “no- just listen.”

I sighed and breathed deeply.

“A lot of the ponies at school would bully me…. No pony wanted to be my friend or anything and I felt I had no one besides my family but you know how young ponies are we want friends and stuff so we don’t much think about our family as friends.” “I never found a stallion to date or friends, so I met up with this stallion that I met on ponygram, point is I didn’t know a thing about him or about dating but he seemed nice and I was young and gullible so I met up with him somewhere where no pony was, we started talking and next thing I knew…..”

I started to choke up trying to hold myself back from tears.

Hitch sat up and looked at me with a sad and shocked face.

Hitch: “did - did he rape-.”

Me: “yeah ……. You don’t have to continue, he had his way with me… It was horrible and scary, I didn’t know what was happening but it all hurt and was terrible, luckily I escaped and made it home.”

I couldn’t look over at hitch… telling him all of this… hurt me, made me look foolish like an ignorant foal.

I felt arms wrap around me and hitches face nuzzle me deep.

Hitch: “oh y/n …. I didn’t realize I’m so sorry.”

Me: “it’s ok, I learned my lesson.”

I buzzed hitch and he nuzzled me as we both laid back down.

Hitch: “ you don’t have to worry anymore I’m here.”

I smiled wide hearing that as we cuddled and eventually we both fell back asleep coiled together until the sun rose.
