Equestria was plunged into chaos, Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon split the land in twain, fighting over control of the entire pie to impose their imperial rule upon all ponies.

Yet there were those that fought to bring back peace and Harmony, rebelling against their rule. Sapphire Spark was one of them. The unicorn fought day and night to unite people to her cause.

After finding the Elements of Harmony and exhausting their magic to create a spark of hope and be bestowed alicornhood. Sapphire, now a princess and more confident than ever, decided to seize the momentum gained.

Unfortunately, the new confidence gained had blinded her, and she made a grave mistake, one that altered both her fate and that of Equestria.
