Flameslinger struggled to get back to his feet as he was feeling a lot better.

"You all good, bud?" Terrafin asked.

"Yeah, I'm good." Flameslinger nodded as Mikey came up.

"Don't push yourself, bud. We're going to need you against Kaos." Mikey pointed out.

"Got it, Boss." Flameslinger nodded.

"Come on, let’s get back to the Weapon Master with Hugo." Spyro said while flying by.

"Get Stealth, Drill Sergeant , Zap, and Sonic Boom. We might need them." Mikey responded.

"You got it." Spyro nodded.

"Count me in too!" Eruptor volunteered.

"Hehe, don’t forget about me." Ghost Roaster added.

"Same here, mate." Dino Rang agreed.

"Alright, let's meet up with the girls." Mikey said as the group soon met up with Hugo, Pinkie and Sonata at the Weapon Master’s location.

"The Quicksilver is flowing through the core! I can’t believe it! Who knew that there are still remnants of the Arkeyans?" Hugo cheered in excitement.

"We did." The Weapon Master replied.

"Oh, um, well of course you did…" Hugo stammered in embarrassment.

"Can you tell us where the last Eternal Element Source is?" Sonata asked.

"Yes! Please! We must find the Eternal Magic Source! It’s the final source we need to rebuild the Core of Light! Can you help us?" Hugo agreed.

"Yes we can." The Weapon Master answered.

"I can’t believe I am speaking to a real Arkeyan! I thought you had all disappeared." Hugo gushed, still excited.

"In some ways, yes, but in others, we have always been here… But for now, you will find the Eternal Source of Magic locked away in our ancient armory, where you will also witness the our expanse of our civilization… of our power. Would you like to go to our armory now, Skylanders?" The Weapon Master offered as the heroes nodded, ready to save Skylands. "Excellent. Then the Arkeyan Armory awaits you."

"Let's go!" Pinkie declared as the group walked across the chain before they soon arrived at the Arkeyan Armory, walking onto an area as a hologram of the Weapon Master appeared.

"These caverns hold much of what is left of our once proud civilization. Restore power and you will find the Eternal Magic Source within. But be warned, Skylanders. Restoring power will also awaken the ancient Arkeyan defenses that have lain dormant for thousands of years." The Weapon Master informed.

"Drill, see if you have a scanner to detect any power relays or something." Pinkie requested.

"Acknowledged. Power source straight ahead." Drill Sergeant informed.

"Lead the way, buddy." Mikey said as it didn’t even take ten seconds and the group already found the power switch.

"That was easy." Sonata noted.

"At last, it is time. After untold ages of darkness, LIGHT!" The Weapon Master declared as Pinkie turned on the power, turning on the lights and defenses, revealing the place and giant robots.

"HOO, I'M GOING TO LOVE THIS MISSION!" Pinkie cheered.

"Dude! Donnie and Twilight are SO gonna be jealous that they missed THIS!!!" Mikey gushed with starry eyes.

"TOTALLY!!!" Sonata agreed.

"Uh, guys? Elemental Source, then look." Spyro pointed out.

"Uh, right. Sorry. Drill, this is your territory. Lead the way." Mikey request

"Acknowledged." Drill Sergeant replied as the group went down before they got a scroll of Arkeyan History.

"Wow, that’s a lot." Pinkie noted.

"Pinkie, come on." Sonata urged as the group moved forward before encountering a Defense Drone dispenser and a Control Tower as it created a Defense Drone with it taking flight before Sonata effortlessly destroyed it. "That's the best this place has?"

But then another Drone popped out as Mikey cleared his throat. "Control Tower."

"Right, sorry." Sonata apologized as Mikey hammered the control tower, destroying it, the dispenser and the drone as Pinkie spun another switch, moving the barricade to where they entered the area from while opening a path forward.

"There's not a lot of security guards here. No offense, Drill, but your race was really easy going on security." Stealth Elf noted.

"It is only the beginning of this mission." Drill Sergeant responded as the group moved forward, encountering four blasters, two drone dispensers and a drone control tower.

"Skeletal Grasp!" Pinkie shouted as the attack grabbed the Arkeyan Blasters before she squeezed her hands, causing the attack to crush the blasters.

"I gotta admit. I never thought the Arkyeans had all this stuff." Spyro noted as Sonata withdrew her swords and charged up her fists.

"If they're ancient, makes sense you didn't think that." Sonata responded while pummeling the control tower, taking out the drones and their dispensers.

"Still, that's the fun about archeology." Stealth Elf added as the attack destroyed the blaster behind the wrecked control tower before the group kept moving forward, encountering four dispensers and a control tower.

"Eternal Magic Source detected, friends." Drill Sergeant informed as Mikey used his vine lash attack, destroying the control tower, knocking out the drones and dispensers before Pinkie dashed off and returned with a treasure chest.

"Went left, beat a control tower and found this. BTW, I also flipped the switch, so now we can go forward." Pinkie mapped.

"Lead the way, Drill." Mikey said as the group moved forward before the Goofball Trio's jaws dropped at what they saw, a giant Arkeyan robot with an empty control station in the head.

"We get to drive that?!" Pinkie gasped.

"Ohboyohboyohboyohboy!" Mikey gushed.

"WHAT'RE WE WAITING FOR?! LET'S GET IN THIS BAD BOY!" Sonata declared.

"I think I'll fly." Spyro admitted.

"Same here." Sonic Boom agreed.

"Okay, you two cover us from above!" Mikey ordered.

"Stealth, ride Spyro in case they need ninja support." Sonata added.

"Right." Stealth Elf nodded.

"Dino, hop on." Sonic Boom offered.

"Right-o." Dino-Rang accepted as he and Stealth Elf hopped aboard their flying friends as the rest started the mech with the robot activated as it threw some punches before stepping forward.

"Incoming drones!" Spyro called out as Mikey panicked and pressed a button, causing the robot to shoot laser eye shots, shooting down the three drones before Sonata flipped the right switch, causing it to throw a right punch, destroying the platform an Ultron was on.

"It's working!" Sonata smiled.

"Incoming bridge! Has an Ultron and five drones!" Sonic Boom informed.

"Then let's show them our power, my friend." Dino-Rang added as he, Spyro, Sonic Boom and the robot shot down the drones and Ultron down as it then punched the bridge.

"You're enjoying this, aren't you?" Ghost Roaster noticed.

"Yeah!" The Goofball Trio answered as the group kept moving forward, beating enemies and destroying obstacles while noticing the floor soon started to get hot under the robot, then later saw lava oozing out of the walls. Soon enough, they arrived at an island above lava.

"That doesn't look inviting." Sonata noted.

"Incoming guard Ultrons!" Stealth Elf informed.

"Clear away!" Sonata shouted as the group beat the Ultrones and Drones before encountering another giant robot war machine, blocking the way.

"Guys, better land. We can handle him!" Mikey advised as Pinkie held a hammer and a boxing bell.

"Final Round!" Pinkie commentated before ringing the bell with a *Ding ding!*

"FIGHT!" Sonata shouted with the two war machines started fighting as the Goofball Trio won, making the enemy sink before they noticed a gate to the right.

"And I think that's our way out." Mikey noted.

"Affirmative. Eternal Magic Source close." Drill Sergeant informed as the War Machine moved forward before the gate opened, allowing the heroes to pass through before the robot stopped, allowing everyone to get onto land.

"Okay, stomach not doing well." Eruptor groaned, clutching his belly.

"GET BACK!" Stealth Elf yelped.

"LAVA BARF!!!" Eruptor gagged as he vomited barf made of lava, much to the girls' disgust.

"I'm seriously hoping Ferny can't do that." Pinkie dreaded.

"Then for his sake, don't let him see that." Sonic Boom advised.

"Agreed." Pinkie nodded as Spyro flipped up a switch.

"Behold, the Eternal Magic Source. You will find the Eternal Magic Source in the main vault, at the center of our temple. In order to unlock the main vault, three switches must be activated in smaller vaults. These vaults will require a security key card. *Shows a hologram of said key card* You will find this security key card somewhere in the lower level of our temple. Find it and bring it back to the main security panel." The Weapon Master informed.

"That's a big and round key card." Mikey wondered out loud.

"Yeah, seem unorthodox." Pinkie noted.

"Random?" Sonata guessed.

"Uh-huh." Pinkie nodded.

"Still this maybe the easiest Source we could recover. No sign of Kaos' subordinates." Ghost Roaster cackled.

"Dude, remember the Arkeyans?" Zap pointed out.

"That's more automated security than anything else." Ghost Roaster responded.

"Roast has a point there." Mikey admitted as Pinkie flipped a switch, opening a path forward.

"Well, might as well keep our guard up." Pinkie shrugged as everyone moved forward, cautious of an ambush before encountering four Arkeyan Defenders.

"These guys don't know when to quit!" Mikey groaned as the two on the front were about to attack before Stealth Elf countered, slicing them apart.

"Well done, Stealth!" Sonata smiled.

"Two more incoming from the back." Stealth Elf informed.

"Mirror Clones!" Sonata shouted as the other two Defenders were about to attack before they were sliced by Mirror Clones of Sonatas. "Perfect!"

The group moved forward, only to encounter two Defenders and eight Blasters.

"Allow me." Ghost Roaster said as he charged forward with his Fright Bite Skull Charge, attacking the Blasters.

"Great job, buddy!" Mikey whooped as the Defenders were about to attack before he whacked them with his hammer.

"We're defeating them easily!" Dino-Rang smiled.

"Just because we know how they work." Sonata pointed out before purple fireballs started raining down. "What was that?!"

Dark laughter was heard, getting Spyro's attention. "Was that...? No, it couldn't be."

"Huh?" The Goofball Trio asked in confusion.

"Let's get going." Spyro urged.

"Spy, whoever it is we can take him." Mikey assured as the group went to the main vault before Pinkie flipped a switch, opening a path down while closing the path to where they got to the vault from.

"This way." Pinkie said as the group went down, encountering three Blasters.

"Tidal Slash." Sonata shouted as the attack defeated the enemies before Mikey returned appeared with a chest.

"Had to beat a blaster and a control tower." Mikey explained.

"Great!" Pinkie smiled as Spyro was still on edge

"Also found this bad boy surrounded by rocks that I broke through." Mikey added as he brought out some kind of controller before Sonic Boom saw something in the distance.

"I'm gonna be away for a bit." Sonic Boom informed.

"Good luck." Sonata responded as Sonic Boom flew off somewhere before the group moved forward, encountering a lot more blasters, drone dispensers and two control towers, with all of them guarding a key card.

"Don't stop now! We're close to the last source!" Mikey urged while fighting the enemies.

"Mikey, it's a key card. So not that close. And besides, the blasters and control towers are rooted, not to mention we can beat the drones easily." Sonata responded.

"It's called Motivation, Sonata." Mikey responded.

"She knows that." Pinkie assured before the enemies were soon beaten as they got the key card and found Voodood's Soul Gem.

"Excellent, you have found the security card. Now bring it back to the security control panel." The Weapon Master informed.

"Let's g... Spy, you okay pal?" Mikey noticed.

"I'm fine." Spyro answered as Sonic Boom returned with a wizard hat.

"Nice hat." Sonata smiled.

"Thanks. Let's move." Sonic Boom responded as the group went back up, encountering and defeating a group of Defenders, two Blasters, and a duo of Ultrons.

"Spy, you're on edge. What's got your attention?" Pinkie noticed as Pinkie switched the pathway doors again, clearing a path to the control panel.

"Seriously, I'm fine." Spyro urged.

"Guys, let's go!" Pinkie called out as the group went toward the control panel and inserted the key card.)

"You have succeeded. Now deactivate the three switches within the smaller vaults." The Weapon Master instructed.

"Simple enough." Mikey shrugged.

"Better split up to make this quick." Sonata noted.

"Right, divide and conquer! Ghost, you and Dino are with me." Mikey said.

"I'll take Spyro, Stealth Elf and Eruptor." Sonata added.

"Everyone else is with me!" Pinkie finished.

"I'll go low." Mikey noted.

"Heehee! Right!" Pinkie giggled.

"Then I'll go straight ahead." Sonata concluded as each group ran towards their respective gates. While Mikey’s group went down and Pinkie’s group went left, Sonata and her group went straight ahead, arriving at a gate. "This will be... Easy?"

When the gate opened, the group was suddenly sent flying by a pair of giant burning horns made of flames.

"Hehe, wow. I can’t believe you didn’t expect that." A dark voice chuckled.

"By the ancestors… It is him." Spyro gasped.

"Spyro, you have a nasty looking brother." Sonata guessed in confusion.

"That’s no brother! It’s…" Spyro tried to explain.

"Heh! Two sides of the same coin, Spyro! Let’s see how your friends like my dark powers!" The black Spyro declared as he headbutted the group again, dealing plenty of damage. "I’m not like that weak half of mine! I am Dark Spyro!"

"Fighting for good isn't weakness. You want Spyro, you'll have to go through us." Sonata said while twirling her swords before Dark Spyro chuckle as he raised a clawed hand and fired dark energy as Sonata, who ducked. "Okay. *Sheathes swords before readying her fists* Time to shed some light on the situation."

"What's the plan, Mistress?" Stealth Elf asked.

"The plan's to help Spyro beat his dark double." Sonata answered while cracking her knuckles.

"Agreed." Stealth Elf nodded.

"Hehe! Born to Burn!" Eruptor chuckled, letting out his battle cry.

"Hit him hard!" Sonata declared.

"You guys sure about this?" Spyro asked.

"You're our friend, Spyro." Sonata assured as Spyro chuckled with a puff of fire.

"Thanks guys. Really appreciate it." Spyro smiled before the group charged at Dark Spyro as Sonata took in a deep sharp breath with her fists glowing with crackling energy)

"Let’s go!" Sonata shouted as the group started fighting Dark Spyro.

"You think I'm weak like my other half?!" Dark Spyro growled while fighting.

"Not really. Zoom Punch!" Sonata shouted with her right arm crackled with energy as she threw a right punch, making her arm extend as that hit Dark Spyro before Stealth Elf disappeared, causing three Scarecrow Spin Slicers to surround the enemy while attacking him.

"You think relying on others make you strong?!" Dark Spyro hissed.

"Heh, that’s what you don’t get, buster!" Eruptor responded as he erupted, but it was quicker, stronger and three made mini volcanoes appear, spewing out fireballs for a few seconds before fading away.

"The Skylanders protect each other!" Stealth Elf added while throwing kick after kick with Dark Spyro defending while growling before he leapt into the air and ground-pounded the ground with his head and horns, sending out a shock-wave that knocked the group back.

"He's tough, I'll say that." Sonata admitted.

"That is me after all. If he wants an Earth Pound, I'll give him an Earth Pound." Spyro said as he flew up and did the same move, knocking Dark Spyro back as Sonata got an idea.

"Spyro, shoot a Daybringer Flame at me! Eruptor, barf out a Mega Magma Ball and Stealth Elf will kick it towards me!" Sonata ordered as everyone looked confused but did it anyway

"Doesn’t matter if you all team up! It’s useless! Useless! Useless! Useless! Useless! Useless!" Spyro mocked, making Sonata angry as a memory flashed her mind.

"Oh, *Right fist sparking with energy* we’ll see who’ll be the last one standing! *Spins forward while her right first caught the Daybringer Flame and Mega Magma Ball* It’s… *As the burning punch combo attack collided with Dark Spyro’s Earth Pound before it suddenly knocked the enemy back with a bad burn* OVER!!!" Sonata roared as that attack sent Dark Spyro spiraling before he stopped himself mid-flight.

"I'll be back, just you wait!" Dark Spyro growled maliciously before he flew off.

"Good riddance." Sonata scoffed.

"Well, better get going and press that button he was guarding." Spyro informed.

"After you." Sonata replied as Spyro approached the switch's button and then pressed it.

"All switches are now unlocked. You may now retrieve the Eternal Magic Source, the final component of the Source of Light." The Weapon Master presented.

"Sounds like the others got the rest of the switches." Eruptor noted.

"Let's get the source." Sonata declared as the Eternal Magic Source floated out of the Main Vault before everyone regrouped at it.

"Well, this is it. The last piece of the puzzle." Spyro counted.

"Let's show Kaos a sunrise he won't forget." Mikey declared.

"This is gonna be awesome!" Pinkie cheered.

"Time to head back, everyone." Sonata said when the group suddenly floated up towards the Eternal Magic Source before a bright light flashed then faded, revealing the group and Source to be gone.

Back at the Core of Light Ruins, the group suddenly appeared with the Eternal Magic Source as Master Eon appeared while Inferno went up to Pinkie. "Heehee, hey sweetie."

"Pinkie, Mikey, Sonata, you and the Skylanders have retrieved the final Element, the very essence of Skylands, the Eternal Magic Source. The Core of Light... is reborn." Master Eon explained as the Eternal Magic Source flew into the machine and under ground before becoming absorbed into the giant crystal, causing the machine to temporarily shut down before it was kicked up 100% with the ooze and crystal glowing, while above ground, the mask's eyes and quicksilver symbols were glowing as lightning crackled from the Crystal Eye before it shot a big beam of light into the sky, eliminating the looming dark clouds and restoring Skylands, causing a spinning rainbow shine from where the beam is shooting from on the Crystal Eye, leaving the Goofball Trio completely speechless.

"Worth it." Sonata smiled.

"Well, we better rest up and train hard. 'Cause we got a job to finish sooner or later." Spyro advised as everyone else agreed with the Core starting to work.

Meanwhile, at Kaos' Kastle, Kaos was walking while pondering as he past by a charred, smoking, burned, pained and dizzy Glumshanks before he lightly groaned, catching the dark portal master's attention. "Why, what's the matter, Glumshanks? You look, uh... different somehow." Kaos noted as Glumshanks silently growled, that being the last straw with him about to speak his mind and give Kaos what for before the windows flew right open, with light shining in, blinding the two. "AAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHH! What the-Are you kidding me?! *Walking blindly* Glumshanks!"

"Master!" Glumshanks called out, walking blind too.

"Glumshanks!" Kaos called back.

"Master?" Glumshanks asked as the two crashed soon into each other before Kaos pushed Glumshanks.

"Glumshanks! Get us out of here! Full speed ahead! To the Outlands! *Roar of fury/sadness* My darkness! My beautiful darkness! *Determined* Well... I'm not beaten, YET!" Kaos declared as his Kastle flew away, retreating to the Outlands.
