Chapter 19 - Consequences

Consequences sometimes come immediately, more often than not they take time, but there are always consequences for one self or another.

As the royal sisters that had spend countless time on the Moon just learned, didn't all thing could be fixed or ignored with sufficient magic thrown at a problem.

A lot of their problems could be fixed with water, food and sufficiently potent potions that might have raised the dead and make them dance the tango... or what ever dance they learned through their lifetime.

But some problems just had to be fixed the hard way...
For Example:

• Since they didn't use massiv amounts of mana to merely keep themselves alive on a dead moon that was more of a miniature planet, did they had to spend it somehow else.
  By example using their magic to blow tiny mountains up that are supposed to be harvested for materials.

Unfortunately if someone has a ice affinity it might cause a short time climatic change when the blast zone is covered in meter thick areas of ice as a result, that every Pegasus in weather jobs have to correct over time...

Tornadoes are no laughing matters.

• Having to be put under the scalpel, because the lungs had over millenia breath in tiny amounts of moon dust, adding up in clogged lungs.
  The doctors had seen smoker lungs of chain smokers over decades that looked like clean sheets in comparison... apparently did God's and Demigods could survive things that would have killed mortals very long ago.

• Having Stallions and Mares around in estrius season... or the chronological thirsty ones.

• Having admiring Stallions and Mares that wanted to court the sexy imortals. Especially with one cutting her tail off to show of her marehood like a 'all you can eat' open invitation...

Luna and Nightmare had not as mutch to laugh the first 2 years of their return as they hoped...
the dentist was a very brutal experience, yet it was a lot less painless than in the past.

Alicorns don't do filling of tooth due to teeth decaying or root canals procedures.
They literally grow their teeth anew, after having them pulled all together.
To day the dentist wasn't in awe and slightly miffed to be unable to show their skill of restoration through teeth healthcare science was quite the let down.

After the purge of over the half main string pulling nobels in Canterlot, Cloudsdale and Manehatten, did a lot of crime subtlety got lost.
Crimes with backhoove deals dissappeared and the Griffons that had becoming Guard and Police forces really stopped certain parts of high population centers to be burned down by junkies that could not get their shit anymore. On the other appendage, lower level gangster that had read to many thriller and murder case novels and thought they could just pull stuff one to one.

The most ruthless idiots got themselves and their followers arrested or killed, before the one without shit for brains actually started to make a decent job.

Over the next decade would crime again grow more subtleties and would need another purging.
But right now everyone agreed that open crime was to common and to sloppy executed in general.

This alone ruined a lot of tourismus for Equestrian City's and Villages.
Apparently is cutting out tumors leaving large bleeding holes that need patching over time...
Unlike Alicorn, mortals healed only slowly and scar free wasn't a thing.
Metaphorical and literally.

Many benefits the corrupted organisation brought like a stable economy, suddenly collapsed and the 'Golden Age' was surprisingly fast over.

At least all the money and art pieces taken from the criminal familys and organizations had helped to balance it roughly out.

With not to many open ponies actually capable to fill the holes in the nobility and the knowledge to do them correctly, did many trading agreements needed to be renegotiated. They ended off worse for the Equestrians, since they had partially really nasty delays.

When a certain Apple-Pear clan had the food ready, but transportation and storage and finally distribution failed, did Equestria had to become for some time very dependable for outside help.

That brought surprisingly issues on its own, but that should be explained by someone that actually knows how to write stuff like that...

The Naysay and Inkwell clan become the foundation of the recovery effort of Equestria, yet while they managed very well all things considered, did someponys spread the idea that the economy collapse was caused by Griffons, rather than the royal family 'cleaning house'.

Suddenly was the friendly Griffon next door not longer looking so friendly and many insecure ponies insisting on self defense training and gimmicks to be sold.

Years later would two sibling con artists thrive in this environment... though they produced a few of good things to leave authorities undecided if to lock them up for good or wait for one of their revolutionary rare inventions.

With Equestria in a economy weakened state, many helps to Yeti attacked nations started to fail to come early enough to count and the national community cooperation started to slowly fall apart.

When the Griffon nobility managed to get themselves killed because all their horded wealth, was not be able to be exchanged into food and other things the population needed, did a internal war ripped Griffonia into pieces.

Many minor nobel houses tried in vain to flee, when the lower class needed a scapegoat to pounce on.

Many Griffon Chick's supposed to be only in Equestrian schools for a year at a time or two suddenly become orphans.
The orphanages could not keep up.

A certain Griffon chick found in all this chaos a new family that take her in, when a multi colored foal told her parents that her best Griffon friend had nowhere to go... Rainbow Dash new adopted griffon sister Gilda Flash-Dash joined Equestria permanently.

Fates shifted and destiny could not longer hold course.
Paradoxes in the previous writen history events started and in time would one fundamental change, bring historical supposed to happen events to their knees.

Apparently who ever designed fate and destiny has not counted with a tiny but mighty Dragoness and a Draconequus to play like it like children building spaceships out of Lego-Playhouse sets.

That day the world would shake, as if it tried to losed a stone that had blocked its clockwork.
That fateless day a hard restart of a long working system was going to end in disasters untold.

The tapestry of the world destiny would have to be fundamentaly renewed and the balance of the world have to be restored in ways noone could predict.

One thing that got a massiv boost was the orphanages and the school system in Equestria, effecting unexpectedly many years later other nations by mimicking its concepts.

Construction of new buildings and renovation or extensions got added to already existing infrastructures.

Still home schooling was rather common for many families, especially the nobility preferred it that way.
What had in turn often socially less outgoing and adaptive individuals as outcome.
In exchange did they had in general a lot more education thanks to their parents and grandparents not getting the usual school teacher problems, like overcrowded classes and students that rather focused on learning to not get in trouble than causing trouble.

Cynder learned a lot of stuff she had noticed, but needed someone to teach her anyway so it stuck to her memories properly.
Example:

The day and night lasted 15 hours eatch.
Giving a weekday 30 hours.
7 days made a week.
4 weeks ended in a month.
12 months ended in 1 year.

Week days are named:
1.- Monday - Moon Day
2.- Tuesday - Prismia Day
3.- Wednesday - Nightmare Day
4.- Thursday - Lunar Day
5.- Friday - Faust Day
6.- Saturday - Solaris Day
7.- Sunday - Sun Day

Though depending on the nation week day names might change, though it was widely used for international trading and the economic different system to get a common ground to work on.

Other things like how their alphabet looked like, really give her slightly problems.
Until she noticed that the alphabet looked like 'Pokémon'.
My Little Pony Equus used 'Icognito-Alphabet'.

Funny coincidence.

At least that was all their world had in common with the anime. Cynder would have hated to have to accept that any meat dishes would require sapient beings to die for it... as would be the consequences of having every animal as a Pokémon.

Besides the standard educational system was also a magicaly educational system in place, not important if Kirin, Yak, Pegasus, Dragon, Diamond/Gem Dog, Bicorn, Griffon, Minotaur or Earthpony, they all learned it because everycreature had magic and even if not very talented in it, everyone could work it!

Glyph writing made magic possible for any race. What and how well they could work it was determined by internal mana pool or substitutes like Gems infused with magic.
A red ruby could for instance be used for fire magic mana substitute to be used alongside ones own mana.

But a Gem holding water affinity mana would not work fire spells. Magic was simply that way...
further was there three sets of Glyph languages, that worked quite differently from one another.
But usually a mortal only learned one set and its variations to effect the magic within and their environment to archiving a desired effect.

The biggest consequence to all recent events of economical world unstability was that many nations stopped giving one another military support outside key Citys, outside of major events that reached beyond a village or two like pandemic outbreaks or wanna be revolutionary groups trying pretend to know better than the countless millenia old immortals either leading a nation or traveling the world to life their existence as they see fit, under the radar of law and order ideally.

Though tax evasive behavior was commonly overlooked on their part.
Apparently some ascension blessed creatures, are not worth the trouble with them behaving otherwise... by Royal decrees when they become to mutch of a hassle.

Equestria helped only by sending Celestia out to 'Solar Lance' Yeti areas out by random for activ military intervention.
Though Equestria was still the only nation that send ~~human~~ equine-itarian aid for smaller and bigger desasters all over the world.

Usually military intervention of demigod powermoves would get any race towards the community of nations communication range to get stuff like that to stop, any sane leadership would also try to get equine-itarian aid for their people.
Unfortunately did the thousands of dead Yeti corpses helped ice climate predators population to explode and the Yetis race suddenly enjoyed more home grown meats... Yeti standards where really hard to understand, especially if they shifted depending on situation.

Not to forget that all the increased moisture in the world atmosphere from melting huge areas of ice into steam made rainstorms and wild wind storms so problematic, that Celestia was approached to stop roasting the Yetis...
at least via 'Solar Lance' abilities.
The verbal burning of these barbarians never stopped.

Of course would the Moon vacation sisters of Equestria had a high demand to catch up with laws and social standards to start helping out in any ruling capacity.
One do not simply continue with a 10.000 outdated law system and moral standard.

At some point do the Alicorns wished for a free day on the Moon or two, with them realizing that in Celestias care law and order had expanded and become so complicated that hole professionally trained branches had to be established to keep it running and minimizing loopholes to keep order in a sea of rules and regulations.

The Equestrian law and order military and non military institutions once freed of noblepony corruption, did a stellar shining job in keeping government and its citizens in order.

Especially Celestia needed help ruling Equestria and guiding it allies, since she was a newly baked mother.
Thanks to her 'True Vision' fabrication, was her foal and more often than not, her real foal daddy with her.
Keeping the royal bureaucracy in waiting for once.

Making things more often complicated beyond imagination. Unfortunately making some aspects slower than they should be.

So the Author would just ignore the details and move on... seriously unnecessary stuff that got mentioned but never explained to mutch in detail

Cadance the pink Griffon chick had her royal family more often than not to busy to raise her, so Cynder got a new honorary sister.

Cadance would not grow up a singel child anymore. Further would she know the plight and benefits of growing up mostly as a normal citizen.
Unless someone overstrained the Black Hooves patience and see that being raised like a common citizen didn't mean 'being as unprotected than the usual citizen'.

The Tree of Harmony was metaphorical fuming with rage and throwing up a tantrum in frustration that was noticeable as a earthquake within the Everfree Forest.
If this continued she just stopped to compensate and just would start events to wipe the world of its ruling nations and start a new.

Harmony was now widening her contemplations... maybe it was time to stop playing exclusively for the 'good guys'.

Cynder was three years of age now.
From here on out her rather simple yet eventful life would get a lot more... event filled.
