Universe 50. Mirados. Nightfall. Moonspace.

It was a powerful impact once it finally hit, the light spreading far and wide, enveloping the entirety of this massive realm. Ash truly made the rules here, overpowering the Flawless Aura and boosting his friends greatly. A worthy gift after that he had to go through to stop Delayed Aura Ataxia.

The smoke cleared, showing the result of the attack as the realm was starting to vanish, everyone slowly returning to the real world. The BlueLight Sisters, the other students and the Soul Clones laid in the ground, defeated. Their Pokemon had fainted and so have they. That attack in the 18 Realms wasn't physical due to that realm being a mental one, but it certainly left an impact on their bodies.

"Hah..." When back in real life, Rainbow Dash sat down, exhausted and running low on stamina. So were her, Rarity and Applejack. They've been through a lot in so much time, but they've finally won. "Haha, we did it!"

"Rainbow Dash!" Fluttershy and the others rushed to their friends, Audion having Raleigh safe in her hands. "You did it!"

Applejack smirked. "Of course we did. There was no doubt about it." She felt a little proud of herself. She was still a little tired but happy to see her friends. The earth pony fell flat on her face, needing time to rest, alongside her Sceptile. "Tuckered out from that one."

"Yeah." Ash smiled, the Staff of Sir Aaron shrinking in size to fit into his pocket. "That was one for the books." The Trainer and his Pokemon smiled at their victory. It was a tough one, but it's always worth it in the end.

"Glad I showed up, huh?" Brock spoke as he went to pick up Applejack and Rarity, carrying the tuckered ponies in his arms. The two had used a lot of energy, and he was there to help them recover. Now all that was left to do was handle Twilight Moonlight and free all the citizens trapped in the Quantum Orbs. But Twilight Sparkle had that covered from the looks of it.

Alas, it was not the end. Not yet.

From the rubble, a sudden bursting pillar of magic would erupt, grabbing the attention of everyone around. This light was beautiful, and the one within it was also beautiful, but terrifying at the same time.

Emerging from it was none other than Alpha.

To everyone's shock, she was the only one of the Institute that did not faint, along with her Gardevoir, and was standing on her own. She had one knee on the ground, one hand as well. Her body was in pain, that much was clear, and she was panting and sweating. Her clothes were a mess, and she was trying to catch her breath. She had barely made it out of the attack, and it was obvious she was in a bad state.

But despite it, she was standing and not done yet. "We...are not done!" She spoke, showing no signs of fatigue or stamina loss. Damage yes, but exhaustion, no.

"Gardevoi..!" Her Mega Gardevoir cried out as well, clearly in a worse state than her Trainer. They were both in pain, but their determination to keep fighting was stronger than ever.

"She...took that?! How?!" Rainbow Dash just couldn't understand how she was this resilient and sturdy.

"My body is not like yours. I am made up of many, many souls. My stamina will never be an issue. But my body...is at its limits." Alpha confessed. "It will not make retreat. I can still see an opportunity to defeat you and capture you, Ash Ketchum."

"..." Ash stayed silent at this. While he refused to let her do so, he had to admire and respect this tenacity. It was a lot like his own.

"Our chance at victory is still visible. The Soul Crystal is a weapon that we can fall back on." said Alpha. "As well as the hostages we have. We still have the Mirados Police...and Braviary."

"!!" Hearing that got Hilbert's spirit to emerge out of Ash. He was a stubborn one too, and hearing that his Pokemon was in danger made the Trainer get serious. "You've got no right to have Braviary as a hostage!"

"Maybe not. But I have him anyway." Alpha replied. "Comply, or I will take action. One of the Betas currently has Braviary and we are very much willing to place his soul within the oul Crystal. Or potentially other harsh options."

"Why you...!" Hilbert snarled, charging towards Alpha at full force. "Give back Braviary!" Angered, Hilbert tried to punch her, however, he was a spirit now. Physical attacks meant nothing to him and whoever he tries to hit.

"..." Alpha stayed silent and unmoving, feeling the fist of Hilbert going through her. It felt surreal and strange, but it was a reminder that Hilbert was nothing more than a spirit.

"Aw, come on!" Hilbert roared out in frustration. "You guys! You gotta get Braviary back for me! One of you's gotta find that Beta somewhere! Sniff him out or something!"

"I can do that!" Pinkie Pie raised her hoof. "Well, Slurpuff can!"

"No one is leaving this vicinity." Alpha declared. "Before showed up, the students, Betas, Zetas and I cast a spell to trap everyone in here. A dimensional barrier that cannot be crossed from the inside. We are all trapped here and no one can escape."

"What?!" Brock and the other humans were surprised at this.

"Until I've succeeded, none will escape. Not until you are captured, Ash Ketchum." Alpha pointed at her.

"...Alright. Then let's give it one more go." Ash adjusted his hat. If that was how it was going to be, then he would indulge in one last battle with Alpha. The others were too tired to continue further, but Brock, Fluttershy and Pinkie could still go for more, wasting the least amount of energy compared to everyone

"Pika...!" Pikachu was ready to go, his red sacs flaring with electricity. However, before he could take action, it happened. Ash had taken Hilbert's Poke Balls since he was now a spirit, temporarily keeping his Pokemon safe aside from Braviary who was captured. And one of those Pokemon immediately forced himself out of his Poke Ball just to get involved.

That being Emboar.

"Emboar!" Emboar roared, wanting in on the action. It was only natural. It was because of the Arcane Institute that his Trainer was now a spirit and one of his teammates was being held hostage. He wanted payback.

"Emboar?" Ash looked over at him.

"Emb! Emboar!" Emboar spoke to Ash, expressing the anger he felt right now. His Trainer was a spirit thanks to the Institute, and they had his friend. He wanted a chance to avenge them both.

"So you wanna get involved, huh? Alright, I gotcha." Ash nodded his head. "Pikachu, can you rest?"

Pikachu looked over at the raging Emboar, and he could not deny his intensity. So he let him do his thing, stepping down from his position on the field and nodding at Ash. "Pika."

"Let's do it." Ash and Emboar stepped forth to face off against Alpha and her Mega Gardevoir. Ash looked back at the rest of his friends, entrusting them to free the citizens, break the spell that was around the area and find Braviary.

"I will settle this." Alpha's eyes shined. "The power of the Institute will not lose. I was created to defeat you. So I must and shall."

"We'll see about that." Ash said. Both Trainers faced off against each other. The final confrontation was about to occur. Alpha was readying her Mega Gardevoir, and Ash was readying Emboar. Both Pokemon were ready to unleash their full power on each other, the energy building between the two. Everyone could sense the tension in the air.

"Gardevoir! Dazzling Gleam at once!"

"Garde!" In her hands, a shine of magic energy manifested into an orb as the Embrace Pokemon flew forward, attempting to smash it into Emboar.

"Alright, Emboar! Use Hammer Arm!" Ash cried out.

"Emboar!" Emboar's arm glowed a bright white, as he charged forward to clash with the Mega Gardevoir. The two attacks met and created a shockwave of energy that blasted everyone around them. Emboar's strength was impressive, as he was able to hold back the powerful Dazzling Gleam and even push it back a bit. However, it wasn't enough to overpower the attack completely, and the two Pokemon were forced to separate.

"Use Fire Pledge!"

"Boar!" Emboar slammed his fists on the ground, sending an erupting barrage of rising flames towards Alpha and Mega Gardevoir. The fire burned and scorched everything in its path.

"Use Psychic to defend yourself!" Alpha commanded.

"Garrrr!" Mega Gardevoir's eyes glowed bright blue, and the flames stopped in their tracks, hovering in the air. Mega Gardevoir then sent the flames back at Emboar with its Psychic powers, causing them to swirl around him.

"B-Boar?! Emb!"

"Erase it with Scald!"

"Emb!" Emboar shot out a blast of boiling water towards the flames, causing them to evaporate into steam. The steam filled the area and provided a thick fog. This was the opportunity Emboar needed to strike.

"Now! Use Hammer Arm again!"

Emboar's arm glowed once more and he jumped up to hit Alpha from above, but she was ready for it.

"Hyper Beam!"

"Garde...!" Mega Gardevoir began to charge a massive ball of orange energy between her hands, which quickly expanded in size as she poured all of her power into it. The ball then turned into a beam, completely enveloping Emboar's body in a flash of intense light.

"Emboar!" Emboar was sent flying back from the force of the blast, crashing into the ground hard.

"Do not let up! Dazzling Gleam!"

"Gardevoir!" Gardevoir ascended, putting the pressure on. In her hands, she would throw a sphere of rainbows into the air, the sphere soon raining down multiple rainbow rays of energy. The rays rained down like a volley of arrows, striking Emboar and sending a shock of pain throughout his body.

"Emboar! Can you get up?!"

"Em... Boar...!" Emboar was determined to not give up, and he slowly got back onto his feet. He looked at Alpha with a fierce look on his face, and he prepared to continue fighting.

"Come on, Emboar!" Hilbert cheered on his own Pokemon from the sidelines, feeling so helpless that he couldn't help in any way. He just wished he could do something to save Braviary and the citizens. He wanted to stop Alpha from doing what she was trying to do. But he could only hope that Ash would be able to stop her and save everyone.

"We're not done yet." Ash grinned. "We still have some more! Just watch this!"

On the other side of this arena, Twilight Moonlight was still in disbelief at how she was losing this battle. She was now down to just her Hisuian Samurott as her head hung low.

"Please, Moonlight. You can still stop this." Twilight Sparkle pleaded with her. "You came to me with a different mindset, didn't you? So there's still a chance."

Twilight Moonlight just couldn't believe how much stronger her counterpart was than she was. She thought that she was the strongest among them. She was the one trained at the Arcane Institute. She had been honed and trained to be the greatest. Yet she was getting beaten.

"...I can still win." Twilight Moonlight said. "You may have taken out my other Pokemon, but I still have a chance of victory. I can't afford to lose. It's impossible for me to lose. I'm not weak!"

"Moonlight..." Twilight Sparkle uttered her name before thinking to herself. "It's strange...she's obviously conflicted but something's up. She keeps going and going. Could it be..."

Twilight Sparkle was starting to piece it together. There was one part within Twilight Moonlight that existed within all four Twilights. Something powerful that they draw upon and is what helps them through many things. Their emotions. Like many others, their magic is boosted by their emotions, but for each of the Twilights, although Twilight Wish seems to be the most gentle of them all, their emotions result in some of the most powerful and sometimes destructive magic ever.

They can do great things when they put their hearts into it, but when they get extremely emotional, their powers go out of control. It was clear that Twilight Moonlight was experiencing this. It has happened with Sci-Twi before after all. Midnight Sparkle is the representation of her negative and bottled emotions that resulted from the stress and isolation she felt.

Empress Twilight, while not a counterpart related to Twilight Luminaria, was still a counterpart regardless, and a version of Sci-Twi that fully succumbed to Midnight Sparkle. She had so much anger and hatred inside of her that her magic and powers were heightened, and her emotions were out of control and that was when Midnight Sparkle was able to truly take form and become her own individual self.

It's happened to Twilight Sparkle before, but in the form of Horizon Storm. Horizon wasn't as controlling as Midnight, but still a result of Twilight Sparkle' Emotions pouring out.

As for Twilight Wish, it was unknown if she's ever had a similar situation or if she can even feel such rage. Whatever the case, Twilight Sparkle was watching it happen to Twilight Moonlight as she stood there, looking so defeated.

"I...I'm not weak. I'm not. I won't be. I won't give up. I won't give in." Twilight Moonlight said to herself, her voice sounding more and more shaky by the minute. She was trying to keep herself together and not break down and cry, but it was hard for her. She was starting to lose it and her emotions were running wild.

"As long as I still have something of use, I can't lose. I won't!" Twilight Moonlight said to herself, her voice sounding more and more shaky by the minute. She was trying to keep herself together and not break down, but it was hard for her. She was starting to lose it and her emotions were running wild.

And because of this, the power of the Moonspace kept growing, responding to her emotions. It was a sign that Twilight Moonlight was starting to lose it. As such, a distortion within the Moonspace started to occur. The sky began to turn an even deeper blue, the floor began to crack and the air became cold and stale.

"This next one will count! It has to! Appear, Samurott!" Twilight Moonlight threw her last Poke Ball forward, sending out the final Pokemon she had left to fight for her.

"Samurrot!" Hisuian Samurott appeared, here to try and snag victory for his trainer.

Twilight Sparkle saw the way the Moonspace was reacting to Twilight Moonlight's emotions and knew that she had to help her counterpart calm down or else there could be serious consequences.

"Moonlight, calm down!" Twilight Sparkle shouted. "You're letting your emotions get out of hand!"

"I don't need to calm down! I need to win!" Twilight Moonlight yelled. "Samurott! Ascend into something even greater than yourself!" Suddenly, the tone in Moonlight's voice would change, sounding slightly different.

Twilight Sparkle knew that voice from anywhere. There was a tiny bit of Twilight Luminaria speaking through her. "Samurott! Ascend!" Moonlight repeated. Samurott would raise his head, the moonlight reflecting off his blades. The darkness of the Moonspace would then start to swirl around his body, causing him to glow in a blinding light. When the light disappeared, his form had changed entirely. He gained a Celestial Body, his entire body pattern and texture matching that of a starry night, and his armor now was a shining golden colour. Samurott had ascended to a new level, and his power was now greater than ever.

"Samurott...what have you become?!" Twilight Sparkle was in shock.

Celestial Samurott, a Pokemon that's reached Celestial Form. Thanks to the Moonspace, his power has ascended, and he's gained the power of the stars themselves. Something like this is what Twilight Luminaria was capable of and now, Twilight Moonlight was harnessing that power.

Samurrot was also massive, being as large as a building. Twilight was used to seeing Pokemon of this size, especially when they Dynamax, but this was different. It was like she was looking at an actual deity the way he was glowing and the way his texture changed.

"It's time to end this!" Twilight Moonlight yelled. She was no longer calm or stoic. Her emotions had been unleashed and she was letting them out in full force. She didn't seem to care anymore that she was losing control, only wanting to win at all costs. "Ceaseless Edge!"

"Samu!" Samurrot said as his blades would glow. With the speed of a lightning bolt, Samurott slashed at Espeon, only for Espeon to use Quick Attack at the last moment, just barely managing to zoom out of the way as the slash connected with the ground. The ground cracked and shattered, causing the area around them to shake violently. Pieces of the ground would go flying in different directions.

But even though the attack missed, the aftermath was a cluster of stars that would fly out of the ground, soaring at Espeon and hitting her. She was thrown to the ground, taking massive damage from the strike.

"E-Esp!" Espeon let out a cry of pain.

"Eve!" Twilight Sparkle yelled out in concern.

"Esp!" Espeon got back up. She had taken damage, but it wasn't anything too serious and it certainly wasn't enough to take her out of the fight.

"Alright, now it's our turn!" Twilight Sparkle shouted. "Eve, Psychic!"

Espeon would close her eyes and begin to concentrate. "Esp!" Suddenly, a powerful force of energy shot out from her body and slammed into Celestial Samurott, but it barely budged him at all. He was too strong and too big for such a simple attack to affect him.

"He didn't budge?!" Twilight said in shock.

"It'll take more than that!" Twilight Moonlight said, smiling darkly. "Now, Samurott, use Night Slash!"

"Samu! Samurott!" By slashing the air itself, Samurott managed to manipulate and control the night sky, the stars themselves shooting forward to slash Espeon. Espeon gasped as a part of the night sky was coming down on her.

"Dazzling Gleam!"

"Eon!" Espeon opened her eyes and a powerful beam of white energy shot out of her body. This beam of energy collided with the stars, causing them to shatter and scatter in all directions. The area around them became filled with sparkling fragments of the night sky, and Espeon's Dazzling Gleam was a brilliant white beam of energy, shining brightly and creating a bright light that was blinding to the eyes.

However, Espeon barely managed to destroy the attack before it reached her, her attack losing strength and dispersing. The stars fell down as Samurrot would approach Espeon, his massive size casting a shadow over her. Espeon looked up, staring at Samurrot's blades.

"Samurott, strike her with Ceaseless Edge!" Twilight Moonlight yelled. Samurott's blades would glow and he'd slash at the ground. The stars would shoot out of the ground and strike Espeon. She gasped as the attack sent her flying backwards, slamming into the wall behind her.

"There is no room for error! Never!" At that moment, Twilight Moonlight got involved, shooting a beam at Espeon while she was pinned against the wall. "Take this!" Moonlight yelled.

"Espe!" Eve screamed in pain, unable to get out of the way.

"Eve, no!" Twilight Sparkle shouted. She used her telekinesis, trying to pull Espeon out of the way. Just barely, she moved Espeon aside, allowing her to dodge the blast.

Twilight Moonlight would then ascend by using magic, levitating in the air. Twilight Sparkle looked up as her counterpart started gaining something on her back. Bursting out of her back, causing her body to strain and groan were wings made out of pure magic, and they were massive. She was able to use her wings to soar through the sky, her power increasing as she flew higher. Her magic was so great that it was able to hold her aloft and allow her to move freely. She was like a giant bird, soaring through the sky. Her movements were quick and fluid, and her power seemed to increase as she flew.

Thanks to the Moonspace, not only was she drawing out more of her deep hidden power, but she was temporarily an alicorn. Twilight knew that this would only last so long, but her counterpart had ascended to a new level of power. Even if it was brief.

But this brief ascendance would show just how much Twilight Moonlight could really do. Her horn would glow, a plethora of magical power shooting into the air. Twilight Moonlight's power was so immense, it was causing the Moonspace to shake. She had drawn so much power that she was causing the entire place to shake. The stars would shake and the moon would rumble.

However, it was more than just shaking the whole area. Something else was coming. Something out of this world. The stars would shake as everything went silent for a little while. Until Twilight looked up and saw it.

A Moon was descending. But this wasn't any ordinary moon. This was a massive celestial object that was not of this galaxy and it was glowing with a bluish white color. Whatever this moon was, it wasn't the one that Earth has always known. This Moon descended rapidly, the force of it entering the stratosphere causing the air to ripple and bend around it.

The ground was shaking violently as the moon approached. The whole Moonspace was starting to shake, and everyone could feel it. Twilight Sparkle looked up in awe, unable to process what she was seeing. She couldn't comprehend what was happening. But she believed she and Espeon could stop it.

"If that thing lands, we're done for! Use Dazzling Gleam!"

Espeon closed her eyes and began to concentrate. "Esp!" A powerful force of energy shot out from her body, shooting towards the moon. It slammed into the object, but the Moon wasn't going to be stopped by something like this. It took the attack, and the beam of energy was shattered instantly. The Moon continued its descent towards the Moonspace.

Espeon gasped in shock. She tried to keep the beam going, but the Moon was too big, too strong and her beam was too weak. She wasn't strong enough to stop the Moon. As it approached, Espeon's beam was shattered, and she collapsed, unable to keep it going.

"Eve!" Twilight looked over at Espeon, who was spent and too drained to keep on going. It was down to her to stop this as Twilight Moonlight laughed, feeling absolutely superior.

Universe 12. Years Ago. The Arcane Institute.

Ever since she became a student of the Institute, one thing always stuck in her mind. Be perfect. No matter what, she must be perfect at all times, or else everything she worked so hard for would be lost forever. It is this drive and determination that fuels her quest for perfection. Her dedication and commitment to her work is what makes her one of the best mages the Institute has ever seen.

When the Institute was founded, it was created with a single goal: To defeat Prisma. Twilight Moonlight was determined to defeat Prisma and bring peace to the world. She worked tirelessly for many years to perfect her magic and abilities, but never achieved the same level of power that Twilight Luminaria had. This drove her to work even harder and to become stronger than she had ever been before.

And in the eyes of her peers, she was perfect. She was better at them when it came to magic, learning faster than they can ever hope to and even managing to develop spells and rituals of her own that would serve as the best way to defeat the counterparts of Prisma. She even managed to develop spells that allowed her to control the flow of magic and bend the laws of physics. She became the top student of her class, and she was known for her impeccable skills in all areas.

She was the favoured student of Professor Grogar. She was given many special privileges, like the use of his personal study and access to the secret chambers in the Arcane Institute. She was able to study the ancient texts that were not available to anyone else and she even had the opportunity to learn from Grogar himself. This allowed her to learn the most powerful magic that she could and become a master of it in the process.

And since she was viewed as perfect, Moonlight believed that she truly was perfect. The one destined to bring peace to all by defeating Prisma. No one can and should be better than her. That is what she believed. She is the Chosen One and the only one who can bring the true peace everyone is striving for. She is perfect and everyone must see her as perfect.

Moonlight never had a single doubt in her mind that she was perfect. She had always been perfect in her mind and she would never accept any other truth.

"Moonlight. You are my most splendid student. And the one destined to stop the greatest destructive force there is." Grogar spoke to her. His words being like a wonderful melody to her ears. From when she was a child to even at her current adolescent ages, those words never left her mind. She always had to be perfect, and it has gotten her far in her academic studies, making her an unstoppable force.

The Perfect Pony.

Current Day.

And as she laughed, she was starting to feel vindicated. Vindicated that she was about to win and prove that she had what it takes. That she lived up to that status. That she truly was the chosen one. She had to be. She will be.

The Moon had struck the ground successfully. Her attack most definitely landed. However, to her confusion, there wasn't that much destruction at all. Not a speck of it. There were tremors, yes, but the place didn't completely fall apart or even unleash a crater. Moonlight snapped out of her laughing craze, confused as to why this was. Surely her attack landed, did it not?

But it didn't.

Instead, it was blocked.

By Twilight Sparkle and her Kartana.

"Tuc ot yhtrow gnihtemos. Tsal ta!" Kartana spoke. He was straining to hold the celestial object. But he was doing his best to keep her stance and keep the Moon from crushing everyone.

The force of the impact caused Twilight Sparkle to dig her hooves into the ground as the Moon tried to push her back. Twilight Sparkle grunted and pushed back, trying to keep the Moon from crushing her and everyone else in the area.

"B-But how?!" Twilight Moonlight tried understanding it. "How did you...?!"

"Harmony said it herself...This was something Twilight Luminaria had..." Twilight said while straining to push back the Massive Moon. "It's obviously the same. You're the one who managed to find it before the rest of us did...it suits you...it's a part of you..."

"Kh...!" Moonlight snarled.

"However...you and I are one in the same. We are both Twilight. Whether that be Sparkle, Moonlight or Luminaria. And because of that.." With awesome power and a spectacular glow in her eye that mimicked a glorious cluster of stars "The Moonspace is also mine to control!"

Twilight Sparkle had managed to tap into the power of the Moonspace as well. After all, she too was a reincarnation of Twilight Luminaria. She could feel the power flowing through her, and she was ready to unleash it. Her eyes glowed a bright blue and her horn began to glow with a brilliant light.

And with a powerful blast of magical energy, she sent the Moon back into the sky, and it vanished without a trace.

And with a powerful blast of magical energy, she sent the Moon back into the sky, causing it to fly towards Samurott and Twilight Moonlight. At the same time, Kartana approached the moon, ready to cut through it with Leaf Blade while approaching them both, ready to cut them down as well.

With perfect precision, he managed to cut through this massive moon the second it crashed into Samurott's large body. He was both hit by the moon and cut by Kartana, taking tremendous damage from the Leaf Blade. The moon was now split in two. One half flying off into the distance, while the other half had been completely obliterated. " S-Samu...!"

"Snigeb hsalc dnoces ruo. Emoc won. uoy tsniaga edalb ym gnitset morf em pots ton lliw ti, ytied a fo mrof eht ekat uoy fi neve!" Kartana declared, itching for the second round against Samurott at last.

At the same time, Twilight Sparkle felt an ascendance of her own. After tapping into the power of the Moonspace, the Princess of Friendship's magic was amplified. She felt a surge of energy course through her veins, and her eyes glowed with the power of the cosmos. This was essentially her way of harnessing Twilight Luminaria's magic.

However, she could do it without Luminaria herself taking control or influencing her in any way. This was Twilight Sparkle herself, wielding this power by her own will. And she was ready to unleash it upon the world. She was ready to face Twilight Moonlight and end the battle once and for all.

"It's not possible...you tapped into it that easily...?" Moonlight's voice quivered a bit. "How?! Who are you?!"

"Someone just like you." Twilight Sparkle declared, her voice echoing with a sense of authority. She stood tall and proud, her magic glowing brighter with each passing moment. Intimidated and starting to feel terrified, Moonlight unleashed a beam of light towards Twilight Sparkle. She had to stop her, but Twilight simply raised her hoof, summoning a protective sphere of energy around her. The light bounced off harmlessly as the sphere glowed, enveloping her in a brilliant aura of power.

Twilight Sparkle returned the favour, firing a blast of her own magical energy towards Moonlight. It was powerful and fast, and it struck her hard, knocking her back with a powerful force. As the blast connected, Moonlight was sent flying through the air, her body twisting and turning as she tried to regain control.

Twilight Sparkle had managed to block Twilight Moonlight's powerful attack with her own magical energy, but the battle was far from over. She knew that she had to remain focused and not let her guard down, especially since she had just discovered the Moonspace within her. Twilight Moonlight was not going to back down, and Twilight Sparkle was going to need all of her strength and cunning to take her down. As the battle raged on, Twilight Sparkle and Twilight Moonlight continued to exchange magical blasts, each one trying to overpower the other.

The way the various beams clashed in the air, it looked like shooting stars and a meteor shower. The two of them were moving at high speeds, trying to outpace one another while firing these beams in quick succession. These attacks were strong enough to cause shockwaves, sending ripples through the ground and the sky. Each blast had a resounding boom, like thunder, that shook the earth. As the two battled, the landscape around them began to change. The ground was scorched and cracked, with craters forming where their attacks had struck.

Similar to this strong clash was Ash vs Alpha. Their battle continued as well as Emboar continued to clash with Mega Gardevoir. "Hyper Beam!"

"Garde...!"

"Quick! Counter with Earthquake, Emboar!"

"Boar!" Emboar intercepted the incoming Hyper Beam by stomping his feet. The Hyper Beam struck his chest, but he endured it, gritting his teeth and then letting out a roar as the ground began to shake violently. Cracks began to form in the earth beneath his feet as he stomped down hard on the ground again, causing the ground beneath him to shake and crack even more.

"Now, use Psychic!"

"Voir!" Gardevoir held her arm out, attempting to lift him up with her psychic power. However, she soon realized that Emboar's weight was much heavier than expected, making it difficult to lift him. His body was not being pushed up at all. "Garde!" She was struggling to lift him with her Psychic attack, her arm trembling with effort.

"Emb!" Using this to his advantage, Emboar pressed his foot against the ground, causing golden shockwaves to start erupting all throughout the area, causing the ground to shake and tremble. The shockwaves radiated outward, causing the ground to shake even more violently, and eventually, they reached Gardevoir, who was struggling to stay on her feet as the ground shook beneath her. She was struggling to maintain her balance and was slowly being pushed back by the force of the shockwaves.

Soon, the shockwaves enveloped her, causing her to fall to the ground and become trapped within them. The shockwaves continued to ripple outward, growing in size and intensity, causing the ground to shake and tremble even more. Soon, the shockwaves began to cause massive cracks and fissures to form in the ground, and chunks of rock and soil began to break loose and fly into the air.

Eventually, the intensity of the shockwaves became too much and Gardevoir was launched into the air. "Voir!"

"Rain down Dazzling Gleam!"

"Garde!" Gardevoir would quickly shoot down as many rays as possible, attempting to bombard Emboar.

"B-Boar!" The rays came down heavy, rapidly beating down on his body. He was being pushed into the ground, the power of these beams raining down on him like a heavy downpour. Each impact sent shockwaves through his body, causing him to groan in pain.

"Emboar, don't give up!" Ash encouraged. "You can do this!"

"Emm..." Emboar felt the power of Dazzling Gleam pounding against him, each ray a powerful force that threatened to overwhelm him. But he refused to be beaten, his body shaking under the assault. His teeth clenched as he struggled to stay on his feet.

"We're not about to lose this!" Ash spoke. And at the same time, Twilight Sparkle would say the same thing in her battle, the two of them having similar things in mind. "We've got too much on the line for this!"

"Send them back, Emoar! Use Hammer Arm!"

"Emb! Emboar!" With a great roar, Emboar swung his arm downward in a massive hammer blow, smashing the ground with incredible force. The impact caused a shockwave to ripple outward, sending the rays flying back toward their source. The shockwave was powerful enough to shatter the ground beneath him, sending fragments of rock and debris flying in all directions.

At the same time, Kartana clashed blades with Hisuian Samurrot. Despite the titanic size difference, he was able to keep up and match his speed. His blade was able to deflect every slice of the katana Samurrot wielded.

Their blades rippled the air and split the clouds themselves, the cluster of stars flying out each time. It was a true clash of the titans, with the strength of the blades causing the winds to swirl and the earth to quake. The sound of metal on metal reverberated through the air as the two giants clashed, each one trying to overpower the other. With each strike, the air crackled with energy, the sparks flying as they fought.

The clash of their weapons was like a symphony of destruction, ringing in the ears of all those nearby. It was a battle of pure power and will, each trying to outdo the other. The blades clashed with such force that it seemed as though the very air was being sliced in half.

"Time to finish this!" Ash and Twilight Sparkle said at the same time. The two of them were thinking the same thing. Twilight put all her magic into this final blast while Kartana would prepare one last slash. Emboar intended on getting right in Gardevoir's face, lunging into the air to do so.

Gardevoir was still staggered from all of her own rays back at her, leaving her vulnerable to this attack. As soon as she opened her eyes, all she saw was the fist of Emboar smashing into her gut at full power. The air in her lungs was knocked out of her and her eyes were bulging out of her skull as she was slammed into the ground, her body sinking into the earth, cracking it in a wide radius.

Alpha was soon caught up in this as she was blown back too, her Quantum Cannon being destroyed completely. It was a complete victory for Ash. "No way..." She said to herself, not believing this.

And when Kartana slashed, it was like a storm of destruction. The force of the swing was so great that it seemed to shake the very foundations of the battlefield. The blade cut through the air, slicing through the air in a great arc. At the same time, Twilight fired her beam of magical energy, the blast of power flying straight out of her horn, striking Samurott dead on.

Samurott's Celestial Body was cut in half and obliterated, destroying it completely and revealing his true form within it. From it, he had been defeated along with Twilight Moonlight was overwhelmed by the blast. Both of them fell to the ground, utterly defeated. Twilight Sparkle won her fight.

With that, Ash and Twilight Sparkle had won the battle.

Both Twilight Moonlight and Alpha were down. Well, Alpha was really on one knee, but it counts. Twilight's eyes returned to normal as the Moonspace would vanish, fading away.

All fell silent as this area had taken enough damage from this wild battle. Ash took a deep sigh, lowering his head as Pikachu jumped on his shoulder. He had done it.

Twilight Moonlight laid on her back, absolutely defeated. For the first time, she finally tasted true defeat. For the first time, she felt what failure felt like. And it felt terrible. She looked up at the stars and the moon. She wondered what her Professor would think of her right now. She had failed, and it was all her fault. She should have done better. She shouldn't have let her emotions get in the way. She should have been stronger.

She was angry at herself for letting this happen. But more importantly, she was not the strongest Twilight as she thought she was. It seemed that Twilight Sparkle claimed that title.

"I lost...all of that training, studying...and yet I lost..." She said to herself, looking up at the stars. She sighed, closing her eyes. "I can't believe it..."

Twilight Sparkle walked up to her, smiling at her. She offered a hand to her to help her up. "Are you alright?"

"I'm not okay...Not one bit." Twilight Moonlight replied. "But...I can't deny the fact that I'm not the perfect pony I thought I was. Nor am I fit to stop Prisma...It seems that...you are the on who fits that role."

"I don't want to be seen as perfect." Twilight Sparkle said, still offering her a hoof. "None of us are perfect, no matter how hard we may try to be. We all have flaws. And that's okay, it's what makes us who we are. The old me would've hated those words. But now, I have friends to help remind me."

"..." Hearing that and finally losing made Twilight Moonlight realize it all. This whole time, she was going up against a group of friends who had a massive advantage over her. They acknowledged their flaws, but unlike her, they could work with everything else they had. They had their bonds. They had their hearts. And they had each other. Moonlight always rejected Friendship. But in the end, it defeated her. "...What a fool I have been..." She started tearing up, unable to hold back tears.

For the first time in her life, she cried. She cried so hard. This wasn't a tear of joy or anything. She was crying tears of sadness and regret. She was a fool who had the power to prevent this tragedy but failed. And now, she does not believe she can return.

Twilight smiled at this before passing out from using so much power. She would fall to the side, laying next to Moonlight. The two would lay there, Twilight Sparkle passed out while Moonlight kept crying, letting out years of held-back emotions. On this night, in this universe, the One Light achieved a large victory over the Arcane Institute as the journey continues.
