This story takes place in the time of the 20-year time skip before the end of FIM. Twilight Sparkle thought that when she took over the throne for Princess Celestia and Luna, her friendships would be strained, no more epic adventures, and her guardian days were over. It turns out that she was wrong, there are still much more threats to face and adventures to be had.
