The year is 1939, and the second world war is eminent. On his death bed, Albert Roche has no idea of the horrors to come, and he never will. He, who had come from a small farm, to become one of France's Most decorated soldiers, Has met his end in an accident while departing from a bus. As he closes his eyes for the last time, he remembers his medals, his deeds, and his family. When he draws his last breath on this world, he begins to come to in a new world, A world devoid of war and the modern comforts he had in his later life. He wakes up with just his Uniform, a rifle, and strangely enough, in the woods. What Albert doesn't know is that he is now in Equestria. What is a Man to do in everfree forest, except follow tracks.
