Dawn Wings of Despair

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

Outer Space.

Dawn Wings Necrozma.

The result of Necrozma absorbing Lunala, emerging in this new form. He was so radiant, a huge chunk of his illness fading away. The way he shined was as radiant as the Moon itself, proof of his ascension into power.

"Now, Necrozma! Show them your newfound strength!"

Upon declaring this, Dawn Wings Necrozma would open its mouth, firing a large beam of light energy straight for the three of them. The blast would be enormous, creating an explosion that not only forced all three of the Pokemon backwards, but left a trail of destruction across the stars.

Mewtwo, Newtwo and Deoxys would collectively cry out from this star-blazing light that pushed them all away. The two Mewtwos groaned while Deoxys barely managed to change into its Defense Forme to better resist the attack, its form changing into something bulkier. Even though Deoxys managed to resist it, the energy of the beam crackled around its body, certainly being felt even with amazing defence.

On the Solar Sword, the readings would show Necrozma's gigantic leap in strength, showing how far he went after absorbing Lunala's power. It was tremendous, far beyond what Necrozma previously was and Daybreaker was loving every second of it.

Deoxys cried out, quickly changing into its Attack Forme to try and stop Dawn Wings Necrozma while it had the change. Its form changed once more as the DNA Pokemon approached with its signature move, Psycho Boost. A glowing multi-coloured ball of energy in between its tentacles was fired towards the Prism Pokemon.

"Necrozma! Dragon Pulse!" Upon hearing that order from Daybreaker, the Dawn Wings Necrozma opened his mouth to fire a spiraling, multicoloured stream of energy from its jaws. The attack was launched and struck Deoxys directly, causing the Pokemon to groan as it was unable to push back the attack.

With a painful shriek, Deoxys was shot through the cosmos, flying out into open space, tumbling through the vastness of space and going through some asteroids. The shock of Necrozma's Dragon Pulse rippled through outer space, leaving behind a trail of debris as some planets trembled once more, their respective surfaces reacting to this.

Due to this intense battle, even before Dawn Wings Necrozma had arrived, the Solar System was taking noticeable damage and it was now escalating to greater heights. So much so that the nearest stars that made up this solar system could even feel its effects, some being shaken violently due to it. This caused their colouration to change to something far more brighter than usual.

"Yes, yes! Excellent work, Necrozma! I can tell you feel freer than you've ever been! But this is just one major part done with. There's one more to handle. Let's finish up here and get the Solar Sword restored before we move out again." Daybreaker knew that the Solar Sword had taken quite the beating, but even with those damages, it could still fly. "I hope the three of you are prepared."

"I can't Mega Evolve at the moment..." Newtwo tried tapping into Mega Evolution, but she was currently spent out. "I don't know if we can stop him in our current state."

"But, it doesn't matter the odds. If it's for the sake of the world, I'll do my best." Mewtwo declared. "We haven't lost yet. But..."

"Let's get this over with. We won't even need the Supernova for this one. Open the gateways and prepare to return. And Necrozma...Prismatic Lasers!" Daybreaker proudly said, wanting to see how powerful Necrozma's Prismatic Lasers could be in this state.

At Daybreaker's order, Dawn Wings Necrozma opened its mouth, creating a swirling vortex of light before firing a ray of intense light. The vortex would start pulling in asteroids and celestial bodies from its buildup, stunning everyone who saw it. Necrozma was casually affecting the distant celestial bodies now.

Mewtwo and the others watched as a nearby barren planet started breaking apart within the gravitational pull that came along with the vortex of light that formed after it opened. In an instant, that planet was disintegrated, leaving only particles behind as they were all swallowed up by the sheer build-up of beam of light.

"W-What power! Incredible!" Newtwo couldn't believe such strength existed in one Pokemon. This form was certainly capable of handling Universe 1's Celestial Bodies easily, maybe even without any issues at all. This sight filled her with fear, which she expressed when watching what happened next.

Once Dawn Wings Necrozma unleashed this attack, the beam split into multiple lasers of incredible power, traveling throughout the cosmos, piercing through everything in its path. The three of them were forced to jump out of the way as the first laser tore through the solar system. Some of the planets that weren't destroyed suffered immense damage as several large pieces chipped off due to being cut right through like they were nothing.

Another laser passed through a small planet, splitting it in half in one fell swoop, causing both halves to explode in reaction while still more lasers passed by. Mewtwo grit his teeth as he watched this, seeing the devastation take place around them. He couldn't afford to have things escalate any further, lest this entire solar system crumble in one shot.

The three Pokemon began evading the lasers to the best of their abilities, Deoxys swiftly changing into its Speed Forme to speed about. It was fast, but it looked as though these beams followed its movement perfectly, giving chase to the DNA Pokemon relentlessly. Mewtwo used his psychic powers to lift some debris for him to hide behind.

And soon enough, it'd pay off. The Prismatic Laser beams would pass right through it, striking other floating objects. But before another barrage came at him, Mewtwo quickly leaped out of the way of that area, not even turning back as the debris behind him exploded and flew all over. But the lasers were relentless, more so than ever. Newtwo would try and avoid them to the best of her abilities, but her luck wouldn't last either as two beams headed her way.

Upon seeing this, Mewtwo dashed over towards her, grabbing onto her waist as he pulled her down to the ground and rolled over, using his psychic powers to shield them as the lasers flew directly above them, hitting a comet instead. The two looked up for a brief moment, staring at each other, but then Mewtwo turned his attention away once more when spotting two more lasers coming straight at them.

Before he could do anything though, one blast snuck by, going straight for Mewtwo. Noticing this, Newtwo, by the skin of her teeth, managed to teleport herself and Mewtwo out of the way, avoiding this stealth laser. But that was merely a trick, for another laser to catch them by surprise. Right behind Newtwo, a laser had landed point-blank on her backside.

"Aaaagh!" Newtwo let out a horrific scream, having been hit at such close proximity, the lasers combusting aggressively. And as if to increase the pain tenfold, she was shot from behind, leaving behind an imprint of the laser engraved in her backside, causing her to fall over.

"?!" Mewtwo gasped, seeing his good friend take this staggering hit, her eyes closing. "No!" He cried out, catching her limp body as she laid there unconscious, her back badly hurt with an imprinted image of the laser behind her. Mewtwo glared, holding her in his arms as he looked upon the menacing Prism Pokemon.

And things weren't faring any better for Deoxys. Despite managing to outspeed these lasers, all it would take was for Necrozma to zoom towards the DNA Pokemon, cutting the distance in a flash, allowing it to attack directly. With a massive swipe, a crescent of light was fired, tearing right through space-time and sending Deoxys flying once again.

Once Dawn Wings Necrozma struck Deoxys, it caused the Pokemon to turn back into its Original Forme, absolutely staggered. Deoxys couldn't believe it. Such force behind that attack had knocked it back into its Original Forme without an issue. Deoxys was sure that it could still measure up to Necrozma even with Lunaala being absorbed but the leap in power was astronomical.

"So it has to be this way." Daybreaker ascended, looking down at the three Pokemon. "Deoxys, you were a bit too late. Perhaps if you got here sooner, the outcome would've been different. Alas, you'll become fuel for Necrozma in no time. As for you two Mewtwos, I'll give you your props. I can see why your limited species is classified as the World's Strongest Pokemon. But your time at the top ends here. Necrozma. Finish them off with Photon Geyser."

Screeching, Necrozma began building up an array of photons, surrounding himself in a circle of energy while his claws formed an upside-down triangle. Newtwo knew she had no strength to stop this. Deoxys was still trying to recover, thinking of entering its Defense Forme to try and resist this.

"Mewtwo..." Newtwo suddenly groaned, her hand touching his. "I don't think we should continue from this point. I'm far too weak to do anything...so I'm counting on you-"

"I know. I'll do my best but..."

"No. I'm counting on you and everyone else." Newtwo finished her sentence, suddenly passing some of her remaining Psychic Energy onto Mewtwo, surprising him.

"What are you saying...?!"

"As things are right now, we can't stop Necrozma. Daybreaker is right. Our time at the top has come to an end. But it doesn't have to be the end. We still stop this all...Our friends can."

"You're referring to Ash and the others..." Mewtwo already knew what Newtwo was going for.

"I know you can count on them. Just like how I've learned how to count on them. And now...I'm counting on you more than ever." She let out a smile at her fellow Genetic Pokemon before flying towards Necrozma. She was going to give Mewtwo the time he needed to escape from here with the amount of Psychic Energy he currently received.

Meanwhile, Deoxys had fully transformed into its Defense Forme, having regained enough energy to do so, and had prepared itself to go head-to-head against Necrozma one last time. It wasn't a battle it saw itself winning, but Deoxys wanted to provide as much time as possible to both Mewtwo and Newtwo to get away from this current area.

"Wait! You two-" Mewtwo attempted reaching out to the two of them, only for Necrozma's Photon Geyser to be unleashed, the firing of it creating multiple sonic booms that would knock Mewtwo back, causing him to hurl downwards. Newtwo grit her teeth, pushing herself to power through the soundwave as she approached the beam along with Deoxys.

Upon arriving at the Prism Pokemon, Deoxys' first action was to block it off using a Psychic Shield. Necrozma pushed forward, increasing the pressure around the two to such an immense degree that made their bones tremble from the overwhelming force of this light. Newtwo's entire body started trembling from trying to bear the brunt of this attack, the pain of being this close to Necrozma's incredible light starting to take its toll.

The two of them were soon enveloped by this blinding light as it would eclipse a wide area, leaving only white to be seen. Daybreaker couldn't believe it as she watched the aftermath of the attack from her position. A massive cloud of dust was blown away by the winds of outer space, revealing absolutely nothing in sight. Daybreaker looked ahead, her eyes wide open at the results.

Both of them had been absolutely damaged. Newtwo had passed out, unable to continue, while Deoxys was barely hanging in there, its body shaking once more. But for the most part, they had lost to Necrozma completely, having been overpowered greatly.

"Hmph. They tried their best to the very end. Respectable, but it's over." Daybreaker commented, calling this battle in space over. She then looked at Necrozma, who knew exactly what to do.

Drain them.

Dawn Wings Necrozma flew forward, extending its arm to use its claw to reach out to the both of them. Deoxys tried moving but it was too late. It and Newtwo were grabbed by Necrozma's claws as the light within them was slowly sapped away. This caused both Deoxys and Newtwo to scream out in reaction as their energies were taken. But now, he did more than just absorb them and drop their bodies. Necrozma would make them a part of him, pulling the opposing Pokemon inside.

With all their energy drained from their bodies, Daybreaker watched with glee as Necrozma absorbed them inside of its body, becoming fuller and stronger with each second passed. She loved every moment of this, knowing how much power Necrozma received through it. After the process ended, Necrozma let out a cry of victory, celebrating his greatest win yet. And he had Daybreaker to thank for helping him reach these peaks.

"Hm." Daybreaker nodded her head at him. "Alright. As much as I'd love to keep the momentum going, the Solar Sword will need to be fixed up. It will only take a few minutes and then we'll return to action. Our next target will be Solageleo and after that, the Universe. All of you. Where is the gateway?"

"Apologies, Queen Daybreaker. But...we're having trouble opening it. There was some kind of massive disruption over there!" One of the Radiant Guards, still at their stations in the ship, called out from their position, informing Daybreaker.

"What do you mean?" Daybreaker looked back to Necrozma with worry written on her face as she thought about this, her expression stern. "I suppose this battle would do that..."

"It doesn't seem to be the cause of this battle. It seems to be involvement from someone else. We're getting updates that the Cosmic Flame has suddenly disappeared!"

"My Cosmic Flame is gone?!" Daybreaker gasped, her eyes bulging upon hearing this news, and the fact it happened during their battle only made things even worse for her. "How can that be?! That flame is the equivalent of burning stars coming together! Who or what could possibly-" Then it hit her. There was only one pony powerful enough to match the power of that flame she put up. Or rather, surpass it. "Flurry Heart."

The Princess of Love, the young and talented Flurry Heart had managed to cast a spell that overcame the Cosmic Flame, making Universe 11 completely vulnerable to being traversed by others, no longer concealed. In other words, Flurry Heart had just revealed Universe 11 to the rest of the Multiverse. And now, they were free to go there and reach there without issues.

"Clever girl. I suppose she finally reached more of her potential at last." The Solar Queen grit her teeth. "So be it. Tell them to hurry up with forming a gateway for us. In the meantime, we'll get the Solar Sword somewhere else. One of those planets will-"

Before she could finish, right below her, something had struck the Solar Sword with immense force, arriving from Earth's direction, which had caught all off guard. This strike nearly knocked the Solar Sword off balance, causing everyone to tremble due to the sudden shaking of the ship.

"W-What was that? An attack from the ground?" Daybreaker looked down, trying to spot whatever had attacked them from a distance. Using her magic, she enhanced her vision, looking past outer space to view the Earth at a certain distance.

And there he was. Pokemon Ranger Jackie along with other Pokemon Rangers, getting involved. The way they struck the ship was by using their Capture Stylus on numerous Pokemon, having them all concentrate their attacks into a single point, hitting the Solar Sword, especially in its weakened state.

In fact, because they hit it in this weakened state, a hole had been made. The combined attack did not pierce it, but it still left behind a massive crater on the frontal exterior of the ship, stunning all that witnessed it.

On Earth, noticeably, it was all Electric-Type Pokemon that were involved, making sure that this attack would mess up the Solar Sword severely while also not harming themselves, only managing to stun some of the more vulnerable members that stood on the bridge. It took some time for the Rangers to gather enough of these Electric-types to even form such an incredible attack to begin with, but seeing as they were able to do it, the Solar Empire was in trouble.

"Those Rangers...!" Daybreaker scowled at their interference. " She was more than prepared to head down there herself and deal with their meddling.

"Your Majesty!" However, something else that was major came up. "Big news! It's Princess Luna! She's entered the Solar Empire!"

"Hah?! What did you just say?!" Her body started shaking from this information.

"It's true! She has arrived in your universe, Your Majesty!" With Luna now arriving at Universe 11, despite how victorious Daybreaker was over defeating Newtwo and Deoxys and even having Necrozma absorb Lunala, more showed up to try and foil her ultimate mission. She now had a choice. Head back to her universe and try and stop Luna, knowing that she could cause some major damage, or stay here and handle the interference from the Pokemon Rangers.

And the Rangers knew this. In fact, they were well aware of what Flurry Heart had done and what Luna's goal was. To sabotage everything in the Solar Empire, by extension, wearing out the Solar Sword so that it never gets the opportunity to return to Universe 11 for repairs. And with the Rangers handling the Solar Sword here, that allowed Luna with all the time she needs to get to work.

Universe 11. The Solar Empire.

She had arrived at Unvierse 11 and with immense presentation. As soon as Luna emerged from that gateway, a blinding night-like flash went off, stunning those in charge of opening the gateways for Daybreaker. Joining her were the Canterlot Guards and all the Pokemon they had, immediately attacking this room's devices with an all-out offensive, breaking them one by one.

The ponies in here gasped and screamed, watching their technology be absolutely battered, thrashed, blasted, melted, electrocuted, frozen, blown up, riddled with holes, torn apart and shattered into pieces within a matter of minutes. The sheer destruction this caused was monumental and left this entire place in shambles with the Gateway system now in absolute ruin. At least, this one was. There were still more that had to be dealt with before they could function once more.

"Alright. The lot of you." Luna said to the ponies working for the Solar Empire as they all felt like they were seeing a ghost. The Luna they knew had passed on long ago and any other Luna from any universe, they've only heard of how they've been defeated by Daybreaker's alliance, never seeing them. But now, they were seeing a Luna in the flesh, her face serious. "You all are going to pay dearly for what you've done to my sister. I'll make this place completely unrecognizable in minutes. Darkrai!"

Hearing her shout, Darkrai emerged from the shadows, his presence looming over the ponies and striking fear into their hearts. The ponies of the Solar Empire immediately tried calling for help, only for Darkrai to use Dark Void on them. And just like that, everyone who was involved in this room was knocked unconscious, leaving Luna to proceed with her counterattack.

"Make sure you ruin every machine here with full force. And rescue those that are to become fuel for Necrozma at once!" Luna ordered her forces, using her magic to hold out a Poke Ball. "And I already have the means of disrupting them indefinitely. Appear! Zekrom!"

In a flash, Zekrom emerged from the Pokeball, letting out a mighty cry upon arrival. The Deep Black Pokemon hovered there for a moment, his appearance being an incredible sight. His size even broke through the walls of this room and even his roar shattered the windows. With Zekrom out, all of the Canterlot Forces would scatter to do their job. Disrupt those machines at once.

Zekrom wasted no time, firing off a bolt of lightning straight towards some devices, frying them instantly. His lightning was so spectacular that it would spread to other devices, breaking through the walls as well, showing other rooms nearby. Some would be broken into pieces while others would collapse in response.

But Luna was just getting started. Her first major act to ruin things around here would be to fire off a blast of lunar energy, striking the roof and piercing it, blowing it up. Now with that hole made, the many Golurks and other Pokemon that could fly took flight, spreading out some more to find those devices.

It was immediate chaos at this point as the Canterlot Guard began their work. They would break through the walls to get to the other areas where these devices are housed, causing destruction everywhere, damaging anything they can. While there were still guards defending some of the rooms, they couldn't handle the numbers of Lunar Energy that Zekrom unleashed, along with Dark Void, knocking them all out with ease.

Sunrise Sparkle was made aware of this, gritting her teeth as she showed visible frustration. "Of course she had to show up now...Especially when we're struggling to get the Supernova through or even open a single gateway! All of you! Make sure you keep as many of our Gateway Modules as safe as possible!" Sunrise quickly said to all of them, wanting to make sure that they could still open their gateways.

Thus, a massive conflict in the Solar Empire was unfurling.

West Section of the Castle.

Elsewhere, hearing this ruckus and commotion was none other than Applejack and the Wonderbolts. After their minds had been freed from spacetime, they had taken the armor of the Solar Empire Guards, wearing them to blend in while moving about freely. But the instant that they saw this attack happen, they were quick to put on the helmets they obtained, which would mask their faces from the cameras so they can move around without drawing suspicion.

They focused their attention on the door in front of them. The door that led to the room where others are turned into bodies of light for Necrozma to consume. And indeed, once that door was opened, they saw that scene for themselves. The room was gargantuan, filled with these tall containers that kept multiple ponies trapped, their bodies being converted into nothing but pure light.

Their bodies would fizzle, evaporating into dust before forming into small little stars, then those stars would linger there, kept stable until they were met with Necrozma. The energy released in this room was immense and there must've been at least a few hundred in here.

"My goodness..." Misty Fly voice trembled at seeing such a sight. There was so much power coming from these individual bodies, it was almost intimidating to behold. "They're gonna send them all to Necrozma?"

"And those over there are all Pokemon too..." Another Wonderbolt pointed out, referring to another row of tanks, having pokes captured in the same manner as the ones before them. They weren't just trapping these individuals by turning them into pure energy. They also froze time on their actual physical bodies. In other words, they were able to keep the real bodies as they could easily convert them.

"We'll get them out of there...But it's going to take a lot of effort." Spitfire commented. "The sheer number of them we'd have to break open. Not only that, we'd have to find a way to restore their bodies."

"Maybe we should help out anyone that's still got their body." Applejack suggested. "Start off slow and all. Just blend in and act natural. At least enough for us to save others as well."

"Hm. Great approach. Alright, everypony. Play it cool and only send out your Pokemon when neccesary." Spitfire said, walking through the doors, grabbing the attention of the many guards that kept watch of these containers. There were an abundance of them here, a crowd's worth of Solar Empire Guards gathered. They all stared at the Wonderbolts, trying to see their expressions behind their helmets.

Applejack gulped once she stepped in along with the rest of the group, trying not to show any signs of nervousness. And the first thing that caught her eye was a large, massive machine with two long tubes connecting to both sides, connected to some of the tanks. It was pumping something into them, though she couldn't tell what.

As the guards stared at them, the Wonderbolts felt very much awkward and nervous in this scenario. If they get exposed, they could very much be next in line to become light sources. But as the guards were all staring at them, seeing how some of them were trebling in their armor, Spitfire would face the ones looking directly at them all.

She faced all of them who decided to gaze at them for this long, not showing any signs of fear. Then, by altering her voice a bit, she spoke. "What? Is something bothering you?" She spoke in the same cadence as how she does when assessing the other Wonderbolts, carrying a strict and powerful tone.

The guards and her stared at each other for a while, the tension being noticeable and things going silent. Everyone else didn't want to say anything due to wanting to avoid suspicion, so they remained quiet. And as they kept looking at her, Spitfire ended up intimidating them, causing them to jerk back a bit.

"N-Nothing. Nothing at all." One of the guards said with a stutter, looking away from the leader of the Wonderbolts. And once he did look away, the others around him also looked elsewhere, which prompted Spitfire to nod.

"Good." Without another word, the Wonderbolts went off elsewhere, heading to check on more devices around here to break down. Now that they've passed the initial test, all they had to do was find a way to break all these innocents out. And with all this trembling and battling outside, they might get that chance.

But if that doesn't work out, there was another option.

All of their Pokemon were currently in their Poke Balls, only being needed when neccessary. Well, almost all of them. In reality, Applejack and Spitfire kept some of their Pokemon out. In this case, their Ghost-Types. Above everyone in this chamber, phasing their heads through the walls were the 12 Golett and Froslass.

The Ghostly Pokemon moved discreetly as they spotted these individuals locked in their tubes. They were ready to get to work on freeing them now that things are finally starting to take shape. It had to be as discreet as possible. Froslass was noticeably sweating due to ll the heat here. This Universe was a massive hazard for her, but she decided to endure it for now.

After all, saving many lives in one swoop is definitely worth all of the effort, no matter the risks. And with that in mind, their time had come to start busting all of these containers open, hoping they don't run into any issues along the way. The Golett would also use Shadow Punch, slowly summoning shadow arms to quietly and gently touch these container, making sure that they were caught by the others waiting below, preventing any clattering to arise from their movements.

Freeing them without anyone noticing was the hard part. But that was where the commotion came in. Spitfire smiled, feeling the tremors grow to greater levels. All of them did. Every guard in here would stumble, some losing their balance completely due to how powerful these vibrations were getting.

"It's getting out of control out there!" A guard exclaimed. "If this keeps up, this room and other rooms will come crashing down."

"Y-Yeah. You're right. Everyone! Gather your gear and move out! Some of you, keep watch of these containers."

Upon hearing this, many Solar Guards in this room dashed off to retrieve their weaponry, which had been sitting idly. It gave the others the perfect opportunity to move around while all of them weren't paying attention.

Once they got their weapons, they were quick to scurry out of this room, leaving the few remaining ones inside to tend to things. it was still a lot of them, but Spitfire figured that these numbers would do just fine.

"Okay. Now should be Froslass's cue." Spitfire didn't even have to speak to Froslass or shout her name. Froslass knew what to do.

"Fros..." The Ice-Ghost-Type would breathe some snow and ice towards the doors that were about to close, planning to seal them shut so that no one else gets in. With a thick layer of frozen ice on the ground, that sealed the deal, preventing the guards from escaping to help with the issue. Of course, this was limited considering how hot the place was, but Froslass's ice could hold out for some time.

"And now...Blizzard!" Spitfire suddenly shouted, prompting Froslass to take action."

"Froslass!" With a haunting cry, she summoned a blizzard in the chamber, causing the temperature in the room to drop at an astonishing rate. Because of how intense this cold was, it also made a lot of the guards scream out in pain as well. This prompted them look up, seeing Froslass above them before then looking at Spitfire.

"Hey! What do you think you're doing?!" A guard approached the Wonderbolt Leader, trying to get a straight answer, only for him to gasp upon seeing Spitfire's face for a moment once she lifted the helmet a bit. "H-Hold on! Wait! You're-"

But he didn't even have time to finish his sentence once he was frozen by the ice from the Froslass. Soon, Spitfire's group took action now that the doors were locked.

"Alright! We're going to make sure none of you leave here to let them know what happens in here." Spitfire grinned along with Applejack. They were about to cause some havoc in here no doubt, making sure to give their Pokemon all the time they needed to try and open these containers.

Alola. Poni Island. Altar of the Sunne.

Over at Alola, Twilight, Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash had finally arrived at the Altar of the Sunne. They found themselves looking up at the Altar, which was meant to bring Solgaleo here. They managed to show up without any issues whatsoever. Now that they were here, they had to act fast, ensure that Solgaleo never gets caught by Necrozma.

"Alright...We're here." Twilight said with a stern face, the wind blowing with an aggressive motion unlike before. Most likely, this was in response to the events happening in outer space, managing to reach here. "We get Solagaleo away from Necrozma, we ensure that he never reaches his full power."

"How are we gonna summon Solgaleo though?" Rainbow Dash asked as there was one clear answer to all of this. Twilight looked down at Pikachu, who nodded in understanding. Pikachu knew that Twilight had to use his Z-Crystal that Ash lent her. The Pikachunium Z.

It wouldn't summon Solgaleo, but it would help massively when Solgaleo sees it. Opening the Altar of the Sunne was its own challenge. A challenge that Twilight was ready to tackle.

"We don't have the usual means of summoning him. So...I'll use my own means." With her horn glowing, Twilight was about to use the full extent of her magic to try and force open an Ultra Wormhole that would potentially bring out Solgaleo. "Now then...Here I go!" She shouted, feeling some magical energy flowing through her veins, being ready to cast the spell.

She concentrated, putting her mind at ease, focusing on the target as much as possible. As this was happening, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy observed in silence. It wasn't long until Twilight started moving forward, getting close to the platform. The moment she touched it with her hoof, a massive pillar of light shot upwards from the stone, taking her by surprise and pulsating her body.

Her eyes widened in response to seeing it and upon touching the ground, she saw that Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash also experienced the same thing. It was like a symphony of magic was singing to them. Twilight's eyes would start glowing, a mixture of her Regular Magic, Rift Magic and her Sorrowful Rage Magic, all flashing with their signature colours.

As they watched, Audino's ears managed to hear something else nearby. "Audino?!" The Hearing Pokemon gasped, turning her head to see what she hoped wouldn't show up here. Solar Empire Ships.

But not just any Solar Empire ships, it was Captain Spitfire's personal fleet.

"With Lunala dealt with, no doubt, the people of Alola will be panicking, trying to prevent Solgaleo from ending up the same. And if he does show up via the Altar, we'll deal with things there." Spitfire spoke. They arrived here at Alola, getting an update that Necrozma had absorbed Lunala. Now all that was left was Solgaleo, so naturally, they were approaching the Altar of the Sunne. Not to summon Solgaleo, but to stop those who would try and prevent his arrival.

"Not them!" Rainbow Dash snarled, gritting her teeth as she saw the solar fleet come closer towards the altar, ready to fight against the Mane 6. And because Twilight was currently preoccupied with opening the Ultra Wormhole, the task of stopping these ponies would fall on their shoulders.

They weren't sure if Twilight was anywhere close to being finished with forcing open an Ultra Wormhole, but they had to ensure that she succeeds. Twilight Sparkle had to succeed and her friends were going to do their best to pull it off.

As the journey continues.
