My Little Pokémon: Grander World

Hoenn. The Ranger Union. Afternoon.

The Ranger Union was promptly informed of the Diamond Domain falling. Every bit of it had been destroyed thanks to Daybreaker's attack. All that was left were the Carbink and Princess Diancie. A defeated Princess Diancie too.

"That's horrible..." The reactions from it were anything but professional. Seeing the state of it was enough to sadden someone.

"The only way for it to return to the way it was is if Diancie makes another Heart Diamond. But at this rate, her strength has been sapped away from her to the core." A Ranger commented.

"With all of that energy absorbed, who knows how strong Necroza is now?"

"That's one thing. in just an hour, Daybreaker's managed to land a lot of her machines on our world, sucking up the energy from it. How's the rest of the world doing?"

"So far, all the regions are fine at the moment. But the Solar Empire's dropped so many of their Light-absorbing items across different areas that it's hard to keep up."

"At the same time, The Legendary Birds and Beasts are the closest to Daybreaker right about now. But if they get absorbed too..."

"Do we try and stop them? Necrozma's grown even stronger than before and they could be walking into a trap of some kind. Daybreaker will probably let them all come to her."

"We can't stop them." But in one Ranger's eyes, it was pointless to try and stop them. Not when they were this determined. "The best we can do is try and stop Daybreaker, but a lot of our Rangers won't be able to reach her in time. And I doubt Daybreaker would leave her ship open for gateway openings after last time."

"I'll go." Walking up and getting the attention of the other rangers and dispatchers was Jackie. It's been a while, but he's managed to recover properly.

"Jackie! You've healed up!"

"Mhm. Next to almost being trapped in another universe or being blown out into outerspace, all of this wasn't that big of a deal to recover from." Jackie smirked. "If I take a shot at this, it may or may not end as badly as last time."

"That's exactly why you're not going!" One Dispatcher crossed her arms, shutting it down. "Too big of a risk!"

"Not that he'll stay behind anyway." Another shrugged, knowing Jackie wouldn't stay behind. "Either way, it's a mess out there. Recently, Princess Celestia's been defeated..."

"Y-You're serious?! She lost?!" That caught Jackie off guard.

"What's worse is that Necrozma brought down the Diamond Domain, absorbing the Heart Diamond. And judging by their next movement, she's going up into space again, probably to find Lunala."

Pyrestar's Universe.

All residents of Equestria were safe and sound in this universe. Until this all blows over, they were to remain here. However, not every resident of Equestria was here which was to be expected. But the ones that stuck out the most were Sweetie Belle, Apple Bloom, Diamond Tiara, Silver Spoon and Scootaloo.

They weren't present here, which prompted their respective families to start panicking. "How could we leave her behind?! I swear I saw her outside with her friends earlier!" Spoiled Rich uttered in a frenzy. Big Mac and Granny Smith felt the same way. They had full faith in Applejack to handle this, but Apple Bloom was a different story. They weren't even sure if Applejack was with Apple Bloom at the moment.

"We give her too much liberty at times! It's good that she's gotten comfortable around others but still...!" Filthy Rich would groan. He wouldn't know what he would do if anything happened to his daughter. "Please let us return! Even if it's for a few minutes!"

Applejack's family and Diamond Tiara's Family would go to the entrance, ready to head back into their universe, only to see it was shut down. No gateways were to be opened right now considering what was happening back at the main universe.

"Sorry. We can't let anyone through." The guards shook their heads, refusing to let them return.

"I-I'll pay you everything I have!" Filthy Rich pleaded, wanting his daughter to be safe. Needing to know if she was safe. "Everything!"

"Sir. Everything you have is on the other side."

Queen Pyrestar watched this from her castle, seeing the two families worry greatly for their families and for good reason. Alas, heading out there right now was too big of a risk. As she watched them, Pyretar was reminded of how Universe 1 helped her during her darkest times, bringing hope back to her universe which was once the equivalent of a desolate wasteland.

It's been at least 4 since she had the opportunity to repay the favor. It's been a while. She would turn to a guard, whispering something to him. "Go and find any way you can to locate these young ponies. I can't promise I can get them, but if they're lost, we'll do what we can to help."

Universe 1. Outskirts of Equestia.

Meanwhile, back in the main universe, and the location where Celestia and Daybreaker had their battle, the fire would continue to burn, showing no signs of being put out whatsoever. As it raged on, the bodies of the fallen Equestrian Royal Guards would be left alone, completely drained by Necrozma.

The guards were left completely forgotten. Their bodies were on the verge of being burnt to nothing at this rate with how the flames were approaching. But in a far worse position were Celestia and Passion. Deep, deep within the burning chasm, they were on the verge of their lives.

They were both lying on the ground, their bodies badly burnt from the explosion and the fire. They were surrounded by flames and had no one around to help them. The fire was spreading towards the two, reaching closer and closer to them.

Celestia was completely unresponsive, seeing nothing but darkness around her. The only one who managed to barely open her eyes was Passion, her body was severely burnt. She could feel the heat radiating from the flames, which were now dangerously close to her.

The flames were slowly moving towards her and Celestia. "G-Garde..." Passion whimpered, nudging Celestia. But she was unconscious, unable to respond. The fire was only getting closer. At this rate, she could pass out once more.

The Embrace Pokemon clenched her teeth, mustering all the strength that she could to save Celestia. "V-Voir" Gardevoir growled, her muscles shaking as her body was aching all over. The area she was in was so deep and dark yet it was lit up with flames. And yet, these flames obscured all vision, making it impossible for her to see anything.

But she had to make an attempt, otherwise, the two of them would burn. Gardevoir would grab ahold of Celestia, trying to lift her up, but she didn't have enough strength.

Her muscles were straining as she was struggling to even hold her. "N-No...!" She whispered, grunting. She was too exhausted to do anything. "Gardevoir...!" Gardevoir cried, her heart beating rapidly. The Embrace Pokemon would continue her attempt, managing to lift Celestia up.

But then, an agonizing pain would shoot through her body. Her muscles began hurting immensely, making her scream and fall back down. Her body was already strained to the limit. "Voir..!"

Passion growled, seeing the flames getting dangerously close to the two of them. The Embrace Pokemon would look over at Celestia, her heart filled with sadness and yet she would not give up. That great drive to save Celestia kept her pushing. She'd rather Celestia make it out than her.

She had already lost her daughter and was now prepared to lose the one who took care of her as if she were her own daughter. All the while, this entire area was coming apart. But right as the flames grew hotter and their intensity increased to great levels, a stream of water would pour on the flames, dousing them.

Passion and Celestia were doused as well, but the two of them were completely burnt. A figure would leap down, landing near the two of them. Passion looked up, her eyes widening, seeing how Keldeo had arrived.

"There you two are! Are you alright?!" Keldeo looked down at them. Passion and Celestia's eyes widened. Keldeo's body was covered in a bunch of scratches and his armor had some dents and cuts on it. The Water/Fighting-type was covered in some soot and ash, but he was okay.

"Garde...Gardevoir..." Passion whispered Keldeo's name, her voice barely audible. To see him here was a wonderful ray of hope. So wonderful, that Gardevoir would fall on her knees while still carrying Celestia.

Keldeo immediately helped them both, spraying a stream of water from his hooves right at the walls of this deep chasm, extinguishing the flames. The water would flow down, allowing the fire to die down and eventually put itself out.

After doing so, Keldeo would help them both move onto this flowing stream that he created, making sure it would go upwards. As the stream of water would flow up, the three would soon be free of this place, emerging from the ground as the sun shined brightly.

The Water-Fighting-Type would let out a sigh of relief, happy to have the two of them back safely. "There. That should be better. But before we go..." Keldeo then faced then the burning landscape, using Hydro Pump, putting out the fires.

Any flame that even got near the Canterlot Soldiers and their Pokemon were put out by his Hydro Pump. Soon, the flames Daybreaker had put up would be put out. Keldeo had a strong and calm look on his face as he put out all the flames.

All flames near and far would be put out by Keldeo, greatly minimizing and soon erasing any further damages. Once he was done, the flames were no longer present. Only the burnt land remained.

Keldeo would then use another powerful Hydro Pump, washing away all the soot and ash from the land. With the fires gone and the soot and ash cleared, Keldeo would return to the two ponies.

"Glad I showed up in time. After that huge Daybreaker face showed up in the sky and started speaking, me and the other swords started moving as fast as we could." Keldeo explained how she showed up here. "It's a good thing I did."

"G-Garde...Garde. Gardevoir."Groaning, Gardevoir wanted Keldeo to get Celestia somewhere she can heal right away.

"You need healing too. Look at you." The Water-Fighting-Type replied. "I can try and get you to the Unova Region using a gateway. They can heal you up. But for any hospital in Equestria for Princess Celestia, I'm not sure right now."

Due to how things are right now, it would be hard to get Celestia to a hospital that tends to someone like her. They could try a regular hopsital in the Unova Region though. Nowhere else was safe at the moment. Not with Daybreaker's invading forces.

Pegalysium.

At Pegalysium, the massive machine with tentacles was being pushed back by Ash and his friends. All thanks to Pikachu and Ampharos's electricity. All that lightning truly messed up the machine's insides and was causing it to malfunction.

"Nice! It's freaking out!" Ash cheered. "Now's our chance to finish it off!"

And the one to do it was Twilight Sparkle herself. She would charge up a lot of magic into a single point, preparing a truly powerful beam that would obliterate this machine and end this fight.

"Please land!" Twilight exclaimed, firing a powerful beam. The beam was so strong, it would hit the machine, and the machine would explode, causing a large, destructive blast that sent a bunch of smoke everywhere. That was the end of that machine as it was no longer pulling any magic from Pegalysium.

Now, the only thing the group had to do was deal with the rest of the Solar Soldiers, and that was the easier part. "We did it!" Twilight shouted, seeing the machine break down. The Solar Soldiers would look on in fear as their machine had been completely destroyed. With that done, they'd be forced to fight, but that would be easier said than done.

The machine was completely destroyed and was no longer active. Now, the only thing the group had to do was deal with the rest of the Solar Soldiers, and that was the easier part.

"We did it!" Twilight shouted, seeing the machine break down. The Solar Soldiers would look on in fear as their machine had been completely destroyed. With that done, they'd be forced to fight, but that would be easier said than done.

"Nice shot!" Ash cheered. "But we're not done yet!" The Pokemon Trainer would say, looking at the Solar Soldiers. "Come on! Let's take care of them!"

"Right!" Everyone else would agree. Froslass was already prepared to freeze them all for disturbing her home and all the Snorunt children felt the same, especially the Snorunt that befriended Shooting Star. Giving his friend such distress would not go unpunished. The Solar Soldiers were actually a bit intimidated by this. They aren't meant to feel intimidated but in the face of such powerful opponents, exceptions can be made.

"Don't even think about retreating." A transmission voice came through for each of the soldiers. It was from Sunrise Sparkle herself. "Applejack's Team is coming through, so stay where you are and support them."

Speaking of which, once the machine was dealt with, something else would move through the gateway. Ash and the others could hear a humming sound nearby, looking over their shoulders.

From the gateway, yet another large thing appeared, but it had a circular appearance to it along with having multiple limbs. It looked more magical than mechanical though as each of these limbs were glowing, moving like how a spider does. But what made up the appearance of this magical object caught them off guard. Their jaws dropped, especially Applejack's once she saw who was in the front of it all.

This object had a massive Applejack face on it. Her face blended in with the magical energy which let out a bright orange colour. And from the looks of things, the Applejack face would also have a mouth.

"Woah Nelly..." Applejack's eyes widened in horror as she saw her own face. This was obviously the Applejack of Universe 11, but she never expected her to look like this. The object would hove over the ground, giving off a noticeable heat that could be felt all the way from here.

"Wow! Applejack, it's you!" Pinkie pointed her hoof at this bizarre item, having a joyous and amazed reaction. "Look at how big your face is!"

"Is her face in some sort of essence? Just what is that thing?" Rarity had to wonder what that Applejack's face was in right now. "Twilight, do you know what that is?"

"The way that magic appears...it looks like some sort of miniature Sun." Twilight commented, her eyes narrowed. "It has its own heat too from what I can sense...but I still have no clue what it really is!"

Just then, the large Applejack face would lock onto Ash and the others, spotting them from a mile away. From the Applejack's face, a voice would come out. But it had no clarity behind it. It was hard to understand and the sound it made was rather aggressive to the ears, forcing everyone else to wince and cover their ears.

"Oh! I can't tell who's talking! Their voice is just...bleh!" Pinkie Pie cringed, covering her ears.

"And so painful...!" Fluttershy winced. And poor Audino had to take the brunt of this noise since her hearing was so much more advanced.

"A-Audino!"

"Pika!" Pikachu cringed.

"Ugh! What is wrong with this voice?! Is that even Applejack anymore?!" Twilight winced, having trouble keeping her eyes open. This sound rang across the skies of the surrounding area.

"What they'll hear is the sound of the Sun itself. A sound very few could ever hear in their life. The roars of the Sun will ring through the ears as if they were in it themselves." Sunrise Sparkle spoke while watching from the other side of the gateway. "You know what you have to do, Applejack."

Applejack could hear Sunrise from the other side. But she wouldn't say anything. This Applejack didn't sound like she could speak at all, being rather emotionless. After making that horrible sound, from the object that her was was blended in with, it would expel smaller circular spheres from its front.

Each of them would have the same shape and form, looking like tiny apples. They were all small and the size of apples, but once they would fall from the main object, they would explode upon hitting the ground. And once they blew up, they spread these glowing yellow vines across the ground.

They would expand at a rapid rate, digging through the grounds of Pegalysium, wrapping around the Snorunts, the Froslass and especially the Dynamaxed Leavanny. Each of them were stunned because of the horrible noise, leaving them vulnerable to be caught.

"LEA?!" Leavanny felt these vines around her legs, unable to move. It was a struggle to get her head free, but these vines were wrapped around her so tightly that she couldn't do much.

"Fro..." The Froslass tried reaching for the Snorunt, only for her to end up in the same predicament, wrapped in the glowing vines. The same would happen with her children. As for what these vines would do to them, after they were wrapped by them, the energy from the vines would start encasing their bodies in a yellow, glowing light.

"S-Sno! Snorunt!" The Snorunt cried out as they were the quickest to be encased thanks to this small size. The texture of the roots encased them, making glowing roots out of their shape.

"Frosss....!" The Froslass struggled, feeling the same thing happening to her. It was quick, but it was also painful. In fact, it felt like her body was melting due to the heat and Snorut had felt the same.

"W-What's happening to them?!" Fluttershy spotted this, seeing how Froslass was being restrained in such an eerie way rather quickly. The Ice-Ghost-Type did everything in her power to try and break free, but she just couldn't.

"VAN...!" For Leavanny, it would take longer since she was so massive at the moment. She felt the urge to use a Max Move to break out right about now, but she knew she had to save it for the islands. But with her size, she had the strength to resist the vines and pull her entire body free.

"Leavanny! Max Flutterby!" Rarity felt the same, deciding to end the Dynamax State with one more attack.

"LEAVAN!" After doing so, she would use Max Flutterby, holding her arms out and summoning a large swarm of glowing bugs that would swarm right at the object. They would swarm the Applejack face, attempting to attack it, only for the glowing energy bugs to burn out the second they got too close. "LEA?!" Leavanny gasped at this sight, promptly shrinking back to her original size.

After returning to normal, Leavanny would be brought back to her Poke Ball for safety. These glowing vines would continue spreading across the area, encasing whatever they could. Trees would be transformed because of this as well as other things.

The trees would be encased in a glowing light that would spread all over their bodies. Their forms would then change, turning their branches into long, flexible tendrils that would sway around. The same would happen to the other plants. They were all affected, having their forms altered by the glow.

Ash and the others were in complete disbelief, seeing this all happening before their very eyes. "W-What is this...?" He would watch as the encased Snorunt and Froslass would have their encased bodies sprout these roots as well. These roots would begin wrapping around and digging into the ground.

Very soon, they began connecting with each other. Each and everything caught by these roots would form what looked to be a connection of light branches, creating a massive, glowing spiderweb of roots across the landscape.

"This is what's going to happen to this entire nation." Sunrise Sparkle said to herself. "All those in its way will be encased, becoming apart of this great Suntree."

The glowing webs were spreading all over Pegalysium, creating a spiderweb-like appearance. Froslass and Snorunt were now a part of this Suntree, being used as weapons to restrain all those that stood in its way.

"If this keeps up, anyone left in Pegalysium will become a part of these branches! Including us!" Twilight grit her teeth before looking at the PegalysiumGiants, who were very much vulnerable thanks to their large size, making them easy to reach.

"If only we had our magic still..." One of the giants said. All they could do now was make a run for it. Immediately, they all started departing from this island once they saw the approaching branches.

The Applejack face looked at them all, promptly forcing her newly gained branches to chase them down. The giants would let out a cry, their branches reaching for them, ready to ensnare them.

"Thunderbolt!"

"Pikaa...Chuuu!" Saving them was Pikachu, who would electrocute the branches that almost got the giants. His lightning would hit the roots, shocking them, and forcing them to pull back.

"Just what did they do to their Applejack?!" Ash looked back at the Applejack face in the distance, which was noticeably starting to approach the all, hovering across the island.

"Does she even recognize any of us...?" Fluttershy said with great worry in her tone.

"I don't think so..." Applejack shook her head while galloping away. "She looked at us for a little while, but went straight to attacking us. Whatever happened to that other me, she ain't in her right mind right now. I don't think her mind's the same as it used to be in that thing."

"Maybe we can try and make her recognize us!" Pinkie Pie came to a screeching halt, deciding to see if she could make this Applejack recognize them. Even though they weren't from the same universe, maybe she could still see who they were.

"Pinkie! There's no time for that!" Twilight tried to warn Pinkie, only for Pinkie to hop right at the approaching giant Applejack. It was worth a shot.

"Hey! Applejack! Do you recognize me?!" Pinkie exclaimed, waving her hooves and jumping up and down. "It's me! Pinkie Pie!"

"..." The Applejack face gazed at her, looking at her closely. Pinkie had the slightest hint of hope, thinking she might be able to break her out of her trance. Things were silent for a moment as the vines stopped moving momentarily.

"Oh?" Ash and the others also came to a halt once they noticed this sudden halt.

"Huh?" Pinkie's smile grew. "Maybe she remembers who we are?"

"Hm?" In Universe 11, Sunrise Sparkle leaned forward, narrowing her eyes at this sudden halt. It actually caught her by surprise to see the Applejack face suddenly come to a halt in response to Pinkie Pie's actions. "She actually stopped? Don't tell me..."

"See? Same mane and everything! I bet you haven't seen this in a long time!" Pinkie Pie would flick her own playful mane. The Applejack face would gaze at her for a moment. Then, the face would tilt its head, letting out a low hum. "Yeah?"

"For her to suddenly be so still..." Sunrise muttered. "Without a doubt, she recognizes who Pinkie Pie and the others are. That much is natural. But to have this reaction to these variants. We've been to other universes before and she hasn't bat an eye to any other variant. So why now?"

"Hah! And you all thought I couldn't do something." Pinkie Pie had a proud smile while looking back at her friends.

"I guess talking works sometimes." Twilight blinked.

"Pinkie..." This Alternate Applejack's voice came through, speaking to her with a booming volume. It sounded like the Sun was speaking to her.

"Ow..." Pinkie Pie's ears were ringing, but she would manage. "Yeah, yeah! It's me! So you do recognize us! Geez. What did you do to yourself? How'd you end up like this?"

"Pinkie...Sorry about this, partner..." She suddenly apologized. "But ya'll gotta become a part of me."

"Eh?" Pinkie blinked as she was caught in a surprise attack. A root burst from below, grabbing her

"Pinkie?!" Everyone cried out, but the damage was done. Pinkie Pie was caught by the surprise attack.

"Ow-ow!" Pinkie was encased by the glowing root, being dragged away as her body was completely covered in it. "Wait, wait! You didn't answer my question! What did you do to yourself?!"

"Sorry about this...but for Queen Daybreaker, it's gotta be this way." Applejack coldly said. "It'll all be better if we're together. Just like me and my family."

"Y-Your family?!" The implications behind that were terrifying. It sounded like Applejack had encased her family as well. Pinkie Pie was being encased just like the others, flailing her front hooves around while wailing like crazy. "Waaaagh!"

"Frenzy Plant!" The Main Applejack yelled, having Sceptile take action quickly.

"Scep...Tile!" Digging his hands into the ground, he'd cause a bunch of roots to erupt from the ground and rushing straight for Pinkie. The roots grabbed ahold of Pinkie Pie, trying to pull her back towards the giant object, only for the Applejack's branches to grab ahold of them and forcefully pull her back. "Tile!"

It soon became a struggle, both Applejack and Sceptile were pulling at each other with the intent of bringing Pinkie to their respective sides. Pinkie was helpless as she was being pulled in both directions. "I-I'm not a rope!"

"Let her go! What's the matter with you?!" Applejack bellowed at her variant. "No way you and I are the same pony!"

"You wouldn't understand." The Alternate Applejack coldly said. "But the world will be a better place when everypony is together."

"I ain't against that, but no way you're about to trap my friends!" Applejack grizzled her teeth. "And what did you do to your family?!"

"A part of me. Just like how you'll be with me." The Alternate Applejack confirmed it. She indeed encased her own family members and made them branches as well, shocking the main Applejack.

"W-What the-?! No...no way...!" Applejack's jaw dropped, realizing that the other her did indeed encase her own family. "So that's it?! You turned yourself into some sort of freak just to take your family away from you?! Is that what you call love?!

"Love? Love. There is no greater love than the love I have for my family. Love is everything."

"Then what do ya call turning your family into branches of the Suntree?! I don't know what happened in your universe, but I'm gonna knock some sense into you!"

"You're only saying that because of what's happening now...But if you were there..." The Alternate Applejack believed that because of what happened in her Universe, this was the right way. There was no other way. The Main Applejack begged to differ, which created this clash.

The two of them eyed each other down. One was absolutely furious and needing answers as to why she's done this and the other, completely cold and lacking much emotion.
