By all means he should be dead, if the Speedforce had its way he would be, but unlike that puny, pathetic force, his source of speed is immune to timeline changes. But not even he could run from this. His own death would catch up to him, he only bought himself a little time after all.

He's running on fumes now.

Death would catch him eventually.

But nobody knows how to manipulate time like him.

He would live. He would prevent what was about to happen.

And they would help him.

His wrist watch turned on, signaling him that it was on its way, on its way to end his very existence. No, he still had work to do, and no zombie speedster would prevent him from doing that.

But even at his fastest he wouldn't have enough time to find it and put it back together. No, he would need them to do the heavy lifting for him. Which meant splitting the spoils with them. As much as he hated that, he had no choice.

It was a matter of life and death.

Eobard Thawne looked at the images one final time before zooming off to begin his mission.

As the hologram began to flicker out, four distinct images could be seen.

The images of Dr. Eggman.

Bowser.

Loki Laufeyson.

And Lord Tirek.

If he was going to prevent what was about to happen, he couldn't do it alone.

No, for this mission, he was going to need a Legion.
