I scoured the entirety of Ponyville, and I couldn’t find a good place to build. However, when I searched on the far outskirts, I found a decent spot that seemed like a good place to build.

I had all the experts I needed examine the property and they said it was okay, probably a few caves underground, but still a decent spot. I had them start working immediately.

After a few hours they managed to dig a few feet down, however, that was where everything went very, very wrong.

As soon as one pony hit a spot in the dirt with their shovel, the ground became unstable and began shaking. “Is that an earthquake?” Said one of the ponies, but they realized they were wrong as the pony who had hit the ground suddenly fell through the ground screaming as he fell into a dark abyss.

“Buck it's a sinkhole everypony run!” Shouted one of the workers before the others started to take off running.

“Shit!” I groaned as I started running, picking up as many ponies as I could with my magic, but some were out of my reach and the unlucky one fell into the dark abyss that was forming on the outskirts of town.

Luckily Pinkie was there to help any ponies who I couldn’t get, thank goodness for her Pinkie sense. Eventually the sinkhole stopped growing, then it began filling up with water. I gazed down at the abyss, staring as the water continued to rise.

“Wha-what is this, how did this happen!?” Yelled one of the workers in a panic.

I watched as the sinkhole filled up to the brim. I smirked. “Doesn’t matter, since this land is my property, that makes this sinkhole mine too, I’m going to enjoy this,” I said. A few minutes later the pony that fell earlier surfaced and began swimming to shore. “Oh good, you’re alive,” I said, unphased. I turned to the other ponies. “Take the injured to the hospital, and somepony notify the Princesses!” I exclaimed.

“Y-yes sir!” Said the ponies before they ran off to do as I asked.

I nodded before looking back at the new “lake” that had appeared.

After a couple days had passed waiting for the sinkhole to stabilize, I immediately began construction of a research facility placed right on the edge of the sinkhole.

“We should be done by the end of the week.” Said one of the pony workers.

“Excellent,” I said, tenting my hooves.

“So is there any changes you would like done before construction is completed?” He asked.

“Let’s see… we’ve got a laboratory, large storage space, launch bay… how about a barracks and an infirmary just in case?” I asked. “I can probably get the princesses to get Nurse Redheart a position here as a doctor,” I muttered.

“A barracks and infirmary hmmm, exactly how many ponies are you expecting to house?” THe pony asked.

“Not sure, but we’ll need plenty of space to work,” I said before checking the plans again. “We might also need a room for the princesses in case they decide to visit,” I said.

“Hmm, that will cost you, and add another week, maybe two, until it's all finished,” He told me.

“I also plan to build a facility at the bottom of the sinkhole,” I said. “But that can wait until we can get an estimate of how deep it goes,” I said.

“We don't even know,” Said another pony.

“That’s what the facility is for, so we can know how deep it will go, the second facility will be built as soon as we can reach the bottom,” I said. “For now, focus on continuing construction,” I told them.

As soon as the Facility was completed, I began moving in, and allowing my team to find their area and get to work. I, however, decided to join Twilight and the others in Cloudsdale.

I kinda tuned everything out and began walking off after we visited the factory. All that was on my mind was basically white noise. I ignored everything and just continued walking.

I was basically on autopilot and just zoned out. Suddenly, I heard the loud crowing wail of a Peacock. That kinda snapped me out of my trance. I looked down an alleyway and saw a black Peacock, I could tell it was female for some reason… even though it had a full fan of feathers. I looked both ways before heading into the alley, the Peacock didn’t move, instead she just watched me. Then she spoke.

“Hello again,” The Peacock said.

“W-what?” I said, confused. Her voice sounded familiar to me but I wasn’t sure why.

“Don't you remember? it's me, Hera!” the peacock said as I gave her a blank look.

“Already done, any entities that come to this world are screened, you only got in because I made sure you could,” I said.

“Well I guess we could catch up,” She suggested.

“Sure, but I’ll have to go see the show, a friend of mine should be about to fly too high and destroy their wings, a lot like Icarus, only she’ll be falling towards the hard ground and not the ocean,” I said before I picked her up and put her on my back and let her perch there.

I made my way to where Twilight and the others were and laid down in a loaf. “Hey girls,” I said, as I watched the pegasi. “Did I miss anything?” I asked.

“Who’s your new friend?” Asked Fluttershy.

“Her name is Hera, isn’t she cute?” I said before looking at her. “It’s a bit odd that a female would have the feathers of a male though… might be a mutation or defect or something,” I muttered and then Hera slapped me with one of her wings making the girls laugh.

“Looks like she didn't like that,” Said Twilight.

“Yeah… and if she does that again I’ll have her pinioned,” I said.

“That's not nice,” Fluttershy said.

‘I probably shouldn’t be mean if I wanna get in bed with Fluttershy…’ I thought before looking away and watching the air show.

“So what do you plan to do after this?” Asked Twilight.

“I was going to return to my new star ship,” I said, not entirely expecting her to believe me.

“Well if that sinkhole was different perhaps things won't just go as you'd expect,” said Hera, ominously.

“Meh,” I muttered.

“I guess we’ll just have to see what happens,” Hera said with a shrug of her wings.

“I guess so…” I muttered.

After the events of the day, we all headed back home to Ponyville. Hera followed me to the Library and after entering she started to look around. “Not a bad place,” she said.

“It’s okay,” I told her.

“So Rob, what did you want to talk about?” asked Twilight as she entered.

“Get Barb and Gilda, since I live with you all, you deserve to know,” I told her. She looked a little worried but did as I told her.

“So what is it, is something wrong?” Asked Twilight.

I looked at the three of them, and nodded subtly, before pulling out my phone. “Ultron, five to beam up,” I said into my phone.

“Energizing,” Ultron said on the other end.

“Wh-whats going on!?” Shouted Twilight.

Immediately, we were surrounded by beams of light and reappeared in the transporter room. I saw Ultron and nodded to him. “Follow me, don’t ask any questions, don’t touch anything, and don't stare at anything until we’re on the bridge,” I said before I began leading them up to the bridge.

As soon as we were on the bridge, I took my spot at the captain’s seat. “Okay, welcome to the Harbinger, now you can ask questions, you each get three,” I said.

“Wha-what's going on?” Asked Twilight.

“I’ve invited you onto my ship to tell you the truth, as you know I was once lord Soundblaster, from over a century ago, but recently I decided to shed that title and form and become the unicorn stallion known as Rob Rhapsody, the others will know eventually, none of you are to tell anyone,” I said before looking at Barb and waiting for her question.

“Are you an alien?” Barb asked.

“Yes and no,” I answered. “Next question,” I said,

“Are you really a pony?” asked Gilda.

“I—…” I was about to answer but I had to think it over for a minute. “Yyyyes… at least now I am,” I said, nodding. “Next question,” I said.

“What do you mean “now you are”?” Twilight asked.

“Originally my… soul, I suppose, was bound to a different body though it was loosely bound to it, I was able to astral project, in fact this form has been an astral projection until recently where I was reborn, hence the new look,” I told them.

“I see, so is there anything else we should know?” asked Barb.

“Do any of you have any more questions?” I asked.

“I got nothing,” Said Gilda.

“Okay… now, are you ready to go back home?” I asked.

“Yeah, I’ve got a lot to think about,” said Twilight, rubbing her forehead with her left forehoof.

“Alright, Ultron, send them back down, I have some things to do,” I said.

Ultron nodded before he pressed a button and they were beamed back down to Ponyville.

“So what do you two think of this?” Twilight asked Barb and Gilda as she turned to look at the two.

“It would explain a few things,” said Gilda.

“Maybe but there is still so much we still don't know,” Twilight said.

“What do you think he has on his ship?” Barb asked.

“I don’t know,” Said Twilight, shaking her head.

“I wonder if he’d take us to some far-off galaxy!” said Barb.

“Maybe, I don't know, but maybe we should just wait before we start asking for favors,” Said Twilight.

“I wonder if he’d be into some alien abduction role-play?” Gilda mused. “I’d let him probe me anytime,” she said with arousal. Twilight simply sighed as she rubbed her forehead.

“Can we please talk about something else,” Said Twilight as she started to turn red. Gilda's antic wre both causing her to get flustered and irritated. “Actually I think I’m just going to go lay down,” Said Twilight as she started to walk away leaving Barb and Gilda alone.

“I don't think we will be seeing her for awhile,” Barb said as she watched Twilight leave. Barb watched Twilight, concerned as she walked upstairs and got into bed. “Umm let's go for a walk,” Suggested Barb, before she and Gilda left the library.

Gilda and Barb went to sugarcube corner to grab something to eat. “So what sweets do you like?” Asked Barb which confused Gilda.

“What?” Gilda asked.

“What kind of sweets do you like?” Barb asked.

“Scones,” Gilda said as she grabbed a menu and started to look through it. “I think I will get these blueberry scones,” Said Gilda.

“I think I’ll get the lemon cake and some cupcakes,” Said Barb. Soon Pinkie Pie walked over to their table and took their order before heading back toward the kitchen. The Dragoness and griffon made small talk to pass the time before their orders arrived and they started eating their food.

After a while of playing around in the holodeck I made my way towards the engineering laboratory. Along the way, I noticed a few Yinglets running about the ship, and they were wearing cute little Starfleet uniforms and performing a few simple tasks around the ship.

“That’s amusing,” I muttered. ‘I wonder why they’re wearing Starfleet uniforms?’ I wondered.

Eventually I made it to engineering and found Ultron… and he was working on a transporter pad. “Ah you're here, do you need something.” Ultron asked as he turned to face me.

“Since we have this new ship, have you managed to find my missing girls?” I asked.

“I have, some of them are dead, and a few of your girls had a few unfortunate transporter accidents,” said Ultron.

“Ugh… who died?” I asked, putting a hoof to my forehead.

Then MODOK hovered over. “So far the casualties are… Fluffy, Harley, Lilith, Yuki, Tempest, your Kobold, Kurama, Lupa, Loona, Mitty, Majin android 21, Lycanroarena, Unikitty, Umbra, Shenron, Cheshire cat, and Strumpet the yinglet,” he said.

“Dammit!” I exclaimed. “I just got some of those back!” I exclaimed. I sighed. “Any good news to go with that pile of shit?” I asked.

“We managed to find Magica De Spell and her brother, Poe,” said Ultron.

“I thought they were dead,” I said, confused.

“So did we, but I guess we might’ve been wrong, if you want to check on them they’re in the lower decks,” said Ultron.

“Thank you… I’ll try checking on them later, just focus on getting everyone back, and no more slip-ups,” I said.

“Of course,” Ultron said before he got back to work.

“Oh! One more thing, I noticed the Yinglets were wearing starfleet uniforms, why is that?” I asked.

“I thought it would be a good idea to give them a purpose, and they’ve been doing quite well considering they’re a bunch of savages,” he said.

“Hmm, the uniforms do make them look cute, they don’t seem to be working like the minions as I would’ve thought, they’re more like Oompa Loompas,” I said. “Also, don’t call them savages, that’s rude,” I told him.

“Well, you clearly don't know what they do in their free time,” Said Ultron, but I ignored him.

“Have uniforms made for everyone on the ship, and one for me, I wouldn’t mind having that Captain uniform, it looks nice,” I said before I left and headed down to the transporter room to beam down.

After two weeks of working in the new sinkhole research facility, Princess Celestia came to check on the progress. “Captain Rob, you said you wished to see me?” She asked.

I looked and saw that she had brought the main six as well. “Yes, your highness… I’ve got something you need to see,” I said before leading them to the launch bay, where I had recently installed a special elevator.

“An elevator? That’s what was so important?!” said Rainbow Dash in her normal rude fashion.

“This is a special lift, it’s specifically designed for going down into the sinkhole,” I said. “However… as proud of the achievement as I am, it’s not why I asked the princess here,” I told them before hitting a button to remove the elevator from the shaft. “It’s designed to be removed for maintenance,” I explained before clearing my throat. “Ahem, the reason you’re here is because I’ve hit a bit of a complication,” I said.

“What kind of complication?” asked Twilight.

“I created a special spell that could build 4 special guide rails leading down towards the bottom, the spell is designed like a program, a spell that can enact multiple spells in a specific order to complete a task, once the task is complete, the spell deactivates, in other words the rails are literally given instructions to build themselves,” I said.

“That’s amazing!… but what seems to be the problem, darling?” asked Rarity.

“We don’t know how deep the sinkhole is, we know it’s width is 514 ft across, and based on its diameter we assumed it would be a few hundred feet deep, however, the spell to build the guide rails is still active,” I said. “I activated the spell as soon as the facility was built, the spell is on a loop that lasts at least five minutes to complete the cycle to build a section of the tracks, then it starts the cycle over and continues until it reaches the bottom,” I explained.

“What’s wrong with that?” asked Rainbow Dash.

“It’s been two weeks and it still hasn’t reached the bottom,” I said.

They all gave me confused looks. “As I said before, the spell takes at most five minutes to complete a cycle, and each section it builds is at least 10 ft long each time,” I said.

“It’s been 2 weeks! it has to be about seven miles down by now!” exclaimed Twilight.

“And it’s still going,” I said. “And I can’t speed up the spell without causing issues with the structural integrity, the elevator car can take extreme amounts of pressure, and doesn’t need rope, it’s completely electrical and uses motors to bring it up, however, when we go down, gravity does the work,” I said.

“Isn’t that a bit dangerous?” Fluttershy asked.

“Not really… water is thicker than air, it should be a slower descent, it’ll still be falling, but it’ll mostly be “floating” down,” I said.

“So what are you going to do?” asked Twilight.

“Nothing, as soon as the spell stops, we’ll know when it reaches the bottom, until then, all we can do is wait,” I told them.

“Well, I hope you find the bottom soon,” said Fluttershy.

“I hope so too,” I said. “Your highness, I’d like to see you in my office, privately,” I said as I looked at Princess Celestia.

“Alright let’s go,” she said with a hint of hostility as she followed me. As soon as she was in my office, I walked in and closed the door behind us.

“So what did you want to speak about?” She asked.

“I’m sorry about the blackmail, I didn’t know how else to convince you,” I told her.

“Do you really think that makes things better?” She asked sarcastically.

“I know I’m an asshole, I can admit that, can we please at least try to get along?” I asked. Celesta took a deep breath and sighed before she spoke.

“Fine, but don't expect me to do you any favors,” Celestia told me as she looked me in the eyes.

“The only thing I want is a good relationship,” I said.

“We will just have to see,” Said Celestia.

“Would it be okay if I asked you out on a date?” I asked.

“W-what, of course not,” She told me, surprised.

“Can I ask out your sister?” I asked which made her rub her forehead with her hoof.

“That's up to her,” She sighed.

I smiled. “Okay,” I said.

“Is there anything else?” She asked.

“Yes, I was hoping you could help me with the spell for the elevator, I believe your magic might be able to speed up the process, the faster it takes to reach the bottom of the sinkhole the quicker we can get results,” I said.

“What makes you think that?” Celestia asked.

“You’re an Alicorn,” I deadpanned with a bored expression.

“Just because I am an Alicorn does not make me all powerful,” She told me.

“True, but Alicorn magic is the most powerful in Equestria, aside from the elements of harmony that is,” I said.

“I see your point,” She sighed. “I will help you,” She said.

I nodded. “Come with me,” I said before I led her to a console in the launch bay near the elevator. On the console was a horseshoe. “Place your hoof on the horseshoe, you might feel a bit drained afterwards,” I told her. She nodded before she lifted up her hoof and placed it on the horseshoe. After hitting a button, the console began draining magic from Celestia. “You feeling okay?” I asked.

“Yes, I’ll be fine,” She told me.

The console continued to drain her magic for a couple minutes. “Just a bit longer,” I said. Celestia was taking deep breaths as her magic continued to be drained. I checked the time, and as soon as a full hour had passed, I had her stop. “Okay that’s enough,” I said.

She took off her hoof and sat down. “I think I will return to the castle after I take a short rest.” Celestia said.

I nodded in acknowledgment, and after a short rest she left. I checked the progress on the elevator rails and saw it was building 40 new sections every 2 seconds. I checked to make sure I was alone before I headed into my office and opened the secret console hidden in my desk. I contacted Ultron. “Ultron, you there?” I asked.

“Always,” He said.

“Can you use the ship’s scanners on the sinkhole and confirm a theory I’ve got?” I asked.

“Scanning now,” He said and after a few seconds he spoke again. “It seems you were correct, it reaches the planet's core, but as to how its possible is still unknown,” He told me.

“I think I know, the thing that did this is the strongest force of nature on the planet, I know because I brought her here… Godzilla,” I said.

“You sure? I'm not detecting any above average source of radiation,” Ultron asked.

“You and I both know she’s more than capable of doing this, are you sure there isn’t any radiation?” I asked.

“It's possible she’s so deep the planet's core is masking her presence, but I can't say for certain, But if it is her would she not try to reach the surface after making that hole?” Ultron asked me. “If she were, she should have shown up on the scanners by now,” he said.

“Maybe she made the hole as deep as she could from that end but couldn’t go all the way?” I said.

“Hmm, it's possible, but would she not have tried again, if she absorbed the radiation from the planet's core it would not have been too difficult to fire her atomic breath consecutively, or perhaps I'm simply overanalyzing,” Ultron said.

“Let’s try not to think about it too much, we know where she is, and soon we’ll have a way to get to her,” I said.

“Let's hope so,” Ultron said.

“Did you receive the alicorn magic I sent to you to analyze? I asked, changing the subject.

“Yes I have, I have already started the analysis,” He told me.

“That’s one down, three more to go,” I said. “As soon as we have a sample of the other’s magic, all we’ll need is the spell, and I can ascend and become an Alicorn, of course this plan is mostly just a precaution in case Celestia changes her mind,” I said.

“Ok And how do you plan to get it, as far as we know only Celestia knows its secrets,” Ultron asked.

“We’ll have Nightmare Moon enter her dreams, hopefully, she can be stealthy enough to get it out of her without her knowing,” I said.

“We see.” Said Ultron. “Now how do you plan on reaching Godzilla now that you are an actual pony? the radiation could kill you,” Said Ultron.

“I don’t plan on going after her just yet, I need a few things first,” I said.

“Understood.” Said Ultron.

“I have a plan, I need to splice my current DNA with Vulcan DNA and Tamaranian DNA, however I’ll only be needing special genes that allow Vulcans to mind meld and use their minds the way they do, I can probably use a cyberman’s emotional inhibitor to allow me to operate on logic, I also need the genes that allow Tamuranians to have their immunity to radiation,” I said.

“I’ll get to work on it immediately,” said Ultron.

“Now I just need one more thing,” I told him.

“Which is?” Ultron asked.
