Equestria Laboratories

  I am just a normal guy that works in an office. I really like adventuring, and I would often go explore some places around the world with my friends. Some buddies say that I am very good for science, due to my trait to search for an answer to something I wanted to know., no matter how long it took. My life was perfect, completely perfect… I had lots of awesome friends. We always had fun, and it’s marvelous. That was until our company shut down, and I lost my job. Everything went haywire. Nothing went right. One day, my friend introduced me to this show called ‘My Little Pony’. At first, I thought this show was utterly weird and retarded. But then after that, I kind of liked the show. I would then watch the show everyday. The characters are awesome. I like Rainbow Dash the most because Dash has a personality like me.

  One day, while reading fan fiction, I saw an advertisement. It read: “Test subjects needed. Apply now!” And I thought to myself how wonderful it would be. I immediately signed up and I travelled to their ‘test facility’.

  The test facility was quite new and modern. When I went in, they greeted me and asked me why I was here. I told them I applied for the test subject. I was directed to one of their ‘test subject triage centre’. I was both scared and excited at the same time.

  When I finished all the other application ‘papers’, I was told read this paper. Here’s what it says:

“Welcome to Aperture. We are glad that you applied for our

testing. You are currently in test group 3. Please follow the blue

line. Thank you.”

  The other things were guidelines such as ‘don’t panic’ and ‘test safe’. I followed the blue line, and it led me to an eerily dark place. A sphere lit up and talked to me.

  “Hello! Today I am your surgery…”

  “Did you just say surgery?”

  “Yes sir. You are undergoing a robot implant surgery, and then you will be transferred to another facility using portals.”

  I was shocked. But, it sounded awesome to me.

  “Ok.”

  “Very well. Please lie down on this table.”

I held tight my Rainbow Dash keychain. I don’t know why, but it makes me feel lucky. Then, it grabbed my arms and restrained me.

   “Now, please take a deep breath.”

After that, the last thing I felt was me falling into emptiness, spinning. Was I dead? When I woke up (I had no idea how long it was before I woke up), the first thing I saw was a very colorful sky. “Is that heaven?” I thought to myself, confused. I looked around. “Lets explore this place.” I tried to stand up, but I kept falling back. Why couldn’t I stand up? I examined my legs. Instead of legs, I found hooves! Robotic hooves. I dropped my jaw in disbelief. I looked at my hands. Hooves. Oh my. Was I really in Equestria?
