My Little Pokémon: Grander World
The Greatest Awakening
Previous ChapterNext ChapterAnother Universe. The Ultalysium Dynasty. Nightfall.
At the main palace, the higher-ups received a telepathic message. A message from the All-Seeing. It was about Twilight Sparkle and how the All-Seeing desired her to be back in her realm once more. Someone like her could not escape.
"All-Seeing...What is it?" One of the alicorns questioned. The response came to the group as a whole in the form of the cosmic entity's psychic message.
"Twilight Sparkle. Do everything you can to bring her to me. She is far too vital to miss and ignore. I order you and every alicorn to put your efforts into bringing her back to my realm."
"But...wasn't her role chosen already?" Another alicorn.
"Oh, she has a role. But it is not among you all." The All-Seeing replied, surprising the alicorns. This wasn't what they were expecting. A member of their race, someone that had the blessing of a powerful being was to have a role that was not in the Dynasty? What could this mean for the alicorn in question?
The All-seeing would go further, giving them the reason. "It would be better if her role were to serve under my direct authority. Her abilities are far too potent and powerful, even in comparison to other alicorns. She is above you all. And because of that, her powers will benefit her, and myself, the most."
"Impossible?! That alicorn is better than us?! But she's not even from this universe. How can that possibly be?!"
This left the alicorns stunned, and shocked that a pony who wasn't even from their dimension was to surpass everyone. Such an alicorn had to be truly incredible.
"All-Seeing. Surely, there's a mistake, right? She looks to be younger than all of us and yet she has a greater purpose? Even than us? You can't be serious, right? She has no experience. None of that kind of wisdom or intelligence. Nor would she have any of that potential that would help you. Why her and not us?" These were all questions the alicorns were asking themselves and the All-Seeing.
"Silence. You heard me correctly. She is to serve me. Not the Ultalysium Dynasty. Me." Was the response. Despite their protests and questions, the alicorns could not deny that the being had made their intentions quite clear. "She will try and fight back, but do everything in your power to make sure she comes to me. Do not fail me. And of course, begin the spell that will allow me to temporarily leave my realm."
"Understood." The alicorns bowed to the All-Seeing "We will not disappoint you. We will bring her to the palace and prepare the ritual that will let you pass through the barrier and enter our realm, Your Greatness. Everything will be done in your name."
Rainbow Dash had been transformed as well. How horrible it was to see another one of his friends emerge as a monster. She soon joined the battle, here to overwhelm Ash and Brock. She appeared as a monster known as a Sky Sun Lion while still keepign traces of her original appearance here and there.
"Check me out, Ash." Rainbow Dash smirked. "This is a way better upgrade. I'm gonna have a ton of fun with the rest of Equestria." She stated, taking a stance, preparing to lunge forward.
"Not Rainbow Dash too..." Ash was horrified. Both of the ponies were now transformed and ready to destroy him and his Pokémon.
"Not too shabby, huh?" Rainbow Dash snickered. "I would've preferred something else, but this is fine. I can still fly even like this." She said to him. "Can't wait to kick the stuffing out of you!"
Rainbow Dash was ready to pounce on him. Before that, however, a gust of wind from her wing caused a cloud of debris and sand to swirl around him. Pikachu, who was next to Ash, leaped to the side to avoid the impact, landing nearby with a determined gaze.
He knew that his partner needed time to process the shock and that it was up to him to hold off their adversaries. Using his agility, Pikachu zoomed towards Fluttershy, aiming to distract and stall her from harming his trainer any further.
Meanwhile, Steelix roared and lunged at the monstrous Rainbow Dash, his sturdy, snake-like body coiling and thrashing to keep her engaged in the fight, hoping that their efforts would buy some precious time for Ash to regather his thoughts and devise a strategy to confront his twisted friends.
Yet, in the middle of the battle, his focus was being greatly attacked. It was becoming harder for him to concentrate on anything, especially when the enemy was someone that was his friend.
Fluttershy's serpentine body lunged at him. However, before she could sink her fangs into his skin, a blast of energy exploded in front of her. Her head snapped back from the force, and her body was flung backward.
Rainbow Dash attacked by emitting a defeaning roar that released a shockwave of sunlight, blinding Pikachu and Steelix, sending a wave of pressure that threw them both to the side. Pikachu was launched into a wall and hit the ground. Meanwhile, the powerful slam caused cracks to appear on Steelix's metallic scales. Both were sent crashing to the ground.
As the chaos unfolded, Magnestra's maniacal laughter filled the arena. As if sensing their hesitation, her voice boomed. "Come on, you can do better than that! Are you really that pathetic? Or is that all the strength that you have to give?"
"Yeah, Ash! I know you're better than this!" Rainbow Dash would taunt him as well. "C'mon, put on a real fight, why don't cha? It'll be more entertaining than what we've had to endure from everyone in Equestria." The alicorns were mocking and humiliating the heroes, trying to provoke their anger and break their will to fight.
Just then, Fluttershy slithered toward the young trainer, her movements silent and her approach undetectable. Just as the beast was about to reach the unsuspecting boy, the serpent's movement came to a halt. Her attention was diverted by a bright yellow blur that suddenly leapt into the fray, tackling her from the side.
In an instant, a fierce struggle ensued, with the mighty Steelix wrapping its body tightly around the writhing form of the corrupted pony, locking her in its powerful embrace. Steelix constricted its massive, metal-plated body around the transformed creature, squeezing with incredible force to subdue it and protect its trainer.
"Steel!"
"L-Let me go!" Fluttershy hissed, her tail thrashing and striking the ground, her fanged maw snapping in fury as her body quivered in rage. Her entire demeanor became that of an animal, wild and untamed, devoid of the gentleness that characterized the real Fluttershy. She seemed driven solely by instinct and a desire to cause harm to those she had once cherished and protected. She had no intention of showing her opponents mercy, her only desire was to inflict suffering upon the young boy and his allies.
Despite her efforts to resist the steel snake's coils, Fluttershy was unable to escape its grasp. However, her struggles and cries caught the attention of Rainbow Dash. Seeing her companion in distress, Rainbow Dash shook her mane, unleashing a wild and erratic array of solar flames that scatter like an aurora. One of the blazing rays struck Steelix's side, searing its metal plates and causing it to cry out in agony, releasing its grip on the serpent.
"S-Steel!"
With her freedom regained, Fluttershy's expression showed a devious smile. She moved swiftly, her powerful tail slammed onto Steelix's body, causing a devastating impact that shook the ground and sent a tremor throughout the area, throwing him back against the walls and causing him to collapse to the ground.
Rainbow Dash's jaws opened, and from the depths of her throat, a radiant beam of golden sunlight burst forth. This beam shot through the air and exploded on contact.
"Steelix!" Steelix roared out upon taking the beam. His metallic plating had numerous scratches and burns.
"Oh, no! Steelix!" Brock yelled, seeing Steelix in an unfavourable state. At this rate, Brock was about to opt for Mega Evolution to change the playing field. However, the alicorns had already accounted for this possibility and were prepared to thwart his plans. They had foreseen the potential power that Brock could unleash, and their countermeasures were designed to nullify his ability to use Mega Evolution.
"Oh, no you don't! I see you!" Mangestra uttered. "Let's make this far more interesting!" With a flash of her horn, right as Brock was about to unleash Mega Evolution, a spell of some sort had been cast, and the alicorn's face twisted into a sinister grin, knowing full well that their interference had succeeded. The transformation of Steelix was abruptly halted. Suddenly, an unseen force disrupted the connection between the human and the Pokemon.
"Gh!" Brock found his body frozen in place, his limbs refusing to obey his commands. The Key Stone on his hand pulsed feebly, its light dimming as though a veil had been drawn over it, the power of the bond that would have unleashed Lucario's full potential had vanished, and the world grew quiet, save for the cruel laughter of their captors echoing in the distance.
At that moment, Brock realized the full extent of the alicorns' malevolence. He had been rendered helpless, stripped of the power to protect his companions.
"Brock!" Ash looked back.
"New challenge! Do it on your own!" Magnestra exclaimed. "Your friend over there won't be of any help during the whole thing. That just makes it all the more fun, doesn't it?" She snickered.
"You've always been good at that, Ash." Fluttershy snickered.
"Yeah. It shouldn't be a problem, right?" Rainbow Dash would also taunt him. "I mean, when has it ever been? You've been in countless tight spots. What's one more going to hurt?"
"You guys...I know for a fact this isn't how you are..." Ash clenched his hands, his head lowered with sadness.
"It is now. You should've seen what happened in that room, Ash. It was so, so scary...so painful too." Fluttershy smirked, ready to go into detail about everything that happened in that room with her, Rainbow Dash and the others.
In that room, when the magic first entered them, the three alicorns had the ponies under a paralysis of sorts. The four were terrified, screaming out in absolute terror, begging the alicorns to spare them from this torture. Their bodies had become like rag dolls, their hooves and heads flopping from side to side. They could barely control their limbs. Their minds and senses were beginning to feel scrambled. Twilight Sparkle was the only one who remained completely still, and her eyes were wide in horror.
This was them becoming monsters instead of alicorns, the magic being unstable for them. Fluttershy recalled how her body was twisting and bending, and her screams were deafening. Parts of her were even being elongated and sharpened, like a weapon being fixed or made.
Every fiber of her body was stretching, distorting, and reforming itself into an abominable form. Her fur darkened and became rough, almost reptilian, as her body morphed and mutated. Her screams echoed off the walls, and her cries were drowned in the cacophony of their horrific transformations.
It felt like she was losing every part of herself to an agonizing void that was consuming her from within, transforming her into an aberration. And that was only the start of it. She felt an intense heat burning her insides. A searing pain ripped through her veins.
But above all else, her sense of being was being broken down, and that's where her fear lied. Even in her distorted state of being, she could think and remember the torture and torment that her mind went through.
All of her memories and thoughts were being rewritten and reshaped, her consciousness unravelled and reconstructed in the most nightmarish of ways. No matter what, she couldn't forget it, even if her mind had been wiped, altered and turned. That memory had stayed, burned deep in her brain and her mind forever.
And her fears were confirmed. The alicorn's magic had taken hold, the transformation was irreversible. There was no turning back. When the smoke cleared and the process was finished, a grotesque monstrosity emerged, resembling nothing of her original self. Her screams were now replaced with an eerie silence, and the once timid and gentle Pegasus was no more, replaced with an unrecognizable and terrifying creation, devoid of her former innocence and warmth.
The other girls had similar experiences. Their bodies had twisted, contorted and reformed into monstrous shapes, and the last moments of their previous lives had been consumed in a whirlwind of agony, confusion and despair, their screams and pleas had gone unanswered, their bodies and souls had twisted beyond recognition.
"It was the worst feeling without a doubt. But it made me feel so much better. I've become so much better. Ash listened to the details that Fluttershy would go on about. She was speaking as though she enjoyed every single bit of what was done to her. But the boy knew that was the furthest thing from the truth. He knew the alicorns were the cause of it. The idea that his friends would willingly put themselves through that was absurd, and yet here they were, standing before him.
"It's not so bad once you get used to it." said Rainbow Dash. "We were always unstoppable before, but now, we're even more powerful. Can't imagine what'd happen if our powers got amped up a few notches." She chuckled.
Despite her appearance and behavior, she still spoke with a certain casualness, suggesting that her transformation had not changed her personality entirely, merely corrupted it in a way. However, despite her nonchalance, it was clear that her current state had brought a darkness to her, and the glint in her eyes revealed a sinister intent behind her words.
"No way..." Ash would shake his head. "Even if you get turned into monsters or even if you ended up becoming alicorns...you're still my friends. All of you are. That's never gonna change. Ever."
Ash's declaration was firm, a reflection of his loyalty to his friends, regardless of their new forms. For a moment, his resolve faltered slightly as the thought of their transformations weighed on him, a brief flicker of concern in his otherwise determined expression. The weight of his own potential future hung heavily in the air, the knowledge that he too might be forced to endure the same fate looming ominously.
However, his doubts were short-lived. His unwavering dedication to his friends and his determination to protect and save them overrode any misgivings. He stood tall, his expression set in a resolute grimace. Despite the uncertainty of his own destiny, Ash Ketchum would not waver, no matter the cost, no matter the risk, and no matter the odds that were stacked against him. His mission was to bring his friends back, and that was exactly what he was going to do.
"I'm gonna find a way to stop you, no matter what. Then I'll figure out a way to turn you all back." He said, not letting his confidence break down at all. With a fierce glare, the two monstrous ponies looked at him.
"Is that right? How are you gonna stop us, then, huh?" Rainbow Dash questioned. She had her suspicions of what was to come.
"Pikachu! Use Thunderbolt!"
"Pikaaa...Chuuuu!" And sure enough, the Pikachu leaped forward and released a bolt of lightning that struck both her and the other monster, momentarily stunning them.
"Hold them down with Electroweb, Pikachu!"
"Pika-Pika!" Pikachu leapt into the air, electricity sparking from its red cheeks, and with a quick motion of its tail, it released a glowing, electrified spider web that surrounded the two alicorn's, pinning them to the ground and rendering them unable to move. The web was crackling and sparking with energy, holding its targets firmly in place and immobilizing them, buying Ash and his friends some precious time to make their escape and strategize a plan. However, it would take the heroes a while to figure out how to actually free the girls. Not that the girls were going to let that happen.
Fluttershy, her voice a venomous hiss, lashed out. "How dare you attack me, you little runt! I'll tear you apart!" She snarled and thrashed violently, struggling to break free from the web, but to no avail. Instead, the electricity that had trapped her and the others had only tightened their bindings, and their bodies were paralyzed, frozen in the very act of resistance.
Pikachu knew that Fluttershy would never speak to him that way. All the more reason to knock her out. "Thunderbolt!"
"Pika...!" Pikachu was ready to zap the Electroweb, ensuring that there would be a powerful electrical explosion that would incapacitate the monsters long enough for Ash and the others to escape and find a way to reverse their transformation. However, the blast of lightning from the Electric Mouse failed to have the intended effect, and instead, a shimmer of green enveloped their bodies. The magical shield that had appeared had absorbed the entirety of the electric blast. It had simply dissipated the instant the spell took effect, causing a faint ripple in the atmosphere.
"Hey!" Ash looked over at Magnestra, who was responsible for it. But not just her. Multiple other Alicorns who worked here were interfering with the battle, and not on behalf of the hero.
"Oopsie~" Magnestra would chuckle. At that moment, the alicorns would start raining down rays of magic to attack Pikachu directly. As a result, Pikachu would leap to safety and quickly scurry away. He landed safely in the arms of his trainer, who held him tightly. Together, the two watched as the alicorns' attacks continued to fall all around them, narrowly missing them each time. The alicorns' power was immense, and their relentless barrage of magic had created an intense aura of destruction, making their surroundings feel increasingly oppressive and dangerous.
The rays increased in numbers, making it harder for Pikachu to avoid them. "Pi! Pi!" Until, he was finally struck by one. And by being struck by one of the rays, it left him wide open to a follow-up attack from the alicorns, and the ensuing explosions caused the floor to shatter and the ceiling to crumble, leaving a cloud of dust and debris.
A small figure slowly emerged from the dust and smoke, covered in soot, his eyes closed and ears drooping. The young mouse Pokemon, whose body was now limp and staggering, had taken the most damage he's ever received in his life, his fur singed. He was struggling to remain conscious. The battle had taken a toll on the Mouse Pokemon.
"Pi...Pika...!"
"Pikachu!" The sight of the wounded Pokémon sent a chill of horror through the air. Ash and Brock were horrified, knowing that their friend had suffered greatly in the conflict, and the realization hit them like a punch to the gut. Their faces were twisted in a mixture of shock, disbelief, and fear, as they rushed to their comrade's aid.
"Bahahahaa!" Magnestra and the alicorns laughed, finding the situation humorous. They showed no sympathy towards their fallen opponent. Rather, their cruel amusement seemed to only intensify the dire circumstances that the injured Pokémon was in. Meanwhile, Rainbow and Fluttershy eventually broke free of the Electroweb.
And after breaking free, Fluttershy swung her tail in Ash's direction. Ash looked over, but it was too late to dodge. Her tail slammed him in the chest and threw him into the far wall, cracking it.
With nothing held back, the force of the impact reverberated through the area. The room shook with the impact of his collision, and the dust settled around him, creating a grimy cloud. He slid to the ground, his eyes half-open, and his body wracked with pain.
"Ngh...!" Ash tried to stand, his breath ragged and strained, his vision blurred from the jarring hit. But the effort was too great, and his legs buckled beneath him, sending him crashing to the floor. He groaned, the agony coursing through him like a wildfire, threatening to consume him completely. And the girls weren't done.
"Much better." Magnestra sighed with great relief. "This is how it was supposed to be in the beginning, but hey. Better late than never. Right?" Magnestra shrugged.
"That was amazing, Rainbow Dash!" Fluttershy's enthusiasm was contagious. The pair shared an excited hug, their bodies radiating warmth and affection. As they embraced, a brilliant pink glow illuminated the room. Their happiness was still present, even in this state. But it was clearly corrupted.
"Ha-ha! Of course! That was nothing. Besides, why would I go easy on that guy? He was lucky to have survived the first blow." Dash said, smiling, not at all worried about Ash and his condition.
"You know what to do." Magnestra looked at the alicorns and the two newly ascended alicorns, her face set in a stern, commanding gaze. Without hesitation, the alicorns immediately understood the orders that were given.
"Oh, Ash. Pretty pathetic that this is where it ends, eh?" Rainbow Dash spoke. "To think that you used to be stronger than me in every way. Well now, that's no longer the case. Now I'm better than you! How's that?! Haha!"
"I'm so glad to have met a human like you, Ash." Fluttershy chimed. "If we hadn't met, well, none of this would be happening. I can't express just how much this means to me, and it's all thanks to you. I met so many amazing Pokemon and I could never be more grateful...But now, it's time for you to join us. You might be lucky and get a chance to do more in the Dynasty."
"You heard them. Just give up and I'll be kinder. You can put on a show for all of us for years to come. If your species can even survive as long as ours~" Magnestra's words were dripping with sarcasm. "Your friends are already up for it. They'll live longer as monsters as well. And now, another one of them is about to go through it. Do you recognize this pony?"
Ash groaned, looking up at a magical screen that would be projected. On that screen, it showed the inside of the rooms and what was being done in there. And in one of them, Applejack had yet to be transformed, still going through the process. She was the most resilient, but alas, even she could only resist the Ascension for so long.
"Applejack...?" Ash suttered.
The transformation had started and the girl would soon lose the last semblance of her sanity. Once again, he was losing someone else. Lost a friend to these beasts, and it would continue to happen.
Magnestra was a proud alicorn. "She'll become a new sister of the Dynasty, just as strong as the other monsters we've made." Magnestra's gaze narrowed. "I wonder how she's gonna fare compared to her own friends." She smirked, a confident and smug look in her eye. Her words were spoken with a certain pride and absolute arrogance.
All the alicorns in the stadium laughed as loud as possible. The audience was enjoying the spectacle and were cheering and clapping, while chanting the names of their heroes.
"Look at him! That human creature looks like he's about to cry!" One of the alicorns exclaimed, laughing mockingly at Ash's expense. The other alicorns in the audience joined in, their laughter ringing throughout the room, their eyes gleaming maliciously at the sight of their prey's anguish.
"I bet the rest of his species is just as frail!" Another alicorn scoffed, his words cutting like knives, striking deep within Ash's soul, adding to his misery. So much mockery and so many insults. Some of them even came from two of his own friends.
"He's shaking like a leaf! Look at him!" A third alicorn laughed, pointing a clawed finger in Ash's direction. Brock could only watch as Ash underwent all of this.
Brock knew one thing for a fact. And so did Ash. It wasn't the insults and mockery that were getting to him. It was the state of his friends, and the things he's experienced in this world. This wasn't a world he was meant to stay in, but rather, one that he needed to get out of at all costs. But it also involved the fact that first Kimia was taken, then the residents of the Nebel Plateau including Volcanion. Even some Canterlot and Crystal Empire Guards were taken, plus Flash Sentry, which upset Flurry Heart the most.
All of these events piled up within Ash. From the actions of the Arcane Institute to now the Ultaylsium Dynasty. It all came together as one, merging and merging within Ash's mind. But above all else. It was also merging within his soul.
"SILENCE!" Instantly, he spoke at a level unheard before, causing the entire stadium to go absolutely silent. The voice of his alone had managed to do something like that. Something that not even a single person was prepared for, and the alicorns were definitely caught by surprise at that sudden change of tone and personality.
He stood back up, as if his injuries just vanished out of thin air. All that silence was now filled with the sound of an unlikely and uncomfortable Aura. Ash reopened his eyes, that same crimson glow reappearing. It wasn't just him but the rage of Hilbert was also helping boost this. This meant only one thing.

Prisma had awoken yet again.
"You speak of me as if I am beneath you...but you lowlifes are the ones who are inferior." Ash and Hilbert spoke with the elevated voice of Prisma. "You dare try and act all high and mighty in my presence...How foolish. Especially when I can easily wipe away your pitiful existences."
"Kh...!" Magnestra flinched, a strong surge of fear suddenly rippling within her and the others. They were all intimidated by this Aura and the voice alone. "What is this...? What's up with this voice and Aura...?"
"Something's up with Ash...What's going on?" Rainbow Dash grimaced
"...Ash Ketchum isn't here." Indeed. This wasn't Ash speaking. Not even Hilbert. Right now, the one in control of their shared body was the spirit of their original, the reincarnation of Prisma.
"Pika-Pi..." Pikachu weakly said, looking back at his Trainer. Prisma would then walk forward, kneeling down to help Pikachu up.
"It's okay. Stand, little one. For now, I shall lend you my power." He placed his hands on Pikachu and a white and black energy would flow into him, giving the mouse Pokemon the ability to stand.
"Pika...Pikachu?"
"You're back to full strength. But take a backseat for now." He smiled at his best friend and pet him. Then he would glare at the three alicorns, his enemies, the very foes that were responsible for his pain. Prisma wasn't about to let this slide, and the other souls were backing him.
He stepped in front of his Pokemon and friends. "For the sake of everyone, I'll dispose of all of you right here. Right now. Appear to my side! Dragon of Truth! Reshiram!"
Prisma would raise his arm, suddenly calling upon Reshiram. Specifically, Hilbert's Reshiram. He manifested the Poke Ball in his hands, and sent it to the skies, where the Legendary would emerge, ready to fight. Its mere presence was enough to cause the alicorns to flinch. Even a powerful beast of the highest order was able to feel fear and intimidation, especially in the presence of such an overwhelmingly dominant foe, a true master of the battlefield.
"A-A RESHIRAM?!" Magnestra shrieked.
Reshiram still had the spell that the Arcane Institute placed around him to ensure that it would not fight back. But that was nothing for Prisma to solve. With a snap of his fingers, he shattered the spell and set Reshiram free, allowing him to use the true depths of its power. The chains of the Institute had been broken and Reshiram was no longer restrained, no longer confined by their influence.
It roared, its power resonating in the arena and echoing through the minds of those present. The intensity of the roar caused the ground to shake and the alicorns in attendance to tremble in fear.
"Ngh...!" Fluttershy shuddered but she and Rainbow Dash were still prepared to retaliate. However, they had trouble with Pikachu alone. Reshiram was a different story. And Magnestra knew this. All the other alicorns workers in the stadium would have to fly into the area to get involved, just in case it gets too out of control.
"R-Reshiram or not! You're still outnumbered here! And we still have plenty of Pokemon and Monsters left to bring here and-"
"You think that will save you?" He replied, stunning Magnestra. "On and on, you keep rambling. I'm sick of your voice, alicorn. All of you. I won't even bother to restrain or limit anything from any of you. I'll crush you the way you are. Come, little ponies. I will end you."
"Y-You don't scar me!" Rainbow Dash charged in without a care, flying towards the enemy at great speed. Her confidence was on full display, and it seemed like she had every intention of ending this battle in one fell swoop.
"Reshiram. Dragon Claw!"
Reshiram's eyes flared as he would approach Rainbow Dash, using Dragon Claw. His talons glowed bright and were coated in an intense, glowing purple aura that crackled with raw energy. Rainbow was the first to strike, her attack connecting with Reshiram's chest. The impact of her blow shook the ground beneath her feet and sent shockwaves rippling outward.
Despite her best efforts, the force of her strike did not. Reshiram instantly responded by slashing at her, the sheer force of its counterattack sending Rainbow tumbling backwards, and slamming onto the floor of the arena. She grunted in pain, struggling to catch her breath. Her wings felt heavy, and her head spun, leaving her momentarily disoriented. Slowly, her eyes fluttered open and her vision cleared, revealing the imposing figure of Reshiram standing before her.
"You're not serious...Are you?" Her gaze was filled with a mix of awe and disbelief. It was hard to fathom that Reshiram had emerged unscathed, seemingly unaffected by the brutal onslaught she had unleashed.
"Restrain that Reshiram! Now!" Magnestra ordered as all the alicorns obeyed. In unison, they each used their magic, unleashing an immense barrage of magical projectiles. Each projectile was imbued with the unique power of their user, and they collided with the dragon in an explosion of colors, lights and energy that shook the arena, and left the onlookers gasping in awe.
In the wake of the attack, there was a brief, eerie silence, as if time itself held its breath. Suddenly, the air was rent with a thunderous cry from the center of the storm, where the dragon had been struck.
To everyone's surprise and horror, the creature rose up from the smoke, unharmed and roaring with an unyielding fury. Despite their combined powers, the alicorns were no match for the sheer might and resilience of the Reshiram. No matter what attacks or spells the alicorns hurled at him, he remained impervious.
"What a joke." Prisma was now the one insulting them. "You're not going to be doing a single thing to Reshiram. Your fate has been decided the second you chose to make yourself an enemy. And not to mention that I'll do whatever it takes to obliterate you all." His expression darkened, his eyes gleaming with the promise of destruction.
"Wh-What?!" The alicorns could barely hide their terror, and some were even quaking. There were few in the Ultaysium Dynaasty that would not be affected by that threat. Some of them would either flee or not engage the opponent at that point.
"Y-You're bluffing!" Magnestra stuttered as many alicorns started running for their lives, fearful of such an outcome. However, to their shock, they could not leave the stadium.
A pulse of Aura would knock them back. It was a powerful barrier of Aura that would not let anyone in or out, unless Prisma himself wanted them to leave. And right now, no alicorn was being given the privilege to leave the vicinity, not until he was finished. The alicorns tried to break free, only to fail. Their fear continued to build. Those that stayed behind would try and use a barrage of elemental spells, but that was to no avail.
"We can't get out!"
"There's no feeling from a Trainer Battle." Prisma had sealed off the stadium the moment he arrived, ensuring that no one would leave. He wanted to make sure everyone in here receives his vengeance. Every single alicorn and a staff member. Even the monsters would not escape their demise.
"W-Waitt! Ash! It's still us!" Fluttershy tried that tactic again, attempting to use her true self as an excuse to stop him from attacking her, hoping that her pleas would touch the human boy's heart. However, the alicorns had failed to consider that it wasn't really Ash that they were facing right now, and Prisma would have no sympathy for their plea, seeing as he was far more ruthless and relentless than the young boy. "A-Ash...?"
"Reshiram! Wipe them all out! BLUE FLARE!"
Reshiram's eyes glowed and it unleashed its most devastating technique. With an earth-shattering roar, the Vast WhitPokemon summoned forth its incredible powers, and released its Blue Flare. An immense blast of pure blazing blue fire burst forth from its jaws, illuminating the sky in a dazzling display of blue flame that burned with an intensity never before seen.
It was so intense that it caused a surge of heat that swept throughout the stadium. Everyone was in the path of that beam and no matter where the alicorns flew to, it would always reach them. Its size was colossal, enough to engulf an entire nation if needed. It's power could destroy an entire planet in an instant if the need called. All the alicorns screamed in terror and agony, echoing far and beyond.
Fluttershy, Magnestra and Rainbow Dash could not withstand the overwhelming might of Reshiram's attack, their screams quickly silenced in a fiery inferno that consumed them completely.
The Blue Flare went beyond that. The entire Stadium would have a gigantic hole blown through as the flame travelled far at intense speeds. As the blast of energy surged across the land, the alicorns and their forces watched in horrified disbelief as their stadium and the very landscape that housed it were utterly decimated in the wake of the massive blast.
The clouds would part from the force of the ground, a hurricane forming due to all this power. Nearby oceans would form large tsunamis and earthquakes that could shake the continents. The mountains would erupt, volcanoes bursting, and forests were burning to ashes, reducing everything in their wake to nothingness.
The smoke lingered strongly, but from it, the aftermath was shown. All of the alicorns in this stadium were downed, completely unresponsive. Their bodies were burnt and covered in blisters, their wings scorched and broken, and their fur was matted in ash and debris. They lay in a pile, their once majestic and proud forms now reduced to mere shadows of their former glory.
Fluttershy and Rainbow were among the fallen, both having lost the strength to rise up after their confrontation with the mighty Reshiram. But above all else, the flames had burned away at all the magic injected within them, incinerating it. The magic was reduced to ash, slowly reverting the two of them, along with the other alicorns to normal. However, there were some alicorns that weren't changed at the start, and they didn't revert to a normal pony, remaining alicorns.
"Hah...Hah..." Prisma would breath in and out, gazing at the destruction he caused. "They're...all still alive. Don't tell me. He took control at the last second..."
To even his surprise, despite being the one in control, a small bit of Ash managed to push through, holding the Blue Flare's full power back, saving these alicorns from a certain doom.
His willpower and influence was able to help mitigate the damage. If that hadn't happened, everyone here would've surely perished, especially the ones who had their forms forcibly changed, as that would have been the least amount of Infinity Energy within them.
Either way, no matter how weak the attack was, the result would have still been the same, a devastating defeat of the alicorns that had stood against him. Even if it was just a portion of its strength, the impact of the Blue Flare would be sufficient to subdue the alicorns.
"You're too lenient...Ash..." Prisma said as his Aura would fade. His control was coming to an end once more as his soul was about to take a rest. With it, Ash returned to normal, groaning as his mind began to swirl.
He got on one knee, shaking his head, trying to process the situation. The memories of the fight, though hazy, came flooding in. His senses gradually returning, and the weight of his exhaustion finally catching up. Pikachu would run over, placing his paws on the trainer, worried and panicked.
"Pika-Pi! Pikachu!"
"W-What happened...?" But unlike the previous times where Prisma influenced him, Ash had no recollection of what he had just done, nor any memories of his alter-ego taking control.
He was in a state of complete confusion, bewildered and unaware of the devastation that had transpired in the arena, the result of his actions, which were guided by the hands of a mysterious entity. He did notice, however, that his body felt incredibly tired and his energy was sapped from him, like he'd been in a long battle or ran a marathon.
"Rainbow Dash! Fluttershy!" He spotted his two friends on the ground, running towards them. The magic spell on Brock and Steelix would also break as they witnessed everything that had happened. "You guys!" Ash kneeled down in front of them. He checked their pulses. Thankfully, both of the two were still breathing, but they were in the worst state they could be in right now.
Brock knew the truth. And to tell Ash the truth would be incredibly difficult for him to attempt. How would he tell him that he was the one who did this?
As the journey continues.
