Chapter the Twenty-Sixth: Relaxation

"Take a deep breath in and hold it."

Pip inhaled and puffed up his cheeks.

Luna looked over. "Slowly, Pip. Meditation is not a race. Let it out slow, then try again."

Pip let his breath out and panted. "Do we have to sit on the floor for this?"

Luna nodded. "For now, yes. Once you've been at it for awhile, you can do this anywhere, and some of the more experienced meditators will select their locations based on what they need. Right now, what you need is to sit on the floor."

"Do you usually sit on the floor?"

"No, I usually sit on the balcony outside, but that could create an unnecessary issue. Slow, deep breath in. Hold with your lungs, not with your mouth."

Pip took another breath, and held it in place. He managed to last for almost a minute before letting it out on his own.

"Very good, Pip," smiled Luna, letting her breath out as well. "Keep going."

He took another deep breath and held it, then another, and another. He tried to reflect on his dream, the one where Luna had said she was proud of him. He had unquestionably controlling her at some points, so he had to wonder if those really were her words, or if he'd put them there. He was almost afraid to ask, because he was scared that he might have forced her answer. If he hadn't forced her, why would she be teaching him how to have better control over his dreams?

Then again, if it had been her, then having a better control of his dreams would make the landscape less dreary and more fun. If he were able to keep his dreams under control, he could make a carousel without triggering an orgy. In fact, if he became even better at it, he could help Luna calm the dreams in Ponyville and free up some of her time, and then they could hang out more often.

"Pip?"

Pip gasped as he returned to his senses in a cold sweat. "Y-yes?"

"You've been quiet for the last fifteen minutes. Is everything alright?"

"Y-yeah..." he fidgeted in his seat. "I was just thinking about stuff."

"Good things?"

"Well... Kinda..."

Luna placed a hoof on his shoulder. "What were you thinking about?"

He blushed. "In my dream, earlier today, when you said you were proud of me. It felt really good to hear you say that."

Luna smiled.

"But, I know that some of the things you said were just wishful thinking on my part. Like when you said I was a good lay; I know I'm not."

Luna's smile faded.

"So, I guess I'm just wondering... Are you actually proud of me, or am I just scared of being a failure in your eyes?" His eyes began to well up with tears as he choked out the last few words. "I don't want to be a failure..."

Luna pulled him forward into a hug. "I am proud of you, Pip. You did such a good job this morning. The way you held everything back and tried to keep yourself in control, rather than being distracted by floating ice cream bars and video games was a huge step in the right direction. You did wonderfully, Pip. You can still do better, and I want you to, but if you had been this way all along, then I would not have needed to step in."

"But it allowed me to spend time with you," answered Pip. "The punishments I had to take were at least less bad than they could have been, because I had you."

Luna smiled. "That's so sweet of you to say, Pip. Thank you, truly."

Pip shuffled uncomfortably. "If I... nevermind."

"Tell me, Pip. Let me know what is on your mind."

He swallowed. "If I hadn't been following your actions so closely, if I had never reached out and spanked you, would you have left me alone?"

Luna shook her head. "Of course I would have come to meet you, Pip. Perhaps not as often, but I would have, certainly."

"How can you be sure?"

Luna smiled. "Pip, before I came to see you personally, I had seen your dreams, and gathered enough data from that to know that you needed help. If you had been successful in controlling your thoughts after I left the first night, I would have come back to give you the exact lessons I'm giving you now, but without all of the difficulty we had between then and now. Easier for me, easier for you, and we could have been friends by now."

"Oh." Pip looked dejected. "Now I'm disappointed in myself..."

"Don't be sad, Pip. We have something now that we would not have if we had taken that route."

"Oh?"

Luna took Pip's hoof and stood him up, walking him over to the bed. As she climbed up, she turned around and lay on her back with him between her legs, which she opened.

Pip looked frightened. "I don't know about this. If it feels good, like that thing we did in the shower, won't it be more difficult to shut out? It's a big distraction while I'd be trying to concentrate on not doing anything harmful to you."

Luna nodded. "That's always a possibility. However, there are two reasons to do this. Firstly, if you have a way to do this in real life, you might refrain from taking advantage of it in a dream."

Pip nodded. "I suppose. The dreams do tend to be more active when I don't make it all soft first."

Luna nodded. "There you go. An outlet to vent your libido. I was trying to slow it, but if it's just going to build up and overflow as it has been, venting it may yet be a better plan. You may have problems with semen production earlier in life than most stallions do, but at least this way, you're not taking advantage of your peers."

"What was the second reason? You said you had two."

Luna nodded. "You were right, Pip. When you said that you made me tell you that you were a good lay, that was correct. You were also right when you said just now that you're not; that you know you're not. If the first measure fails, as you suspect, and you end up submitting to the pleasure, then you will have the skill required to keep that mare happy."

"Or stallion?"

"Or stallion."
