Clayde Reynolds was a human brought to Equestria by a spell performed by Twilight Sparkle as for research on beings outside of their world. When brought to Equestria from Earth, Clayde was surprised to find out that the world of My Little Pony existed and he made many friends until the unthinkable happened.

The Mane Six managed to capture Clayde and dragged him to Canterlot in chains before Princess Celestia and Princess Luna authorized them to use the Elements of Harmony and imprisoned the human in stone and kept him locked away in the mountains.

Over the course of five years, Marvel Heroes from Earth 616 joined Peter Parker, who was summoned by Twilight Sparkle as the greatest hero in the Universe, and settled down in Equestria.
