My Little Pokémon: Grander World
The Coming End of Galar
Previous ChapterNext ChapterGalar. Motostoke City. Afternoon.
After an intense moment where Bayleef's ability went off, fate itself had changed, enveloping everything in a glorious yet terrifying light. Eventually, the light would fade and everyone would be able to open their eyes.
Once their vision cleared, all of Motostoke had been cut in half. Every last building was sliced in two, and the side that was sliced was obliterated. What remained of the town was in shambles, a barren wasteland of dust, rock and the remnants of civilization. Most of the buildings and houses had been reduced to rubble and ash. The streets were littered with debris, broken glass, and fallen power lines.
The ground itself was in half, going deep and bringing forth a huge chasm that was wide and now flowing with Dragon Matter that seeped into it. And the result was revealed.
Bayleef managed to save everyone, using every single one of her leaves to change fate and protect everyone from the cataclysmic impact of Rayquaza's crash and Aegislash's Sacred Sword. But it came at a cost. Bayleef's eyes whited out, showing that she used absolutely everything to protect them. But even though she saved their lives, the damage still went through as she and others were stunned, having their pupils dilated.
"He...cut my magic in half...?" Celestia was taken aback. Aegislash's Sacred Sword had cut her magic in half. But it also ended up cutting half of Bayleef's power, ensuring that even through she saved their lives, she couldn't prevent the damage everyone received. Her body started to fall to the ground, her eye color gone. She had no more energy left to use, and was on her way to collapsing to the ground.
Fluttershy and everyone else started collapsing and fainting, their bodies too exhausted and battered to continue on any further. Their consciousness was fading fast, and their minds were overwhelmed by exhaustion and pain. They collapsed to the ground, their bodies limp and motionless, leaving behind a scene of destruction and chaos. The area around them was completely devastated, with the effects of a great battle.
Prisma looked down on all of them, being absolutely victorious. Reshiram and Zekrom, looked onwards to see their downed friends. They were defeated, and the rest of the world was next. No matter how hard his friends tried, no matter how much effort and power was put in, the outcome was inevitable. They would never be able to best him.
"You fought well. But not to your fullest. Time to wipe the everything clean." Prisma would speak as Rayquaza took flight once more. He returned Aegislash to his Poke Ball as Rayquaza went flying off in the distance.
Reshiram and Zekrom flew over to their friends to check up on them. The two Pokemon were worried for their friends. Celestia tried staying awake with all of her might, having half of magic cut in half. She never did get to fully recover it now that half of it was sliced away. Thus, fell to the ground, laying on her stomach and unconscious. They had lost, and the rest of the world was doomed to a reality of his choosing.
Prisma promptly continued his path of destruction. Having just decimated a small part of the Galar region, he would soon increase the level of destruction. Rayquaza started raining down Hyper Beams from above, destroying the landscape. The dragon beams rained down upon the land and the cities, creating a massive swath of devastation in their wake. The Hyper Beams would explode in flashes of bright light and a torrent of fire, the shock waves rippling across the countryside, tearing up the earth and causing widespread panic and chaos.
"Come on! Battle me!" Prisma shouted while on top of Rayquaza, challenging anyone who would dare to oppose him. He was determined to show his absolute strength, to prove that he was truly unstoppable. However, no one dared to rise to his challenge. People and Pokemon of all types and ages were fleeing in terror, running in fear, trying to escape the onslaught of his attacks.
No one in the surrounding areas would dare come close to him. "Don't you want to save your world?! If so, then fight for it!" Prisma taunted, his voice booming across the land. But no one responded to his call. Instead, they kept running, desperate to escape the destruction that was unfolding around them.
The Wild Area was being ripped apart by both Rayquaza and the Dragon Matter, which was slowly spreading throughout the region. Trees were being uprooted and thrown into the air, and the terrain was being reshaped by the powerful force of the destructive rampage. The ground was shaking violently, and the sky was filled with plumes of smoke and debris.
The Dragon Matter would also start transforming whatever was in its way. It was a sea of purple goo that would spread all over the land and the Pokemon in the area. Everything that touched the ooze was transformed into a grotesque, monstrous form. The wild pokemon were screaming in agony as their bodies morphed and twisted into nightmarish draconic shapes. Those who were unfortunate enough to come in contact with the ooze would be consumed and become part of the ever-growing mass, their forms contorting and twisting in horrifying ways.
And from it, new dragons were born to bring destruction to the world.
Soon, Galar would be eclipsed by Prisma's rampage.
"What's the matter? Is no one brave enough to fight for what they care for?"
"That's enough!" Someone finally responded to Prisma. He stopped near Circhester, turning his head to see who spoke it. Due to the destruction he's caused, landmasses managed to appear, all filled with his destructive Dragon Matter. And standing on that risen landmass was none other than Bea.
"Ah, finally. Someone else appears. And it's you, Bea." Prisma looked down at her, crossing his arms.
"You...You'd dare take Ash's body and use it for destruction?!" Naturally, Bea was furious.
"Are you the only Gym Leader from Galar that's come to challenge me? Or are the others far too cowardly?" Prisma chuckled.
"They're doing what they can to keep everyone safe. I'm doing the same, but by stopping you directly." Bea was serious, getting into a fighting pose. "This ends, and this ends now."
"Hm. Rayquaza. Go on ahead." Prisma ordered Rayquaza to go on without him. He hopped off Rayquaza's head, allowing the Sky High Pokemon to continue bringing destruction to the lands. Prisma would descend from the sky, but there was already a Pokemon summoned to catch him. Flames would manifest beneath him as Bea covered her eyes, feeling the intense heat and brightness of the Inferno on near her.
And from the flames, a certain Pokemon emerged. It spread its wings, summoning sparkling rainbows from them. The flames would scatter across the land, scorching it in the process. As the flames and rainbow sparkles settled, the figure of the Pokemon was revealed.
Ho-oh.
Prisma landed on Ho-oh's back, looking down at Bea who was in awe. "Give me your best if you can think you can stop me. Show me how strong you really are." He smirked at her. Bea could just feel the terrifying aura coming from him as it was larger than anything she's felt before. His presence was enough to make her heart beat faster, and her breathing quickened. She could sense the power emanating from him, and it was overwhelming.
"What is this feeling...?" Bea said to herself, feeling his tremendous power and pressure.
"Hoh? Could it be...that you're scared?" And Prisma noticed this, causing Bea to gasp. "Yes...you're terrified. You, who's always so stone-faced and fearless, is finally afraid. Good. Because that means you're ready for the beating of your life. If you came here to challenge me, only to eb absolutely terrified, then you should just fall right here!" As Prisma raised his voice, Ho-oh spread its wings, generating a violent heat and flames that would glow greatly, causing Bea to flinch from the intense light.
Bea held out her Poke Ball, attempting to throw it out. But she couldn't move. Her legs were frozen to the spot. She was trembling in fear, unable to make a single movement. She couldn't even raise her arm to release her Pokemon. Her face was filled with terror, her eyes wide and her mouth agape. She was rooted to the ground, unable to do anything. She could hear the roar of the flame and the sound of the dragon, and the sight of Prisma's immense power. She was completely petrified, unable to take a single step forward.
"Hm. All that bravado gone. Perhaps I exerted too much Aura for you to handle." Prisma taunted. "If that's the case, if you won't battle me! Out of my sight! Ho-oh! Use Sacred Fire!" With the order, Ho-oh roared and flew up high, preparing to unleash the attack.
"I need to do this...For Ash! Go, Machamp!" Bea would still battle regardless. She was terrified yes, but not to the point where she could not fight. So she would continue to fight on, no matter what!
"Machaaaaaa!" The Superpower Pokemon would emerge from the ball, roaring and showing its impressive muscles. It was the strongest of its species, having a powerful physique and incredible strength. It was a formidable opponent, capable of delivering devastating blows with its four powerful arms. It had a fierce, determined look in its eyes, and was ready to take on any challenge.
But that's not the end. "Go, Hawlucha, Hitmontop, Grapploct, Falinks!" She sent out the rest of her Pokemon to assist her, knowing she had to put everything on the line. No holding back, she needed to win. For the sake of everyone. For Ash. She had to defeat him, or at least try her hardest.
"Much better." That's what Prisma liked to see.
The Rainbow Pokemon would create a swirling vortex of fire and light, and then released a blast of energy from its wings. It created a beam of light and fire that shot towards Bea's team at an incredible speed, and the heat and light of the attack were almost unbearable. Even from a distance, the Pokémon could feel the intensity of the attack. The air was hot and dry, and the light was so bright that it was difficult to see.
Falinks would try and protect them all, using Protect to form a barrier. The formation of the shields would surround the Fighting Type squad, protecting them from the incoming attack. The barrier glowed brightly, absorbing the impact of the Sacred Fire. However, the force of the attack was so great that the barrier cracked and shattered, leaving the Falinks vulnerable to the next attack. They were stunned, having underestimated the power of the attack.
"Sky Attack!"
Ho-oh followed up right away, while Bea was still shocked at the first attack, by covering its body in a glowing aura, before flying at the Pokemon at incredible speeds. It was moving so fast that it seemed to blur, and its wings were spread wide, creating a powerful gust of wind. Its body was surrounded by a golden, celestial aura, which gave it an ethereal appearance.
"Machamp! Bullet Punch! Grapploct, Close Combat!"
"Champ!" Both Machamp and Grapploct charged at Ho-Oh, the former striking the latter with a series of rapid punches. The Superpower Pokemon was throwing a flurry of punches, its fists moving so quickly that they were nothing more than a blur of motion. Each punch was delivered with incredible force, and the impacts were loud and echoing. Despite their efforts, Ho-Oh remained unscathed and the attacks did not seem to slow down the Rainbow Pokemon one bit.
Instead, Ho-oh charged straight through, overpowering their attacks. Machamp and Grapploct went flying, tumbling across the landsmass. They struggled to stand, their bodies shaking and their limbs aching from the impact. They could not believe how powerful and unstoppable their opponent was, and they could not understand how their attacks had not even slowed them down.
"Grapploct, use Liquidation!"
Grapploct leapt into action, the tentacles of its hands morphing into a liquid-like state, and it began to swing them around like whips. The Jujitsu Pokemon launched itself forward, its powerful arms lashing out at its target.
"Sacred Fire!"
Ho-oh retaliated by unleashing a powerful blast of fire, which managed to evaporate the flames, surprising Grapploct. "L-Loct?!" After its attack was burned away, it too would be struck by the flames, engulfed in a rainbow explosion.
"G-Grapploct!" Bea yelled, horrified.
"Ancient Power!" Prisma kept the momentum going. Ho-oh would then rip massive rocks from the ground and launch them at Hawlucha, Hitmontop and Falinks.
"High Jump Kick! Triple Axel! Close Combat!" Bea said with a worried tone.
"Hawlu!" Hawlucha leapt into the air while the Falinks all split themselves u, each of them launching towards the rocks with glowing bodies. Hitmontop would jump on the other three heads of Falinks, and then onto the second row of three, and would finally leap off the top head and strike a large rock that would've hit the middle head of Falinks, destroying the rock and saving them. Meanwhile, Hawlucha was kicking another rock to bits, saving Hitmontop. "Hawlucha, use Flying Press!"
While the two of them took care of the rocks, Grappler and the rest of the Brute brigade would charge at Ho-oh and its trainer, but Ho-oh would let out a loud cry, stopping the formation of Falink's advance. It cried once more, and a storm of fire would surround the battlefield, causing the fighting type squad to recoil. Then, a pillar of flame would erupt beneath the Falinks, blasting the six of them apart from each other, scattering them on the field.
"Protect, now!" Seeing that, Bea would order the last of her Pokemon, who had been struggling to stand, to use their Protect move, hoping to shield them from the incoming attack. But the pillar of flame was so powerful that their protective shield was quickly broken, and they were blasted back with a shriek, the flames enveloping their bodies.
"I'm getting Ash back! No matter what it takes!" Bea declared as she suddenly ran towards Prisma who was still on Ho-oh. Machamp would assist her, picking up Bea and tossing her at the enemy. "Come back, Ash!" Bea would hold her arm out, intending on tackling Prisma.
Prisma simply looked at her, intensifying his glare. And by doing so, he generated an Aura so great that it launched her back. The aura would also blow everyone else back, spreading far and breaking down the landmass and the buildings around the battlefield. He was in his own world, isolated and protected from her.
"AAAAAAH!" Bea screamed as she went flying through the air. Machamp, with all of her might, managed to catch Bea in her arms. She managed to keep a good grip, sliding on the ground and leaving a deep groove in the earth. Eventually, the two came to a halt, panting heavily and looking up at Prisma in fear and awe.
They were exhausted. Ho-Oh was strong. Too strong. They were seemingly no match for the Rainbow Pokemon, and the intense battle had taken its toll on them. All of Bea's Pokemon were on the ground. Hawlucha tried getting back up while the Falinks were all scattered. Hitmontop was on its back as Grapploct was down for the count. But at least Machamp was able to save her trainer.
"I know that's not all you have, Bea. Don't dissapoint me." Prisma said to her. He had expected better from such a powerful Fighting Type specialist. Her passion and drive was impressive, and her Pokemon had a lot of strength, but that was only on the physical level. She needed to do better than that if she wanted to face him and win.
"It...Isn't over yet." Bea said as Machamp let her go. The Fighting-Type specialist got down on one knee, taking deep breaths. She clutched her arm, feeling the damage that came from it. Her legs also took damage as kneeling was also painful for her. The aura that was generated from Prisma was too much. "We've just started." She said before returning Machamp to her Poke Ball. That meant only one thing.
Gigantamax.
Prisma smiled as he was waiting for this. "Machamp...GIGANTAMAX!" Clutching the Poke Ball tightly as it started surging with Dynamax Energy, Bea would throw the ball up high, and Machamp returned to the battlefield, transforming into its giant form, growing larger and towering over the landscape. As her eyes glowed blue, Machamp roared and flexed her muscles, determined to show off her strength to the enemy. With her newfound power, Machamp was ready to take on the challenge of defeating the Rainbow Pokémon, Ho-Oh.
As Machamp stood tall, her four fists pulsed with energy. In her Gigantamax form, her strength was unmatched, and she was eager to fight. She was not afraid to put her life on the line in order to protect her beloved trainer.
"Excellent. But tell me...how long will you last?" Prisma questioned as Ho-oh ascended.
"Machamp...Please! Bring Ash back to me!" Bea pleaded to her partner. Machamp looked back at her, smiling. Bea managed to get up, even though her legs were aching like crazy. Yet she had the drive to stand, just to save Ash.
"All I need...is one good hit!" Bea's eyes flashed as she was planning to finish this in one glorious blow. A blow that she believed would surely do catastrophic damage to Prisma's Pokemon. "MACHAMP! G-MAX CHI STRIKE!"
"CHAMP!" Gigantamax Machamp's entire body shook with a thunderous rumble as she raised her arms. Suddenly, the entire area was illuminated by the blinding, radiant light of a massive sphere of pure energy. The orb began to radiate a scorching heat that could be felt from miles away, its size dwarfing even the skyscrapers in the distance. With a deafening roar, the super-sized Machamp swung her colossal fist toward the colossal sphere of crimson energy that hung in the air.
"Ho-oh! Sacred Fire!"
Ho-oh would counter with Sacred Fire, unleashing it one time. The immense ball of fire would clash against the G-max Chi Strike, causing a massive explosion that would engulf the whole battlefield. Both attacks would push against the other, neither of them willing to give in. The sheer force of their collision caused the earth to tremble and the air to become thick with smoke, obscuring everything from view.
But it was very clear was about to win this clash. Sacred Fire was beginning to push through the Sphere of Pure Chi. Ho-oh would unleash another wave of Sacred Fire, a rainbow-colored flame that would burn the sphere to cinders, and the blast of the combined moves would cause a massive explosion that would destroy everything around it.
Bea looked on in horror as Machamp was soon engulfed by this outburst of rainbows. And soon, she was engulfed by it too. The multi-colored explosions could be seen even from the highest points in the sky, and the sheer force of its power could be felt from every direction. It was so bright that it was as if the sun had descended from the sky, and the heat from the blast could be felt from miles away. Everything within a certain radius was reduced to nothingness, and the ground beneath was left scorched and barren.
Bea went silent as she fell back from the outburst, Machamp's body taking most of the damage, but she wasn't exempt from the pressures. Afterwards, she fell off the landmass as Machamp's body return to its original size. Bea's hand reached out to her partner. "Ma-champ..." But she couldn't reach her. They were both falling into the depths below. Machamp was the first to hit the ground as Bea landed on her.
In a way, Machamp still ended up protecting Bea, preventing from taking the full brunt of damage. As Machamp laid there, unconscious and unable to move, her trainer was also knocked out, the two of them having fallen to the earth in defeat. Their bodies were motionless, the weight of their loss heavy upon them.
"Bea! Bea!" Someone came running to the scene. A few individuals actually. That being Melony, Nessa and Gordie. They were busy helping keep others safe and based on where Bea landed, they came rushing to her right away.
"Bea!" Nessa was the first to arrive, kneeling in front of Bea, who was still laying on top of her Machamp. Her voice was urgent and filled with concern as she examined her fallen friend. "Hey, Bea!" She called out, her voice tinged with worry and fear. "Wake up!"
"Oh my goodness..." Melony gasped as her hands covered her mouth in shock. The sight of Bea's injured body lying on the ground was too much for her to bear. She had never imagined that a battle could turn out so horribly wrong, and the thought that Bea may not make it was unbearable. Her heart ached, and tears began to stream down her cheeks, her composure completely shattered.
"She looks bad, but don't worry! We can help her!" Gordie reassured his mother and stepped forward.
"You all bore me now." Prisma said, grabbing their attention as they all looked up. Prisma's eyes narrowed and the three Gym Leaders could feel the aura. "This region bores m now. It's already nearing its end. And right now, I'm bored of you all. You're not worth fighting anymore." He would say, ascending into the heavens with Ho-Oh. "Therefore...say goodbye to Galar!"
With Prisma already being bored of Galar, he decided to unleash the rest of his power, deciding to speed up its destruction. And with it, the Dragon Matter grew in size, covering the skies themselves. Everyone in Galar looked up at the sky, seeing the dragon-like creature that was once a part of space, grow bigger.
Soon, in mere seconds, Galar's skies were covered in Dragon Matter. With it, the clouds in the skies began to disappear and the sun itself was blocked. It was the middle of the afternoon and yet, it was darker than the dead of night. Not only that, the atmosphere in the air changed. Everything was becoming more colder, the temperature dropping, and everyone in the region could feel the pressure of the matter. They could see a black hole being created in the center of the dragon.
All of the Pokemon Trainers, Civilans, and Pokemon could do was look on in horror, not knowing what was to come next. Some of them were scared and others were holding on to their loved ones, hoping that everything would be alright. Even the strongest trainers in the world knew that there was nothing they could do.
"Nnn..." Celestia groaned as she was starting to wake up. She was on the ground on the floor. Her head was ringing, her body aching, her mind still fuzzy from the impact of whatever happened. But as she woke up, she saw something in front of her. "What is this?" She asked herself while waking up. Everyone else would sook awaken, their bodies starting to heal up all of a sudden, as if some sort of spell was cast over the area.
"Wait a second..." Luna got up and looked around. She saw everyone was still alive. "We're...alive?" She questioned. Looking to her sister. "What happened? Was this your doing?"
"That would be me." The one responsible spoke. As everyone looked over, they all saw the one responsible.
It was Calyrex.
"C-Calyrex!" Fluttershy cried out. "You're okay!"
"Indeed. After Alpha was defeated, I was naturally able to freed as well. I did well to hold out against her for that long." Calyrex smiled at them all before turning her attention to Celestia. "But right now...we have little time to spend around here. I used my power to heal you all. I was truly grateful that I found you each."
"Ah! Prisma!" Rainbow Dash soon remembered that Prisma overwhelmed them all, his overwhelming strength breaking the team apart. "What's happening now!? Where is he!?"
Calyrex turned their gaze to the horizon, where a massive Dragon Matter storm had begun to spread. It's tendrils of shadow and darkness reached for the sky, and the entire city was engulfed in a sinister purple hue. Everything was being destroyed here in Galar. "Prisma is no longer in Galar. His sights have shifted to another region or land." Calyrex declared. "Right now, all of Galar is meeting its end and soon, other regions and lands will in the way of Prisma's rampage."
"No way..." Fluttershy lowered her head, realizing that they failed to defeat Prisma with their combined might. "Are we...really that weak?"
"Prisma is the strongest trainer in existence." Calyrex explained. "I doubt there's anyone in any universe who can take him on. No matter how many universes merge, no matter what happens, no one can beat him. Not with the level of strength he's attained." He told them. "Even if you all came up with the best possible team combo you could muster, the most you'd do is beat one or two of his Pokemon. But he has more than just his current team."
Eveyrone felt rather disheartened after hearing that.
"But, like I promised...I have a way to end this. A way to stop Prisma and by extension, Twilight Luminaria through their souls. But I need to be at full power to make it happen." Calyrex said. "The place where Spectrier and I were to meet was seemingly destroyed by Alpha...but not at all. In fact, Spectrier protected it."
"It did?" Applejack was surprised.
"Very much so. The Crown Shrine is precious to it. But we don't have much time. All of you. I need you absolute assistance with this. Once I return to full power, I can end this. Come with me to the Crown Shrine so I can reunite with Spectrier. And once I am back to my full power, I will free your friends and end this nightmare for you all." Calyrex made its proposal to the girls. It was their chance to finally put a stop to the madness that was currently transpiring.
Celestia and Luna looked at each other. They knew that their options were limited and they needed to act fast in order to save the world from the destruction that was unfolding. They nodded in agreement, knowing that their only hope of success lay in the hands of Calyrex. "We will follow you." Celestia affirmed. "Lead the way to the Crown Shrine, and we'll get Spectrier back for you."
"Yeah...We'll help you out." Rainbow Dash nodded her head.
"Let's go!" Pinkie Pie shouted, and the group began to move, their destination clear in their minds. They had to get to the Crown Shrine fast before it is truly destroyed. Right now, the Dragon Matter Storm was bringing everything to an end, so there was little time to waste.
As the journey continues.
