The End of Sombra's lineage

Nine months later...

As Link began draining the fluid that Twilight was submerged in, she began to scream in AGONY. Looking at her closely revealed that her stomach was swollen. Link wasted no time getting her out and on a stretcher. Using ultrasound, Brandon discovered that the cord was around the colt's neck. They explained the situation to Twilight and she understood what had to be done. She would need a caesarean done to get the baby out before they could give the sedatives. Colin stayed with Twilight to keep her calm until Brandon and Link had put on their scrubs, gloves, masks, and hairnets. After wheeling Twilight into the operating room, she was given a sedative to put her to sleep. She was then intubated to keep her alive during the procedure. Twilight's fur was clipped down to bare skin and then disinfectant was applied to her belly to get rid of germs.

"Scalpel.", said Brandon.

Link picked up the surgical knife from the table and handed it to him. Brandon carefully made the initial incision and Link used gauze to soak up blood. Once Brandon had cut into the uterus, he reached the amniotic sac.

"Surgical scissors.", he said.

Link took the scalpel and placed it in a tray filled with disinfectant after handing the scissors to Brandon. After Brandon had cut the amniotic sac enough, he started pulling the colt out and Link helped him move the newborn to a separate gurney for cleaning. After everything was rinsed to avoid infection, Brandon started putting Twilight's organs back and then tightly sutured all of the layers.
