Deals and complaints part 1

The prince sat at his desk as he looked over some papers while Scootaloo was in the other room looking over some books for ways to fly. All the while scolding herself about what she had said thinking that she had either done something wrong or messed things up for herself in one way or another.

The prince on the other hoof was looking over some information about the area that Scootaloo's parents had gone… When a guard came in with a letter.

"Sir. We just got a report. It seems the Element of loyalty has gone to fetch the parents herself." The guard announced.

"WHAT?!?!?"

"By… request of… Twilight Sparkle???" The guard added. Suddenly unsure if he should be worried for himself of whoever the prince decided to turn his anger on.

Taking a deep breath, the prince gathered his things and calmly stacked them in a pile before turning to the guard. "Then tell Twilight that for her reckless actions. She can play nanny for Scootaloo until I return."

"Sir."

The prince glared at the guard who got the hint and fled before he was forced to join her. Rolling his eyes the prince turned to a box and slid it into his saddlebag before calling over Scootaloo to give her the news.

Not long after he explained what was happening and how what he was doing was different from what her parents did, Twilight arrived. Taking a deep breath he glared at her before sighing and moving to leave. Only saying, "I expected better from you."

Rainbow made it to a temple where she saw some of the biggest and toughest two legged creatures she had ever seen. Cat-like and dog-like ones walking around with hardly a care in the world. What was more surprising was how oddly clear their ranks were. It looked like the less they covered themselves, the higher their statis.

As one that only had a loincloth on passed her, a second observation was revealed. The type of clothes also showed how well endowed they were.

She took a deep breath and calmly made her way through the camp. Acting like the big shot she felt like back home. Thankfully it seemed to work as if it didn't, then she was in trouble.

"Hay, you!" She called, catching the attention of one of the guards. "Where can I find your leader? I need to talk to him about something."

The guard blinked at her before pointing to the tent behind him. "What does slut want with-" was all he got out before finding himself on his back and cupping his crotch.

"Never call me that again." She spat as she stood on his chest, looking down at him. As an after thought she looked at his shocked comrade. "How quick did I just take him down?... you know. For my personal record."

"Five seconds."

She smiled and hopped off the guy as his buddies snickered at him. "Not bad. But you guys could use some work." She pointed out as she entered the tent. She had a job to do. And hopefully the leader was the talking type.

As she entered the tent her eyes locked onto the two ponies that she was looking for. The father was locked in a cage and mother was on a leash. She had to admit that a part of her was happy to see them like this. But if she was going to finish her task. She had to avoid doing anything that would end up having her join them.

She looked up and saw two males sitting on some nice looking chairs. They didn't look pleased that she was there. She bowed to them calmly. "Apologies for my treatment of your guard." She started. "But I came a long way on a time-sensitive mission. I request a moment of your time."

The two males look at each other for a moment before smiling. "Speak." The dog growled softly.

"The princess of my land was informed of the mistreatment of a child and sent me to fetch her parents." She explained, pausing to smirk at the mare. "I have to admit. This looks like a pretty fitting punishment."

The cat leader looked her over before speaking. "Is that so? Tell me. Why should we not have you join them?"

"Because if I don't return home. The prince will likely send a search party. Or even an army." Rainbow suggested. "And I don't think either of us want a war."

The dog rubbed his chin. "True. But we can't simply let you go after trespassing and assaulting our guard."

"Maybe if they knew how to talk to a mare. They wouldn't get their flanks kicked." Rainbow huffed. "But heck. Maybe I can help whip them into shape."

The cat smirked and walked around her as he looked her over. "Well… not that you don't have a point. But I can think of a few other things we can do."

As Rainbow jumped to the side and gave the cat a threatening glare, the dog got up and walked over. "You did trespass and attacked one of our subjects. Unless you want to be given a more severe punishment. You should consider your options."

"Fine." Rainbow huffed. "What are my options?"

"You drink a potion we were working on, you work in the dog kennel. Or you can gather some erbs for us." The cat replied. "And before you pick. I should warn you. The erbs won't be easy to get."

"And why is that?"

"Because the erbs we need are inside a large plant surrounded by vines." The dog explained.

She thought about it for a few moments and considered her options. Taking a deep breath she looked at them before she replied.

Author's Note

Time for the fun to start is coming soon. Question is. What is Rainbow going to pick? And why is the prince so desperate to get there quickly?
