The Human World. Local Shopping Mall. Nightfall.

It was late at night here at the local mall. The Cutie Mark Crusaders, Diamond Tiara and Cozy Glow found themselves here, searching for Silver Spoon based on what Diamond Tiara told them.

They were walking down the hallway, the corridors and walkways filled with no one here since it was so late. The three would occasionally call her name, hoping to get her attention.

"Silver?! Where are you?!" Scootaloo would say, her voice echoing through the halls.

"Come out, come out, wherever you are!" Sweetie would shout.

"If you're not gonna come out, then we're gonna have to go and find you!" Apple Bloom called.

"H-Hey, wait for us, girls!" Scootaloo shouted, the Crusaders running further into the mall. They were trying to follow the scent of the perfume, following the smell wherever it led. The mall was empty and the trio didn't see anyone as they moved.

Eventually, the trail would lead them upstairs, to the second floor and still nothing and no one. Everyone else was asleep and the shops were closed.

"Do you think the others have a clue as to where she is?" Sweetie questioned, unsure about their plan.

"Well, she could be anywhere, couldn't she?"

"Mmrgh...I hope so. Otherwise, I don't know where else we could look. But, if anythin', at the very least, she couldn't have gone too far. At most, the mall and maybe the outskirts, but definitely not too far." Apple Bloom tried to stay positive.

"Hmmm..." Scootaloo grumbled, holding onto her head and digging deep into her mind. All the while, Cozy Glow, who actually knew what happened to Silver Spoon, watched them while having a ball of Fairy Matter in her hands, concealing it.

This looked to be a golden opportunity for her. After all, she was the one who had captured Silver Spoon and her Purguly, turning them into spheres of Fairy Matter. Now, it was time for the Cutie Mark Crusaders and Diamond Tiara to end up the same.

"Ah! This might take forever!" Scootaloo bellowed, rustling her hair. "Let's just split up and cover some more ground! She has to be here somewhere!"

Deciding on that, the group would take different paths in this mall, spreading apart.

Scootaloo would head to the left, and Diamond Tiara and Apple Bloom would go to the right. Sweetie would go down the middle, the three of them looking for their missing friend. Cozy Glow was left there, watching the girls leave, and she had a sly look on her face.

"Alright. So, who will be the first to end up as Fairy Energy for Necrozma? Diamond Tiara or Apple Bloom? Or maybe the little orange pegasus? Let's see. Either way, I'll have my pick."

The purple filly would use her magic to send her Fairy Ball flying, the object would be thrown and roll down the floor, following after Apple Bloom and Diamond Tiara.

Cozy Glow would have the two spheres she had already captured inside her pockets, being Silver Spoon and Purugly.

"Oh, I wonder what will happen if someone finds her. Will the others come and try to save her?" It made Cozy Glow all giddy to see this plan through. However, since she's been out in this world for so long, she's done more than just capture Silver Spoon and Purugly. In her bag, multiple Fairy Matter Spheres were actually present.

Each of them from different parts of town that Cozy Glow managed to transform into spheres, including the mall itself as mall security could be seen in there. Cozy Glow had no problem capturing and trapping everyone who worked at the mall and had been there the day this occurred.

"So, let's see." Cozy Glow would start counting her spoils. "There's the mall, the police, the people living in their houses, the citizens in the streets, the kids, the parents, the teachers, the principals, the students, the janitors, the gardeners, the cooks, the construction workers, the mailmen, the shopkeepers, and the rest."

"Mm-hmm." Cozy hummed, tapping her chin. "That's a lot. But, that's why I have all of this. Daybreaker's going to be so proud of me when I come back with all of this!" She squeed before putting her hands over her mouth, keeping quiet.

"Now, then. Let's see. Who shall I turn next?" But as soon as she turned around, she was met with the face of Apple Bloom. Everything froze as the two made eye contact. Cozy Glow blinked for a moment, realizing that she had accidentally blown her cover with all that talking and hearing it was Apple Bloom.

"You...It's you!" Apple Bloom pointed at Cozy Glow.

"Huh?!" That got the young filly panicking, quickly thinking of a way to explain herself.

"You're the one responsible for kidnapping Silver Spoon and everypony else, ain't ya?"

"Ugh. Fine, fine." Cozy Glow put her arms up as she couldn't think of something at all. "You got me. Yes. It's true. A great haul too. That's almost like getting a bunch of candy Nightmare Night or what humans call Halloween. Hehe."

"Cozy Glow, why?!" Apple Bloom was trying to understand it. How could a fellow classmate and student do this.

"Why? Well, I'm glad no one figured it out soon enough. Then again, I never made it all that clear. Truth is..." With a devious grin, she pointed at herself and proudly stated, "I'm with Daybreaker. You could even say, I'm a part of her group.

"A part of Daybreaker's group?"

"Yup." Cozy Glow giggled. "Proud too. I'm part of an empire, even if I don't actually live there. Either way, I work with Daybreaker and right now, while she's doing her own thing, I'm making sure I do my best to get Necrozma to full strength. In turn, making Daybreaker proud of me."

"You mean...You're gonna make everyone in there food for Necrozma?!"

"Exactly." Cozy Glow smiled.

"But, but, why?" Apple Bloom didn't know what to say.

"Pssh. I don't have to tell you." Cozy Glow scoffed. "All you need to know is that pretty soon, I'm gonna be sitting pretty while all of you end up losing to Necrozma."

"How could ya even do such a thing!?"

"Whatever. Just hold still!" She then prepared to use the orb of Fairy Matter on her, but Apple Bloom recalled how it works if she stares right in the energy. Quickly, she shielded her eyes before taking out her Xtransceiver, using the phone function to take a picture.

"Gotcha!" Apple Bloom exclaimed.

"Gah! My eyes!" Cozy Glow screeched, the flash hurting her vision.

Apple Bloom smirked, feeling her plan had worked. She then quickly went to call one of her friends, tapping on Sweetie Belle's Trainer Number. However, Cozy Glow, while squinting her flashed eyes, would act quickly, approaching Apple Bloom. The little sister of Apple Bloom looked to the side as Cozy Glow would grab onto her Xtransceiver, trying to rip it out of her hands.

"L-Let go!" Apple Bloom stammered, trying to hold the Xtransceiver back. The two of them started struggling, trying to gain control over the Xtransceiver. Apple Bloom was not letting her have the device, not wanting to let her contact any of her friends.

"Hand it over! You'll ruin everything!" Cozy Glow retorted, not liking this. She didn't want any of the other Crusaders or the adults to know, and since Apple Bloom found out, there was no doubt the rest would discover the truth sooner or later.

"Never!"

"Grr...!" The two continued struggling, fighting over the Xtransceiver. But Apple Bloom had an advantage even as a human. That Earth Pony strength.

"Hah!" She cackled after managing to pull it back.

"Earth Pony strength...!" Cozy Glow growled, promptly using the power of the Fairy Matter for another use. She would use it slightly improve her own strength, going back to grab the device. Thus, the struggle was back on, this time, with Cozy Glow matching her strength.

Eventually, the struggle would become so intense, the device would be yanked from both sides, and the result was Apple Bloom's Xtransceiver being broken into two pieces, the screen shattering and the internal parts coming loose.

"No!" Apple Bloom was horrified, staring at her broken Xtransceiver. "My Xtransceiver's busted...!"

"Good." Cozy Glow would throw the remnants of the Xtransceiver aside. That be at least one problem out of the way for her. Apple Bloom would have to resort to telling them directly instead of calling them. "Now, what to do with you?"

Quickly, Apple Bloom took off, attempting to find her friends in this large mall. The building was huge and there were plenty of places she could hide, especially from Cozy Glow.

"Get back here, you!" Cozy Glow groaned, starting her chase. Apple Bloom had her run, sprinting through the mall's walkway. There were no witnesses, and the place was practically deserted. Holding her bag out, Cozy Glow decided to try and catch her with some assistance. And that involved the many people and Pokemon she's managed to capture.

She took a Fairy Matter Sphere out, holding it up to summon the Pokemon inside. "With this, I can do more than just capture them. They're under my command now!" Cozy Glow giggled, sending the sphere flying, rolling across the ground.

"What the-" Apple Bloom skidded to a halt, seeing a Golisopod coming out of the Fairy Matter Sphere. She was confused as she had no idea how a Pokemon came out of that orb of all things. It was like it's own Poke Ball in a way.

"Get her!"

"Goli!" Golispod whimered but had no choice but to do so. It clearly didn't wish to act on Cozy Glow's command and yet the Fairy Matter influenced it. Golisopod would lunge towards the young pony, and Apple Bloom was taken aback.

"Geeeh!" Apple Bloom frantically moved to the side, barely avoiding Golisopod's grab as the Bug-Water-Type broke through the windows of a clothing store. "Eey!"

"Sopod...!" Golisopod's whimpers could be heard, the sadness being very audible to Apple Bloom's ears. It was very much saddening since it was yet another version of mind control. Something Apple Bloom's seen a lot of. But in this instance, the Pokemon was very aware and couldn't do anything about it.

"Golisopod..." She said to the Bug-Water-Type before looking back at the approaching Cozy Glow. However, there was one thing Cozy Glow also knew about mind control. Sometimes, a good beating does the trick. "Don't worry. I'll free ya."

"Don't just stand there! Get her!"

"Goli! Golisopod!" Golisopod would then use Pin Missile, firing multiple sharpened needles at the girl.

Apple Bloom gasped, closing her eyes as she thought the attack would land. However, Golisopod, who barely managed to control its movements, managed to just slightly move the pins to narrowly miss Apple Bloom, the worst being that the pins grazed her shirt. It clearly didn't want to wish absolute harm on her so it was doing its best to resist but it was an intense struggle.

The attack would hit a pillar behind her, the steel pillar having several holes in it. But even though Golisopod managed to prevent harm to Apple Bloom, it'll still be hard to restrain himself. Quickly, Apple Bloom would throw a Poke Ball forward, bringing out her Skiploom. "I need help! Skiploom!"

"Skiploom!"

"Skiploom, please! I need you to snap Golisopod out of it." Apple Bloom put her hands together. "Use Sleep Powder!"

"Loom!" From the top of her petals, a dust of green powder would emerge and spread through the area.

"Goli...?" The powder would land on the Water-Bug-Type's body, and the creature was starting to feel drowsy, falling asleep. Golisopod actually wanted this to happen, so that it would snap out of it. "Goliso..."

"Don't you dare!" But by clinging onto the Fairy Matter Orb, Cozy Glow managed to push back the effects of Sleep Powder, sending a mystical shock that woke Golisopod up.

"G-Goli!" After being knocked out of the Sleep Powder, Golisopod was back in action, using Razor Shell next. The Hard Scale Pokemon rushed in, slashing his shell weapon against the ground, creating a large slash.

"Skip!" Skiploom would skip to the side, avoiding the incoming slash which would cut through the marble floor, hitting the walls of the nearest shop.

"We'll have to use force then. Skiploom! Use Bounce!"

"Skiploom!" Jumping up in the air, the Cottonweed Pokemon would bounce upward and fly above the ceiling, disappearing in the darkness.

"Go after her, Golisopod!" Cozy commanded, pointing up. "Now!"

"Sopod!" Golisopod would follow, leaping upwards, using his arms and legs to climb the ceiling, reaching the top and going after the flying Pokemon. Golisopod would try and slash Skiploom, but the Cottonweed Pokemon would spin through the air, moving to the side, and then jumping up and away from him.

Golisopod started lunging from wall to wall at each store, trying to successfully catch her as Skiploom would continue bouncing away. "Loom!" After evading Golisopod, Skiploom would then fly in, landing on top of Golisopod's head and sending him to the ground, the impact creating a crater.

"G-Golisopod?!"

"Loom." Skiploom would fly back to Apple Bloom, who had her eyes open.

"Nice hit! That might've knocked it back to its senses!" Apple Bloom at least hoped for that to be the case. Cozy Glow grit her teeth, aggressively gripping the sphere and hoping that was not the case. Unfortunately, Golisopod wasn't out of it yet. He was still under her control, and the only way to get him out would be a good old fashioned beat down.

"Get back up, Golisopod! We're not done yet!"

"Goli." Getting back on his feet, the Water-Bug-Type would glare at Skiploom, the Cottonweed Pokemon glaring back. The two would stare each other down as Apple Bloom and Cozy would face each other.

"Knock it off! Can't you see you're hurting Golisopod?!"

"You're the one who used Bounce on it." Cozy Glow casually shrugged. "But it's fine. I've got more on my side. Golisopod's just one Pokemon after all. You're up, Espathra Go!"

Cozy would send out her second captive, releasing an Espathra and trapping it within the Fairy Matter.

"Spatha!" The Ostrich Pokemon growled upon arriving, glaring at the little earth pony and her partner Pokemon.

"Oh, great..." Apple Bloom's shoulders dropped. She now had to deal with Golisopod and Espathra collectively and potentially more since Cozy Glow had captured quite a bunch. Right now, Apple Bloom was just hoping that all of this commotion had gotten the attention of her friends

Outer Space.

Back in Outer Space, Mewtwo and Newtwo's battle with the Solar Empire continued with Mewtwo currently staring down Daybreaker from a distance, all while Necrozma was swiftly returning, the giant beast heading towards the ship he was on.

"He's back already?" Mewtwo looked behind him, seeing the approaching Prism Pokemon.

"You're not looking too good, are you, Mewtwo?" Daybreaker said to the Genetic Pokemon. "Even if you know you can't keep this up. For being created to be the World's Strongest Pokemon, I doubt you can stop all of this and what else is to come."

"We'll see." Mewtwo gave his retort. "I could say the same to you. You and I both know I have the power to cripple your forces to great lengths. Even you'll have to eventually retreat at a certain point.

"Fair enough. Though, I'm not exactly sure what will happen once I leave, but we'll see. I'm leaving here with something though. All this battling will eventually bring out Lunala and maybe Deoxys. You're holding back after all. You don't want to risk destroying other nearby planets and especialy not the Moon, the Earth or the Sun.

"Then stop this at once. Otherwise we'll all be destroyed one way or another." Mewtwo uttered. "If you do, then it may not be too late to rectify things. Your motive to bring Necrozma back to full strength would normally be admirable, but what you've done is truly horrible. Would you really go through this without finding another way?"

"There is no other way." Dayreaker coldly said. "I've been to many universes, Mewtwo, searching for other ways to help Necrozma. I've looked for any magical spell that could rectify his condition, even searched for Legendary Pokemon in other universes that could potentially help him, and yet no one and nothing could give me a solution. Even Jirachi was nothing but a failed mission. Either we couldn't find a Jirachi or the wish did nothing but slow down his illness a bit. It didn't make any sense to me."

"Not even Jirachi...?" That surprised even Mewtwo. Jirachi should have solved that issue as well. After all, the whole reason both worlds have now become one massive universe is because of Jirachi's power.

"I'm always looking at alternate options, Mewtwo. Even though I have abandoned all that is left of Celestia, the decision to find another way still remains. But then it hit me as to why this was the case." Daybreaker frowned. "The same reason I always want to bring a Luna back to my universe so that I could always have my sister behind me. The Rift."

"The Rift?"

"That's right. It is to largely blame for this. When I lost Luna, I tried calling out to the Rift to let it bring her back to me, but it refused. That refusal only encouraged me to find a new path. One where I grow strong enough to stop all threats to my land but to even overcome the Rift. I knew it had the power to bring her back, just like how it had the power to seal up all the Jirachis. The Jirachis we tried to miss were either gone because of that seal or the Rift intervened."

"Are you saying the Rift is actively getting in your way of your goals? Even before this?"

"Exactly. Ash Ketchum and his little group succeeded in their goal, reaching Jirachi and getting off that wish. But it wasn't without its struggles. The same can be said for us. So, I made up my mind once more. No longer will I rely on a power greater than mine to help me. I'll do it myself, if that's what it takes. I will restore Necrozma and I will bring back my sister. No one is going to stop from doing so whatsoever."

"..." Mewtwo narrowed his eyes after hearing all of that. "I see now. I knew that you had a reason for it, but knowing the further details, it does change things a bit. However, it doesn't change that you must be stopped at all costs. If there truly is no other way for you to save Necrozma, then stopping you is the final outcome."

"Glad you see that in the end it has to be this way."

"Though, I would ask of you this." Mewtwo asked a question. "What exactly happened to the world you lived in? What did you mean by abandoning everything of Celestia?"

Daybreaker, despite not wanting to answer the question, figured that telling the truth wouldn't hurt. "I lost my Luna as you heard. During the war with the Changelings and the Dread League, she perished. She was a casualty and a great loss to me. Once that happened, I awoke as Daybreaker, becoming the strongest version of myself. One that would never be held back again."

"I see." Mewtwo would hold his hand out. "I empathize with you then."

"What?" Daybreaker was taken aback.

"But rest assured, it doesn't mean I will hold back on you. This is who you are now, so before you can go any further, you must be stopped. You and Necrozma." With his other hand out, Mewtwo would suddenly reach their minds in an instant, causing them both to gasp. Their minds had been attacked and invaded, the two beings being shocked.

"Wh-What's happening?! M-Mewtwo...!"

Mewtwo had reached deep into their minds and was now holding it back, keeping their powers at bay. Not only that, he was looking deep into the mind of Daybreaker, the Genetic Pokemon learning everything about the Solar Empire. He learned how Daybreaker transformed Equestria, turning it into the Solar Empire, and then going around the universe, expanding her power greatly and even the day she encountered Necrozma in that universe that was frozen over.

He saw it all, getting every detail, and the more he dug, the deeper and more horrifying it got. But as he went deeper, he found something of great interest in the deepest, darkest part of Daybreaker's mind. It was faint but he could see it, causing him to advance further.

"U-Urgh..." Daybreaker grunted, feeling the pressure increase. "St-Stop it!"

That's when Mewtwo saw it. Even though Daybreaker said that everything about Celestia was gone, essentially her whole being was replaced by Daybreaker, that was not true at all. In the very back of her mind, there she was.

Celestia.

She appeared as a lifeless husk, hanging there in her mind. And Mewtwo knew right away that if Celestia was alive, or at least some part of her, then Daybreaker was not truly free from her at all. It surprised him to see this remnant present, completely unresponsive. It had no influence over her one bit. Or at least, that seemed to be the case. There was just one part of Celestia remaining that influenced Daybreaker. That being her care for children.

It was the only thing she managed to leave behind. Her love and empathy for young children.

After seeing that, and realizing there was a chance that he could still reach her, he would attempt to do just that, reaching out to Celestia's remnants.

"I...said...STOP!" With a roar loud enough to even echo across the darkness of space, Daybreaker would solar flare, breaking the connection between her and Mewtwo, the Psychic Pokemon sent flying back. It was so great that even her own ships, including the Solar Sword, were shaken, everyone inside the ship stumbling about.

Newtwo and Gardevoir felt it, and the latter was able to use her psychic power to prevent her from falling. Daybreaker took deep breaths, her head aching a bit. She then raised her eyes, gazing at Mewtwo, and the look she gave the Genetic Pokemon was like he just did something unforgivable.

"You'll pay for that, Mewtwo...I swear it. If you're going to keep holding back, I'll give you a reason to use everything, so that you are at your weakest!" Her pupils dilated out of anger as Mewtwo prepared himself. "Bring out the Supernova!"

Hearing their Queen's commands, the ponies inside of the Solar Sword began contacting Universe 11, alerting the empire's higher-ups and having the ship's weaponry be ready.

Whatever it was that was coming, Mewtwo knew that something with that name could be catastrophic. This battle was already threatening the Solar System, so no matter what, he had to stop this. Using his telepathy, he managed to reach Newtwo in the Solar Sword, speaking to her. "Have you found the control room yet?"

"Not yet...Gardevoir is in my way." Newtwo replied. "At this rate, I might be too late to reach it before the worst can happen."

"You're correct on that. Daybreaker has ordered for the arrival of something called a Supernova. If that name is anything to go by, the destruction could be cataclysmic. We need to stop it from being used even once."

"But we can do it in time?"

"We can try one thing. The two of us will have to synergize our Psytrikes at the same time in our respective locations. That way, the combined amount of energy will be strong enough to destroy whatever device that would've unleashed the Supernova. At the very least, the effects would be delayed, disrupting all functions on that ship."

"In unison, eh? Very well. I assume you'll be using every bit of your strength?"

"I can't risk it. I might destroy the Moon or any other planet nearby. I will only use a considerable amount."

"Understood."

With that, Mewtwo would close his eyes, preparing to focus, while also using his telepathy to send a message to Newtwo, the two coordinating their timing.

"Are you ready?"

"Ready."

Both would use Psystrike, building up the power from their bodies as a large sphere enveloped them both. Gardevoir gasped, promptly using Shadow Ball, firing the shadowy orb towards the ball. However, the buildup fro the energy managed to deflect the Shadow Bal, causing the attack to miss and crash into the walls of the ship.

The attack continued growing stronger and stronger, and it would only be a matter of time before the attack was unleashed. Both Mewtwos started growling, their strength rapidly growing as the Solar Sword itself was beginning to tremble.

And because of this intense pressure, the main control room of the ship even felt it, the controls shaking and the staff trying to get it under control.

"Not good! What's the status of the Supernova?!" A pony demanded.

"Th-The process is underway. But, the ship is experiencing heavy tremors. We can't open the gateway to bring it over!"

"Why you...In that case, we'll meet your attack with something just as strong!" Daybreaker exclaimed, her horn glowing as she decided to counter with something great as well. "Necrozma! Prismatic Lasers!"

The same goes Necrozma, who began building up his lasers. All four of them were building up something massive, and it was something that would definitely wipe out the moon if unleashed.

"M-My queen! If you were to unleash that, it could cause a chain reaction."

"I know."

"You're insane." Mewtwo growled, staring down at the Prism Pokemon, the Prism Pokemon looking at him.

"So, Mewtwo! Let's see if you're brave enough to use everything to stop this!" Daybreaker said with a maniacal expression as the Solar Sword's functions were sensing mass danger because of this buildup. Mewtwo and Newtwo were already charging up so there was no point in stopping now. They had to let this go through.

At the same time, all four of them, Mewtwo and Newtwo, along with Daybreaker and Necrozma would all release their attacks. A grand outburst of Psychic Energy, a stellar flash of Solar Magic and a magnificent flare of Prismatic Lasers were all released at the same time, the attacks colliding with one another, causing a multi-layered outburst, the paroxysm being astronomical.

Everyone on the ship was shaken, even the crew inside the Solar Sword could feel it, the ship was rattled a bit, the engines almost stalling. The Solar Sword, all the ships, Daybreaker, Necroza and Mewtwo found themselves enveloped in this light as the explosion could even be seen from Earth, appearing as a glint of a star that briefly illuminated the night sky.

The Moon trembled, but because of Mewtwo and Newtwo, they managed to keep it safe, a Psychic energy shielding it as it rippled aggressively. The Earth was protected too, and the Sun, the Solar Empire's main source of life, was not affected either.

But, because of the immense power, a massive wave of energy would erupt, causing the surrounding space, along with the Moon and the Earth to begin rotating for a bit, the rotation being visible in the air and the ground.

The trees and plants, rivers and oceans would shake, and the clouds would spin and the Pokemon and animals across the wild would start panicking. Everyone on the earth felt this strange, momentary feeling. It was quite the phenomenon that truly reached absolutely everywhere.

The quaking would cease, the light fading away. As the dust settled, Mewtwo and Newtwo, still within the sphere, would open their eyes, their bodies trembling a bit. They had almost used absolutely everything that they had but held back to keep the planets and the Moon safe. Newtwo expended so much that she left her Mega Evolved state, reverting to normal.

Daybreaker found herself in a similar situation as even she started taking breaths. Necrozma, however, was nowhere to be found, suddenly vanishing out of sight. But as Necrozma was suddenly gone and all that ruckus died down, it was soon interrupted by a familiar cry. A cry that Daybreaker was hoping that she could hear but one that Mewtwo hoped would never come around here.

The cry of Lunala.

"L-Lunala?!"

"Jackpot." Just what Daybreaker wanted. All of that brought Lunala out as she could not ignore the threats being done to the Moon. Even with that Psychic shield, the Moon was still at risk, bits of it shaking.

The Moone Pokemon had arrived.

With Daybreaker grinning and Mewtwo grunting, the tides had changed. All this had brought Lunala out once more. Even though she didn't wish to show up again to avoid Daybreaker, she had no choice, and Daybreaker knew this. With Newtwo out of her Mega Evolved state, Necrozma suddenly missing and Daybreaker still active, all of this could go either way. The threat to the Solar System and beyond has not yet left. With Lunala here, things were bound to change. For better or for worse.

As the journey continues.
