Everyone was eating lunch except Terrafin.

"He's not hungry." Mikey noticed.

"He hasn't even moved away from Flameslinger." Boomer added.

"Anyone else find that worrying?" Sonata asked.

"Not really. My husband and him are best friends." Sonic Boom replied.

"There’s only one Eternal Source left to find, the Magic Source. But magic is certainly no exact science… and from what I can decipher, the Core needs a very special, ancient kind of oil that allows every other element to receive the magic. But my book says nothing else about it… I don’t know where to look." Mikey informed.

"The answer has to be somewhere." Mikey agreed as Flynn showed up.

"Hey you know that weird ancient statue out in the water that we’ve all been wondering about?" Flynn reminded.

"Uh-huh. So?" Pinkie replied.

"…Yah, well… it’s moving…" Flynn answered.

"What?! Guys, can you go investigate? I’ll continue to search for answers." Hugo gasped.

"Rod, Wham, Boomer... you three are with me." Mikey said.

"Right." Wham-Shell nodded as Mikey and his muscles went to the statue and were ready for a fight.

"Who are you?" Mikey asked as the statue was unresponsive before it opened up and started floating, showing its real appearance, having six arms.

"Greetings Skylanders. You have awakened us from our 10,000 year slumber… we are what is left of an ancient civilization. The Arkeyan Weapon Masters. We understood the connection between magic and technology. We are the keepers of many secrets. We have waited for one to come, to pass our secrets to. That which you all pursue is near." The statue informed.

"Get Drill, I got an idea." Mikey said to Lightning Rod before the Storm Giant left. "Where is the Eternal Magic Source?"

"You cannot obtain the final Source yet." The Weapon Master responded.

"Why not?" Mikey asked.

"Remember the oil Hugo mentioned?" Wham-Shell pointed out.

"We need something special for this element?" Mikey asked.

"Yeah!" Boomer answered as Pinkie and Sonata came with Chop Chop, Prism Break, Zook, Warnado, and Double Trouble

"Are you all prepared to cross the great chain of time?" The Weapon Master checked as everyone shrugged before giving a nod. "Good. New discoveries await you."

"How are we supposed to get where though?" Sonata asked.

"Simple. Travel by chain." Chop Chop answered as he pointed towards giant chain with his sword before everyone carefully walked the chain.

"Glad Ferny is with Sonic Boom." Pinkie said in relieve.

"Worried he can't fly yet?" Sonata noted.

"I just starting parenting." Pinkie pointed out.

"True." Sonata shrugged as the group soon arrived at an unknown place, getting off the chain as they looked at their surroundings, soon arriving.

"Wow, can't say I expected this." Mikey admitted before a hologram of the Weapon Master appeared.

"The Eternal Source of Magic was the original source of all creations. But as we uncovered its secrets, its power could not be contained. You must prove your worth if you are to be trusted with the energy that flows through all things magic: the Quicksilver." The Weapon Master informed.

"Incredible." Sonata awed.

"Welp, let’s get going." Pinkie declared as Double Trouble sensed what they need.

"Follow me." Double Trouble said as the group moved forward, breaking vase obstacles before encountering two Arkeyan Blasters that popped out of the ground.

"That's all the security they have here? Zook, you mind?" Mikey requested.

"Locked and Loaded!" Zook laughed with a battle cry while firing two bazooka shells at the blasters before the two enemies suddenly ducked, retreating underground and dodging the shots as they came back up unharmed, followed by Mikey tapping the bottom of his hammer, causing vines to restrain the turrets.

"Try again." Mikey offered.

"Hehehehe!" Zook chuckled as he fired again, nailing the blasters this time and wrecking them.

"Everyone, stay alert." Mikey warned before the group then saw Gnashers with blue flames on their heads up ahead.

"That's not good." Pinkie noticed.

"Blue flames do burn hotter than normal ones." Ignitor informed while arriving.

"He's actually right." Sonata agreed as Wham-Shell fired three Starfishicus Superioralis bullets as they homed in on three Gnashers and hit them, defeating them as there were three more.

"Ignitor, with me companion. We'll draw them away, everyone else go get the Quicksliver!" Chop Chop said.

"You sure?" Pinkie asked.

"GO!" Chop Chop urged as the two knights drew the attention of most of the enemies and lead them away.

Mikey solved a lockmaster imp puzzle and got a treasure chest. "I think the key's in the path to the right."

"You're right, Mikey." Sonata agreed, unintentionally doing a pun before a rimshot was heard as Pinkie held a voice/sound recorder.

"What? Someone had to do it." Pinkie shrugged.

"Not the time." Sonata pointed out as the group moved ahead, encountering an Arkeyan Defender.

"If it's anything like the Hammah..." Mikey noted.

"We can take it" Sonata assured as she attacked the Defender, only for the enemy to not be damaged at all. "Doh! Forgot about that! We gotta get it to attack!"

"Easy enough." Prism Break responded as the Defender was about to attack Sonata before a crystal fell on it from above, defeating the enemy.

"Where did that come from?" Sonata asked.

"It was me, I summoned a crystal shard." Prism Break answered.

"Nice. Double, still sensing the Quicksliver?" Mikey checked.

"Yes, this way!" Double Trouble nodded.

"Key, remember?" Sonata pointed out.

"Oh, right." Double Trouble replied as the group moved forward, encountering another defender and three blasters.

"We don't have time for this!" Pinkie groaned.

"Whoa! Pinkie, chill! Your hair’s deflating!" Mikey yelped as Pinkie touched her hair, getting... saliva?

"That's being done by... Drool?" Pinkie responded in confusion.

"Hmm, I’d recognize it anywhere. It’s Wrecking Ball. He may be waiting for us at the end." Double Trouble noted.

"Good, let's go!" Pinkie declared as Boomer threw three triple-bundle dynamite, blowing up the three Arkeyan Blasters.

"Nice one, Boomer!" Mikey whooped as the Defender was about to attack before Warnado launched mini-versions of himself from his Whirlwind Flight at the enemy, following by a Turtle Slam, defeating the Defender.

"Lead the way, Double." Sonata said as the group kept moving forward before encountering two Blasters guarding the key. "War, I got an idea. Start a tornado and me & Wham-Shell will shoot water into it."

"Alright." Warnado nodded as he charged with attack and the pair fired water in, making a hurricane attack. Warnado then flew over the two blasters, getting them wet before he did another Turtle Slam, making a huge splash that defeated the two enemies. "We should've done these attacks ages ago!"

"Heehee, there’s a time for everything." Sonata giggled as the group went back to the three way path and saw the road that went forward.

"Look!" Pinkie called out as Chop Chop and Ignitor were fighting there way through another path.

"Let’s meet ‘em up ahead!" Sonata declared as the group went straight before going left and right, beating Gnashers, Blasters and Defenders as they soon arrived at a gate and unlocked it.

"That was enjoyable." Ignitor noted.

"Ah, good to see you all again." Chop Chop greeted.

"Glad you two are okay." Mikey said.

"Do not worry, I have my Fire Forged Armor and Chop Chop has his shield." Ignitor assured while pointing to the shield on his back.

"Great, any luck getting ahead?" Pinkie asked while she solved a Lockmaster imp puzzle and got a treasure chest before looking ahead. "Well, there’s Arkeyan Defenders up ahead."

"It's just one." Mikey miscounted.

"Three actually." Sonata pointed out.

"Got an idea. Prism, fire a crystal. Ignitor, heat it up." Pinkie ordered.

"Alright." Prism Break responded as he summoned a super crystal shard as it fell and crashed onto the ground before Ignitor jumped out of his armor using his Fire and Brimstone Flame Form Mortar and into the crystal, which reflected his fire right at the enemies as the Defenders were about to attack when they got hit head-on.

"Companions.... I like these three." Ignitor smiled as he flew out of the crystal and back into his armor.

"You okay, Ig?" Mikey asked.

"Of course." Ignitor nodded as the group moved forward before encountering an Arkeyan Ultron guarding a Soul Gem.

"I got this. The rest of you go!" Mikey urged.

"There's a locked gate right past it, but I don't see a key anywhere here!" Sonata pointed out.

"Leave it to me." Double Trouble assured as he fired his Arcane Eldritch Beam at the enemy, only for it to be deflected as the machine fired missiles into the sky.

"Scatter!" Sonata shouted before the enemy's eyes aimed laser pointers at Boomer, with its shields dropping.

"Boomer!" Pinkie shouted as she used her Skeletal Grasp to shield him before four missiles rained on the shield, exploding but Boomer was safe before two outer rings of missiles rained around him, hitting some of the others.

"Okay, now I'm mad." Prism Break growled as the enemy’s shields were up again while it fired more missiles into the air.

"Wham, you're with me!" Sonata said.

"Right!" Wham-Shell nodded as the enemy started aiming again, dropping its shields once more, allowing Wham-Shell and Sonata to strike hard and fast with the double attack was enough to beat the Ultron as the missiles exploded midair. "Nice."

But then a teleporter appeared with the hologram of the Weapon Master reappearing. "The key for this gate is through the teleporter."

"Stay alert, everyone." Mikey warned as Sonata grabbed the Soul Gem, which looked like it belonged to Wrecking Ball.
The group then took the teleporter as they encountered a Magic Spell Punk as it controlled a reanimated orb, electrifying it. "I hate Spell Punks."

The group managed to defeat the Spell Punk as they walked across the chain bridge, encountering to Defenders guarding a treasure chest and a key.

"We're getting close. I feel it." Double Trouble noted.

"Incoming enemies first though." Sonata pointed out.

"Leave it to me." Double Trouble responded as the enemies were about to attack before he summoned a Rocket Powered Double as it lunged at one of the Defenders, defeating it as another double emerged from the fallen enemy and attacked the other Defender, defeating it.

"Great job!" Mikey smiled before Pinkie picked up the treasure chest as Sonata grabbed the key.

"Now let's find another teleporter." Sonata noted.

"Over here." Chop Chop informed as the group went to the nearby teleporter, only to find themselves against two Magic Spell Punks and a group of Gnashers.

"You call this an ambush?" Sonata scoffed.

"I don't think it's supposed to be an ambush." Pinkie pointed out as Mikey slammed his hammer down and stones pierce the enemies, defeating them instantly.

"Nice to see what my upgrade can do." Mikey smiled.

"Let's go!" Pinkie declared as the group used another teleporter, encountering two Defenders and an Ultron. "Burning Bone Ball!"

"Pinkie!" Sonata and Mikey shouted as the two tackled Pinkie, canceling her attack.

"We gotta get them to drop their guard first!" Sonata pointed out.

"Oh. Oops." Pinkie apologized.

"Seriously?!" Mikey deadpanned.

"When did you become Raph?" Sonata and Pinkie noticed.

"Oh." Mikey simply said as the Defenders were about to attack with the Ultron aiming before the Goofball Trio smirked.

"Gotcha." The Goofball Trio snickered before they struck the enemies hard while unknowingly defeating three Gnashers.

"That was impressive." Sonata noted as Chop Chop followed up the combined attack with Cursed Bone Brambler, defeating the Defenders and Ultron.

"Excellent, friend." Ignitor nodded.

"I certainly try." Chop Chop responded.

"Follow me." Double Trouble said.

"…Actually, Zook and I will catch up in a bit." Mikey noted.

"Ok." Pinkie shrugged as the group went ahead of Mikey and Zook, taking a teleporter as they arrived back at the locked gate.

"Wonder what they found." Wham-Shell pondered.

"We'll find out soon enough." Sonata replied as she unlocked the gate, opening it.

"We Arkeyans once ruled all of Skylands. We guarded the Eternal Source of Magic to prevent future generations from discovering our secrets. Beyond this gate is what remains of our defenses. The Quicksilver Vault lies ahead. It will only open when the three energy beams are aligned with the three seals." The Weapon Master informed.

"We got a... Grub?" Pinkie said in confusion as an unknown figure was bouncing towards the vault, like it was guarding it.

"Wrecking Ball." Ignitor recognized.

"Well, we don't have time to waste." Sonata declared as the group slid down the chain bridge, arriving at the Scion of Earth and seeing a locked gate to the right.

"Where's the key?" Pinkie asked.

"Somewhere in the left path, that's for sure." Sonata assured.

"I'll get it." Chop Chop said.

"Um, I don't think anyone can go there alone. There's an Ultron, Gnashers, and a Defender." Pinkie pointed out.

"I'll go." Ignitor volunteered.

"Not without me. Better safe than sorry." Pinkie responded as she and the two knights raced and got ambushed by Wrecking Ball. "What the?!"

But then Wrecking Ball shot his tongue out, grabbing Pinkie before bringing her towards him and her head into his mouth.

"Grab her legs!" Chop Chop urged as he and Ignitor did that, pulling Pinkie out of Wrecking Ball's mouth.

"Well, my private candy stash was looted. Still have some left." Pinkie noted.

"Wrecking Ball loves food." Chop Chop informed as Wrecking Ball let out a belch before rolling away.

"After him!" Ignitor urged before the trio encountered the Gnashers, Arkeyan Defender and Ultron Pinkie spoted earlier, guarding a scroll.

"Get Wreck. We got them." Mikey assured as he and Zook came in and started fighting the group of enemies with the turtle was wearing a unicorn hat.

"When did you get back here?!" Pinkie asked.

"Focus on Wrecking Ball." Mikey pointed out as the trio rushed ahead before crossing a chain bridge and went onto a teleporter, finding a laser puzzle at the location they appeared on.

"I can move these." Ignitor assured.

"I think all of us should work on this, that way it will be done quicker." Chop Chop noted.

"Let's get to it." Pinkie declared as the trio moved around blocks and crystals before they got the laser puzzle solved as a seal was unlocked, opening a gate.

"We're coming, Wrecking Ball!" Ignitor called out as he, Pinkie and Chop Chop slid down another chain bridge, encountering another laser puzzle as they later solved it, unlocking another seal and opening a gate.

"Just one more." Pinkie counted before Wrecking Ball stomped around acting like an angry Rottweiler. But before any of the three could call out or react, Wrecking Ball rolled away.

"Let’s go!" Chop Chop declared as the trio slid down the chain bridge, finding one more laser puzzle.

"This is getting annoying." Pinkie groaned.

"We have already gotten used to it." Ignitor responded before the trio later managed to solve the laser puzzle as the final seal was unlocked, opening the Quicksilver vault.

"The vault has been opened. You may at last retrieve what you seek." The Weapon Master informed as a teleporter appeared.

"Our companion first!" Chop Chop pointed out as Pinkie looked at the distance before paling.

"Actually, I think I know where he’s heading. So let’s just go!" Pinkie urged as the trio went pnto the teleportor, appearing on a small island with a key as Pinkie grabbed it before they crossed the chain bridge, encountering Arkeyan Blasters and Magic Spell Punks.

"Out of our way!" Chop Chop growled as the three fought their way through, encountering Gnashers and more Magic Spell Punks before defeating them. They then fought Arkeyan Defenders before they found everyone else fighting Magic Spell Punks and an Arkeyan Ultron.

"We'll hold them back. Go!" Sonata ordered.

"Actually, we’re staying here right now! ‘Cause-" Pinkie tried to explain when a green ball of magic energy rolled in, attacking and bouncing off the group before exploding, revealing Wrecking Ball. "What timing!"

"Forgive us, friend." Ignitor apologized while readying his sword, but as Ignitor was about to attack, a forcefield suddenly surrounded Wrecking Ball as he rolled around like crazy.

"That's not good." Pinkie noted as Chop Chop shielded himself, Ignitor and Pinkie.

"Don't worry, the force field shatters in a few seconds." Chop Chop assured.

"Okay, here's the plan. Chop goes right, Ig goes left, I go down the middle." Pinkie planned.

"Hurry!" Sonata urged as Wrecking Ball stopped spinning, causing the force field to shatter, leaving him open.

"Attack!" Pinkie shouted before Wrecking Ball lashed his tongue out. "Skeletal Grasp." Pinkie yelled as skeleton hands emerged and grabbed the tongue, but it slipped through and kept rocketing forward. "Not this time!" Pinkie countered as right when Wrecking Ball's tongue was about to hit Pinkie in the face, she bit the tip of it, stopping the attack. "*Muffled* I've heard of cat caught your tongue, but this is ridiculous!"

"Now, friend!" Chop Chop declared as he used his Cursed Bone Brambler Soul Gem ability with Ignitor reading his Double Mega Slam, making his sword burn magenta. The double attack sent Wrecking Ball flying back as Pinkie let the tongue go.

"Yuck." Pinkie gagged as the others managed to defeat the Magic Spell Punks and Arkeyan Ultron while Wrecking Ball fell unconscious.

"Rest, friend. We'll get you better." Ignitor assured as Pinkie used the key, unlocking and opening the gate.

"Now the Quicksilver" Pinkie said as the group, with Double Trouble carrying Wrecking Ball, went up to the top and found the vial of Quicksilver.

"We pass unto you the very essence of all magical being… the Quicksilver." The Weapon Master simply said as Sonata carefully grabbed the vial.

"Alright, now let’s head back." Sonata declared.

"Agreed." Ignitor nodded as the group soon returned to the ruins.

"What happened?" Wrecking Ball asked.

"A lot." Sonata answered before the vial floated out of her hand. "Whoa!" Sonata yelped as Master Eon then appeared before the.Quicksilver floated out of the vial.

"Quicksilver, to bind the magic within the Core of Light." Master Eon informed as the glob of Quicksilver flew to the Core of Light before dropping into the symbols, causing them to glow quicksilver gray.

"Wow." The Goofball Trio awed.

"Nice. Now let's rest up before heading out for the last piece." Spyro advised.

"Yeah, I'm beat." Mikey agreed.

"Welp, time to take it easy for a bit." Pinkie shrugged as everyone took a break.
