The prince made his way to the location Rainbow had gone. His eyes narrowed in anger as he tried his best to calm himself before arriving at the neighboring kingdom. He needed to get Rainbow Dash back before something bad happened. But he didn't want to start a war with the friendly locals that lived in the area.

As he traveled he thought back to the talk he had with Twilight and Scootaloo.
He sat and waited after telling Twilight about what had happened and what had to be done, and watched her as she considered what should happen. By his request, Scootaloo sat in on the conversation in concern for her mentor.

"I'll get the girls and-" Twilight started.

"No!" The prince snapped. "You might have read several books on the nation. But the area she went to is only kept on select books that are forbidden from students." Taking a deep breath, he sighed. "That and you mares are in far greater danger than I would be alone."

"Does that mean?" Scootaloo asked.

"I'm afraid so, Scootaloo." He sighed. "I have to leave you here. But I promise to return with Rainbow Dash… and maybe your parents." He paused and looked away muttering. "Not likely."

"Then I'll look after her while you're away." Twilight sighed.

While Twilight and Scootaloo got everything together for her extended stay, the prince went to his room and started getting his things together before gathering a few artifacts and some of his home made tools. Prince or not, he still had a way of making a blast of a situation.

Twilight sat in the study and found as she tried desperately to read any book he had. However, every word looked like symbols she had never seen before. Glancing over at Scootaloo, she blinked at how easily, her jaw dropped at how easy it seemed she was able to read it.

"Scootaloo? How are you able to read that?" She asked.

Scootaloo looked up at her and smiled. "He gave me permission to read it." She explained. "There's an enchantment on the books so only ponies with permission can read them."

Twilight sighed and set the book aside. "I guess I don't deserve to read them after the foolishness of what I did." She thought for a moment before picking up a note and started to read it.

"Dear Twilight. If you're reading this, you likely discover that you can't read any of the books. And yes, you can consider this punishment. However to be fair, I did leave something you can read. It's on the refrigerator."

Getting up she rushed into the kitchen and quickly found the scroll stuck to the refrigerator door. Taking it off the door she opened it and looked it over. Her jaw dropped at the first line.

"Daily checklist of things to do while I'm away."

Taking a deep breath she sighed and rolled her eyes with a soft smile. "He knows me all too well." She sighed before looking it over. A small part of her was dancing and getting excited about how well he knows her. But she knew she should keep that part of herself under control while others were in the house and decided to focus on the list.

A few days passed before the prince arrived at the home of the nation's leader. After a short explanation and meal, the two agreed that it would be for the best that he go into the forest and find her and if possible, any missing citizens.

He calmly made his way into the forest and smiled as he activated one of the artifacts. After a few moments his suite slowly shifted to a jacket. Taking a deep breath he smiled and ran a hoof over the jacket. "Much better." He sighed as he looked around at the growing number of odd looking plants.

Taking a deep breath he tapped on another artifact that lit a path through the trees. Letting out a sigh, he sped up his pace.

With the added help of his artifact, it wasn't long before he arrived at the temple. Within moments guards surrounded him and escorted him to the chiefs.

Once in the room he blinked in shock at seeing Rainbow sitting at the side of the leaders like an obedient dog on a leash.

"Explain yourself." The cat hissed.

Taking a deep breath the prince smiled at them before setting his bag on the ground. "I heard of your lovely village and wanted to come see it for myself. And retrieve the pegasus that you have on a leash."

"We're honored for the high praise towards our land. But why would we hand over who has willingly given themselves to us?" The dog replied.

"Perhaps we can talk about that over a cup of Equestria's finest tea." The prince suggested pulling out a tea set from his bag.

Author's Note

Not really much to say about this chapter. Question is... what does the prince have up his sleeve? And how long will Twilight last before losing it? Or what will be the final peace that has her go Twinanas?
