Dark Matter Prevails, However...

Outer Space.

As Necrozma floated in outer space, away from the ships and Mewtwo, he was currently recovering from the devastating Dark Pulse that he received. The attack did way more damage than he expected, leaving him bewildered and stagged. As he moved across the starry skies, his vision was focused on the lights all around him.

The stars themselves.

Lights everywhere, so distant from here, reminding him of why he was doing all of this. To reach his true power and end his illness. He would then look back down at the planet, the moon, and the many planets and solar systems surrounding him.

There was an immense amount of light here, too. The Sun, the Earth, the Moon, and everything else, there was no lack of light, even though some were hidden.

The world was full of light.

His eyes would glow as he stared at the bright, blinding, yet beautiful, lights, taking in the sight. The darkness was not the answer. The light was.

He could absorb it and make it his.

And the greatest source of light that many know is the Sun itself. That glorious star that shines down on Earth and its inhabitants.

That is what he wanted. That kind of light. To be cured and to be at full power again would be the ultimate form of happiness for him without any equal. Necrozma himself doubted that he would ever achieve such a thing, but becoming Daybreaker's Pokemon has proven that the chance of that becoming a reality was high.

It was within his grasp.

Though his body felt weak right now, Necrozma was gradually beginning to recover as he was aiming to get back into action. But specifically, targeting the Sun itself. However, before he could even so such a thing, he remembered something Daybreaker told him a while back.

"You may have the power to absorb any light to the fullest, but as you are, it's safe enough for you to take a huge source of it. Not yet, anyways. The Sun's too much for you. Taking it will take you on a rampage that we may never be able to temper you from because of your condition. Not even the amount of Fairy Matter we have could calm you down."

Those words echoed within his mind. Was it worth the risk? Even if Necrozma was willing to attempt such a feat, he would have to wonder. His desire for the Sun's light is unbearable, and his current state was not good. He's already had some rampages after absorbing great sources of light, recalling them vividly.

"I don't think I'd be able to fulfil my promise if that happens. This amount of Fairy Matter is all we have right now and I'm not sure if we'd have enough to stop you if you truly lose it. And who knows what Dragon Matter will do to you? So try to be more careful next time, okay?"

Necrozma was actually hoping not to go through that scenario again. Mainly for Daybreaker's sake. To him, the fact that she was willing to do this all for him was amazing. The idea of her caring for him and wanting to help him made him happy.

And not once did he believe that she was deceiving him.

If he were to go all out, would she even be able to stop him? Would the others be able to? He did not want to fight her, nor did he have the will to, either. As Necrozma contemplated it all, her suddenly heard a voice rush through the cosmos itself. It was Daybreaker's voice, elevated by the Royal Canterlot Voice, reaching out to him.

Hearing her voice, Necrozma knew he had to return. Not with even more light, but with the power he had now that allowed him to stay in control. Because as long as he is in control, there's a possibility he can get more, and if he can't, Daybreaker can.

With his muscles twitching, Necrozma would start recovering, heading back towards the Solar Empire's ship. He started flying to the best of his speeds, accelerating more and more by expending more light energy within him.

Necrozma wasn't about to let himself lose here. Not when this much progress has been made. Not even the World's Strongest Pokemon would be enough to stop his dedication to completing his goal.

Back on Earth, just as Daybreaker ordered, the Solar Empire would make sure no one else would enter outer space. Any spacecraft would be intercepted and destroyed, whether it's from the Ranger Union, the International Police, a private organization, or someone who had the technology and the knowledge to travel there.

The way this was done was with Captain Sptifire's ships all releasing concentrated beams of light into a single point, forming a barrier that was similar to the cosmic flame. The energy and power was the same, preventing anyone from coming or going.

The barrier would form once the beams converged as it started spreading rapidly across the atmosphere. And the moment the barrier was up, the beam was shot, and it's spread was quick.

And as the barrier was created, a massive wave of heat was emitted, causing the sky and the air itself to change. Residents of Johto would be the first to see this expanding barrier that coloured the azure skies a deep orange with a hint of red. The colour change would cause people to panic, worried and concerned.

In a span of just 10 minutes, people would gather at the cities, the towns, and the roads, trying to figure out what was happening. They had a feeling this had something to do with the invasion taking place, the one where they've seen a large fleet descend upon the land and attack various places.

Many locations in Johto would be covered in this massive barrier in just a few minutes as it would then continue spreading. After all, Daybreaker wanted to make sure that absolutely no one else can follow her to space. The only exceptions were any ships associated with the Solar Empire.

As all of Johto would be covered in this massive barrier, other regions would be next up. Kanto and Hoenn, too. And from there, the barrier would spread to the rest of the world gradually.

All this progress in just a span of 20 minutes.

This was not only a precaution but a message to the world that the Solar Empire was truly here and showed just how powerful their technology was. This barrier was an impressive feat, and the heat emitted was not even hot enough to melt anything.

Even with the sky changing colour, no damage was being done. This was simply a demonstration.

Once the entire world was gradually being encased in this dome-shaped barrier, the barrier would grow thicker and more intense, becoming a solid wall that would keep anyone from even attempting to escape.

The Ranger Union, Silpho Co, and other major organizations focused on technology took notice of this barrier's appearance, trying to figure out how and why this was happening.

Meanwhile, the International Police and Interpol have also taken note. With the barrier up, all their communication signals are being blocked, making it impossible to send a message anywhere.

And as the barrier continued expanding, the atmosphere would shift and the skies would change, the blue turning into a dark shade of purple. It was like a tint had been placed over the world. And while the regions were being covered in this, so was Equestria. Its beautiful blue skies were now covered by this tint, a sign that they were being enclosed.

The soldiers of Equestria raised their heads, seeing the sudden change. All the while the Solar Soldiers battling against them smiled, knowing what this meant. Seeing this as well were Twilight and her friends who were rushing to the gateway that would take them to Alola's Hau'oli City.

Ash groaned while being carried by Soarin's Corviknight, staring up at the barrier, recognizing the energy behind it. When seeing it, he was still trusting in his friends to get to Alola as soon as possible.

Speaking of which, up ahead, they spotted that very gateway in the distance, ready for use. They kept moving as fast as they could, the goal to Alola seemingly within their sights. However, that was when something got in their way. One of the Solar Empire's ships. Three of them had shown up, flying in front of the gateway, blocking the path.

"You're in our way! Move!" Twilight exclaimed, throwing a Poke Ball into the air and summoning her Absol. "Absol, Night Slash!"

Absol would zoom towards the enemy ships, his horn enveloped in darkness. He slashed his horn downwards, sending a slash of dark-type energy towards one of the ships, hoping to get them out of the way.

But as the attack struck the ship, the crew's shield was up, allowing them to block the attack. The slash faded, showing how futile that attempt was. But Absol wasn't about to stop there.

"Audi! Use Hyper Beam!" Fluttershy got involved.

"Audi...No!" From her hands, Audino would materialize and unleash a powerful beam, aiming at the other two ships. The beam would hit one of the vessels, knocking them slightly off balance.

"Castform! Hurricane!"

"Cast!" Emerging from Rainbow Dash's saddlebag, Castform would hold his breath and release a gale of wind, sending it towards the remaining ship. A fierce wind would disrupt the balance of the ships, causing them to wobble.

"Ab...Sol!" And then along came Absol, slashing the ships multiple times, the horn of the Disaster Pokemon leaving marks. The ships had parts of them come off thanks to these slashes, the attacks dealing a bit of damage. With that, the ships would fall to the side, giving them a clear way.

The group immediately moved onwards, approaching the gateway once more, ready to enter and head to Alola. As they were about to make their way inside, Twilight suddenly sensed something behind her.

A sharp aura.

And as the sense came, a beam was fired, a blazing white and hot blast. This attack would strike the ground, creating a devastating explosion. Everyone jumped away, narrowly dodging the blast. The smoke cleared and the ground was charred, the grass was burned.

It was yet another machine that was in hiding, ready to surprise the intruders. This time, this machine appeared as a massive robotic serpent, hissing and coiling up, baring its fangs. The eyes were glowing, staring right at the group. This serpent slithered onwards, ready to bite into them.

"Absol! Giga Impact!"

"Absol...!" Absol growled at the serpent, his body lighting with a white energy as he lunged forward. The snake hissed and lunged, both clashing with each other. The collision created a shockwave, and the force was felt. Both were sent flying back. Absol slid on the ground, his claws leaving a trail.

"You're wasting our time here!" Rainbow Dash would throw one of her Poke Balls out, aggravated by the Solar Empire. "Go! Zeraora!"

"Zeraora!"

"Plasma Fists!"

"Zeraora!" The Thunderclap Pokemon would charge towards the giant robot, her fists sparking with electricity. She would deliver a series of electrifying high-speed punches, striking the metallic hide and the plating. Zeraora's claws would leave scratches on the surface, her attacks making contact. Not only that, she was also messing with its circuits thanks to all this electricity.

The machine was having trouble, its systems and functions starting to glitch. "Ze...RA!" Zeraora then delivered one last hit, unleashing a powerful uppercut with a ton of plasma behind it. The head of the serpent was knocked clean off, revealing the pilot inside who was immediately started as the head would spin in the air.

"Uhh...!" The pilot freaked out, immediately jumping out of the machine and running for it, scared for his life. That was another machine down and they were hoping they wouldn't have to deal with another. Lo and behind, in the distance, they could already hear some more of the approaching.

They didn't have time to deal with that, so they continued onwards. Each of them passed through the gateway, the portal's entrance activating and showing the view of the other side.

And as soon as they passed through it, to prevent the ships from entering Alola, Twilight would face the ships and fire a blast of magic, her horn glowing a bright purple. Her magic was aimed at the gateway, which would be altered and warped, the opening now closing.

Her magic would seal the gateway, preventing the ships and any machines from following after them. Now, the pathway to Alola has been cut off, and they were alone. Twilight and her friends had arrived the Hau'oli Beachfront at night. Now that they were here, it was off to Poni Island, where the Altar of the Sunne could be found.

But even when arriving here, the barrier had already shown up in Alola. With the arrival of the barrier, the citizens of Alola were confused, surprised, and terrified. Even the Kahuna's have witnessed the tint covering the sky. They were worried, especially since the island was under threat by something far larger than them.

Kukui, Burnet, and Lei were also affected by the barrier, the professor and his wife holding onto each other and their son, hoping for the best. Their home and the rest of Alola were safe for the time being, and all they could do was wait.

Equestria. Out at a Lakeside.

Meanwhile, Applejack, Rarity and the Wonderbolts stood before Sunrise Sparkle and the Suntree Applejack, the two sides already at it. At this very moment, the Golett were doing what they could to buy Delta Lucario enough time to charge up his Dark Matter attack, which was potentially the key to expelling others from the Suntree

Sunrise was standing beside the tree, her eyes on her enemies.

"Milotic! Hydro Pump! Froslass! Blizzard!"

"Milooo!" Both Milotic and Froslass were quick to unleash a high-volume blast of water and a frenzy of snow and ice, the attacks merging into a single attack, the water freezing the snow and turning into an icy-water mixture.

This attack approached the Suntree, attempting to freeze it, even though the Suntree's light generated a heat strong enough to hold them back. Despite this, the trees were starting to lose their colour, their leaves beginning to drop and wither.

The Suntree was being weakened, still being a tree at the end of the day.

"Milotic! Froslass, again!" Rarity would try that approach once more, making sure the Suntree was as weakened as possible. But as soon as they did a second combination, Sunrise Sparkle intercepted it. Her magic would neutralize the Hydro Pump and Blizard, sending a great blaze that evaporated the water and melted the snow.

Sunrise Sparkle, despite being one, was very much troublesome with her magic. With a smirk, she looked up to see how the Wonderbolts had all their aerial Pokemon try and subdue her. Spitfire's Scizor could be seen approaching with Bullet Punch.

"Scizor!" The Bug-Steel-type's arms would glow a crimson red as he would throw a barrage of punches, his limbs moving in a flurry. Sunrise Sparkle used her magic to temporarily phase through the strikes, taking flight and distancing herself from Scizor. "Zor?!"

"Hurricane!" Misty Fly had her Talonflame flap his wings and unleash a stormy wind, the force being directed right at Sunrise. The branches protected Sunrise Sparkle, gathering up with tons of thicket to create a shield, defending her.

"Golett! Shadow Punch!"

"Gol!" All 12 Goletts would hold their hands out, generating shadow constructs of their fist that would fly out and slam into the barrier, breaking it. After breaking the barrier, the Goletts went to grab the Suntree's branches, attempting to restrain it.

The branches were gripped and restrained, the Pokemon trying their hardest to pull the Suntree away. The ground underneath would be lifted, the roots of the Suntree would struggle and try to pull away, but the strength of the Golett was keeping them at bay.

"Sceptile! Leaf Blade!"

"Tile!" While the Suntree's Branches were temporarily held back, Sceptile would lunge in, his blades glowing a bright green. With a swift slice, the leaves and branches were severed, the sharp edges cutting through the wood like butter.

"Rrrr...!" Delta Lucario kept building up the Dark Matter as in his paws, a large sphere of black energy was slowly being formed, his power rising. It was almost done, and once it was, he was going to launch it directly at the Suntree. Energies from the corners of the Universe kept piling into this one attack, even from the darkest reaches, the shadows itself, the dark energies were added, the powers combined.

Applejack would look down, watching the Golett and Sceptile struggling with the Suntree's branches. Even though they were managing, they were so plentiful and abundant. Even with the Wonderbolts, it was still a struggle thanks to Sunrise Sparkle's interference.

But she was confident in Delta Lucario, seeing him and the ball of energy being charged. She could feel the energy being released from that Dark Matter, and the longer it took, the greater its potential would be.

"Ah...This isn't doing it!" A frustrated Rarity groaned, struggling to keep the Suntree steady for Lucario to have a clear opening. That was when she faced Spitfire, having something in mind. "Do you think you could send out your own, Froslass, Spitfire?!"

"My own? Sure!" Spitfire already knew what Rarity was going for. "Froslass! Go, girl!"

"Froslass!" A second Froslass would emerge, joining the party.

"Together! Blizzard!" Rarity and Spitfire collectively cried out to their respective Froslass.

"Lasssss...!" The Ghost-Ice type Pokemon would float towards each other, releasing a stormy blizzard together, the winds colliding and intensifying. The combined blizzards grew bigger, stronger, and fiercer, the winds growing wild and violent, the cold becoming colder.

The two would unleash the storms at the tree, the cold wind and ice coming into contact. The blizzard was unleashed and the Suntree would attempt to fight back, raising the temperature, but the combined force of the Froslass' blizzards was overpowering, the temperatures were lowering, and the tree's heat was decreasing.

The leaves were withering and dying, and the tree was being covered in a layer of frost. Its temperature was dropping, and the Suntree was starting to shiver, the sun's rays becoming less effective, its heat weakening. Even Sunrise Sparkle was beginning to feel this powerful chill, the tree's body and the grass beneath her starting to freeze.

"Why you...!" She stepped back, her hooves freezing to the ground, and the air around her became frigid. Sunrise's flames would grow, trying to warm her, but the ice and frost were managing to just barely power through, the coldness seeping through the flames.

"Nice one! Alright, Scizor! Use X-Scissor!"

"Zor!" Along came Scizor to land a heavy hit while the iron was hot. He charged forwards and flew in, his arms glowing a bright white. The Bug and Steel-type would swing his arms at Sunrise, but the princess was ready even with her hooves frozen. Her eyes would flash as she generated a blinding light, causing Scizor's eyes to sting.

"You're all starting to get on my nerves...!" Sunrise Sparkle was starting to show some irritation as she managed to eventually melt the ice around her hooves. And after she did so, she unleashed a beam of incredible heat and a wide radius at the group, the force tearing up the ground.

The two Froslass found themselves being met with this attack first, their bodies burning up just by it approaching. "F-Fross!" The duo cried out, receiving the hit as the beam engulfed them. Talonflame tried stopping it with Hurricane, only for the flames to overpower that as well, eventually engulfing the Fire-Flying-Type and dealing damage.

"Sceptile! Stop it with Dragon Pulse!"

"Milotic, use Hydro Pump!"

"Sceptile!" Together, Sceptile and Milotic would attack the beam with a dragon-shaped attack and a stream of water. But the power behind the attack was overwhelming, their efforts not enough. "T-Tile...!" And yet, the two of them were managing to hold it back.

"Lotic...!"

"They won't be able to overpower that thing..." Spitfire would return her Froslass, promptly switching her out for another Pokemon. "Go! Gallade!"

"Gallade!"

"Cut that beam in half with Psycho Cut! Scizor, join him with X-Scizzor!"

"Lade!" Two of Spitfire's Pokemon would work in unison to break down Sunrise's beam. The Psychic-Fighting-Type would move in and swing his blades, the glowing swords cutting through the flames and slicing it apart. "Gallade...!" Gallade would grunt, his muscles flexing as the pressure was getting to him.

"Scizor! Zor!" Scizor would assist the Psychic-Fighting-Type, their blades clashing against the intense flame, cutting it in half. With their combined strength, they managed to cut the attack in half, the beam splitting.

After they cut it in half, it allowed Dragon Pulse and Hydro Pump to go through and hit Sunrise's blazing aura, pushing her back. Once her concentration was disrupted, the beam was cancelled, and the fires surrounding the area would die down.

"Grrr...!" Sunrise groaned, her coat slightly burnt, her hair frazzled a bit. It was her blazing aura that shielded her from most of the damage.

"Lucario! Now!" Applejack called to her partner, and Lucario was ready, his attack fully charged.

"L-Lucario...!" Delta Lucario groaned, feeling a surge of power within him. The sphere was now larger than ever, and with a grunt, Lucario would take aim, throwing the massive ball of dark-type energy forward. "Ca!"

It flew across the sky and straight towards the tree, the darkness within the ball growing and growing. An attack of pure Dark Matter was approaching the Suntree, having a size large enough to engulf it and possibly the entire forest if it were not stopped. The Suntree and Sunrise Sparkle collectively gasped as this was nothing to scoff at. The Suntree, still having parts of it frozen, would use some of its branches to try and block or intercept the incoming attack.

"I won't let you win that easily!" Sunrise's eyes would glow as the Suntree's leaves would fly upwards and surround the massive attack, forming a barrier. This did not deter the attack, however, as it would continue flying forward, the branches and leaves acting as a shield.

As the attack continued travelling, it would soon strike the Suntree, the impact instantly interacting with the entirety of the Suntree, from the inside and the outside.

"Haah...Aaah!" The Suntree Applejack most definitely felt it as the Dark Matter did exactly what the others hoped it would do. The insides of the Suntree involved all those who have been possessed by the Suntree's seeds, such as Applejack's friends and her family.

The Dark Matter targeted the creatures that were originally the cause of all of this, and the moment the Dark Matter attacked the Suntree, the entities were exposed and the seed's influence would finally be attacked after all these years.

Everyone watched as the Suntree was aggressively pulsating and bulging from every side, frizzling and jittering as the dark-type energy was running through it. It was attacking the roots, the leaves, the bark, the insides, and the seeds, and the Suntree's body was not about to give in without a fight.

"Come on, work...!" Applejack bit her lip, hoping the effects would come. The fact that the Suntree was freaking out in such a way meant that the Dark Matter was certainly effective, but it remains to be seen if it could free anyone from its control.

The Dark Matter continued striking the tree, the spheres of dark energy would then split into more spheres, continuing to travel through the Suntree, the black orbs penetrating the leaves and the wood, spreading across the surface.

And then, with a powerful howl, it happened, three bodies were suddenly ejected from the Suntree, emerging from one of the branches. The three in question being the Granny Smith, Apple Bloom and Big Macintosh of Universe 11.

Applejack gasped upon seeing them as Sceptile would quickly lunged through the air, catching all three of them before they could hit the ground. After being caught, they were immediately taken away from the Suntree, which was still under attack by the Dark Matter.

"It worked...It worked!" An ecstatic Applejack cheered, her excitement rising. Dark Matter truly worked as the remaining particles inside wer still going to work. And with the Suntree Applejack howling, it would unleash one more pony. That being Pinkie Pie.

"Waaaagh!" Pinkie Pie screeched as she was still conscious while being ejected, her body and mind were in a state of shock. She would hit the ground, groaning. "Oooh...Nice save."

"Kh." Sunrise Sparkle kissed her teeth, visibly annoyed and irritated by this. More and more ponies were being launched out of the Suntree fom various directions. As more were leaving, the Dark Matter would keep the Suntree restrained and weak, giving everyone else a chance. But eventually, all the Dark Matter ran out, the particles fizzling out right afterwards.

The Suntree was heavily affected, its leaves and branches were gone and wilted, its trunk was damaged and its bark was peeling off. There were many holes in various places and the Suntree itself was barely standing.

"Ugh..." The Suntree Applejack groaned, blinking a bit as it had especially affected her. She then looked at the others in front of her, rather bewildered. In that instance, she said something that surprised them. ."Ya'll...Help me..."

"What?" Spitfire blinked, the rest looking the same. Based on what they heard, it sounded as if the Suntree Applejack asked for their help. That Dark Matter was far more effective than expected, temporarily weakening the Suntree enough that her mind, which was not in its right state, was briefly interacted with.

"Alright, that's enough!" Sunrise Sparkle stepped in front of them, her hoof smashing the ground. "I'll give you all your props. You've done well to make it this far. I'm sure Daybreaker would be impressed, but this is as far as you all go."

"Pssh! As if! We're making great progress here!" A Wonderolt giggled.

"We're not giving up now!" Applejack smirked, ready for a final standoff. "One more Dark Matter should do the trick! Way bigger than before!"

"I'll try and get them to safety." Rarity offered to get the four of them somewhere safe as Sceptile passed them over to her Milotic, placing them on the Water-Type's back. Rarity would leave the rest to them all, leaving with Milotic while recalling her Froslass.

"This is our chance." Applejack faced her Lucario. "Lucario, do it. Get the biggest one possible."

"Not this time." But Sunrise Sparkle forbid it, shaking her head. "I'll admit, I saw you all as threats, but not specifically each of you. It was my fault for thinking without your main group, you'd be easier to defeat. I was wrong."

"Huh?"

"But not this time. I won't make that mistake again." Sunrise Sparkle closed her eyes, taking a deep breath. Just then, the Sun above them would start humming all of a sudden, its rays shining brighter.

"Hey, what's up with the Sun?" Spitfire's voice started to waver, watching the Sun. The others did too, and they were worried.

"What are ya planning, huh?" Applejack scowled, not knowing what was coming. But Sunrise Sparkle said nothing, simply staying there as the Sun would increase in brightness. The light would become overwhelming and the skies would be illuminated by a bright light.

And as the light expanded, Applejack felt a sudden shock to her body, and the rest did, too. Their bodies were tingling and their vision was becoming a blur. "What the heck is this?" She grunted, feeling something coming.

All of their bodies would start blurring all of a sudde and their surroundings would begin to blend together, the world around them slowly disappearing.

"Wh-what the?!" Spitfire stammered, unable to understand what was happening. Everyone else was starting to have their bodies blur aggressively, their visions were becoming distorted. They were losing their minds and their thoughts were beginning to fade.

"Only under a Sun Daybreaker herself moves can I pull this off. Right now, you're all experiencing a spatial shift under the Sun. Your bodies will be greatly affected by the spacetime distortion. And from it, you'll all be trapped in a vegetative state. Your bodies present on the outside, but your mind and everything will be inbetween spacetime itself.

"Sp-space-time!?" One of the Wonderbolts exclaimed, her eyes widening. "You can't be serious, right?"

"Oh, I'm dead serious." Sunrise's smile was wide, and her eyes were menacing. "In other words, you'll all be completely defenceless, and even though you're aware of your bodies, you won't be able to respond. If you're lucky, you might even experience a comatose. Though, I doubt it'll be the case for you lot. Don't worry though. You'll become fuel for Necroza by the end of it all."

"N-Not like this...!" Applejack tried moving, but she couldn't. Her body was no longer responding and her legs were stuck in place, her entire body stiff. Sceptle would suffer the same fate, unable to fight back against this light. The Wonderbolts and their Pokemon would also be caught by it.

All of them found their bodies not being able to move, and no matter how hard they tried, their efforts were in vain. With no escape, their minds and their senses were beginning to shut down. One by one, their minds were being sent to spacetime, and their bodies were left behind.

Applejack would be the last to have her mind be sent elsewhere as she looked at Sunrise Sparkle. As she tried raising her hoof, it happened. Her mind went blank, and her vision was cut.

Sunrise Sparkle would watch the scene with a triumphant look, her job was complete. She would face the Suntree which was greatly weakened, unable to do anything at the moment due to how much the Dark Matter messed it up. Kangaskhan would soon fall under the same effect, her mind going blank and trapped in spacetime. But even then, she was still keeping the island up.

"Hmph. I've wasted enough time here. I'll need to return at once."

Afterwards, Sunrise would order an immediate opening a gateway back to Universe 11, ready to leave with the unconscious bodies away. With the Suntree no longer able to act that moment, she would have to send it back so that it can recover from all that Dark Matter. However, she would leave Dynamax Kangaskhan here, finding her a bit too big to bring over at the moment. A bigger gateway will be needed for her once this one is closed

With the portal being opened, Sunrise would emerge on the other side, returning to her home. The Suntree would be sucked back in and the portal would close. However, despite everything falling silent and the only one remaining here being Dynamax Kangaskhan who was too big to take, someone managed to avoid the spell Sunrise Sparkle cast.

It was the Baby Kangaskhan in the pouch, otherwise known as Li'l Kanga. She shielded herself by hiding deep within her mother's fur, avoiding the sun's rays. With her mother's mind no longer responding, Li'l Kanga was freed, and when she peeked out, she was all alone. Still in her Dynamaxed state too. Since her mother hadn't used a move in her Dynamaxed state, she stayed in this gigantic form and the same went for the baby who was also bigger than ever.

The Baby Pokemon sniffled, tears forming. She was alone and didn't know where to go. She just wanted her mama. But the giant kangaroo wasn't there, and no one else was either. Even so, Li'l Kanga knew that it wasn't hopeless. After all, Rarity managed to get away from here before the worst could happen, meaning that she may not be too far away.

Li'l Kanga, despite being scared, was motivated. She would jump out of the pouch, and onto the ground. And then, she would run. She was hoping to find her in time, or at the very least, some help. And as she would run to try and reach Rarity to inform her, high in the skies, a large glint went off, filled with cosmic sparkles that were faintly visible.

Something significant had happened in outer space.

As the journey continues.
