Twilight felt the gold rim of the carriage that was being carried by two royal guards moving her to Ponyville.
She felt a tinge of sadness as she looked back at Canterlot.
She looked away from it and felt a weight slightly lift off her shoulders.
"What are you doing Twilight?" Spike asked.
"We are going to Ponyville," Twilight answered.
"I know that, it's not like you've said that one thousand times already," he said.
"But I wanna know how you are doing," He asked intrigued.
"I-" She felt frozen, almost freer than before.
"I need a drink," Twilight finished.
Spike silenced.
"Well, we can probably find a bar once we get there,"
Twilight sighed.
Twilight looked ahead to see Ponyville coming somewhat into sight but covered by dust and fog, the town barely even being able to be seen.
Scratch that, it couldn't be seen.
The Carriage went into the fog, Twilight couldn't see a single thing.
Then when the town's buildings came into view she realized she couldn't even see from outside of the town.
Even when inside the city, it was a challenge to see any more than 5 meters away from you.
The golden carriage softly and gracefully hit the ground.
She got off the carriage paying the royal guards no mind.
The carriage left behind her.
Twilight found this a little odd but thought Celestia knew a way to bring her back to Canterlot when she was ready.
"Spike?" Twilight called.
"Ya?"
"Thank you," Twilight hugged spike.
She then started walking down the streets.
After a while Twilight got frustrated.
"Are there seriously no bars here!?" She asked in a bit of annoyance.
"That does seem a bit weird,"
Twilight once again silenced.
"And why is this town so empty, I haven't seen a single pony here?" She realized in confusion.
The Erie atmosphere started to get to her.
Twilight looked for any businesses to ask anypony around.
There seemed to be a bakery.
She checked to see if the door was unlocked.
It was, but Twilight had to push a little bit for it to open.
"A-Anypony here?" She asked.
The room stood silent.
She entered, and when the door shut behind her, she thought she heard something.
A large gasp could be heard from behind her.
"A pony!" a high-pitched voice squeaked.
Twilight looked behind her to see no pony there.
She looked down to see the pony cowering beneath her.
The pony had a pink mane, pink fur, and balloons for a cutie mark wearing a saddle bag.
"Please," She almost begged.
"What?" Twilight asked.
"Wait, your no-" The pony stopped.
The pink pony resituated herself.
"Not what?" Twilight asked.
"Nevermind," The pink pony gave up.
"What's your name?" Twilight asked.
"My name is Pinkie Pie! Are you new to town?" She asked.
"Ya, why?" Twilight asked.
"You shouldn't be here," Pinkie said worriedly.
"Why not?" Twilight asked.
"There is no time to explain," Pinkie panicked.
"I need to take you to base," She said.
"Base? What do you mean?" She asked.
"I'll explain later!" Pinkie raised her voice desperately.
Pinkie quietly tried to lead Twilight out of the building.
The streets only seemed darker now, like the city was plunged into an eternal night.
Pinkie Pie took a paper out of her saddle bag, she looked at it.
Twilight looked over at the paper.
She realized it was a map.
"This way," Pinkie hushed.
Twilight passed many buildings until she was met with a tree.
"Let's go inside," Pinkie said.
Twilight followed her and saw 2 other ponies on the inside.
one yellow and another blue pegasus.
"Where are we?" Twilight asked.
"Golden Oaks," the blue one said brashly.
"Who are you guys?" Twilight asked.
"I'm Rainbow Dash, and this is Fluttershy," Rainbow said.
Fluttershy seemed to just shy away.
"You still haven't told me why you brought me here," Twilight said.
"It will be explained in time, first of all, what is your name?" Pinkie asked.
"My name is-" Twilight thought hard if she wanted to say her real name or not.
"T.S.," Twilight said.
"Well, hello T.S.," Pinkie said.
Another pony walked from another room, the pony had white fur and a purple mane.
"She's Rarity by the way," Pinkie said before Twilight could ask.
Pinkie went over to a desk and started to write on a parchment with a quill.
"Can any of you three tell me?" Twilight asked.
"We can't until our leader's here," Rarity answered.
"Why would you even come here?" Rainbow asked.
"what do you mean?" Twilight asked.
"To Ponyville! I've never seen you before so something must have happened," Rainbow said a little agitated.
"I-" Twilight said, not knowing if to tell them about Celestia's mission.
Another Pony walked through the door breathing heavily.
"Applejack!" one of them called.
Rarity darted over and hugged the orange earth pony.
"You're ok!" She said in relief.
Twilight stood in the middle of the room uncomfortably staring.
"Is she the leader?" Twilight asked.
"No," Rarity said.
"Oh," Twilight said, not knowing what to say.
"She's right behind me though," Applejack said looking behind herself.
Applejack walked in through the doorway.
The silhouette of what Twilight assumed to be the leader was standing in through the doorway.
"Who are they?" Twilight asked.
"You'll know when you see him," Rarity said.
"Him?" Twilight questioned.
"Just promise," Rarity pleaded.
"O-ok," Twilight said reluctantly.
Rarity waited.
"I promise," Twilight finished.
"here come on in," Applejack called.
It was a massive and tall silhouette, that did not look pony.
a creature that seemed to be a mix of many other creatures walked through the door.
"Wha-" Twilight said in complete shock.
The creature stood silently at the door.
"Discord!?" Twilight asked in disbelief.
He looked down at the ground only to once again look up at Twilight.
"Yes," He answered solemnly in an almost soft tone.
"Has been a long time since we have met, huh Twilight?"
Twilight looked around the room shocked.
"I- I-" Twilight passed out soon after.
