Chapter 20 - Cynder third year living in Equestria

After Cynder reached her third year living in Equestria, did things became a bit more busy.
While education was still rather light as to not overwhelming the younglings, did the Apple-Pear clan started to build excercises courses for the younglings and the adults.

They even become popular under the Griffon soldiers in training, with some additional difficulties added with airborne elements.

Some enchanted training dummys completed the course.

From:
- Do not accept candy or toys from stranger or wanting to show them their 'bunnys'.
To things like:
- Hit the stranger there, when they grab you to take you away without you wanting to follow them.

The Black Hooves flinching slightly, when Cynder showed proficiency in hitting and slicing off parts noone wanted ever see hit that way again... preferably ever.

Later a way more difficult and dangerous parkour got made by the Griffons to add more variables to their training.

Air Griffons, Earth Griffons or Mage Griffons, all had their strong and weak sides running it through. But every Griffon was to be able to manage to make it through. Even if they could not finish in certain time frames.

When Cynder was going one night out of her house towards the Village, did the Black Hoove learned to never let themself be slacking in their diligence, when on 'Cynder watch duty'.
Who expected the dragon hatchling to sneak into Sugar Cube conor through a open window for a midnight snack?

The panic was short lived, but Cynder being no longer in her room with Applejack, Cadance and Big Macintosh was discovered, when during the shift change her bracelet and necklace got pinged on as standard procedure.

While no audiable alert was raised, did a certain Queen was displeased to be awakend during the night. When she learned that the dragon welp was no longer in the Orchard, did roughly 200 Black Hoove Agents and sleeping cover agents converge on the village sweet and treat bakers house in case of foul play.

While Cynder was found unharmed and alone with a belly aching due to sugar poisoning, did the situation was still not acceptable.
This time it was a false alarm, but with the information of a cure of parasitic dark magic influenced being able to be produced in Equestria made public, even Ponyville had one or two 'known spies' that might have been responsible for Cynders relocation...

Noone was replaced, but a certain shift of Black Hooves Agents got blue hooves from all the extra work they had to do as part of their punishment for slacking in guard duty to the most important unique being on Equus.

Blueberry cider was getting more accessible the next season thanks to the extra work the Ling got put up to, making a mare named Berry Twist a very famous and slightly richer pony.

Since Chrysalis was a diligent and reliable sister and Queen, did she not try to cover up for her children's failure. Still did her sisters only started to calm down, when the standard 3 agents with reinforcements summoning crystals got raised to 9 Black Hoove Agents with summoning crystals and dragon fire scrolls to alert the stationed Griffon and Pony militia, 'WHEN' not 'IF' it actually wasn't a false alarm anymore.

Cynder would next time she sneak out of the Orchard unfortunately have learned a new ability to concealed herself and the bracers signature.
This time a full blown search was started, until Cynder was found sleeping off a meat food coma in the local meat shop selling fish.

The intervals of Cynder bracers to get pinged got raised to one ping a hour and her new bracelet and collar, could not longer be concealed by her new ability.

Unfortunately didn't anyling expected that Cynder might take off the bracers and necklace. When they needed to call the royals to locate the dragon welp, was noone happy how often up to this day Cynder could have been potencial be taken away... it just needed to happen once to ruine everyone chances if they ever would get infected after all.

With Cynder being found in the Ponyville Guard food storage having raided the MRE -packages for their treats... leaving many open to spoilage rations behind. Something the on watch standing agents get blamed for, having let her get to them in the first place.

But better all this small alerts with leaks in security found and eliminated, than having someone doing it for them with the intention of keeping Cynder for themself.

When Cynder tried tricking the 'take off alert', by Cynder first using concealment and than removing them. This made the Black Hoove Agents stop panicking who got the night shift with Cynder, to be punished when she again tricked them all... the dragon welp stayed unpunished, since she revealed a mountain of flaws that needed fixing over time.

Unfortunately did Cynder started to play hide and seek during the day with the Black Hoove Agents with increasingly more clever or abstract hiding places.

The little trouble maker sure was doing it deliberately by now.

The Black Hooves relished the challenge.
Every time the disguised Changelings needed the bracers and necklace location spell to be found, did Cynder got a Gem to nibbel on as reward.

While Chrysalis enjoyed the dragon welps ability of concealment, did she wondered how a three year old could be possibly that clever and deviously creative:

• The closet

• Under the bed while under the fresh bed sheets

• The cookies jar insides, after eating all the cookies to make place for herself

• The ceiling structure wooden aid top side

• The backside of a sleeping pig

• The inside of a empty barrel

• The insides of a lamp shade

• Under the sink using chemical cleaning bottles as cover

• The insides of the running oven

• The backside of the dusty refrigerator

• A bread basket filled with flowers

• Behind the showers curtain fixture in the room conor

• Inside the cloak of a out of duty Black Hoove Agent taking a nap

• Inside a stack of cardboard boxes

• A digged out hole of a dead apple tree

• The empty waste bin

• The dirty laundry basket

• Under the table curtains

• Pretending to be a Cynder plushy inside the foals plushy collection ( she literally didn't react the thirst three time the Black Hoove poked her, until a meat treat make her break the act )

• And finally on top of various furnitures.

That was when Chrysalis learned from Luna and Nightmare that their connection to once magic core allowed for them to voiceless talk to one another.

Queen Chrysalis was very impressed, how well spoken and polite the dragon was.
Something to be investigated later.

Before the third year was over and Cynder settled down with her hiding acts she pulled all year...

Did Cynder gained the Ability to summoning a strange Glyph card that let her summoning 1-10 living Puppets. Golems that acted like living beings even if their roughly designs Golem exterior didn't show their versatile nature.

Cynder somehow showed the royalty of Equestria how to connect to them to a degree, where they could use them as if they are their original bodies. Minus the limitations that the Golems body had.

When the royals started to drill their pony and griffon Guards, Black Hoove Agents and Cynder herself in their free time, did their abilities to use presets of abilities got eventually discovered, even if they collapse before properly forming.

Apperently was the quality of the Golems mirroring Cynders maturity. Until a certain threshold would be reached, would the living puppets just be good to be used under direct control if not given simple commands.

The Golems only do what Cynder told them in her squeaky voice and noise commands and what they are told over telepathy or the tethered connection magic core to magic core.
Further was Cynders command always in higher priority and only after Cynders order got sufficiently followed through, did the Golems accepted the royal orders.

Still telling them to do stuff was partially extreamly clunky, so direct control was usually needed to have any use out of them.
Currently at least these orders seem rather to be relatable be followed, when given by the Royal sisters:

• Go to point 'A,B,C'.
  
• Follow individual 'A or B'.
  
• Defend / attack that area.
  
• Stand by for orders.

With the knowledge that parasitic dark magic influenced beings could be cured came the skepticism. That was when Celestia with every allied nation witnessed how Tarterus got opened up and slightly malnutrition, but healthy ponies come out to enjoy the sun and started Picknicks all around them.

When Celestia with her foal and her personal advisor joined them, was clear that Celestia had full confidence in them being completely healed.

When they ask why it was only ponies, did Celestia ask who would raise their foreleg if they invested millions worth in bits for the cures efficiency on their own race.

Only Celestia raised her foreleg.

When the Abesinian ask how effective the ponies cure was on a non-pony, did Celestia of course lied that it only had a 2 in 10 chance on the optimistic side. Stating that biological differences are vast, something that wasn't even a lie in itself.

As expected did all Kingdom and Queendom started to pay one of many huge sums of money for research and offered their scientific best personal they had in the medical field.

Celestia ask if they had any ways to protect the researcher from parasitic infections?
At that they dropped the offer and increased the money flow rates towards Equestria.

Of course was there nothing to research, Cynder had a 100% cure chance, but she had to make up old cure attempts bill's that had never been filled out and the psychological medical staff alone wasn't cheap either.

So in a few years time healing would be increasingly be more efficiently than the years before. In 20 years would it even raise up to 5 out of 10 chances! While a 50/50 gamble was still very high and low at the same time would at least one of the currently foreign sick royal family members be healed, mentally patched up and the cure would unfortunately have not worked on others.
Research take time and money after all.

All that money would be actually stuffed into war recovery efforts of the allied nations over time and hold Equestrias own economy to get stabilized.

Equestrias standing was the standing of them all with the Yetis leaving Equestria mostly alone...

Cynder often started to nibbeling during her third year the tail and mane hairs of the Alicorn when they come for a visit. Bright Mac and Butter Cup often nibbeling on the royal mares ears to get them embracing their more sensual and social aspects of their new era in Equestria.

Chrysalis tried to chicken out on it, by turning Griffon what left only ear holes.
She did not expected Bright Macintosh to hold her body down while Butter Cup ruthlessly give her belly raspberries, until her laughter got to mutch spread to the 'Hivemind of the Changeling
race' to alleviate the sensory overload and she surrendered to have her ears nibbeld on.

Her sisters laughed unhaulted at this silly display of affection.

Life was good.

The Tree of Harmony crossed out the Changeling invasion... some other race would have to invade but who had shape-shifting... hm... unless...

The Tree of Harmony chuckled mischievously for once, what sounded inside the cave system she resided in like wind chimes blowing their merry tones into the wind.
Discord suffered a strange itch in his right ass cheek, while two pink coat colored ponies to be destined party pony filly's had a strange itch at the same time at the same place on their body. There crimson red stoic sister just raising a eye brow in wonder what their sisters predicted this time around.
