My Little Pokémon: Grander World
A Twisted Universe
Previous ChapterNext ChapterThe Ultalysium Dynasty. Nightfall.
Fluttershy had been turned into a monster.
Ash and Brock could hardly believe his eyes, the young mare had changed so drastically, yet retained her recognizable features. It wasn't just her appearance that was different. She seemed more aggressive and violent, growling and hissing at the duo of trainers.
Ash, too, was stunned to the point of silence, not able to muster a word at the sight of his beloved pony pal, a normally docile and timid creature. Now, she was the antithesis of that. She had been corrupted and altered, becoming a monstrous beast in the process. How could such a sweet soul turn into such an unrecognizable force of nature? It didn't feel right, not at all.
"She is quite the ferocious beast. Perhaps due to the effects of her corruption. Either that or this is an inherent part of her." Magnestra mused, enjoying the looks on Ash's and Brock's faces. "She is known in legend as a Primeavel Moon Serpent, and her fury is that of an undying, burning star. Those who gaze upon her in their final moments are doomed to suffer an eternity of torment and anguish, trapped within her eternal flames." The Alicorn would pause, seeing the two men stare in disbelief at the monster that was before their eyes. "...Well, not that I've seen myself, though that is what the legends say."
"You turned my friend into a monster?!" Ash uttered with audible and visible anger. He couldn't keep his rage hidden after all that, and was ready to lash out.
"Pikachu!" His partner agreed. This was beyond messed up and a new low had to be reached.
"Correction. Friends. She is but one of a few that have been transformed into the exact opposite of what was intended. Unfortunate, but a change regardless."
"Hey! Bring her back right now!" Ash yelled, his hands curled into fists. "Bring back my friend, NOW!!"
"Hah. Oh, no, that is not happening, my foolish human." Magnestra chuckled. "Once someone is transformed into either an alicorn or a monster, there is no coming back to the way they were. We can only change them back to their normal form and that's that. They can't return to being a regular mortal. Their lives are changed forever." The alicorn's voice became darker and heavier.
"Forever...?"
"You might not want to admit it, but she belongs to the kingdom, to Ultalysium and to the Zeniths now, not to the likes of you. It's time to move on and accept that fact. The sooner you accept this truth, the less painful it will be. Your precious little Fluttershy has been taken away, stolen from her world. There's nothing left for you here, no hope, no future, and certainly no friends."
"Gh...!" Something like this was enough to build up Ash's anger. And by extension, build up the Soul of Prisma deep within. It would pulse and surge, trying to manifest once more, the entity's desire to escape its prison and inflict pain upon the alicorn was strong.
"Ash! But it took Brock's voice to snap the boy from his trance-like state and he shook his head, his attention shifting from the angry alicorn to the concerned older male. "Don't listen to her, alright?" The older, former Gym Leader said with a serious tone of voice, placing his hands on the younger's shoulders. "I get how mad and hurt you are. But she's only saying that because this is her universe. Back home, I know for a fact we have ways to reverse this."
"...Right." Ash's clenched his teeth, knowing that Brock had a valid point. He didn't like this one bit, but at the moment, they couldn't afford to get sidetracked from the task at hand.
"Hey, Ash. Pikachu..." Fluttershy was still able to speak, her words reaching the trainer and his partner, her eyes narrowing, a sense of hostility and aggression in her posture. She wasn't acting the same way, not anymore. Now she was a threat, an obstacle. This wasn't the friendly pony from Ponyville. This was the Primeval Moon Serpent, a creature of myth, a force of nature that was hostile and volatile, not at all the kind and gentle pony that Ash knew.
"Come here and really look at how I've turned out. Amazing, isn't it?" Fluttershy showed a twisted smile. She began to circle the two humans in a slow and methodical way. Her long serpentine body, which seemed to stretch on forever, was moving silently. The Primeval Moon Serpent would slither closer, her forked tongue flickering, the air filled with tension, her gaze intense and focused.
"Pikachu. Let's play together like we usually do."
"Pika..." Pikachu lurched backwards, horrified to see his friend like this.
"Facing off against one of your own will make things all the more interesting." Magnestra snickered. "Try and outsmart your way out of this one. I bet you don't have the guts or spirit to harm your dearest friends, even when they're attacking you."
"I'm not gonna fight her!" Ash snapped back. "That's crazy!"
"Oh, but I am afraid that's the rules. You have to battle in order to pass to the next challenge." Magnestra remarked, a cruel gleam in her eyes. She found delight in the idea of forcing the human to battle his friend. "And besides! Right now, you don't have a choice in all of this!"
Fluttershy would hiss, her massive tail being raised in the air before slamming down. The entire area quaked and rumbled, the impact sending tremors through the battlefield, a cloud of dust enveloping everything in sight. As the dust cleared, Ash, and his Pokémon could see that a huge chunk of the ground had been split in two, leaving behind an impressive fissure that was a result of her immense strength.
"Fluttershy, wait!" Ash called out to her. "Come on! You know it's us!"
"I do. I've never actually had a battle with you, Ash. I've always battled alongside you, acting as a support trainer more than anything. But now, I'm strong enough to contest with you. I'd say even be better than you!" Fluttershy would then charge forward. The serpent lunged, its mouth open, the razor sharp teeth gleaming in the light, and Ash had to leap aside, barely evading the snapping jaws.
She would then change her direction, going for Brock next. Brock also managed to barely avoid the fangs and the swipe of her clawed paw. With her long and sinewy body, the alicorn would try to constrict both trainers at once, attempting to wrap her coils tightly around them to immobilize the humans and squeeze them into submission.
But thanks to Emboar holding back her massive body, he prevented the coil, giving them time to gain some distance. "Em...Emboar!"
"Emboar! Don't hurt her, okay?!"
"Boar!" Emoar understood. He would try his best but it wouldn't be easy. A Pokemon like him was all about pure offence after all.
"You're in my way, Emboar. Kindly move aside. Fluttershy grinned as from her eyes, she unleashed a lunar flare. By charging up concentrated moonlight, Fluttershy released a brilliant, silvery beam from her mouth. This intense, crescent-shaped blast was a display of raw lunar energy, its luminosity a stark contrast to the dimness of the environment. The sheer power of the blast was evident in the trembling of the terrain, causing the earth beneath her to crack and shake. This wasn't the usual Fluttershy, this was a much more malicious and powerful version, unafraid to unleash her full potential on her target.
The blast would go flying, crashing into the fire pig. It was an incredibly powerful move that hit him directly in the face, sending him staggering back a couple of paces, momentarily disoriented and vulnerable. The blast left a visible mark on the fiery pig's fur and skin. Emboar felt a searing pain and the attack knocked him back.
"E-Em!" He was still a bit bewildered from his battle with Frosmoth, leaving the Fire Pig Pokemon weakened.
"Return, Emboar!" Ash promptly brought him back, letting Emboar rest up. "Thanks for the help."
"I don't think I can solve this with my doctor knowledge! The best thing we can do is try and knock her out, Ash!" Brock opted for a total knockout of Fluttershy to solve this. As much as he didn't wish to do so, Brock saw no other option.
"But..." Ash grit his teeth, not wanting to take that option. To harm his friend was terrible to him.
"Hehehe! Not so confident now, are we?" Magnestra taunted, cackling and pointing her hoof at Ash. "I told you! The heart is a vulnerable thing. And it's going to get even better from this point onwards with the rest of your friends. I believe four of them have already been turned, meaning there's one more left. Who knows. Maybe she'll become an alicorn."
"Why you...!" Ash gazed at Magnestra.
"If you want, we can give you a sneak peek at the process. But telling you is also good enough to weaken you. In the building that they were transformed in, all that magic that entered their body was meant to make the transition a seamless one, but because they weren't compatible or whatever, it instead changed them in ways that weren't intended. It's not a perfect system. It's a gamble, a random lottery of chance that has the possibility to fail at times, as you can plainly see."
Ash couldn't help but wonder about the fate of his remaining companions, his thoughts wandering to Rarity and Rainbow Dash, the ones he cared for and the two that were most dear to him in his heart.
"Their magic was different. Completely unstable with ours. It only adds up. You are not from this universe after all. Naturally, the process was somewhat painful. Imagine having a foreign energy invade every part of their beings. It would be agonizing. They had to resist the transformation and their bodies couldn't handle the influx of power. So they underwent a radical change to compensate." She chuckled darkly, watching Ash and Pikachu grow more and more enraged.
Fluttershy attacked once more, flicking her tail and sending glowing, star-like scales into the air. These scales started raining down as projectiles, exploding into bursts of light upon impact. "So, Ash! Are you ready to throw the towel in yet, or will you continue to embarrass yourself?"
"Fine! If that's how it's gonna be, I'll play along! Pikachu. Do me a favor. Try to stun her. We'll bring her to her senses!" Pikachu nodded at Ash's command. "Quick, buddy! Use Iron Tail and aim right at her head!"
"Pikaaa...Chuuu!." His yellow friend let loose a Thunderbolt that zapped the Primeval Moon Serpent, who flinched at the shock and hissed at him. She quickly recovered and prepared to attack. The alicorn opened her mouth, releasing an orb of bright purple energy, aiming straight at Pikachu.
The rodent was fast enough, however, to dodge the incoming projectile. Pikachu would jump to avoid the strike, using the momentum to launch his own counter-attack. Using the power of his Iron Tail, the Mouse Pokémon slammed his metallic appendage hard onto her skull. With the impact, the pony reeled back.
"Sorry about this, Fluttershy! We'll get you back! I promise!" Ash cried out to her as she simply hissed at him.
"Help out, Steelix!" Brock threw a Poke Ball out, bringing Steelix out for assistance.
"Steelix!" The Iron Snake was a formidable opponent and could aid in the fight, and his added weight would provide an extra measure of protection. Even so, it wouldn't be an easy battle.
Fluttershy retaliated by scattering her scales once more, raining them down yet again. Steelix would shield his friends from these descending scales and the resulting flashes of explosive, lunar energy. "Steel!"
"Pikachu! Use Electroweb!"
"Pika!" Pikachu would leap into the air, forming an orb of electricity on his tail that he'd slam to the ground, causing an electrical wave of sparks to paralyze Fluttershy, stunning her. The serpent would roar, struggling against the electrical charge, her whole body writhing and spasming from the jolts. Her tail whipped around wildly, trying to shake off the electric shocks.
"Ash...Pikachu...!" She angrily screamed their name while flailing around frantically.
"Now, Iron Tail again!"
"Pika! Pikachu!" Pikachu would go in for another Iron Tail, rushing towards the Primeval Moon Serpent. And once he lunged into the air, going in for a swing, FLuttershy's facial expression changed.
"W-Wait...Pikachu!" It was the expression of her usual self. One showing absolute fear and worry. Pikachu knew those eyes anywhere, causing him to gasp and hold back his attack.
"P-Pika?!"
"Fell for it~" But it was an obvious trap. Fluttershy now had Pikachu in a vulnerable moment as she flashed her eyes at him. By doing so, she summoned a whirling storm of silvery mist and glowing debris, engulfing the yellow mouse. The swirling winds and glowing debris buffeted and blinded the poor thing.
Within the vortex of silver and shining fragments, the alicorn coiled her body and lashed her long and powerful tail at the defenseless Pikachu. Her massive form towered over the small and frail Pokemon, the impact sending him flying across the field and into the dirt, rolling to a halt at the edge of the arena. The ferocity and precision of her attack left him stunned and disorientated. "Heh. And here I thought you had a brain in that skull of yours. Shame."
"P-Pika...!" Pikachu groaned, getting on one knee while looking up at Fluttershy.
The crowd cheered once more, clearly showing their bias and supporting the pony in the match-up.
"Man. This isn't fair at all." Brock grimaced, knowing that the situation was just plain unfair and that they didn't have the advantage. They couldn't exactly go all out on a friend of theirs. That would just end in tragedy.
"Well, I mean, that is the entire idea, is it not?" Magnestra remarked in response to their observation. "After all, if life were to be a fair experience, then nobody would ever complain, would they?" Her tone dripped with smugness and superiority, relishing the struggle of her opponents. She had set the rules of the game, and to her, victory was assured. Their struggles and complaints only served to entertain and fuel her own ego.
Elsewhere in the Dynasty, Twilight Sparkle had returned from the Greater Expanse thanks to Twilight Luminaria. Her body fell to the floor, landing in front of the ponies who brought her there in the first place.
"Ngh..." Twilight groaned while downed, the alicorns that stood before her unaware of what had transpired in there. To them, they believed Twilight's role had been decided upon by the All-Seeing. But that was far from the truth.
"Well, that's that. But usually, no one falls over when they return from the All-Seeing." One of the alicorns noted. It was peculiar, and something that the alicorn had never seen before. Usually, those that came from the Greater Expanse did not collapse in such a way, which left the alicorn curious and puzzled.
"Ugh..."
Twilight, on the other hand, had a vision of a future that could very well happen, a possible future, a probable future. The All-Seeing and All-Consuming wanted her. And while they couldn't escape that realm, she still feared the possibility. But right now, she was worried about her friends and their safety. Right as the alicorns went to pick her up, Twilight finally found the moment to use her magic in retaliation.
She got back up, unleashing a potent outburst of magic that sent the two alicorns flying backwards and into the wall, pinning them. With a burst of energy, the mare teleported herself to a far-off location, hoping to lose her pursuers, and began running. The alicorns would be shocked, not expecting her to retaliate and defend herself in such a way. And so, the alicorns pursued the fleeing pony, their magical powers aiding in their search, the sound of teleportation ringing in the distance, alerting them to the pony's continued attempts to escape.
"I need to find the others." Twilight panted. Se took flight, immediately flying through the Dynasty just to find her friends. She would rather have to brave this alone and not drag them in than to leave the group behind.
She moved across the long hallways of the castle, finding many rooms and areas that seemed unfamiliar. The palace itself was enormous. She had no clue where anything was, not being a native to this place. Other alicorns spotted Twilight in a rush, attempting to stop her in her tracks but would fail, the alicorn forcing her way through.
"Hey! Did you get your role assi-" An alicorn cried out before being blasted by Twilight's magic, not wanting to hear her question.
Another alicorn tried to grab her, but she would evade, teleporting further ahead of him, continuing on. Twilight's heart pounded as she navigated the intricate, winding corridors of the palace. Every corner, hallway, and room seemed the same, making it a challenge to track where the others were and what their condition might be. Panic rose inside her, her breathing ragged, as she desperately searched for a sign, a clue, anything to guide her to the rest of her companions.
The other alicorns cast spells towards Twilight Sparkle, shooting beams of pure magic at her. However, her own magical abilities proved to be stronger and swifter, and the mare was able to deflect or redirect their attacks, ensuring that not one of the spells could strike her.
For every spell that came her way, Twilight had a counter spell ready to intercept or repel it. She repelled many spells that came her way, knowing the perfect thing to respond with. "I'm doing fine but...this universe is said to be overflowing with magical energy. And yet, I don't feel it one bit!"
There was a strong lack of overflowing magical energy in here that Twilight noticed. Not that it wasn't there, but because it didn't exactly resonate within her. As she flew past another corridor, the doors opened to reveal a plethora of guards. These weren't alicorns but the strange-looking constructs that were composed entirely of golden energy, radiating an ethereal and menacing presence. Each of them wore an expression of determination and hostility on their face. Without a second thought, they lunged at Twilight, intending to restrain and apprehend her.
"Halt, rogue alicorn." The guards spoke in unison. "As the esteemed Enlighters, you shall not advance from this point."
They were known as Enlighters. Golden, radiant figures of divine appearance that acted as guardians or warriors of celestial beings, and their task was to enforce order and obedience in the dynasty, acting on behalf of their masters, the Zenith Assembly.
With her quick reflexes, she deflected and dodged their assaults, keeping a few steps ahead of her would-be captors. As she sprinted away, her thoughts were consumed by the pressing need to find her companions, fearing that the clock was ticking against her and her chances of saving the rest of her friends.
"You're in my way!" Twilight growled at the Magiguards, releasing an absolutely destructive blast of magical power, knocking them away. But they wouldn't stay down. Instead, their forms would begin to regenerate. Though their physical bodies had been damaged, their essence remained intact. Their injuries would disappear, their forms reforming as if nothing had ever happened.
The Magiguards, composed of pure magical essence, would rise up again, undeterred by the blast. Despite the setback, they continued to pursue their quarry. "What?!"
They would chase after Twilight and fire bolts of golden magic that were fast like lightning. The mare would keep evading the projectiles and unleash a wave of force, sending the Magiguards crashing into a row of statues, shattering them and leaving a mess in the hallway.
Yet, the damage to the surroundings was inconsequential, for the statues, like everything else, were composed of raw energy, capable of mending themselves without intervention. The pieces of the broken statues would float and gravitate towards each other, seamlessly reforming the original structure, erasing any evidence of the chaos that had occurred moments before.
The pursuit would continue, the alicorns and Magiguards chasing the lavender-colored pony. Eventually, Twilight was cornered at a dead-end. But dead-ends meant nothing to her. Not when she could blast her way through the walls.
And so she did.
The wall was obliterated, causing the alls to be sent flying while also disrupting and startling the ponies in the room. "Ash...Everyone...where are you?!"
As this chase continued, elsewhere within this massive palace, at last, Harmony was starting to wake up. When she awoke, her body felt weak, and her vision was blurry. Her head throbbed, and her muscles ached, as though she had been through a long and strenuous battle. It was almost impossible to move. She was feeling exhausted.
Since she used so much magic to ensure everyone wouldn't end up in that Null Realm, the fused alicorn was out of commission for a while. She was drained. No longer having access to that amazing and powerful form, and was currently reverted back into a normal, purple unicorn. A part of her hair was covering her face. Slowly opening her eyes, her vision adjusted, revealing a grand and ornate bedroom. The room was large, spacious, and adorned with exquisite decorations and furnishings, making her feel like she had awoken in a royal suite fit for a princess.
Where was she?
"Did I do it...?" Harmony said to herself before sitting up. "I did, didn't I?! This isn't the Null Realm, so this must be another universe. Meaning, I've saved everyone! Thank goodness. Oh, dear Arceus, that was close!"
However, even though she saved everyone from the Null Realm, in reality, she brought them all to a place that was horrifying in its own right. She didn't know that yet. And she wouldn't until some time had passed. For now, the only thing on her mind was the fact that her mission had been completed.
"Alright...Where am I even?" Harmony looked at the room she was currently in, seeing the decor. It was quite different from the other universes she'd seen in the multiverse. "This place seems pretty regal. Is this a palace or a mansion?"
To figure out where she was and to know where the others are, Harmony used a spell that would allow her to see at great distances and peer through solid objects, such as walls and ceilings, in a short radius. She would have to use this spell several times to gain a clear understanding of her current whereabouts and determine her next steps in the new dimension.
"Scry, Scry, Scrying Eye! Give me a peek of the area we are in!" After chanting, her horn would give off a bright, red glow that would extend across the room. Thanks to her scrying ability, she'd get to see more of the interior, allowing her to grasp a clearer picture of the space.
She saw that she was in a magnificent palace with outstanding architecture. It had soaring spires that reached towards the sky and vast, disturbingly vast grounds that stretched in every direction, the palace was a true architectural marvel.
But the most interesting thing wasn't the design of the palace, it was the creatures roaming about. Ponies, hundreds of thousands of ponies were present. From what Harmony could see, all of them had horns, wings and a mixture of both. This was something that intrigued her. She had never encountered a world that was populated solely by ponies with a combination of horns, wings, or a combination of both.
"All Alicorns? A world of Alicorns?" Harmony said to herself, taking a longer look at the palace's design. "This must be a universe filled to the brim with magic. How intriguing! Maybe the Celestia here can help us out!"
It would make sense for the alicorns to have a palace and rule over the world. After all, alicorns were regarded as incredibly rare in her home world. So perhaps, these alicorns were similar in the sense of rarity and had a higher status than other races and types of beings. She figured that the rulers here were alicorns, too.
Now, it was a matter of figuring out how to meet and interact with the royalty in this particular dimension. Because of the differences between the universes, the alicorns' culture, customs, and laws may vary greatly. Therefore, Harmony needed to exercise caution to avoid unintentionally disrespecting the rulers or committing a cultural faux pas that could result in serious consequences.
But what she saw caught her off guard. She managed to look into one of the rooms that involved turning other ponies into alicorns. And right now, she witnessed how the residents of Mirados City were undergoing that method, restrained by magical bonds, unable to resist. Some would be struggling against the transformation, and the pain would cause their faces to contort from all the magic flowing within.
"What?!"
While witnessing this horrific act, the door to her bedroom slammed open. There, standing in the doorway, was an imposing figure of an alicorn. The alicorn's stature was impressive, with a height that towered over Harmony.
"You're awake, I see." The alicorn stated, looking at the lavender unicorn.
"Uh...yeah. What is the meaning of this?" Harmony asked, raising a brow at the alicorn. She didn't understand why an alicorn would come and check in on her, or anyone really.
"You were already chosen the second you showed up. Your role has already been established without even needing to head to the All-Seeing." He spoke to her. "Lucky you. Your mere appearance granted you that benefit. Unlike the other one who had nothing to show her status."
"Other one...? You mean Twilight?! What happened to her?! And what's this all about."
"You can worry about that later. Right now, you've already been assigned to an important role. That is your duty in our world, and you should not reject that. In fact, it would be unwise to reject it." The alicorn explained to Harmony. "Your friend, that Princess, is still undergoing a trial that will decide her role in the Ultalysium Dynasty."
"Ultalysium Dynasty...?"
"That is the name of this world, the dynasty, the society and the nation." The alicorn elaborated. "But it doesn't seem that's the question you're asking, is it?" The alicorn approached the unicorn, staring deep within her soul, intimidating her. "Worry not. The young princess is about to undergo a special day and we expect you to partake in it."
"Hold on!" This was all too swift for Harmony. "I have so many more questions! For starters! You're going to tell me what you're doing to everypony else! And where my friends are!"
"Hm." The alicorn scoffed. "We were made aware that you would resist. But that is of no worry. Your magic is clearly strained and the Magiguards made extra measures to limit you while you were asleep. Now, please come along."
"As if!" Harmony would try and force a bolt of pure light at the alicorn but would realize that her powers were not working at their fullest. A surge of discomfort rippled through her body as the attempt to channel her magic met with a disturbing resistance, causing her to feel weak, drained and powerless.
She could not believe what had just transpired, and a sudden, unsettling chill coursed through her. It seemed that the very source of her magic was cut off from her, and that her connection to her beloved and potent abilities had vanished, leaving her vulnerable and helpless in the face of danger. The alicorn smirked at the pony. "Hm. Exactly what we expected from someone who was overexerting themselves. You won't be using much magic, or at least, the amount that could overpower a powerful alicorn like myself." He said to her.
"Are the preparations going well?" Another alicorn asked, entering the room.
"Oh, very much so. The Princess is more than happy for what is coming. I'd say it's a truly momentous occasion." The first alicorn replied. "But this one might be a lot of trouble."
"It's fine. She and many others won't be a threat for us for too long. Especially not those two humans out in the stadium."
Speaking of which, the confrontation against the transformed Fluttershy continued. The goal of knocking her out was still burning strong, even if Ash hated the thought of attacking Fluttershy. Pikachu's Iron Tail clashed with Fluttershy's tail while Steelix sent a Stone Edge at Fluttershy.
However, the Primeval Moon Serpent coil herself into a massive spiral, summoning a gravitational pull that draws everything toward it, creating a miniature lunar vortex.
Pikachu jumped back, evading the vortex while Steelix managed to nullify it with Dragon Breath. The attack clashed ith the vortex, causing the two of them to combust, shaking the stadium.
"If you were really serious about this Ash, you would've probably won by now." Fluttershy began taunting him as the dust and smoke started clearing. "You're still too afraid to seriously harm me. You and Pikachu. But how could you? You could never badly hurt little ol' me, would you?" She flashed her eyes at them both, trying to look innocent and adorable, in a vain attempt to manipulate them.
"This is the worst...!" Ash growled as this was very true. A strong part of him just didn't want to badly hurt Fluttershy all that much, but fighting back was the best option right now. If only there was an opportunity to strike her and defeat her, he'd be able to win.
"Hm...They're still hanging in there and lasting far longer than they should." Magnestra was not too fond of how much Ash and Brock were holding their own. "Perhaps using one at a time isn't going to do the trick. Let's spice it up. Send in the second one."
An order was made to bring in a second pony that had been turned into a monster. Not just to overwhelm Ash and Brock but to also attack Ash's heart once more. The door to the arena opened, and a new figure appeared. It was another corrupted pony. A tall and menacing creature emerged.
"Fluttershy isn't enough. Perhaps you should face this opponent." Magnestra spoke, revealing the corrupted pony.
Yet again, much to Ash's horror, it was another one of his friends.
The creature in question was standing nearly 15 feet tall. Her mane blazes like the sun at high noon, with strands of fire streaming down her neck and shoulders, constantly flashing as if alive. Her eyes were like miniature suns, glowing with an intense, golden light. Plus, she had a long, sinuous tail ends in a cluster of sunstone shards, glowing with fiery embers that scatter as it moves.
The pony that took on this large form was none other than Rainbow Dash. She stood there, glaring at her old friends.
"R-Rainbow Dash..." Ash stuttered. It was bad that Fluttershy was in the same position. Now it was getting worse. Magnestra laughed at Ash's expression while the two Monstrous versions of his friends looked down on him.
"Feast your eyes on the Sky Sun Lion!" Magnestra announced to Ash, taunting him more and more.
All the while, it was building up. More and more, Prisma's soul was starting to build up from within him, influencing him, controlling him and his actions. With the anger, frustration and sadness that was brewing from inside his body and soul, things were bound to change.
And the same could be said about Hilbert. Despite being a spirit now, he could still feel the anger as well. Especially since he had a bond with Rainbow Dash. Due to this, both Ash and Hilbert were feeling Prisma's soul increase in intensity.
And at this rate, it might unleash, awakening them once more and allowing Prisma to take action once more. Neither wanted that outcome, but it was starting to look rough and dire to the point where another awakening might soon come.
As the journey continues.
