Luna's New Found FoalHood

Luna woke up the next day to see Celestia in her room she started babbling and reaching out for her big sister Celestia saw this and picked her ‘baby’ sister up smiling while Luna let out a squeal of joy all the while Celestia sighed happy that Luna was now happy “Hey Luna i take it you slept well last night” Celestia asked her sister receiving some babbling in return this made her giggle

while she changed Luna after she did that took the foal to the dining room and sat her in her high chair putting a bib on around her neck Celestia had the cooks bring something for herself and Luna while the foal sat there happy as she had even been the cooks brought out some pancakes for Celestia and some foal food for Luna who was reaching for the pancakes Celestia giggled

moving her plate from the foal’s reach “No no Luna you're too young for that” she said while getting a spoonful of the foal food moving to to Luna’s mouth who gladly accepted the food Celestia kept feeding Luna while eating her food at the same time until Luna made a face Celestia was not ready for what happened next Luna started crying as the smell hit her

“Oh my goodness Luna lets get you changed” Celestia said while levitating her little sister back to the nursery to change her diaper Luna just sat their gurgling like a foal would Celestia giggled again as she put Luna on the changing table and took off her messy diaper cleaning her nether regions Celestia also decided just to give Luna a bottle she sat down with Luna on her lap

And put a bottle in Luna’s mouth after a second Luna spit the bottle out Celestia placed the bottle back in Luna’s mouth once again she spit it out this gave Celestia a little hope that the Luna she grew up with was still in there somewhere but she also she knew that Luna had to have her bottle “Now Luna you need your bottle you are much too young for real food now drink up like a good foal” Celestia said as she placed the bottle in Luna’s mouth after a intense few second Luna began to suckle making Celestia sigh from relief

“Good girl, Luna.” Said Celestia once Luna had finished about a half of the bottle. “We don’t want to get a stomachache now though, do we?” Celestia then put the bottle down,and turned Luna over to burp her. “Wow that was a loud one!.” Giggled Celestia as Luna belched loudly and spit up a little, Celestia then wiped it off and started to rock Luna a little bit. “You’re so cute like this.” Cooed Celestia as Luna giggled and wiggled her hooves around a bit.

“Your Majesty the preparations are done. The whole castle had been made foal-proof just as you asked.” Said one of the servants.

“Good, thank you for telling me, you may go now.” Replied Celestia turning her attention back to Luna.Who was chewing Celestia’s hoof while Celestia just giggled and let her she then started tickling Luna’s belly making the foal laugh while waving her little hooves around

“I’m gonna get you.” Laughed Celestia as she contined tickling until she got bored of it, and decided to play another game. “Hey Luna, where big sister?” Said Celestia covering her eyes with her hooves. “Here i am.” She continued as she removed her hooved, this caused Luna to giggle and clap a little.Celestia smiled at how happy her little sister was and hoped she would stay this happy. This will have been for nothing if she doesn’t.Celestia then got the idea to take Luna to the gardens so she could play for a little while with that she took the still giggling foal to the gardens

Celestia had reached her destination with Luna intact she placed the foal on the ground so if she was able to she could crawl around

“ This is the gardens, see lots of pretty flowers.” Said Celestia as Luna started to crawl towards a rose bush.which made Celestia happy but she could not let her go there “No, no Luna, the roses will make ouchies.” At this Luna began to cry, so Celestia picked one of the roses,and removed the thorns, so Luna couldn’t get hurt. “Aww there sweetie don’t cry, see i have one for you.” Celestia said as she gave Luna the rose witch she started to chew on the sight of it made Celestia laugh which reminded her that she needed to get Luna her vaccinations the whole time Luna was playing Celestia sat there and watched her crawling around knowing that when she was done that she would need a bath

“This will be fun.” Sighed Celestia a little amused as she remembered how Luna was when their mother had tried to give them baths.She then remember how fussy Luna got during a bath “I’ll have to find something she can play with.” Said Celestia as Luna crawled into one of the puddles from the fountain and began to splash.”If that was not so strange then i could almost count that as her bath” Celestia said as she watched Luna splash a royal guard that came near her

“Sorry, Sir guard.” apologized Celestia as the guard magiced the water out of his coat.While he glared at Luna

‘“Is that who i think it is?” The guard asked still glaring at Luna while she stared at him

“Yes, i was going to make an announcement to the staff and everypony else i want you to keep this secret” Celestia in a matter of facility

“Understood, Princess, i don’t really understand yet,but there’s got to be a just cause.” Replied the guard while Celestia took a deep breath

“Well you see Luna still felt guilty over Nightmare Moon and wanted to be reborn so to speak i went in the ancient archives and found a scroll with a spell to help her do so and now she is the happy foal we see playing” Celestia explained

“Well i’m glad that she’ll get that second chance.” Replied The guard saluting Celestia and patting Luna a little before he return to his rounds.Luna puffed her cheeks out trying to look tough in front of the guard

“Aww isn’t that cute, she thinks she’s a little toughie.” Laughed the Guard while ruffling Luna’s mane while she puffed her cheeks out even more that made Celestia and the guard laugh

“Hey privet how about you take the day off” Celestia suggested to the guard who was in shock at the words coming from her mouth

“Well if you’re sure Princess.” Said The guard waiting for Celestia’s answer.

“I am your princess am i not?” Celestia asked him

“Yes, and thank you.” Replied the guard. “Bye bye cutie.” He added before he left to go to the barrack and collect his gear

“Wait your Private Light Shield am i correct?” Celestia asked the guard

“Yes, Princess.” Replied the guard returning to Celestia

“I have heard about you and i also heard that you fought a whole dragon fleet on your own that is impressive if i do say so myself” Celestia said patting the extra space on the bench she was sitting on “Please take a seat”

“Oh, okay.” Replied Light Shield a little nervously as she sat down next to the Princess. “By the way Princess, that story is really over exaggerated.”

“Well either way that is impressive taking on full grown dragons and coming out with barley a scratch on yourself” Celestia said as Luna was trying to eat the rose she had given her

“ I got lucky is all.” Said Light not trying to sound conceited

“Well Shield i want you to give this to your captain it is a note directly from me telling him to make you a sergeant because i know better than that it was all skill” Celestia said while giving him a note

“Thank you princess thank you so much” Light Shield said smiling taking his leave of the princess

“Now Luna i think there is a dirty foal who needs a bath” Celestia said grabbing Luna in her magic before she could crawl away

“WAHHHHHH.” Wailed Luna as she kicked and flailed her hooves around as Celestia tried to lower her into the bathtub.

“Luna, please work with me here.” Celestia said as she got splashed in the face as Luna’s lower half was placed in the water, Luna just continued to flail around and cry.

“How did Mother do it?” Sighed Celestia as she pulled at her mane in frustration. “Looky it’s a quack quack.” Said Celestia trying to get Luna’s attention by squeaking a rubber duck in front of her. It didn’t work and Luna just cried louder as the duck was annoying her.

“What do i do?” Asked Celestia to herself as the floor around the bath began to become soaked and slippery.

“Umm, Princess can i help?” Asked the servant from earlier.

“Yes,please. Just don’t call her by name, i’m not ready for everyone to know just yet.” Replied Celestia as the servant walked to the side of the tub facing Luna.

“ Somepony sure doesn’t like this huh?” Asked the servant as she began to make funny faces at Luna to keep her attention as Celestia washed her.

“How did you do that?” Asked Celestia as she dried Luna off.

“I had lots of sibling.” She replied.

“Well thank you Miss...” Celestia said before she realized that she didn’t know this servant’s name.

“Just call me Crystal Bell.” Replied Crystal bowing before Celestia.

“Well Miss Crystal Bell, how would you like to help me take care of Luna when i cannot, you know be her attendant?” Asked Celestia as she watched Crystal’s eyes bug out.

“I’d be honored.” Said Crystal bowing again.

“Okay, but you must know that you must be completely loyal to Luna in every way, even be willing to put yourself in harm’s way to make sure that none befalls Luna, can you do this?”

“I’ll protect her with my life.” Vowed Crystal as Celestia picked Luna up.

“Well then you’ve got the job, but just so we’re clear this is only going to be when i’m too busy to spend time with her, as i want to be with her as much as i can.” Explained Celestia as she dismissed her.

“Understood Princess.” Replied Crystal going back to what she was doing before.

“Well i guess it is time to make the announcement about little Luna now” Celestia said to herself

After the announcement was made and everypony understood why Celestia took Luna into her office and placed her in a playpen so she could play with some toys

“Be a good girl,and play with your toys, big sister has to get some paperwork done,okay.” Said Celestia getting babble back as an answer as Luna began to stack her blocks. “Good girl.” Sighed Celestia as she walked over to her desk, and started on the paperwork.Hoping that Luna would start talking soon enough

Not long after Celestia had a nice sized stack of papers signed, and decided it was time to check on Luna. Looking into the playpen Celestia noticed that Luna had fallen asleep, but had also wet her diaper, and so she picked her up and changed her, this woke Luna up, and she began to cry making sucking motions with her lips.

“ Somepony’s hungry.” Laughed Celestia.

“thewey” Luna babbled out

“Hey, you talked a little or i hope at least.” Said Celestia smiling as she began to take Luna to the kitchens to get her the bottle from earlier.

“ I foresee a beautiful Princess, who doesn’t have a care in the world ruling next to her big sister someday.” Smiled Celestia as she put the nipple to Luna’s lips and Luna began to suckle.

“Unfortunately, that will be many years from now, By your leave Princess.” Bowed Crystal having noticed Celestia feeding Luna and not being busy joined them.

“I really miss her.” Said Celestia sadly as Crystal stood beside her.

“You and her did what you knew in your heart was best.” Replied Crystal as Celestia looked at her quizzically “How old are you?” Asked Celestia seeing before her a young mare, but with knowledge beyond her years.

“I’m about the same age as Twilight Sparkle.” Replied Crystal remembering seeing the mare walk around the castle when she had first started serving under Celestia as a maid apprentice

“You’re quite wise for such a young age.” Smiled Celestia taking the bottle and putting it in the sink,then burping Luna.

“When you're the oldest of five children,you learn to grow up fast and learn as much as you can. I learned to follow what my heart tells me,and so far it’s never led me wrong.”Crystal said

“Well that is a good thing” Celestia said while carrying the now sleeping Luna into her nursery laying her down

“Thank you princess.” Whispered Crystal as to not wake Luna.

“No need to thank me for what is the truth, now go see what needs to be done around the castle i have to prepare for bed.” Celestia replied watching the servant leave to meet up with some of the night crew.
