People say that fate is unavoidable and that events happen because the universe says so. Pucci happens to be one of these people and is very devoted to such an ideal. But, in the final moments of his death, Pucci activates Made in Heaven in a desperate attempt to avoid his fate. He succeeded in defying the fate he saw and activated his reset, but something went wrong when Pucci overused his ability.

It had worked in preventing his death, but maybe a little too well.

Now an earth pony living in the high society of Canterlot, Pucci has a peaceful life as a famed astronomer with his assistant Moondancer. But after attending a music show days before Hearts warming eve, he unknowingly gets himself in the middle of past grudges and a long-time revenge plot in the making when a mysterious ghost of his appears. What is it? who's the strange stallion that approached him after summoning his ghost? And what's his connection to the retired Princess Celestia? Follow Pucci as he juggles trying to uncover the strange stallion's plot, assisting the strange stallion, and figuring out what the hell a 'Made in Heaven' is or what it can do.

In the end, you can never truly escape your fate, no matter who you are.
