Celestia vs Grogar

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

Galar. Near the Crown Tundra. Day.

As the dust began to settle and the winds died down, the remnants of the rainbow remained in the air, slowly dissipating, leaving behind a serene silence. It was clear that the impact had taken its toll on the landscape. Trees were uprooted and scattered, the ground was scorched and cratered. Everything was in disarray.

Once the smoke cleared and the dust settled, the group found themselves in a state of shock. The aftermath of the intense battle was devastating to witness. Silver Swirl opened her eyes, witnessing how all the Monstrified Pokemon had been downed, completely defeated. And by being defeated, their bodies would glow, reverting them to their original forms. No longer Monstrified and controlled by Professor Grogar. They were finally freed.

However, it came with a toll.

Rainbow Dash and Braviary put their all into that attack. And because of the bodies synergizing with every feeling, Rainbow Dash felt the effects of the aftermath, her body twitching as she fell to the side as she almost fainted. Her partner, the tired and worn-out Braviary, reverted to his regular self. Both were unconscious and were unable to help fight back. Even their fellow Wonderbolts were knocked out cold from the attack. Soarin' and the rest of the team had collapsed, their Pokemon too weakened to assist. The entirety of the Wonderbolts had fallen doing their best to stop the attack.

"Kh..." Even Nightmare Moon and Harmony were affected, the two alicorns having exerted a lot of energy in their attempt to aid in the effort to defeat the monstrous army. Their wings were droopy, their bodies weak, and their minds were exhausted.

The Arcane Institute had managed to stand their grounds against the attacks. They were wounded and had to take a moment to regain their composure. But they were still standing compared to their enemies.

"T-They're down..." Phantasia muttered, turning to her sisters. "N-Now's our chance..."

"Yeah...!" The Arcane Institute saw this as a chance to finish them off while they were down. They were ready to seize the advantage since One Light did all the work when it came to stopping the attack, while the Arcane Institute just sat back and watched. They would sluggishly make their way to their opponents.

Silver Swirl was the only one who didn't move, simply staring at her former allies, and then at the Wonderbolts and the rest of the Downed heroes. The words of what Harmony and Rainbow Dash said echoed in her mind. They were willing to do anything to prove her wrong, and in the end, they were able to show her the truth. The lengths they went to, putting their lives on the line just because they believe in their friend and believe in saving him. She could see that now. It was ludicrous, but she saw the vision.

She knew what had to be done.

"So long...!" Flawless grinned as her horn started sparking with magic, looking down at Rainbow Dash who would snarl at her. Right as Flawless and all the others were ready to try and deliver the final blow, Silver Swirl intervened.

One last time, she used her divine magic, unleashing a white and gold light from her horn. In a swift movement, the entire battlefield was engulfed in the shining radiance, causing the Arcane Institute to shield their eyes from the blinding brilliance.

The intention of the light was to drain the Arcane Institute of their stamina, weakening their magical capabilities. This temporary reduction in strength was intended to hinder their offensive and defensive spells, putting them out of commission. Their bodies were already bewildered from before, but now Silver Swirl made sure that they were completely immobile and incapable of continuing. The Arcane Institute had no choice but to collapse, their energy depleted and their willpower shattered, leaving them unable to carry on fighting the heroes of Equestria.

"Silver Swirl...You...!" Flawless looked back at the guardian angel with a scowl before fainting, the other members of the Institute collapsing on the spot as well, finally rendered useless. After that, Silver Swirl herself was about to pass out. But before she did, she looked at Rainbow Dash and the rest of the group. She gave them a nod of approval, a gesture that signalled her change in perspective. And with that, the pony would pass out, falling to the floor, drained of all her strength and energy. The battle was over, and the world around her faded into darkness, and she embraced the peaceful slumber that awaited her.

"Ough..." Rainbow Dash was barely able to get up along with Braviary, the two being the only conscious ones here. They would look around and see the destruction and the damage. The other Wonderbolts were down, and so were the leaders of the Arcane Institute. Everyone was laying on the ground, some worse off than others. But in the end, everyone had survived the encounter, and that was the most important thing.

Rainbow Dash went over to Castform, looking down at his tiny body. "Cast..." Castform groaned, slowly waking up from his slumber. His eyes were no longer red. Instead, his eyes were his normal black colour. He was no longer under anyone's control. Castform was free from the Monstrification curse. "Castform..."

"Hey, little buddy...Are you doing better now?" She said to her friend, picking the Weather Pokemon up.

"Cast! Castform!" Castform was elated to see Rainbow Dash again, flying up to her face and cuddling the pegasus. Rainbow smiled and hugged her old friend back. They were reunited once more.

All the other Pokemon of the Wonderbolts were now waking up as well, their consciousnesses returning and the red in their eyes vanishing. Rainbow Dash sighed with relief seeing them all back. And she knew for a fact once her fellow Wonderbolts wake up, they'll be over the moon too. But right now, she had to find a way to get her teammates away from the Arcane Institute while they were down for the count.

"I need speed to get them all away from here...and I know the gal who can do the trick." She took a Poke Ball out, referring to her Zeraora. She could easily use her immense speed to transport the unconscious Wonderbolts far away from here. Far enough to where the Arcane Institute couldn't reach them. She could trust the Mythical Electric-type to protect her friends.

And as that skirmish came to an end, another was currently ongoing. One between Celestia and the Original Grogar. Both of them were battling high above the sky, Celestia and Passion going up against the massive magic entity of Grogar. But Celestia also had to deal with the Monstrified Pokemon that were present here as they approached from the distance.

With a malicious laugh, Grogar would use his magic to turn his entire entity body into this mass of sharp thorns with dark lightning around it, topped off by a sharp point at the end. He launched himself at the duo, aiming to pierce them in a single strike. The attack would come at them fast, and if he didn't dodge, the attack was sure to hit him head-on. At the last second, however, the two dodged the attack, narrowly avoiding a fatal injury.

Celestia raised her head high, releasing a glorious blue light at Grogar, but as quick as he transformed into this sharp being, he could also change back swiftly. He would rise back and block the incoming beam of energy, creating a protective barrier of corrupted magic around him.

After defending himself, Grogar would cover both sides of the area with wave-shaped lines of darkness that provide a small, ever-shifting gap of safety between them. The wave would consume the land itself, breaking down the rocks and terrain. If Celestia was careless, the waves could swallow her whole and do untold damage. However, the Sun Princess managed to dodge, spreading her wings and flying away from the chaotic waves. She could feel the heat coming off of these destructive waves, and the thought of what would have happened if she hadn't been careful sent a chill of unease through her veins.

But even though she avoided the threat, the attack was a distraction. As soon as the princess of the sun was in the air, Grogar would create a huge ball of negative energy and throw it at her at full force. Passion intervened, using Mystical Fire to attack this ball of negative energy. Thanks to Passion, the attack was cancelled out.

Celestia then cast a spell to try and restrain Grogar's entity body, hoping to gain the upper hand. Masses of light would fly out of the skies, beginning to wrap around the evil monster that is Grogar. But by exerting corrupted magic within him, he would push back against the Masses of Light, piercing them and destroying the masses of light, forcing Celestia and Passion to evade the broken pieces of light.

Once he destroyed them, Grogar's mouth would shoot out a barrage of small magic bullets, which were aimed directly at the duo, intending to overwhelm and injure them. The bullets flew towards her at an incredible speed, making it difficult for the alicorn to defend herself from the incoming projectiles. Despite her agility, the sheer volume of the bullets made it challenging to avoid all of them. Although she tried to evade the barrage, some bullets found their marks, delivering stinging blows.

And each time the corrupted projectiles hit, Celestia would grimace in pain. It was a feeling like none other. This was a type of corruption that was meant to destroy her and everything around her. A power that was not of their world. Something that is from another universe entirely. Even her magic was having trouble healing from this. It was almost impossible to heal from the wounds inflicted on her, no matter how hard she tried.

"Unpleasant, is it not? You see the true potential of my magic. Not even your pathetic healing can undo the damage I have caused to you." Grogar smirked. With a simple gesture, the massive being summoned six small objects that explode in X-shaped beams of darkness, forming a large circle around the Sun Princess and her Pokemon.

The explosions were powerful and devastating, tearing through the surroundings and causing further chaos and destruction. Celestia and her partner would brace themselves, shielding their eyes and bodies from the debris and shockwaves. The impact of the explosions would knock them back, causing disorientation and pain. The environment would be left in ruins, with the ground scorched and the structures damaged.

However, during the fight, one of the Monstrified Pokemon would jump high into the air, attempting to tackle the pair. The beast was a monstrous dragon, a Salamence, whose red scales were now black, and its eyes were glowing an unnatural green. Its wings beat violently as it descended upon the Sun Princess and her Pokemon. Grogar would just watch on and cackle at the sight of the duo in danger.

"Garde?!" Passion turned around to see Salamence rapidly approaching, being larger than before. With a roar, the Dragon would let out a burst of fire, intending to incinerate the two. "Voir!" Passion would use Psychic to hold back the flames, manipulating them with her mind to make them bend and twist. She then threw it back at Salamence, keeping the Dragon Pokemon away.

The Salamence would crash into the ground, rolling on the rocky surface and kicking up dust. However, the Salamence wouldn't go down without a fight. It would get right back up, roaring in anger and rushing the Gardevoir and Alicorn once more. Celestia would look back and see the angry Salamence charging at her. But before the Pokemon could even get close, she fired a blast of pure sunlight, the beam of light striking the Salamence in the chest and knocking it to the ground. The force of the blast sent the dragon tumbling backward, slamming into the rocky terrain below and ending its relentless assault.

"I'll admit! You impress me with your newfound magic! All of this new magic is past my time but that doesn't make any less interesting to me!" Grogar boasted. "After this, I'll be kind enough to study your magic and by extension, Pokemon Magic, which is seemingly boundless. And I'll start with your Gardevoir! The potential she has is hard to ignore."

"You won't lay a hoof on Passion!" Celestia hated the sound of that. She refused to let Grogar touch Passion in any way, especially since he wanted to corrupted her.

Grogar loved the reaction that got out of Celestia as he brought upon a smog of withering capabilities. The smog spread rapidly and with such a large radius too. It started eating away at the light, especially at the sunrays that beam down from above.

Celestia would hold her breath, promptly breathing out golden flames to keep the smoke at bay. Her flames managed to burn the surrounding area and even melt some of the rocks, turning them to magma. However, the flames would also act to repel the darkening smog, preventing the corrupting effects from reaching the princess. The combination of her magical abilities and the fiery defense created a barrier that protected her and her surroundings from the sinister influence of the Grogar.

The scene would become intense as the flames and the smog collided, blowing up in front of each other promptly. And as a massive smoke cloud filled the area, Celestia took action right away while she had the chance. Flying through the smoke at great speeds was a glowing glyp of stellar and solar power, instantly imprinting itself onto Grogar's body, taking the entity off guard and wounding him in an instant.

The mark of a star burned into the body of the massive monster, causing him to scream as it burned with great intensity. And with Grogar screaming, it allowed Passion to attack right away. "Gardevoir!" Combining Mystical Fire and Thunderbolt as one, she used Plasma Bolt, bringing down a fierce blast of plasma. The attack would strike the creature, burning the energy that made up its large body while attacking Grogar from within. A perfect opportunity for the Sun Princess to capitalize on the opening her Pokemon made, as she soared high into the air, her aura of the sun radiating intensely. Celestia brought upon these golden chains made out of concentrated Sunlight to trap the evil goat, and it was successful, binding him in a tight grasp.

"You...!" Grogar growled as the chains were also incredibly hot, scorching his body and leaving painful burns on his skin. He struggled to break free, his muscles straining against the restraints, but the chains held firm. Despite his immense strength, the chains refused to give way.

"That's as far as you go." Celestia said to him sternly. "As if I'm letting you roam free. You'll be going back to where you originally were. But I'll make sure you're permanently sealed."

"I won't be sealed forever. I won't even be sealed at all! My counterpart and I are already able to work in tandem with each other, even when far apart."

"Where is he off to?" Celestia questioned. "I saw him fly off, separating from you."

"Where do you think? The boy has managed to outdo himself once more, defeating the one they call Galaxy Master. Naturally, my counterpart is upset by this. More and more, his resources are being dwindled by your annoying friends, so much so that he's on the verge of insanity. I can feel the frustration, the hatred and the desire to destroy. All of those emotions and feelings that are swirling around inside of him, and they're only growing stronger."

"He should give up while he's ahead. No matter what, we won't give up on Ash and we'll see this through. Prisma won't return and the universe will still be in one piece." Celestia declared.

"Hm-hm. If I wasn't in the picture, then yes. That would be the case. But alas, it is not..." Grogar let out a snicker. Suddenly, the glyph on his body along with the chains that restrained would start changing. Rapidly, they were being consumed by an other energy that would swiftly replace the solar glow of Celestia's magic.

"What?!" Celestia noticed this and as quickly as her magic was replaced, in the blink of an eye, her own chains were reversed on her and a reverse glyph was imprinted on her. She screamed in agony, unable to control her own body. "How are...?!"

"Garde?!" Passion would receive something far worse. The glyph multiplied, appearing around her in all directions, creating a circle of glyphs. Each glyph had a unique symbol as they eachwould unleash streams of energy that would converge and surround Passion, trapping her in a sphere of elemental energy. The sphere would pulsate and swirl, intensifying the effects on the Gardevoir.

"As you can see, I have nothing to worry about." Grogar said, taunting them. "Reversing them on you was rather easy. In fact, right now, a plethora of things are far too easy for me to do."

"Ngh...! Grr!" Celestia growled while trying to break free from the chains.

"You see, all the negative emotions happening across the world right now are beneficial to me. Centuries ago, before Gusty defeated me, as a contingency, I cast a small spell that would seep into the land itself. A spell that feeds on negativity. Every highly negative thing that has happened since has gone to strengthen me and in addition, I have been able to feed on the negative emotions of everyone. Their anger, their hate, their fear. Those were the key factors in allowing me to eventually revive. So no matter what, I have a resource that will allow me to continue on." Grogar explained to her.

"Are you serious?!"

"It went undetected due to how small it was. It had an incredibly slow growth rate but that was on purpose. That way, even someone like you would've never noticed it, no matter how grand your magic is. And right now, the situation with Prisma has been such a massive benefit. The rage that all the Unilight Residents feel against this one man, a single individual. Just because of him, the entire world is in danger. It's delicious. But even then, Prisma on his own holds tremendous rage equal to theirs. It's just a never ending cycle of hatred and fury." He told her. "And it just keeps getting better. Twilight Luminaria plays a part in this. Her disdain towards Prisma, the one she once considered a friend."

"You'd use all of that to your advantage?! Grogar you...!"

"It doesn't stop there, Celestia. Even you have given me this advantage." He replied, causing her to gasp. "I know you have. The inner Daybreaker within you, even though you've overcome that, for the time it existed, the amount of pent-up rage that you felt was enough to fuel a million wars. And that is simply amazing. Luna and Nightmare Moon are self-explanatory and even those who haven't awakened are adding to this. The fear they feel right now is marvelous. And I do have all of your past enemies to thank as well."

"A-All of them?!"

"Discord, Malamar, Queen Chrysalis, Starlight Glimmer, Tirek, the Pony of Shadows, The Dread League, Nightmare Rarity, King Sombra, Cozy Glow, the Dazzlings, the Storm King, Empress Twilight and so on and so forth. They've all played a part in making me strong. All the chaos and destruction that's taken place ever since the beginning of time have had an impact. From the smallest quarrels to the most dangerous conflicts."

"You've benefitted off of all of them..." Celestia was in disbelief. And since there was a large conflict happening now, Grogar was actually still growing in strength. "But the one I have to thank for this the most...is Ghetsis."

"Ghetsis?! Celestia yelled.

"Yes. Despite the Prisma situation...Ghetsis fueled me the most. The evil in his heart...it's unheard of. His ambitions and his desires. What he's done and what he's capable of, he's a goldmine. I've never felt someone this sinister at all. To be honest, I'm actually somewhat jealous of him." Grogar said, chuckling a little. He was indeed a bit envious of the man's capabilities. "But you get the point. As it stands, you cannot hope to stop me in the next...hmm...I'll say 10 minutes at best. You will fail, and my counterpart and I will win. Not even your friends can stop him, especially when his mind is focused on destroying them all."

"..." Celestia stayed silent, lowering her head in shame.

"And after I stop here, I'll take a crack at those other universes out there. Perhaps, I'll take control of your Universal Alliance. That will be rather useful to me." Grogar continued.

"You won't get the chance..." Celestia replied with a low voice, making Grogar raise an eyebrow. She slowly raised her head and glared at him, the fire in her eyes burning brighter.

"I won't you say? Will you be saying that...when your Pokemon is one of mine!" Grogar shot at Passion, intending on turning the Embrace Pokemo into a Monstrified Pokemon.

"G-GARDE!"" Passion was shot right in the chest with the beam, her whole body enveloped in its power. Her screams filled the area.

"PASSION!"

"V-Voir! GARDE!" The magic within was starting to pulsate out of her, rippling and crackling in every direction. Celestia could feel the intense, overwhelming power that was being forced into her, as if her body was being stretched from the inside, ready to burst.

"I wonder what will come of this!" Grogar laughed. "This whole time, I've only been transforming Wild Pokemon and Pokemon that belong to a selection of Trainers! But a Pokemon with this much potential, especially one linked to you?! What an amazing thought! Show me something wonderful, Gardevoir!"

Gardevoir was fighting for her life to not transform. The inner workings of her were being torn apart and rearranged. She didn't want to hurt anyone or be a threat to her loved ones. And as Grogar continued to cackle, Celestia closed her eyes, attempting to link up with Passion.

Passion did the same. She could sense her. With both of them connected, they each felt the pain. Celestia soon felt the overwhelming pain Passion felt within as the corrupted magic was tearing her apart as well. Celestia could see through her eyes, the darkened sky and Grogar laughing.

"Now, bare witness to how I make this world mine!" Grogar turned his head, using his magic to spread his Corrupted Energy far. It would spread via a massive orb that was launched high into the air, and once it was high enough, tendrils would shoot out and descend onto the ground below, spreading his energy and his will.

The tendrils stabbed the ground, digging deep. And once inside, they started moving rapidly in any and every direction, the range of the attack going further than the eye could see. This was his goal, to corrupt everything. Once the land and the wild Pokemon were under his influence, the next targets were the cities.

"As the negative energy continues to grow, so will the rate at which my magic will spread across the world. In the end, no one will be safe and the world will be mine." He said, confidently.

"No...it won't...!" Celestia groaned while feeling the pain within. "I've come too far to let that happen...and there's still so much I need to do!"

"Hoh? Like what?" Grogar scoffed.

"So much...More than you'd ever even try in your life...and one of them is marrying Cobalion...!" She cried out. "And once we're together, I won't mind becoming a mother! And that starts by beating you!"

"Hah? Do you think you can achieve that all? At the rate I'm improving at?"

"You're only thinking about how fast you're improving...but what you don't know...is that Passion can improve as well!" Celestia's eyes would glow and so would Passion's. Indeed, the thing that made Passion so unique. The fact that she was one of a kind was due to the fact that she was outrageous potential. And that potential involved how fast she is able to improve in strength and skill.

And during this moment, the two were pushing their limits, increasing their power to its maximum. They would not fall to the likes of him. Not when the world needed them. The magic in Passion was starting to burn up as a heat as powerful as the Sun began to rise from within her. The red, orange and yellow aura was covering her entire body, making her look like a star in the night sky. Celestia was in sync with her and was feeling her power increase.

Grogar was taken aback at the sight, raising an eyebrow in curiosity. "What is this...?!" He could not ignore such a tremendous force. Was the two of their powers merging and combining to reach new heights? "Such a rapid growth in magic! No, wait...they're doing more than that!"

Both Celestia and Gardevoir shouted, the heat from their bodies rising and rising, creating a barrier of light around the two. Their combined power would result in something very familiar. Without even needing the power of the Mega Stone to pull it off, the two of them would fuse.

Their bodies, hearts, minds and souls would unify, bringing out the fused being commonly known as Celestial-Gardevoir. As Grogar was launched back by the glorious light that would consume the surrounding area, Celestial-Gardevoir had emerged. And due to the immense magic she had, the corrupted magic within would be burned away in seconds, leaving her pure.

"You actually managed to catch up to that?!"

"It was painful, but nothing we haven't dealt with before." Celestial-Gardevoir said to him with the voices of Celestia and Passion coming through. As the smoke cleared, she wasn't her regular height. To match Grogar's massive entity form, Celestial Gardevoir would appear as a giant as well, constantly radiating Magic and Infinity Energy.

Now, they were Grogar's height.

"Who cares about how fast you're growing because of all that negativity? We can easily do the same, but on our own terms." Celestial-Gardevoir declared.

"But you're far too late! My magic has already spread far in seconds! There will be no way to stop the spread of my will and power! Even the strongest of minds won't be able to withstand my influence!" Grogar smirked, knowing that his victory was near.

Celestial-Gardevoir looked down at him, and then at the tendrils that were spreading the corruption. "You think you're the only one who can change the world in a few seconds? Watch and learn." She told him, holding her hand to the sky.

A small, glowing ball of white appeared in her palm, and once the size was just right, she would toss it into the air. It floated gently above, shining brightly in the clouds. Suddenly, it expanded and exploded in a massive, blinding blast of holy light that engulfed the heavens in its wake. Soon, the entire planet was covered in the brilliant light, the warmth of her love and care filling everyone's hearts and the purity of her soul cleansed the land of his corruption.

"S-So easily?!" Grogar was in disbelief as his magic did not get as far as he hoped it would. Not with Celestial-Gardevoir stopping it before it could get any worse.

"I'm counting on everyone else to stop Prisma. I know they can do it. But right now...I need to get rid of you. Sealing you won't do the trick. Grogar." Celestial-Gardevoir pointed at the ram. "I'll have to destroy you."

"Destroy me?! Pah!" Grogar laughed. "I'd like to see you try, Princess."

"Hm." And she would, By combining Celestia's many spells and Gardevoir's Thunderbolt, her hand would glow and an enormous, electric sphere would appear. It had a multitude of colours that could be seen. And after focusing on it for a few seconds, the orb would disappear and the sky would darken, the stars would vanish and the moon would no longer be in sight. Celestial-Gardevoir would point at the sky.

Suddenly, there would be a flash and an incredibly massive orb would crash down from the sky, attempting to crash into him. Grogar responded to this by firing his own beam at the attack, hoping to push it back or at least break the spell. He managed to pierce through it with all that corrupted magic, destroying the orb. After piercing through it, that same beam would move like a snake, approaching the Pony-Pokemon Fusion at a rapid pace.

Celestial-Gardevoir ascended in the air, dodging the attack and flying towards him. As she avoided the snake-like beam, she flew high into the sky, raising her arms high. Using Dazzling Gleam and Celestia's magic, Celestial-Gardevoir brought down a barrage of golden rays at him, each one of them moving faster than the last, and the damage output was immense.

Grogar laughed, using his body to become a mobile spiral. This spiral of corrupted energy would ascend, breaking apart the golden rays that descended upon him as he approached. He was getting closer and closer, his laughter growing louder and louder and his speed increased in response to his desire to crush his opponent.

Celestial-Gardevoir shut him up by clapping her hands together, generating a light wave that messed with the sound barrier itself, creating a deafening sound that could be heard from across the land The noise was enough to make Grogar stop in his tracks and the shockwave from the explosion caused his body to crack and his physical form to fall apart.

He managed to recover it, quickly slithering away to return to his ram shape. Afterwards, he howled at Celestial-Gardevoir, breaking the sound barrier as well. The ground split apart as a massive chasm would across the area as hurricane started forming in response to this clash. The clouds spiraled and the thunder was at its highest, striking the surface of the Earth, threatening to destroy what was left of the region's nature. The trees were ripped from their roots and the dirt was blasted away.

A mountain in the distance would come apart, tipping over as it were a tree that was cut. Boulders and stones would float and rise, scrambling everywhere. The Monstrified Pokemon were actually running for their lives, no longer approaching Celestial-Gardevoir. They were not going to interfere with these two powerful beings, especially since they were not able to keep up. With their corrupted minds, they could understand the level of power that was being used.

Lightning struck from the skies, moving across the lands of Galar due to how the intense the clash as it would reach the Crown Tundra. Those at Freezington cowered in fear of the storm that was brewing. The ice would shatter, and the sea would begin to churn. The Pokemon that were living in the ocean would swim and run in a frenzy, while the people of the village would take cover in their homes.

"Audino!" Audino would use Protect, forming a large barrier around Freezington, protecting the villagers. Fluttershy and everyone screamed as the lightning beat down on the area aggressively.

And poor Rainbow Dash. Since her body was still weak, she couldn't fly away fast enough to avoid the incoming lightning in the sky. Zeraora would hold Rainbow Dash, attempting to protect her. Thankfully, her ability Volt Absorb allowed her to easily absorb the incoming lightning that would come her way, preventing the both of them from getting hurt. However, the tsunamis and hurricanes were a different story.

She could hear her friends crying from the chaos that was happening. Everyone else that was unconscious were in danger of being hit by either one of these disasters and poor Zeraora just couldn't help them all. Her speed would be held back by the force of the hurricanes. Not to mention, her eyes widened in horror as a tornado formed and was making its way to Freezington. She could hear the cries of the children in the village and the destruction that would happen in the near future. If that thing hit the place, everyone would die. And that includes the rest of the Mane Six.

"Ze...Ze...!" Zeraora tried thinking of something as hard as she could.

However, before she could come up with something, from the snow, something would rise unexpectedly. Specifically from the remains of the Arcane Institute's ship, which was a pile of snow, ice, metal and fire. An item emerged from the wreckage, slowly arising with a glorious glow. Zeraora and Rainbow Dash's eyes widened in shock and horror when they saw what arose.

It was the Soul Crystal.

The Arcane Institute's Ultimate Weapon had survived the battle, still being in one piece and this entire time, building up a ton of power. All the souls that were once trapped inside of it, were screaming to get out. The pressure was building immensely and the amount of energy that was contained within was ready to explode. Its omnious glow was brightening the entire area, and the darkness that emanated from the crystal was overwhelming the land in a thick, black mist.

"Not like this...!" Rainbow Dash hated this. The situation was bad enough, but now that this thing was active, ready to snatch the souls of anyone near and far was the absolute worst case scenario.

However, that was not the case.

Suddenly, the eerie glow of the crystal would change right before their very eyes. Its colours would shift from a menacing blue to a soothing and dream-like dark blue, specifically one with stars. The duo looked on in confusion, wondering what was happening. The screams of the trapped souls were replaced with peaceful and calming sounds that could put anyone to sleep. The crystal's aura was no longer malevolent, nor did it feel the need to devour the souls of anything alive anymore.

"Zera?" Zeraora was confused.

"Uh, that's a good thing, right? What happened to that creepy thing?" Rainbow Dash asked. And right as she asked that, the light of the Soul Crystal would expand out as its power was released. And from that power, all the remaining souls within would fly out, the force of the souls and the light pushing back against the lightning and wind, keeping the storms at bay and preventing the waters from reaching the shore.

And from one of these souls, a figure would form, bringing a certain someone back at last. Landing on the snow as the dust cleared was none other than Volcanion.

"Heh! Finally!" Volcanion cheered. "No more of that stupid gem!"

"Vol...Volcanion?" Rainbow Dash gasped in surprise.

"Hey kid. You look like you've been through a lot!" He smirked.

"You broke free?! How?!"

"We all have her to thank." Volcanion referred to a certain individual who would fly into the air, being the one to free all the souls in the Soul Crystal.

Princess Luna.

"Princess Luna!" The happiest smile appeared on Rainbow Dash's face. She was so glad to see her again. And as she appeared, all the souls would glow, bringing the original bodies of everyone back as they all descended upon the snow.

"Hm." Luna smiled before looking up at the chaotic skies. "My what a mess this is...Darkrai! Cresselia! Zekrom!" She cried out for three of her Pokemon. And out of the crystal, shattering it into a million pieces were each of the named Pokemon.

The trio flew into the air and joined Princess Luna. Darkrai would unleash a powerful gust of dark energy to dispel the thunderclouds in the area. Afterwards, he'd use a large Dark Pulse to destroy the hurricanes that were forming, leaving only the tsunamis that were coming their way.

As that happened, Zekrom would dive down, shooting a powerful bolt of Fusion Bolt, striking the water and generating an incredible amount of steam that blocked the view of anyone in the area.

But afterwards, a cold snap would occur as the tsunami would freeze over. The reason was because of Cresselia's Ice Beam. With that, the waves would collapse, breaking into millions of ice shards that shattered onto the ground, no longer a threat to the people of Freezington. However, that didn't solve the problem of the tornado that was heading towards the town.

Luna knew the solution. She would fly above the tornado, using a special spell on the twister to calm the storm. From the tips of her horn, a beam of rainbow light would shoot from the sky, enveloping the tornado in a multi-colored vortex. After a few seconds, the tornado would vanish completely.

But that was only half of the problems that needed to be solved. Next, Luna had to deal with the hurricane and thunderstorms that were happening in the Crown Tundra and the main Galar Region. Using her connection to the moon, she would cast a massive spell to clear the weather, and also bring the moon and the stars out.

The clouds would dissipate, and the winds would die down. Now the sky was littered with the beautiful sky and the Sun that shone down, which brought an atmosphere of peace and serenity to the land. At least it did for a second. There was still a huge clash between Grogar and Celestial-Gardevoir that was shaking the planet itself.

"Is everyone feeling better now?" Luna said, descending and looking at all the freed souls that were on the ground. Of course, some of them were unconscious, others were barely waking up. It was a sight that made her smile in relief. No more pain or suffering. Just happiness and freedom. "I'm sorry that I took so long to come here. I was trapped in that crystal longer than I thought I would've been. But, nothing a good amount of brute force couldn't solve!"

"Hah..." Rainbow Dash sighed with relief.

"You can tell me everything along the way. Right now, there is still much that has to be done." Luna was about to play catch-up, looking up at the sunny skies. And when looking at them, she already knew that her sister was fighting hard.

And fighting hard she was. Celestial-Gardevoir's body was bashing up against Grogar's. Their combined auras were giving off an intense amount of magical power, ripping apart the sea and the land that was around the area. Every attack that was launched felt like the end of the world was coming, the sound of their attacks and the damage to the landscape being loud and devastating.

"!" And Celestial-Gardevoir saw the damage being done due to this. At this rate, she would be responsible for the destruction of Galar and beyond.

"This is as far as you!" Grogar yelled as he gained sharp fangs, suddenly biting down into Celestial-Gardevoir's shoulder and neck, making her scream and cry in agonizing pain. Afterwards, Grogar would toss her away, causing her body to crash through many mountains.

Entire mountains crumbled to pieces and the landscape was reshaped by the two. The earth trembled and quaked with every move. All of it was the result of the immense power that was wielded by the two of these beings. An avalanche of rocks would occur, the massive rocks falling onto Celestial-Gardevoir and trapping her underneath. But it would only last for a few seconds before the debris was blown away.

"Now watch as I bring an end to you...And by doing so, centuries of all your hard work will be mine to erase and use to my own liking!" Grogar taunted, intending on ending this at once. His horns vibrated aggressively as he gathered all the negative energy that he could. And that meant every bit of it. From the seas below, to the very core of the planet, to the hearts of those in despair and sadness, and even the spirits of the dead. He was absorbing the entirety of all the negative energies that existed in the universe, and condensing it into a single point at the tip of his horn.

Celestial-Gardevoir could feel the sheer weight of the energy that Grogar was gathering. It all formed into that single point, taking the form of a crackling orb of dark violet and green energy. The ground beneath cracked, the ocean's tides were pulled inwards towards the sphere of negativity, and the planet's orbit shifted. Even the sun was being affected, its rays of warmth and light dimmed in the wake of the overwhelming darkness that was accumulating. She had to find a way to stop this, or else the whole universe would be erased and lost forever.

"I won't let you..." But Celestial-Gardevoir refused to let that become a reality. She would have to end this as well. She would use Plasma Bolt, generating Thunderbolt in one hand and a blazing golden fire in the other via one of Celestia's spells. Both the flames and the lightning would swirl in her hands. Then, at the same time, the two would combine, transforming the flames and electricity into a ball of plasma. But it wouldn't just remain a ball. Instead, the orb of plasma would expand to an incredible size. Soon, it was a glowing, blinding yellow orb of pure and destructive power, ready to be unleashed at any time. The power was enough to shake the earth below, and the ocean was reacting to it. Waves of water would begin to rise and fall violently, the tides becoming unstable and unpredictable. The heat and energy from the orb were causing the air to ripple, distorting the view of anything nearby. The sky was filled with bright white and yellow hues, like a miniature star was born from the clutches of her hands. And that is where the battle would truly commence.

"This is where I pick up where I left of all those years ago!" Grogar shouted. And at that moment, he would blast his beam of ultimate negativity at her. And at the same time, Celestial-Gardevoir unleashed her radiant beam at him.

When the two collided, it was like a cataclysmic paroxysm. The resulting shockwave was a tsunami of force that tore through the landscape, ripping trees from the ground and tearing rocks from the earth. The beams clashed against each other, each trying to come out on top, and the resulting struggle was a dazzling display of colors and lights.

The sky lit up, a kaleidoscope of hues and shades, as if a fireworks show was going on. But it wasn't a show. This was a battle of colossal proportions, a battle that could decide the fate of the entire world. And in the center of it, Celestial-Gardevoir and Grogar were locked in an epic showdown, their beams of energy colliding and struggling for dominance.

As their beams continued to clash, the surrounding environment began to change. Mountains were flattened, rivers evaporated, and forests were turned to ash. The ground trembled and shook, and cracks started to spread across the surface.

"NGH!" Celestial-Gardevoir's feet would slide back against the ground. Her face was straining, showing the signs of her struggling. The ground behind her would continue to shatter and break, and her feet would dig deep into the dirt. She had to keep pushing, and she did, gritting her teeth as her cosmic hair and body were pushed backwards by the sheer pressure of the impact. "GROOOAAAAR!"

The beam was getting closer to her, and soon, her aura was fading, the cracks on her skin were spreading faster. She was on the verge of defeat, and the world was on the brink of destruction.

"I can't lose! Not yet!" She screamed in agony. She had to push harder, she had to give it everything she had, and then some. She closed her eyes, focusing on every ounce of her power, and then, with another burst of effort, she let loose a surge of energy that was beyond anything she had ever done before.

"!!" Grogar grimaced, seeing her beam move closer, prompting him to do the same. And due to all the negativity, he was still growing stronger. His muscles bulged, and his veins popped as his physical strength increased, even though Celestial-Gardevoir was managing to keep up. It looked to be rather even at the moment, but the key to all of this was who would run out of magic first? Who's will and desire to win was stronger?

Just then, Grogar felt a dip. A sudden dip of negative power would arise, making him confused. "W-What is happening!?"

It was all thanks to Luna. Since she managed to bring back the freed souls, she brought hope and happiness to them. And that was topped off by how she stopped the Crown Tundra from being destroyed, bringing relief to everyone there.

"Heh." Celestial-Gardevoir could feel it too. She could feel the powers of positivity rising, and the balance shifting. And she knew exactly who was responsible due to the sound of thunder in the far distance. The sound of Zekrom's thunder to be exact.

"Thank you, Luna!!"

She would unleash the full power of her Plasma Bolt, her attack overpowering his. In an instant, the beam of light and plasma swallowed Grogar's dark and shadowy one, engulfing it and destroying it entirely.

"No...NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" It was a blast of energy so powerful that it shattered the sky, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. The clouds were scattered, and the heavens themselves seemed to tremble.

The ground was scorched, and the trees were reduced to ashes. All that remained was the echo of the explosion that had rocked the world to its core. As the dust settled, the aftermath of the battle became clear. There was nothing left of Grogar, not a trace of him. Only the remnants of the catastrophic event that had unfolded.

The clouds were split, the sight of it all being visible from outer space due to how powerful and far the final attack was.

"Urk!" Without warning, the fusion was undone, with the bodies of Celestia and Gardevoir splitting in half. They both landed on their knees, panting heavily as their minds and souls returned to their respective owners. Their forms were exhausted, and they could barely stand.

"Hah...Hah...Hahaha!" Celestia started panting before laughing, feeling a massive weight lifted from her shoulders. "We did it! We won!" They had won.

"Garde...Gardevoir!" Passion started laughing as well. The victory was theirs, and Grogar was no more. But she was feeling the effects of using her powers to the fullest. Her body ached, and her mind was in a haze. Both of them were out of it for expending so much power.

But it was worth it.

As the journey continues.
