Hocus Pocus/A New Home

Terramar in his hippogriff form was looking on the beach shore for food, more specifically food that's fresh and still intact. Seaquestria did have food and by food the seaponies mean seaweed that's just barely edible, dead fish or sea creatures, raw clams basically anything edible they could find in or around Seaqurstria luckily for them the food supply in the kingdom was pretty stable.

He found the typical things on the shore other hippogriffs had found when given the task to find food on land. Small live sea creatures and a whole bunch of trash, plastic bags, water bottles, soda rings, plastic utensils, broken beach equipment, broken coconuts, and trash bags.

"These land dwellers should really start properly throwing away their trash." Terramar said digging through a pile of trash. When he removed a broken surfboard he found a box covered in some sand, when he wiped off most of the sand and blew off the rest it revealed the box was a magician starter pack set.

"Huh wonder how this ended up here looks brand new." Terramar said examining the details of the box

Flashback

"Welp Twilight i thought practical magic would be worth it but i guess not." Celestia a new t member of the herd informed Twilight. Celestia then loaded the magician starter pack set into the slingshot and launched it away "We'll never see that thing ever again, there it goes into the ocean." Twilight concluded

When Terramar messily ripped open the magician starter pack he found a top hat, and a magician magic wand, but most importantly found a book called Magic Tricks And Magic Words For Beginners. He had seen magic before during his attempts with her older sister Silverstream to steal the dragon eggs, mainly the type Twilight Sparkle and 2 other long lost members of their herd used. But he never heard of magic tricks when he opened the first page, the introduction page the book described magic tricks as practical magic.

When he flipped the page he found the section "Magic words or Spell Words" when the hippogriff looked through the list of them and found 2 that were for disappearing and reappearing spells.

"Ohhh a disappearing spell and reappearing spell, alright lets see here Hocus Pocus for disappearing and Abracadabra for reappearing" Terramar thought reading the list of magic words. "Better show the others" he thought before putting on the top hat and grabbing the magician wand.

Right before he was about to turn back into his seapony form he noticed cake baking supplies and thought that he could use them for his magic tricks.

Once getting back to Seaquestria the houses now built like theater buildings, Twilight and the other members of her herd had destroyed the underwater kingdom multiple times both unintentionally and intentionally, but mostly intentionally. Occasionally Twilight would swim down here and get the dragon eggs back destroying all of Seaquestria in the process.

Princess Skystar had printed blueprints to rebuild and keep a certain design of the buildings but each time the blueprints were either lost or destroyed during the destruction. So each time they have to rebuild Seaquestria with a new theme/buildings in this case it is theater buildings.

"Alright every seapony see this hat, it's empty" Terramar said showing the inside of his top hat to the crowd of seaponies.

"But first i'll need a volunteer" he said looking at the crowd, unfortunately no pony wanted to. So with a sigh he just ended up picking his sister Silverstream

"Alright watch this HOCUS POCUS!" Terramar yelled and with a puff of smoke reached his magician wand into the top hat and pulled out a frosted cupcake "Here you go" the seapony said handing his older sister the cupcake before putting the top hat back on his head.

"A Cupcake serisouly?" Queen Novo exclaimed in a puzzled tone, as Silverstream sat down next to her giggling and ate the cupcake in one bite.

Terramar swam off stage, coming back a few seconds later pushing something covered by a blanket onto the stage from stage left. He then introduced his next magic trick to the crowd.

"For my next trick i'll make this cake disappear." he said pulling the blanket revealing a frosted cake with sea food toppings which fascinated the crowd especially Queen Nova who really wanted to try it.

Terramar then swam off the stage and pushed a booth with a curtain from stage right. He then proceeded to summon a roof from the ceiling and pulled it which opened the curtain in the booth, he then put the sea cake in the booth and pulled the rope again to close the curtain .

"Alright now HOCUS POCUS!" he yelled waving his magician wand and with a puff of smoke he opened the curtain revealing that the frosted sea cake was gone. Just like with the last trick the crowd was fascinated by the trick knowing that Terramar could make whole things disappear.

"THE SEA CAKE!" Queen Novo yelled even swimming off her seat towards the stage. "Don't worry every pony i can make it reappear." Terramar said before pulling the rope closing the curtain and raising his wand.

He paused he couldn't believe he forgot the magic word or spell word for the reappearing spell. "Excuse me for a second" the seapony said followed by a nervous chuckle before swimming offstage to stage left.

He pulled out the Magic Tricks and Magic Words for Beginners and flipped through the pages for the list of magic words. While Terramar was busy looking for the magic word Queen Novo swam onto the stage and climbed into the booth getting a gasp from the crowd of seaponies.

"Reappearing spell, reappearing spell" Terramar muttered repeatedly before finding the magic word he was looking for. Once he swam back onto the stage he threw the magic book aside which got him worried looks from some seaponies in the crowd.

"I got it now ABRACADABRA!" he yelled waving his wand and with another puff of smoke he pulled the rope opening the curtain revealing Queen Novo's crown which led to the crowd freaking out.

"Why are you-" he started before looking into the booth and saw the queen's crown for himself, before looking back and finding her seat empty.

"Uh uh ABRACADABRA" Terramar exclaimed in a panicked tone. Even though the spell worked something reappearing unfortunately it was the sea cake from earlier. This just led to Terramar letting out a scream that could even be heard from outside Seaquestria.

All the seaponies in Seaquestria were at the scene all of them talking about the disappearance of Queen Novo. All the while 2 seapony guards were standing at the booth as Terramar was flipping through the book for a counter spell.

"OH COME ON THERE'S GOTTA BE A COUNTER SPELL IN THERE SOMEWHERE!" a seapony guard yelled at Terramar "Are you all ready?" the guard a line of seaponies in a rope chain

"Yes absolutely sure about this" Silverstream responded trying to keep her cheerful tone "Alright here's the plan we'll be teleported to where Queen Novo is and when we get her, you all pull us out." the second guard explained before they both went into the booth.

"Hopefully this plan will work" Terramar told the guards as he raised his wand "HOCUS POCUS!" he yelled and with one last puff of smoke the guards disappeared. All of a sudden the rope started getting pulled into the booth, and before he knew it pulled in Silverstream followed by a bunch of other seaponies.

Other seaponies swam over to the ones on the rope and tried to help them but the ones trying to help in the front were knocked back which created a huge mountain of seaponies. Terramar was still watching in horror as seaponies were being pulled into the booth and disappearing, before seeing the huge mountain of them that ended up squishing him before somehow fitting inside the booth.

He saw the last seapony, a white filly seapony with purple fins get pulled into the booth and disappear. "Welp glad that's finally ov-" he was interrupted by Princess Skystar who squished him.

"Where does this lead?" Skystar managed to say before getting pulled into the booth and disappearing along with all the other seaponies in Seaquestria.

Now with a broken top hat and magician wand Terramar sighed "Welp now that's finally over."

All of a sudden Queen Novo swam through the door panting with branches in her fins and fur messed up and covered in splinters.

"You..don't..want..to know..what..i had to..go through..to get..back..here." Queen Novo said in between pants. Her expression changed very quickly after spotting her crown alongside the sea cake she wanted to try.

"THE SEA CAKE!" she exclaimed before swimming over and taking multiple bites out of the cake. She then took a chunk of the sea cake and swam back to her seat.

"One more magic trick!" she requested "Fine, i'm done with this." Terramar mumbled before going into the booth and closing the curtain "Hocus Pocus" he said lazily before disappearing in a puff of smoke.

Flashback

Shortly after the herd's first encounter with the Hippogriffs/Seaponies and Seaquestria they decided to relocate to another area of this flat terrain. "Come on, we better find a new place to live in if we want the chances of those half birds, half pony but also half hippogriff, half seapony creatures to come back and steal the dragon eggs." Twilight explained to the herd before crashing into a throne bush.

But this wasn't any old thorn bush this seemed to be more of a thorn bush box which surrounded a blocked off area of this flat terrain. "I'm gonna be honest and say this is definitely out of place in a flat terrain with the occasional tree." Applejack admitted.

"I have a feeling this wall or box of thorns is hiding something especially considering that it's in the middle of a flat terrain." Twilight suggested to the herd looking at the thorn box.

"Don't worry Twilight i've got this!" Apple Bloom said grabbing a log and charging at the thorns "Hopefully this works" the filly thought before pole vaulting over the wall of thorns. Unfortunately she didn't make it over cause she crashed near the top and somehow managed to get stuck inside one of the walls of the thorn box.

"Hang in there Apple Bloom i'll get you out" Applejack said walking up to the thorns, but right as her fur touched one of the thorns she blew up the explosion was 2 times bigger than the explosion she did during the herd's adventure to get the dragon eggs back.

Luckily after all the smoke cleared it revealed that both Applejack and Apple Bloom were okay. But another thing the herd noticed was that the explosion destroyed one of the thorn walls.

"Does that always happen?" Rainbow asked the earth pony "To be honest that's actually something i didn't even know i could do." AJ explained.

Twilight noticed that behind this thorn wall and a few bushes was something shiny, and when the herd walked past those bushes they found a massive tree but this wasn't any old massive tree this one was coated in crystal, which gave the tree it's shiny look.

"I think i just found our new home!" Twilight informed her herd. Suddenly the herd heard movement and Twilight swore she saw something run by the tree. "I think i saw something, get your abilities ready." the unicorn whispered to the herd.

Rainbow and the 2 crusaders got their speed ready and charged up, Applejack lit her fuse, Fluttershy was getting ready to throw another pressurized seashell and Twilight growled getting her battle cry ready.

"GOTCHA...Ohhh" Twilight's voice slurred as she found a white filly with green eyes, and a purple and pink mane and tail. "Uh how did a filly like you end up here?" she asked the filly.

"Wait a minute is that who we think it is SWEETIE BELLE!" the crusaders both yelled before they both trotted over to Sweetie Belle wrapping her in a hug. "What happened how did you end up her separated from your friends?" Twilight asked her again.

"It's simple me and the crusaders were surviving on our own for a while until i learned about my sister Rarity so i left The Other Crusaders so i could go look for her unfortunately during my travels i got lost and somehow ended up here." Sweetie Belle explained the rest of Twilight's herd.

"Well you know what we'll help look for your sister Rarity, i mean it could make for a good sidequest for surviving in this almost magic-less world but first we better unpack and settle in our new home." Twilight stated

Author's Note

Hocus Porcus is one of my personal favorite Angry Birds Toons Episodes it's pretty hilarious especially with the rope chain joke and the mystery of where the booth leads to.

And also the joke about Seaquestria having to be rebuilt each time it's destroyed in a different way is a reference to the change of Pig City in Angry Birds Toons
