A lot has changed since the defeat of Grogar and his empire, for the girls had to build their HQ on the outskirts of town and Twilight built a mini bot called Sparkle Steel to assist them. As for the villains, some decide to quit while others are making their comeback. It has been pretty quiet in the Canterlot but soon all that quiet will come to an end.

It was sunny at Canterlot Park, Twilight and her talking dog Spike were enjoying themselves until suddenly a blue-haired girl wearing a sky blue hoodie shirt, blue pants, a pair of black shoes, and wearing blue geode around his neck.

"Hey, Sparky!"

"Huh? Oh hi...Wave"

"You know her?" Spike asked.

"Yeah, Spike this is High Wave she's my cousin on my dad's side," Twilight introduced her. "It's so good to see you."

"Likewise Sparky, so where are the rest of them?"

"Oh you know, busy with their stuff, so what brings you here in the city?"

"My parents and I have decided to move from our old town to this town; the one where you live!

"Really !? Cool We'll finally be able to see each other anytime we want! I can't wait till you see the others!"

"Speaking of which, there's a new Daring Do comic at the library."

"Say what!?" Twilight shouted then headed off.

"Classic Sparkle," High Wave said.

In the nighttime, after Twilight introduced her cousin High Wave to the others, the seven girls were in their newly built HQ talking to each other.

"So, guys what do you think of my cousin?" Twilight asked.

"Very nice, and I just love how her mom prepares the strudel! It was delicious!" Pinkie said.

"I was surprised when I saw the whole Daring Do comic books collection that she has," Rainbow said.

"And that she has taste in style," Rarity said.

"She's okay in my book," Sunset said.

Suddenly, the alarm sounds.

"Whoa! What was that!?" Fluttershy asked.

"It came from the Gear Garage!" Applejack seeing someone.

"If it's another villain, then they are in for a smackdown!" Rainbow said.

The girls suited up and headed to the garage to look for clues unaware someone was watching them.

"All right dork, come out, so we can save the embarrassment!" Tornado said.

"HA! If I was you, I'd not be sure of that!"

Suddenly, the black silhouette just jumps over them, they couldn't see its real face because it was dark inside the factory.

"Who are you?! What do you want from us!?" Sparkplug asked.

"You think you can stop me, but you're wrong! I'm strong enough to beat you all!"

"Wait a second! It was you the strange black silhouette that was moving and destroying everything on its way?" Ice Breaker asked.

"Yes, it was me! But I wasn't destroying things on purpose, that was an accident."

"Accident or not, we still don't know who you are or what you're doing here, or what you want from us!" Tornadoe refocused the conservation.

"Maybe this mysterious person is not a villain. Maybe this mysterious person could become our friend!"Cyber Witch told her.

"Yeah, right. I'm sure that the mysterious person devises a sneaky plan to take control of the world or make a mess in the city."

"A sneaky plan!? Do you seriously think that I have a sneaky plan? It seems like you don't trust me do you?" She askes angrily

"Read the room, genius!"

"That's what I thought... Take this!"

Suddenly, water gushes out like a garden hose on Tornado and wets him. Tornado screamed in disgust.

"Seriously!?!"

"That makes me feel better! So, who's next?"

"You won't get a chance!" Cyber WItch threw down a smoke bomb that force the figure to close her eyes. When she opens her eyes all girls were gone.

"*ARGH* they've escaped from me, I don't know who they were but I'm sure they are bad guys. I'll find them, and I'll fight them until they tell me who are they. I swear!"

Meanwhile, the Rainbooms are outside the factory...

"I can't believe that creature has attacked me with a garden hose!" Tornado growled.

"Tornado, I don't she was using a garden hose, I think it's water magic," Phoenix told her.

"Hydrokinesis? But how?"

"I don't know, but looking at her she had pony ears just like us and all of our geodes glowed including her," Phoenix explained. "I think I'm overdue for a talk with Princess Twilight."

"Well whoever it is, she made a big mistake of giving me a bath, I'll kick her butt until she tells us who she is!"

After being attacked by a mysterious guy in the swimming equipment factory, the Rainbooms were on their way to getting back to their HQ. Rainbow started to get nervous about this guy, Fluttershy was trying to conform him and cheer him up, and with no reason Twilight was thinking. Rarity was doing her nails. Applejack was in the training room, and Sunset was writing in her journal to Princess Twilight. And with Pinkie. she was being herself.

"Guys! This is a serious problem that we have now! Someone has mysteriously attacked us, this guy is still somewhere in the city, and the worst of it is that this guy has water powers I can't imagine what someone like him can do!" Rainbow exclaimed.

"Don't worry, Rainbow," Fluttershy hugged her. "It's gonna be alright."

"Hmmm... Why did this guy's voice sound so familiar to me? Like I've heard it this morning. Could it be Garble? No way! This guy's voice sounded like a girl's voice, so maybe it could be a girl. Maybe Valla (Garble's sister) *Uhg*! It sounds more familiar to me! Like I heard it before I become Gekko, but this voice is from who!?" Twilight thought to herself as Sparke Steel came to greet them,

"Oh hey, buddy! You look happy to see us!" Pinkie smiled as Sprakle Steel smiled back.

"Good! See you happy makes me happy too! Hey, want to play tag with me?" Pinke asked as the robot said yes.

"Great! You're it!" Pinkie started as the two chased around HQ and the rest headed inside. Neither Pinkie nor Sparkle Steel knew they were getting far from HQ.

"I'll hide in this bush and take him by surprise!" Pinkie snickers quietly as she hid in the bush.

"Bzzet-Birop!" Sparkle Steel tried to find her but was having no luck.

They both didn't notice that something is hiding behind a tree and watching them.

"Hahaaa! You'll soon be under my control little robot!" It said as he approached the bot from behind and suddenly catches him. "Gotcha!"

Then Sparkle Steel scream for help, which prompted Pinkie to drop her mask and confront the villain.

"What's going on... HEY! Let our little buddy go!" Pinkie asked.

"No way! He's now under my control! See you, later sucker!"

He threw a smoke bomb at her which allow him to fly away which Sparkle Steel as his jailer.

"*cough* Hey! *cough* Sparkle Steel! *cough* Noooooooooo!"

When all the fog disappears, the mysterious kidnapper was gone. There was only Pinkie, shocked by watching his robot partner getting captured without doing anything.

Pinkie was sadly on his way to come back to the HQ for telling her friends that Sparkle Steel have been captured, still blaming herself for doing nothing with teary eyes.

"Damn it Pinkie! Why have you done nothing to help him!? Why you didn't help him!? Why you didn't try to stop the one that kidnapped him!?"

"What's the wrong little one? Why are you blaming yourself?"

"Who's there!? A small warning, I can give you quite a bad hair day so show yourself!" Sparkplug pulled a threat.

"Fine! I will!" It was a young girl with black and blue eyes and blue bowl-cut hair, dressed up like a fairy with a mask.

"And who are you?"

"You can call me Frostlight. But please don't hurt me!" She said nervously.

"Oh sorry! I didn't mean to! I thought it was..."

"Was what? A villain? A beast? A monster?"

"Kind of hard to explain."

"Tell me what's wrong. I could maybe help."

"Okay, so it started like this..."

Pinkie tells Frostlight all that's happened from the attack in the swimming equipment factory to the kidnapping of Sparkle Steel.

"Oh! It's awful! Who can be so mean evil and rotten for doing this!?" Frostlight exclaimed.

"I wish."

"It's alright! I can help!" Frostlight said as she hugged her.

"Thanks, I need it."

Much later, both Pinkie and Frostlight were at the Rainboom's HQ.

"What's the matter Pinkie?"

"I'm a little bit nervous...

"Nervous? Why?"

"What will the others do when I'll tell them this bad news."

"It's gonna be alright, trust me. And don't forget to introduce me to your friends!"

"*sigh*"Alright, I won't forget it!" *getting inside the elevator.

The others were with the computer monitor and notice her.

"Hey, Pinkie! You came just in time! Owlette and I were trying to find more details about the mysterious guy that attacked us in the swimming equipment factory," Rainbow said.

"Yeah! But we sadly find nothing yet. So, Can you call Sparkle Steel for giving us a little help?" Rarity asked.

"Uhm... Well... I'm afraid I can't..."

"What do you mean?" Applejack asked then Frostlight appeared out of nowhere.

"SPARKLE STEEL HAD BEEN KIDNAPPED BY SOMEONE!!! I'm sorry but I couldn't resist this emotion," Frostlight said.

"W...What? Kidnapped!?"

"I... I'm sorry guys!" It's all my fault if something like that happen to him."

"It's okay Pinkie, we'll find him," Sunset said to her then turn to Frostlight. "By the way, who are you? How do you know about Sparkle Steel?"

"Honestly, I was waiting for Pinkie to introduce me, but I'll do this by myself. I'm Frostlight, I met Pinkie earlier and she told me all that's happened until now. Since now I could meet you all I'm glad to become your friend! And if you need any help from me, I'll be here! And don't worry you're secrets are safe with me."

It was another sunny day in Canterlot for the girls. Rainbow Dash was doing her morning jog. Fluttershy was at the animal shelter. Rarity was at her boutique doing dresses. Applejack was working at her farm. Sunset was helping Pinkie at Sugarcube Corner. With Twilight, she was in her room sitting on her bed watching her pet Spike sleeping.

"How could something like that happen to you!? Who could be so mean enough to do that!? You don't deserve it, buddy!" Twilight said to herself.

Then her bedroom door started knocking and the door open up to be High Wave.

"Hey, Twilight! What's up, buddy?" High Wave asked.

"Oh! Hi there High Wavel? I totally forgot that you live now next to me."

"I know... You didn't yet gotten used to it . Anyway, wanna come to my new house? I got a brand-new trampoline!"

"Well... Maybe next time, I don't really feel as if I want to play today."

"Huh? Why not? You always want to play when someone proposes you to play. Dude, you look sad today. What's the matter?

"Well, it's sort of a secret?"

"A secret? Like something between you and the others?"

"Yes... Something like that! I'm sorry cousin, if I could I'll tell you but..".

"Oh, it's okay! I understand if you don't wanna tell it to me! We couldn't see each other for a long time ago. Do you remember when we were together?"

"Yeah... How can I forget all those good moments we spent together? It started when we were babies."

"Yep! We were born in the same hospital, the same day, at the same hour even in the same delivery room! Can you believe it!?

"I know that it's hard to believe! After our morning, my parents and your parents were living together. You and I were like twin siblings! We were sleeping in the same bed, sharing the same toys, having a bath together..."

"We were inseparable! Until this day... we have both become 4 years old. My parents and yours decided to have their own homes, so we moved to two different cities far from each other."

"I still remember how sad it was without you. I couldn't be able to get friends until I met Sunset and the others. Then after I meet them, a lot of things happen to us!

"Oh! Interesting! Like what?"

"There's a lot that I prefer to wait a while to tell you..." When most of it is becoming a superhero.

Later that night...

"Just hang in there, Sparkle Steel, We're coming to save you," Twilight said as she harnessed her geode and became her superhero self, and headed out the window.

In High Wave's Room...

"* I wonder what made Twilight sad and what're those special things that happened to her and his friends. If only I could..." High Wave said as she sees seven lights heading to HQ. "Whoa! WHAT WAS THAT!!!?"

You'll soon know High Wave! And I think you should join them too!

"B...But how can you be sure about this?"

Trust me, dear... It's your destiny. It's waiting for you. Time for your transformation!

" Oh yeah! I guess..."

With the girls arriving at HQ, Frostlight was there waiting for them. She was holding a strange rolled paper that looks old as time.

"Guys! You won't believe what I found!" Frostlight chirped.

"What is it Fairygirl?" Vine asked. "Have you found where is Sparkle Steel?

"Sadly no... But it's something more than that!"

"So what is it? Can you show us?" Ice Breaker asked.

"Sure thing! I found it in your HQ level, it's a kind of old parchment," Frostlight showed them.

Pheonix took the parchment, unrolled it, and noticed something written on it.

"It's surely an old parchment, probably came from Equestria. There's also something written on it."

"Really? Can you read it?" Cyber Witch asked.

"Sure! *cough* When the magic of friendship fuses with seven brave humans, the heroes are born..."

"Magic fusing with humans and making heroes? That sounds like us!" Sparkplug realized.

"Yeah! Totally! It's about us!" Tornado exclaimed.

"It's not over yet, there's more!" Phoenix continues to read. These heroes protect the weak and make justice prevail. But When the most dangerous villainous and sinister villains are rising, only the 8th Rainboom can be the last chance to save the day!

"Huh? It doesn't sound good," Frostlight commented.

"An 8th Rainboom? Who could it be?" Vine pondered.

"I guess it's about me!"

Both the Rainbooms and Frostlight gasped and returned and saw a black silhouette that was looking like a person.

"You again!?" Tornado growled

"Yes! Glad to see you again!"

"How could you get inside our HQ!?" Rock Roller asked.

"And why does your voice sound so familiar?" Cyber Witch added.

"Uhm... I don't know either."

"Hold on, about you? So it's you the special eighth Rainboom?" Frostlight asked.

"Uhm... Maybe... But can you just tell me what is a Rainboom?"

"Come on guys! How could he be our so-called "eighth Rainboom" if he doesn't know what is a Rainboom? That has no sense at all!" Tornado shouted.

"He? I'm a girl, blowhard!" She replied then Tornado shut down.

"Wow, the 8th one is a girl!" Sparkplug cheered.

"Are you even like us?" Rock Roller asked.

"Uhm... Maybe. I guess so."

"Why don't you come here near to us and show yourself?" Ice Breaker requested.

"Sure," She steps into the light and shows herself, it was a girl in a short blue dress, with a long dark-blue waistcoat that had an ocean wave; She received a belly with her cutie mark on the center of it and long blue boots; her hair was tied in a ponytail with a tornado shape.

"Who? Who are you?"

"Call me Surfstrike, and I'm the one who attacked you last night in the factory."

"So it was you!? It was you who attacked last night !? It was you who have water powers and used them to attack me! It was you all the time!" Tornado snarled in anger.

"Yes... But I did this because you messed with me for that! You said that I might devise a sneaky plan to take control of the world or make a mess in the city, and you should know that I'm not a bad guy!"

"She has a point, Tornado," Frostlight told her. " I believe that deep down in her heart, she's just a normal kid like us who wants to be a hero, and I believe that she deserves to have another chance to show you how much heroic she can be."

"Okay, how good in combat?"

"I did 12 years in karate and like you said I have water powers."

"Okay, but I'm watching you."

Meanwhile, a bit far from our heroes; somewhere in the bottom of the city, Sparkle Steel woke up in an empty dark room. He tries to move but he couldn't, he notices that he's tied up to a table.

(W-what's going on!? Where am I!?) *doing his robot sounds* (Hello? Is someone here?)

"Looks like you woke up right now, don't you? And to inform you, I know robot language."

(Who... Who's you!? Where am I !?)

"Let me introduce myself. I'm Elektra; the electrical villain! I have the power of electricity and technology abilities. And I'm also the one who took you last night. So you can consider that I "kidnapped" you."

(You WHAT!? But why?)

"You'll see... I have special plans for you. Soon you'll be under my control. Nobody will be able to bring you back. You'll obey me and no one else."

(You mean that you have "evil plans" for me...)

"Yep! I'm so excited about that!"

(Gosh! If I was you, I won't be too excited about that! I'm sure that my friends will come and rescue me)

"Really? You think?" Elektra asked sarsaticltiy.

(Yes I do! I always believe in my friends!)

"Alright then. If I wanna execute my evil plans on you, I have to make sure nobody else will come and stand in my way."

(Wait... What will you do to them!?)

"Let's just say it's going to be a shock when I'm done with them."

Back to the Rainboom, all the girls were at the park searching for the mini-bot except for Frostlight who watching everything from HQ.

"So from what I can understand, you girls went to Camp Everfree, discover there was magic flowing inside of you, and save the camp from a forest spirit called Gaia Everfree, and then from there you protect the people of Canterlot from an assortment of villains," Surfstrike said to Phoenix.

"That's pretty much it," Pheonix replied.

"Everyone seems so nice except for Tornado, I think she doesn't like me."

"Well, unlike the others, Tornado has a hard time trusting others when she gets attacked at point blank but if you ask me, she's too prideful to say I'm sorry for accusing you of being a villain," Phoenix said before they heard Vine screaming.

"What was that?" Sparkplug asked.

"That came from Vine's, let's go!"

"What should I do?" Surfstrike asked.

"Stay here, we can handle this!" Tornado said to her.

Meanwhile, Vine was trying to fight a villainess who she never met before... She has yellow-orange hair, a pair of insect antennas that look like a headphone, she has turquoise eyes with black eyelashes, she has two stripes on her face, wears a black mask and a black costume that have yellow lines, and a pair of wings on her back.

"Who are you for attacking like that?" Vine asked.

"My name is Elektra, I can absorb electricity and control technology. I'm the one who stole your precious mini-bot!"

"So it's you who took our Sparkle Steel!!!!"

"Yep! It was me!" Elektra grinned.

"You... You're gonna pay for that!!!"

Vine caused serval roots to appear from the ground but Elektra dodged them and counted by shocking her.

"Take that, nature girl!"

Then out of nowhere, a Flash Sparkle came at Elektra then blinded her forcing her to stop her assault on Vine.

"Well well well! See who came; six girls who have great hairstyles!" Eletrka grinned.

"Flattery won't save you," Ice Breaker exclaimed while arming her Diamond Daggers.

"Why are you doing this to her?" Rock Roller asked.

"Guys... She... She's the one who kidnapped Sparkle Steel..." Vine weakly said.

"What!?" The others gasped.

"Exactly! I'm Elektra; the electrical villain. I took your little robot for executing my evil plans on him, and I guess that you are these so-called friends he mentioned."

"Yes, we are. And we won't let you get away with that!" Tornado said. "Where did you hide him!?"

"Like I tell you! Take this!"

Elektra fires an electric bolt at them before it made contact Surfstrike jumped in front of them and created a huge bubble that protects them from the attack.

" What the-!?" Elektra exclaimed.

"Wow," Sparkplug was amazed.

"You know what? Gotta go!" Elektra said before flying away.

"Huh? Hey! Come back!"

"I'm not done with you yet. I'll be back the soon as possible!" Eletrka said then zips away.

Surfstrike pops the huge bubble she made for protecting the girls.

"That was a close one, are you guys okay?" Surfstrike asked.

"That's incredible!" Sparkplug exclaimed.

"What part of we got this, you don't get!" Tornado shouted at her.

"Sorry, windbag, I don't sit on the sidelines besides to you were about to shock."

"Come on Tornado, you don't have to blame her for that, she saved us. We should be thankful to her instead," Sparkplug said.

"Fine," Tornado groaned.

"I have a good feeling that we will see her again," Cyber Witch said as she pulls out her pad. "But luckily as we were fighting her, I was able to get a lock on her and isolate her signal."

"Good thinking, CW. And this we should stick together. Elektra was able to get the drop us than Plasama or another bad guy. She can't beat all of us," Rock Roller said.

"Even with me, since water and electricity don't mix," Surfstrike added.

"I don't even call that a rescue," Tornado said.

"But... *ugh* Why don't you wanna admit that I can be really useful for the team instead of keep being like a jerk!? I am the eighth Rainboom, right?"

"I don't believe in this legend as I don't believe you at all!"

Surfstirke, start getting really mad against all that was said by Tornado. She snarled like a dog because of madness against her.

"Uh oh! Surfstrike... Please calm down. I'm sure she'll change her mind about you, just give him time..." I Vine tried to resolve this peacefully.

"Sorry, Vine, she still has a lot to prove to me that she can handle it," Tornado stood her ground.

"WHY YOU STUPID JERK!" Surfstrike screamed before she did a huge stream of water got out of her hands and splashed Tornado as she gets thrown onto a tree. "If that's how feel about me, then I'm leaving!"

Surfstrike left on water waves while started sobbing. To that point, Rock Roller had enough of Tornado's attitude.

"Tornado! Why in the sam hill have you said that!? You've hurt her feelings now!" Rock Roller snapped at her.

"That was rude of you! How dare you!?" Ice Breaker added.

"Trust me, you'd do the same thing if it happened to you."

"She did that because you provoked her!"

"I... I... *ugh* Just let's find that villain so we could done with her and save Sparkle Steel!"

"Tornado this serious! Remember the old parchment which was saying When the most dangerous villainous and sinister villains are rising, only the eight can be the last chance to save the day Elektra could be one of these most dangerous villains and Surfstrike could be the eighth who'll help us to save the day," Sparkplug reminded her.

"And you believed it? Stop believing in fairytales Sparkplug! It's just a typical legend, it can be fake."

"Fake legend?" Vine asked.

"Tornado! You're a real JERK tonight!"

While the Rainbooms were arguing, none of them notices that Elektra was hiding behind them and saw all that happened.

"Well well well! The blowhard chased away the surfer? And now there are fighting? It might be an opportunity for me to get them! I know exactly what to do! Heheheee!" Eletrka grinned.

The villainess throws a small ball that rolled between them, Vine who had been the only one who notices it picks it up with curiosity.

"Girls, what's that ball?" Vine showed them the ball

"Huh?"

Suddenly, the little ball starts releasing gas at them. All seven started coughing loudly 'til they start one by one fainting

"*cough* Guys... It's *cough* It's a trap*faint*," Tornado said before she faint

"Yep! And you easily fell for it! Now you're trapped!"

Elektra carried all seven off them with a special laser ray and she flyes away by taking them.

At HQ, Frostlight who saw everything on the computer monitor gasped in shock and starts panicking.

"Oh no no no no! The Rainbooma are in trouble! What should I do...? *gasp* Surfstrike! She's our last hope for saving the day before it's too late!"

Back to Elektra's hideout which's situated at the bottom of the city, Sparkle Steel was in an empty dark room still tied up to a table.

(I hope that the girls will soon come to save me. I'm really scared. What does Elektra mean by her "evil plans" for me? What would she means with soon I'll be under her control and nobody will be able to bring me back?! I'm so scared!)

The door opens up showing Eletrka with a smile on her face.

"Mini-bot! I'm back!"

(It's Sparkle Steel!)

"Whatever. Anyway, get ready lil'bot. In a few minutes, I'll start executing my evil plan on you!"

(No! Y-you won't do that! My friends will come at any time for me! They'll stop you and they'll rescue me!)

"Funny you should say that," Eletrka smirked before showing him the others still unconscious on her paralyzing ray.

(What!? N-no! ... Tornado... Cyber Witch... Ice Breaker... Vine... Pheonix... Sparkplug... Rock Roller. Please wake up guys!)

"Don't worry, they're still alive. They are just unconscious, they'll wake up in a couple of minutes. Enough time for me to imprison them and work on you. Now if you excuse me..." Elektra went to another room leaving the mini-bot alone.

(How... How could she get all of them at the same time... I can't believe it! She's winning!)

***A few minutes later, in another room***

Inside seven cages, the girls were slowly waking up dizzy from the gas of earlier.

"Huh? W-where are we?" Tornado asked seeing that she was in a cage. "Guys...?"

"What do we have? The blowhard, the ice queen, the nature girl, the rock head, the nerd, the partier, and the hothead! You guys are just like animals in a zoo, behind bars, with no food to eat, no water to drink, and nowhere else to go," Elektra grinned.

"W-what... ?" Vine weakly asked.

"You heard me! You guys are my prisoners! The cages are electrical and unbreakable. And every time you tried to break free these bars will electrocute you and take all your energy. Then, this energy will become mine. I'll be mightier than before, and you guys will be weak and no one will stop me."

"What!? But... But..."

"Yep! If you guys haven't kept arguing it won't happen. Or... If you Tornado haven't chased your poor fishy friend it won't be easy for me to get all of you at the same time!"

What!? You mean it's..." Tornado realized.

"It's because of you Catboy! And after what you've said to that fish girl, she surely won't come back for saving you. Why? Because you didn't want to admit that she save you from my earlier attack that you've selfishly chased her away and you hurt her feelings. She'll definitely never come back for any of you, so I'll win and pony girls lose!"

"What... No... No! What have I done!?" Tornado started to feel guilty.

"Your pride, it shall be the end of you and your friends! MUHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!" Elektra laughs maniacally.

Above the city, Frostlight searched the city for Surfstrike but had no luck. With Surfstrike, she was sobbing near a river. The huge tears of her anger and sadness were rolling down her cheeks and falling down into the river.

"Tornado... You JERK! *sob* I hate you! I hate you so bad! *sob* *sob* I... I just wanted to help you guys... *sob* I thought that I was special... *sob* I..."

Then shortly Frostlight found her then walked to her.

"Surfstrike! Thank god I found you!"

"Huh? Frostlight... What do you want from me!?"

"We need your help! All the girls..."

"If it's for helping them so NO! I won't go back..."

"But...You're a team, remember?"

"Tell that, Tornado who said it's a dumb legend.

Listen, High Wave... I know how rude she was towards you and I agree with you that behavior isn't heroic at all, but you're a hero now, and a real hero always to help others in need. Isn't it what you wanted the most?

"Now that's what I call a vehicle!" Surfstrike said as she hops in. "Don't worry, guys, Surfstrike's is coming to save you!"

She wears on her helmet as the HQ's middle door opens then she comes out.

Meanwhile with the villain; Elecktrawas happily preparing her tools for executing her evil plans, Sparkle Steel was scared and the Mane Seven were still imprisoned in Eleckta's electrical cages. Rock Roller tries many times to break the bars but it wasn't used; the bars are electrocuting her all the times she tries.

"*ugh* It's no use! These bars are really electrocuted and it hurts so bad!"

"At least you tried... *sigh* I can't believe that we have been easily trapped. We're gonna lose Sparkle Steel just because..." Vine tried to talk.

"Because of me," Tornado came in then everyone looked at her seeing the tears rolled down and her filled with guilt feeling against how rude she was towards Surfstrike, as he thought that she'll never come to save them. " What have I done!? *sob* How could I do that!? *sob* I'm supposed to be the loyal one *sob* I'm supposed to be heroic... But... I have been a real jerk! *sob* I'm sorry guys that I let my pride get in the way."

"I admit that it's definitely your fault if it happens..." Sparkplug said.

"Sparkplug!" Pheonix exclaimed.

"What? She has a point."

"Not the best thing to do when she already feels guilty."

"Whoops! Sorry."

" *sob* It's not you who should apologise Gekko *sob* it's me! I know what I've done... And I regret it..."

"It will be okay, Torando, we forgive you. A real hero should always forgive as I believe that Surfstrike will come to help us and rescue us.

"Really? Do you think?"

"Yeah! We should be patient."

"As you say Phoenix, but she has to hurry because I can see that Elektra's gonna do something to Sparkle Steel," Vine saw her with her toolbox.

Meanwhile, Surfstrike was driving her Ocean Wheeler around the city on her way to Elektra's hideout. This time, she won't back down, it's official for her: It's time to be a hero!

"Hang on guys! The eighth Rainboom is on its way to save you!"

Finally arriving at Elektra's hideout, Surfstrike parks her bike and sneaks up inside the old building. Inside, Elektra connected some wires on Sparkle Steel to a huge computer monitor without noticing the watery intruder.

"Almost finished!"

" Let me explain to you; as I discovered that you're a really special robot which makes me wanna keep you for myself. So I captured you and for making sure that you're definitely mine, I'm gonna erase your memory !"

(ERASE MY MEMORY!?)

"Yep! All your memories about all the moments that you spent with those Rainboom dorks, then I'll reprogram you for obeying and me serve only me! And you'll be FOREVER MINE! MUHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!"

(NO! PLEASE! DON'T! I DON'T WANNA LOSE ABOUT MY FRIENDS! I DON'T WANNA SERVE YOU!) Sparkle Steel tried to free himself.

"Awww! Look at this, the poor helpless lil' robot trying to free himself! Who's gonna save you now since those "Rainbooms" are imprisoned in my electrical cages?" Elektra asked.

"I will!" Surfstrike came from out of nowhere.

Both Sparkle Steel and Elektra gasped in surprise. The villainess turns back and saw a shocked stared Surfstrike standing behind her standing on a fighting position.

"I'm back in action, deal with it!"

"WHAT!? But you... I mean he... HOW!? That windbag chased you away! She has been rude to you! She blamed you, she didn't believe in you, she tried to keep you away from the team, and she has been rude toward you! You were supposed to go and never come back! But you...!"

"I came back because I'm a Rainboom! I'm the eighth Rainboom! And I'll defeat you as I'll save my friends and prove to them that I deserve to be one of them! It's my destiny!"

(A legendary eighth one! OMG!)

"GRRRR!" Eletrka growled as electrically came from her hands. "Right! You wanna play? So let's play! But it's gonna be my game with my rules!"

Warning: There might be some violence in that part, so please don't blame me for that.

Both girls started to fight each other. They kept punching, kicking, slapping... etc. Elektra violently electrocuted Surfstrike on her back which made her fall on her knees, but for defending herself; the water-girl took a chair and hit the villainess with it which made Elekra faint.

"Take that! I'm sorry, but you deserve it!" Surfstrike said then ran to Sparkle Steel who still had wires connected to him to a huge computer monitor which shows on the screen a kind of downloading.

(Please... Do something... I'm slowly getting resetting...)

"Crap! What should I do!"

Then Elektra did her sarcastic laugh as she gets up with a bloody nose and some injuries on her face.

"Don't you know? I'm gonna erase his memory as I'll reprogramme him for obeying and serving only me. Just wait until the downloading will be full, his whole memory will be empty!"

"You! You won't do that!"

"Oh yes, I can, as I can do this!"

Elektra suddenly punches Aquafish really hard to the ground then proceeds to kick her multiple times.

"It's not a pony girl like you who can stop me! Just give up! What are you gonna do now?"

"This... Hyrdo Water Splash!"

A huge stream of water got out of her hands and splashed Electra as she gets thrown on the wall and start glitching.

"What the *glitch* I'm wet! *glitch* I mustn't be wet! *glitch* It makes me weak!"

Surfstrike got up and form two hydro water blades and walks up to Sparkle Steel.

"And for making sure that you're plan won't work again I'm gonna..." She cuts all the wires which were connected to Sparkle Steel. "...cut the wires!"

"WHAT!? NOOOO!"

Error! Error! The connection has been interrupted! Cancellation of the downloading! Cancellation of the downloading! As the computer gets switched off by itself, Sparkle Steel wakes up as if nothing happened.

Holy fish! I did it! I save the day! I'm a real Hero!

"Grrr! You know what? You may defeat me this time, but you won't be that lucky next time! We'll meet again!"

As the villainess has been defeated and flyes away, Aquafish with all her pride could untie Sparkle Steel from the table and explains to him all about the prediction of the r=eighth Rainboom as she tells him all that happened during this mission including how Tornado was rude towards her.

"And that's all that happened. I hope that you understand since now I saved you..." Surfstrike finish telling her story.

"Awww!" Sparkle Steel hugged her. "You're a real hero Surfstrike! You saved me from that crazy villainess! Thank you!"

"You're wel- wait a minute! You can talk!?"

"Can I ? *gasp* Wait... I can talk! Oh my gosh, I can talk like a real human! Yay!"

"Holy fish! This is amazing dude! I can wait to see the other's reaction when they'll see that!"

"Yeah! Come on!"

They both go, guided by Sparkle Steel they arrive at the room where the girls were jailed. As the seven jailed heroes thought that their fish sidekick won't come back for saving them when Surfstrike showed herself with their robot friend safe and sound they all gasped in surprise.

"Someone ordered a rescue?" Surfstrike asked.

"Surfstrike?" The others gasped.

"Yep! The one and only and the eighth who saved Sparkle Steel!"

"Guys!" Sparkle Steel exclaimed.

"Sparkle Steel! You're okay!" Sparkplug shouted.

"And I can talk like a real human now!

"But how!?" Rock Roller asked.

"It's probably because Elektra tried to reprogramme me it activated in me this ability to talk.

"Wait, why did that villainess try to reprogramme you?"

"She wanted to erase my memory for reprogramming me to obey and serve only her. But thanks to Surfstrike, she fought her as she could defeat her and save me!"

"Wait, she fought Electra only by herself?" Ice Breaker asked.

"Yep!"

"Oh! So that explains the little injury marks she has!" Vine saw the battle marks on her.

"Yeah! Btw, since she is now gone, we're gonna get you out of these cages."

Surfstrike sliced through the cages that were holding them. Then they all hugged.

"Thank you so much for rescuing us Aquafish! I knew you'd come back for us!" Vine said to her.

"Yeah! You're a real hero! Just like us, and even better!" Sparkplug exclaimed.

"Come on, I just did my job, I'm the eighth Rainboom! Remember?" Surfstrike blushed.

"Yeah, uhm... Surfstrike..." Tornado tried to talk to her.

"You got something to say?"

"Yeah, I just want to say I'm sorry for how I acted, it was uncool of me. I hope we can be friends."

"I forgive you, buddy! 'Cause that's what a real hero does; accepting forgiveness!"

"Besides you got sweet moves," Torndao smirked as they high-fived each other.

"Awww! That's sweet! Group Hug!" Sparkplug said as everyone hugged each other they everyone parted from each other.

"But I have one question. Who are you? Why do I feel I know you from somewhere?" Cyber Witch asked her.

"Time to address the elephant in the room," Surfstrike removed her mask and Cyber Witch quickly notice who she was.

"Sweet Celestia! Cousin High Wave!" Cyber Witch exclaimed.

"Me? Your cousin? Who's also you for calling me cous... Wait..." High Wave put two and two together and figured out who Cyber Witch was. "Twilight? Is that you?"

Cyber Witch removed her mask showing the face of her cousin.

"Yes... It's me, cousin... It was me all along..." Twilight said.

"If you are Cyber Witch, then who are the others."

The other six remove their masks showing their faces.

"Rarity, Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Sunset Shimmer, and Rainbow Dash?" She asked. "No way! So it was you Rainbow who was so rude towards me all along!?

"Uhm... Yeah... Shame on me for that... I'm so sorry for that."

"Looks like now you guys know more about each other," Sparkle Steel commented as the girls put on their masks. Then Pheonix walked to her and took a deep breath.

"Surfstrike, you proved to all of us how brave and heroic, and convinced Tornado that you're the legendary 8th Rainboom. So there's one question; Do you wanna join the team?" Phoenix asked.

"You earn it!" Ice Breaker implied.

"I... I... *with tears of joy* I do!" Surfstrike said yes.

With all their pride, they all placed their hands together.

"Surfstrike, welcome to the team!" The seven shouted as a new member join their join.

Frostlight/ Misty Freeze

Misty Breeze is part of an alien race called Cryonosians that hails from the planet Glacius.

As Frostlight she manipulates the molecules around them slowing them down to the point of freezing, either by breath or by contact with their hands. They also can modify their body mass to be virtually intangible. And immune to cold weather but weak to fire.

High Wave/ Surfstrike

High Wave is Twilight's cousin from Night Light's side. High Wave is a skilled surfer and loves all things marine animals.

As the 8th Rainboom, Surferstrike she controls water and can see things unknown to the human eye.
