My Little Pokémon: Grander World
The Destructive Light of Creation

Back in the mall, Apple Bloom's confrontation with Cozy Glow continued. The young filly had her Skiploom by her side as the duo were being chased by Golisopod and Espathra. Currently, they were running through a cassette store, trying to avoid the two Pokemon.
"Skiploom! Use Stun Spore!" Apple Bloom ordered, having Skiploom release a cloud of spores from her wings. The spores would spread throughout the air, causing Golisopod and Espathra to inhale them.
"Goli!"
"Espa!"
The two Pokemon would stop in their tracks, their bodies becoming paralyzed. They were unable to move, allowing Apple Bloom and Skiploom to escape. Cozy Glow would immediately snap them out of this status by using the Fairy Matter on them, causing the two Pokemon to regain their strength.
"This is taking too long! I should be heading back with fuel for Necrozma by now!"Cozy Glow growled, thinking of using more Fairy Matter minions, but she just couldn't take that risk in case she ends up losing them. Not wanting to take that risk, she decided to try and call for a gateway from Universe 11. In her bag, she had a device that would allow her to do so.
The device, given to her by Daybreaker, allowed her to immediately contact those at Universe 11, requesting that a gateway was opened for her. She wanted to show her spoils at once.
"Hey! I need a gateway right now! I have a ton of people and Pokemon as Fairy Matter right here!"
"Oh, it's you. You're going to have to wait. We're currently dealing with some intruders."
"Intruders?! What intruders?!"
"It's Princess Luna and her team. They're trying to shut down our technology. We're currently dealing with them."
"Princess Luna?! How did she get here?! I thought there was supposed to be some big Cosmic Flame that keeps her and anyone else away from there!"
"There was, but somehow, they managed to get past it. We're not sure how, but we're dealing with them. No gateways can be opened at the moment."
"Yeah, right!" She bared at the device. "Quit using all of that technology and use some magic to compromise already! I'm getting tired and I wanna sleep already!"
"S-Spoiled brat..." The pony speaking stuttered, not wanting to deal with her. "How about you figure out a way to open it yourself? We're too occupied here."
"Kh...!" She would grip the device aggressively, lacking the strength to break it but her rage was very much real. "Fine! I'll do it myself!"
"Good luck." The pony said, hanging up.
"Grrrr...!" Cozy Glow growled, putting the device away. "I can't believe this! I'm stuck here with these idiots! I can't even use my Fairy Matter minions because I might lose them! This is so unfair!" She stomped her foot, her anger rising. But that's when it clicked for her. There was one place that did have something she could use. Canterlot.
The Travel Spheres that Canterlot have could easily be used to return to Universe 11. All she needed to do was pass through the portal, return to Equestria and get that Travel Sphere. "Ah...That'll do! That'll do easily! But if I'm going to pull it off, I need her out of the way first. I can't have her following me."
She would look around the store, seeing a variety of cassettes. She would grab one, smirking as she had an idea. "Hehehe. This'll do."
With Apple Bloom, she found herself hiding behind the many shelves, avoiding attacks from Golisopod and Espathra. "I can't keep this up forever. I gotta think of somethin'." She whispered, looking around the area.
"Skiploom..." Skiploom would peeek her head to the side, looking out for Golisopod and Espathra. She saw how Espathra was Psychic to move the shelves aside, trying to track the two of them down.
"Alright. I'll need a distraction." Digging into her bag, Apple Bloom held out two more Poke Balls. She would silently drop them, summoning Emolga and Cherrim. "Emolga, Cherrim. I need you two to distract those two. I'm gonna try and get outta here."
"Emolga!"
"Cherrim!"
"Skiploom, you come with me." Apple Bloom said, having Skiploom follow her. The two of them would sneak away, leaving Emolga and Cherrim to distract Golisopod and Espathra.
"Emol! Emolga!" Emolga would fly up, unleashing a barrage of Swift Stars at Espathra. The Psychic-Type would block the attack with her wings, glaring at the Electric-Type.
"Cherri!" Cherrim would unleash a barrage of Razor Leaves, which Golisopod would block with his claws. But this distraction was proving to be effective right now. Apple Bloom and Skiploom were going undetected, sneaking away from the two Pokemon.
"Now's our chance. Use Sleep Powder on Cozy Glow." Apple Bloom whispered, running out of the store. The two of them would try and sneak up on Cozy Glow while they had the chance.
Cozy Glow looked around, trying to find Apple Bloom so that she could call this a night. "Come on, Apple Bloom...I'm getting tired here! I should be asleep by now! I don't have time for this!"
As she started ranting, her anger building, Skiploom was closing in on Cozy Glow from behind, making sure to stop a certain distance away. "Skiploom!" She would unleash a cloud of Sleep Powder, causing Cozy Glow to inhale it.
"Ngh...!" Cozy Glow would feel her eyelids getting heavy, her body feeling weak. "Oh you...!"
"Great!" Apple Bloom cheered as she immediately ran over, targeting Cozy Glow's bag of Fairy Matter. She was planning to rip it from her and run off with it. "I got it!"
"Skiploom!" Skiploom would fly over, ready to help her.
"Not so fast!" Cozy Glow would suddenly shout, her eyes glowing. She would use a flow Fairy Matter from her eyes and mouth to grab Apple Bloom, lifting her up. "You're not going anywhere!"
"W-What?!" Apple Bloom gasped, struggling to break free.
"I made sure to add some Fairy Matter to myself! It's only a little bit, but it works and is pretty easy to handle." She grinned while holding her up. "Now, I'm going to make sure you stay put. I'm going to make sure you can't move a muscle while you become more food for Necrozma."
"Ghh...! Why?!" Apple Bloom just couldn't understand why Cozy Glow was doing all of this. "Why do all this?! What about your folks?! Do they know?!
"My folks? Ah, you mean my parents. Pssh. As if I know the answer to that. I don't have parents." Cozy Glow revealed a shocking truth about her. Apparently, she had no parents, making her an orphan.
"Y-You don't...?" How come?"
"Don't know. Don't care. I'm here now, way better than I was back then. I'm part of an alliance with an Empire that's going to win by the end of this. And I'd much rather be on the winning side of things. Now you-"
"Loom!" Interrupting her was Skiploom, who had used Energy Ball near the ground, causing a small explosion. The explosion was enough to distract Cozy Glow, causing her to lose focus.
"Wah!"
"Skip! Skiploom!" Skiploom flew over to Apple Bloom, saving her from a hard fall as she landed ontop of Skiploom.
"Thanks, Skiploom." Apple Bloom smiled, hugging her.
"Skiploom!"
"Ow..." Cozy Glow groaned, getting on one knee before looking over at Apple Bloom with seething rage. Her rage began resonating with the Fairy Matter, which is usually used for soothing actions, but in this case, it was being used for an aggressive emotion. "You...You...!"
The Fairy Matter would start humming, but it had a more aggressive sound to it this time. It was like a growl, a growl that was coming from Cozy Glow. "You're going to pay for that!"
Suddenly, the Fairy Matter would erupt behind and out of her, taking the form of a large, dark purple sprite. It had a long neck and a short tail, with a pair of bat-like wings. It had a pair of horns on its head, and a pair of smaller horns on its cheeks. It had a pair of yellow eyes, and a pair of fangs protruding from its lower jaw.
"W-What is that?!" Apple Bloom gasped, staring at the creature. It was a manifestation of Cozy Glow's anger. The Fairy Matter was simply bringing it to reality, creating an all-new Pokemon temporarily.
"Just hold still! I should be home by now!" Cozy Glow started pulling her hair, causing the sprite's anger to grow more and more. The Sprite would then open its mouth, unleashing a flash of Fairy Magic.
Apple Bloom gasped, promptly closing her eyes and holding on tight to her Skiploom. The two of them would be engulfed in the light as the entire cassette store was eclipsed by it.
The outburst of Fairy Matter didn't cause an explosion, but instead led to a transformation. The entire store was transformed into a realm of pure Fairy Magic. The walls, the floor, the ceiling, everything was covered in a pinkish-purple aura. However, that didn't mean the initial outburst wasn't harmful.
The noise was so great that Scootaloo, Diamond Tiara and Sweetie Belle heard it from the other side of the mall. They were already rushing to find the source of this noise and now it was getting more hectic within the mall. They were just hoping that nothing had happened to Apple Bloom and Cozy Glow.
But something did happen to Apple Bloom. Something critical.
As the light faded away, Apple Bloom could be seen lying on the floor, the sides of her body radiating with Fairy Matter that latched onto her like algae. She groaned, her body twitching while on the floor as Skiploom suffered the same effect too. Even Golisopod and the other Pokemon weren't spared. "Ugh..."
"S-Skip..."
"Hah...Hah..." Cozy Glow got on her knees, the manifestation of anger promptly fading away as she managed to exhaust herself doing that. She then looked at the orb of Fairy Matter in her hand, seeing how small it was now. A majority of its power had been wasted in that one outburst. "Rats...I didn't think it'd waste that much."
Despite being low on Fairy Matter right now, Cozy Glow believed she could use it one last time. Getting back up, she walked over to Apple Bloom, ready to transform her. And poor Apple Bloom and Skiploom couldn't move, the radiation of Fairy Matter keeping them in place.
"Now, let's see how you like being a part of the Fairy Matter." Cozy Glow smirked, holding the orb above Apple Bloom. The Fairy Matter would flow, reaching out to her and Skiploom, the soothing aura surrounding them.
"N-No...!" Apple Bloom tried to move, but she couldn't. She was stuck. She could feel her body transforming, the Fairy Matter taking over.
"Skiploom!" Skiploom cried out, the same thing happening to her. However, the orb could oly muster enough power to transform Apple Bloom, unable to do the same to Skiploom. Soon, her body shrank, becoming floating orbs of Fairy Matter. And as this was happening, showing up here at this very moment were Scootaloo and the others, witnessing this sight for themselves.
"A-Apple Bloom!" Scootaloo gasped, seeing her friend become a part of the Fairy Matter.
"W-What's happening?!" Diamond Tiara asked, not understanding what was going on. Cozy Glow didn't say anything. She simply grabbed the two orbs and ran for it.
"Hey! Cozy Glow, wait! What's the big idea?!" Sweetie Belle shouted, chasing after her.
"Sweetie Belle, wait!" Scootaloo called out, but it was too late. Sweetie Belle was already chasing after Cozy Glow. As they ran, Diamond Tiara quickly spotted the other Pokemon on the floor, their bodies in great pain from all that Fairy Matter. She would make a quick turn, running over to Emolga, Cherrim, Golisopod and Espathra.
"Are you guys okay?!" She asked, kneeling down to them. "What happened to you all...What is this?"
The girls continued their pursuit of Cozy Glow, trying to catch up to her in this large shopping mall, moving over all the rubble left behind from the battle.
"Cozy Glow! What did you do to Apple Bloom?!" Sweetie Belle asked, not letting her get away. However, she did not respond yet again. She was only focused on getting that Travel Sphere.
Outer Space. High above the Johto Region.
Back with Daybreaker, her Solar Sword was currently being held up by an attack from below. The Pokemon Rangers had gathered a plethora of Electric-Types, having them unleash a coordinated attack on the massive ship. The Electric-Types kept it up, focusing all their efforts onto the Solar Sword, being able to hit from this far up.
Daybreaker didn't understand how, but all she knew was that they made a grave mistake doing so. Right now, she was currently unable to return to her Universe, meaning she would have to stay here for a while until a gateway opens up. And now that Necrozma was stronger than ever, becoming Dawn Wings Necrozma, Daybreaker figures that he should exert more of his newfound strength upon those that would try and stop him.
"Necrozma. I want you to go and deal with the Pokemon Rangers. Show them your new self. And plus, getting the Rangers out of the way is one massive itch dealt with."
Necrozma would descend as fast as he could, travelling across the starry skies and focusing on the body of light that struck the Solar Sword. The Prism Pokemon flew directly into the concentrated bolt of lightning, willingly letting himself make contact with it, just to absorb it all. He was going to take in the energy from it and use it against those that tried attacking.
He would absorb it all, his body pulsating with lightning and energy, showing how he was now capable of handling a lot more. While absorbing it, he started descending faster and faster, approaching Earth to the point where he was gaining plenty of friction. He was so powerful that the friction wasn't affecting him. The friction would only serve to help him go faster, and he was getting closer and closer to the Pokemon Rangers, the light emanating off his body growing.
Viewing Necrozma descending was none other than Jackie. He was currently in the air, riding on a Pidgeot. He was on lookout for Necrozma and was the one responsible for having all the Pokemon fire their electricity at the right position, making sure they hit the Solar Sword.
Here he comes..." Jackie commented, getting ready to inform the other Rangers. "Just as expected, he's feasting on all that electricity. But that's not the only thing he'll get. Alright, you all! Time for a quick swap!"
"You got it, Jackie!" A Ranger gave a thumbs-up as she nodded her head to the other rangers. They all expected Necrozm to do this, which is why they had another phase of this plan that Jackie constructed. They didn't just get the help of Electric-Types, but also Water-Types. They had already used the Capture Stylus on them earlier, but were waiting for their turn.
Now, it was time for them to act. All the Water-Types they called for would gather around, ready to follow Jackie's orders. The first order was for all of them to jump as high as possible, and Jackie would be joining them, riding on the Pidgeot.
All the Water-Types would summon their attacks, shooting water bullets into the sky. As Necrozma continued flying, his body would suddenly be shocked thanks to the Water reacting to the Electricity on him. He would then start taking damage, feeling the pain of a strong attack.
Many, many volts travelled through his body as a second bolt of Electricity would pass by him, going for the Solar Sword once more. This time, this bolt would have Water mixed in with it to ensure that Solar Sword's technology would be greatly disrupted.
The Water Bolt struck the bottom of the Solar Sword once more, piercing through the exterior. It would continue its descent, passing through the layers of the Solar Sword and finally striking a vital point, causing the ship to shake.
All that water and electricity mixing together was enough to cause an eruption, a large explosion that was strong enough to send Necrozma back. The explosion would also destroy a part of the Solar Sword, leaving the massive ship in a damaged state.
"Those sly little..." Daybreaker kissed her teeth, rather impressed by their coordination. "Unfortunately, it's not enough"
Despite being damaged, the Solar Sworl was still an absolute monster of a ship and the same goes for Necroza, who was tough enough to power through, flying down once more in mere seconds, not needing that much time to recover.
"N-Not good!" Jackie gasped, seeing Necrozma already flying towards the Pokemon Rangers. They were about to get obliterated. "He's coming right for us! Everyone, brace yourselves!"
The Rangers panicked, many of them falling on their backs as the Pokemon scattered. They didn't even have a chance to get up, as the massive Pokemon would immediately descend upon the crowd. He would then use his massive wings to unleash a barrage of light energy that resembled feathers, but these feathers were sharp.
"Just kidding~" But Jackie's tone quickly changed as emerging right from the ground in secrecy were Ground-Types of many kinds. They jumped out the ground beneath everyone, coordinating their strength. The Ground-Types would move the Earth itself, forming a protective mound of Earth and boulders that acted as a barrier between the Pokemon Rangers and the feather-like attack.
"Hm." Daybreaker narrowed her eyes when observing this. Quite the resilience the Pokemon Rangers were putting up. She thought they only got the help of Electric-Types, but it seems more were popping up. "I might have to get down there myself. For them to react this fast to Necrozma's attacks...they must have someone alerting them before they even come."
Daybreaker would then move her eyes while still enhancing them with magic, seeing where these callouts were coming from. And that's when she saw him. Jackie on his Pidgeot, high in the air and the one responsible for these callouts. "So he's the one responsible for the coordination. Not a problem."
While Jackie and the others were trying to figure out a way to hold Necrozma off, Daybreaker decided to use this time to create her own opening. She would take the Solar Sword and aim it downwards, firing a beam of light at the ground.
The beam would penetrate the Earth, creating a small hole that would soon expand. The Solar Sword's laser would go further and further, causing the ground to rumble and split apart. The Rangers and the Pokemon had to hold on tight as the ground shifted, a deep trench forming beneath them.
Jackie and the Pidgeot could also feel the rumbling reaching even the skies themselves, having a hard time keeping balance. The Pidgeot would lose control of its flight, causing Jackie to fall from the sky. "Ah!" The Skyquake had absolutely caught Pidgeot off guard, rumbling even the clouds.
"Jackie!" One of the Rangers would cry out, seeing him fall. The Pidgeot would try and fly back up to him, but its wings were too damaged from the shock.
"T-The wings...!" Jackie gasped, looking at his Pidgeot, which was falling along with him. It couldn't flap its wings properly, the wind rushing against them. That's when Jackie remembered something, something about the wings. "That's it!"
He would look back at his Pidgeot, knowing he still has time to save him. "Pidgeot, use Brave Bird on yourself!"
"Pidge! Pidgeot!" The Pidgeot didn't understand what Jackie meant, but the two were in a freefall. So, Pidgeot would listen, closing his eyes as he started to glow with a fiery blue aura.
"Go for it, Pidgeot!"
The Pidgeot would open his eyes, revealing a set of fiery, determined eyes. He was now covered in a veil of fire, his body ready to take the blow of his own attack. "Pid...geot!"
With one last burst of speed, the Pidgeot would reach Jackie, and successfully caught him. But as he caught Jackie, he looked up to see the arrival of not just Necrozma falling at high speeds, but also the light descent of Daybreaker, who set her sights on the High Ranking Pokemon Ranger.
"Daybreaker..." Jackie said once he saw her descend.
"Oh, I know you. Or at least heard of you. Jack Walker, right? Or Jackie as you prefer to be known as." She spoke, the wind brushing past them. "You've been quite the figure getting in the way of my alliance's actions, and you've done a splendid job."
"Thanks." Jackie smirked. "Whether it's vampires or alternate universes, I get around, doing the best. So do all of us Rangers, doing what we can to stop you."
"Hm. That shouldn't be a surprise. I'd expect nothing less from the Pokemon Rangers. Which is why by the end of this all, even when Necrozma does end up absorbing the Universe, I think I might keep your organisation around. Among other things in this world."
"Why would you ever wanna keep this Universe around? Isn't it too big of a threat to you?"
"Oh, it is. The biggest, no doubt. And that's all thanks to it being the Main Universe where all things begin. But, it's because of the fact that it's the Main Universe that I must gain control of it. Have you ever heard of a Prime Universe?"
Jackie raised an eyebrow, looking at her with some confusion. "What do you mean?"
"It's simple, really. There are Universes. Countless, infinite numbers. But, there is only one Universe that's the 'Prime Universe'." Daybreaker explained. "That's right. There is a Universe that holds a lot more importance than the rest, and that's Universe 1. It's the Universe that is the very root of the multiverse, the starting point."
"And let me guess, this world is the Prime Universe?"
"More than anything. Before, both worlds were their own respective Prime Universe. The root of their own realities. But now that they've merged as one, they've created an all-new Prime Universe. Do you know what that means? That means, no matter what happens, this Universe will always have something significant to existence. Even I can admit that defeating this universe won't be the end of it. And since it is where all things branch off, it is the perfect place to realize my ultimate. I control this universe, I control everything."
"Seriously?" Jackie sighed.
"Seriously. I may love my own universe, this is the Universe that matters the most. And I plan on taking care of it, making it a part of the Solar Empire."
"Good luck with that." Jackie would suddenly chuckle. "I don't know if you've forgotten already, but you have Legendary Pokemon hunting you down for what you've done. If I'm a betting man, I'd say Groudon and Kyogre at the closest. Johto and Hoenn are pretty near each other after all. So good luck getting past them."
"Is that a challenge, Ranger? I like challenges. It's always fun to put some resistance down."
"Yeah, yeah. It is. You see, if you think you're just gonna walk away from this, think again. There are more forces of nature, and Pokemon that will try and stop you, no matter what you do. And I guarantee you, no matter what you do, there's always gonna be someone in your way."
"Hmm..." She would think, smiling. "That's very true."
The two would descend further, with Jackie's Pidgeot unable to keep him afloat any longer. The Pidgeot would fall from the sky, landing on the ground. Jackie would land, with his Pidgeot collapsing to the ground, its wings broken and burnt.
"However. My drive for victory objects against that. For where there is the drive to retaliate, I only improve from it. Allow me to show you." Dayreaker her wings, landing on a nearby cloud and looking down on them all. "Necrozma. Begin Mass Absorption."
Hearing that, Necrozma knew that to do. He came to a halt all of a sudden, ceasing his current attacks. The Prism Pokemon hovered there ominously for a while, gazing at all the Pokemon and people before him. So much energy for him to feast on. None of it would compare to what Lunala gave him, but it would be all the more satisfying.
"What's it doing...?" One Ranger questioned.
"I-I think it's waiting." Another commented.
Jackie could tell that something major was about to happen, especially from the look in Daybreaker's eyes. She was confident about what was about to happen, so Jackie was going to have to prepare.
And prepare, he should.
A bright, glowing light began forming in Necrozma's body, shining brighter and brighter until finally, a blinding flash occurred. Jackie, the Pokemon Rangers, the Pokemon, and everyone else shielded their eyes as they were unable to look at the light.
"Agh...!" Jackie squinted, trying to look at Necrozma, but couldn't. "W-What's happening to him...?!"
Daybreaker chuckled, watching it all. "Mass Absorption, Jackie. You can try and protect your planet as much as you like, but it won't be enough. Your attempts to protect the light, only ends up strengthening Necrozma. And with each bit he takes, the stronger he gets. After all, everywhere you look, there is light."
As Daybreaker explained this, Jackie could hear the sounds of screams from the distance, not just coming from the Pokemon Rangers. Necrozma began absorbing the energy from everyone nearby, causing the Pokemon and even the people to stagger.
It felt like their bodies were trapped within their own mind, their vision hazy. Jackie and the other Rangers watched as the Pokemon and the people were struggling, their bodies shaking as Necrozma's aura grew brighter and brighter.
"I feel so...weak." One Ranger got down on his knees, his body quivering.
"S-So heavy..." Another said, doing the same.
"What...What's happening to me...?"
"The Mass Absorption has begun, Jackie." Daybreaker called out. "Necrozma is draining the energy from everything around him. All the people, the Pokemon. Anything living. Had this in mind for a while but I held back from it in case Necrozma goes on a rampage. Now, that won't be an issue."
Not just the people and Pokemon, but the environment as well. Necrozma's absorption affected the environment, making Jackie realize this. This wasn't good, if Necrozma is able to absorb everything, then the entire area here would perish.
"Everyone...everyone! You all need to resist it!" Jackie called out, his body weakened as well. He could feel the effects of Necrozma's ability.
"Trying..." One of the Rangers tried his best to resist, but his body was weakening. Necrozma was absorbing the very life out of him, his life force. He could feel his life energy leaving him, and his strength being drained. "Ugh..."
"But that's not all. Observe how Necrozma's light changes the environment as well." Daybreaker boasted.
"W-What do you mean...the environment?!" Jackie groaned, feeling weak as his body collapsed on the ground.
"I mean the very earth beneath you, Jackie. Watch."
As Daybreaker was speaking, the Pokemon Rangers could see the earth starting to change. The grassy fields they once stood on were beginning to wither, and the trees and other plant life were slowly turning grey. The ground beneath them was becoming cold, and the Pokemon and people were losing their colour, their life force drained.
But that was just the first step. The second step was altering nature itself in various ways. Trees, rocks, the Earth, the sky, and the clouds. Everything was starting to transform, and it was all thanks to the effects of Mass Absorption. The trees turned into different variants of themselves. Some had purple leaves, while others had green or red leaves. The sky turned orange, while the sun itself seemed to turn purple.
"What is this...?" Jackie could see how the earth around him was turning black, and the Pokemon were losing their colours as well.
"Necrozma doesn't enjoy senseless destruction, Jackie. No, no. In a way, he's somewhat of a creator, is what I've learned. And much like how the Light of Arceus created all things, so does Necrozma."
In Daybreaker's own words, Necrozma's light was similar to that of Arceus. One that could create, but in his own image. And right now, an example of such power was being shown to him as all the energy from everyone else would be used for this new sight.
And this was but Necrozma at almost his full power. Jackie couldn't even begin to imagine what he could do when fully restored as the journey continues.
