It was a calm and crisp night in Canterlot and everyone was fast asleep or enjoying the nightlife.

At Flutterhsy's House, she was watching a fake vampire movie with her animal friends being knocked out while Fluttershy was bundled in covers given her fear of seeing something freaky.

"Fake? One vampire lives in town here with us, Shadow Fang, half-shadow, half-vampire, all sorts of trouble. I'll admit in my whole life as a hero, I had my scares of villains but just the thought of him draws chills into my spine after the many times he tried to bite me," Fluttershy said to herself.

She then notices something out of the window a hooded figure was standing out there in the open. He turned around to allow Fluttershy to look at his eyes and knew right away that were the eyes of Shadow Fang.

"What the... Shadow Fang!?" Fluttershy gasped only to find he was gone. "Okay, that was weird?"

Meanwhile, outside, Shadow Fang has his hood down grinning to himself.

"Don't worry my dearest Vine, you'll see me again," Shadow Fang grinned as he change into a bat and flew into the night while holding a red crystal.

Hours passed as the sun rises. Most of the kids were gathered at the park some of them being Rainbow Dash, High Wave, Rarity and Pinkie were enjoying themselves as High Wave and Pinkie Pie were on roller skates.

"Wow, you're good at this, High Wave," Pinkie exclaimed.

"Well, my mom is a former roller derby champion, so she taught some of her tricks," High Wave replied.

"Gee, there's a lot of kids out today, what's going on?' Applejack asked.

"Didn't you hear the news, the Windbag Brothers Cirucs is in town and it's for free! " Pinkie exclaimed.

"As in magicians, acrobats, and animal trainers and clowns?" Rainbow asked then Pinkie nodded.

"Girls!" All four of them saw Fluttershy run to them. "I saw Shadow Fang at my house last night!"

"Shadow Fang's back!?" Pinkie, Rainbow, and Rarity gasped.

"I saw him... I don't know why he came back?" Fluttershy wondered.

"It's probably nothing good," Rainbow thought.

"Sunset told me, about him, whenever he shows up he can be hard to beat," High Wave commented.

" Yeah, when tried to trap us in own nightmares," Rainbow said.

"Or when he tried to invade the city with an army of ghosts," Pinkie added.

"Lucky for us, that Ghost Knight was there... heh," Rarity dreamily said.

"Or the many times that he tried to bite me..." Fluttershy said.

"Holy cupcakes! What if try to ruin to circus!?" Pinkie wondered. "All those kids..."

"We have to find him before he does that!"

Much later, the girls transformed into their alter-egos and went to HQ where Sparkle Steel, Phoenix, Cyber Witch, and Rock Roller were chilling.

"Hey, guys!" Sparkplug exclaimed grabbing their attention.

"Oh, hey you guys... didn't see you coming," Sparkle Steel replied.

"Have you guys seen anything unusual?" Tornado asked them.

"Nothing yet, why?" Cyber Witch asked.

"Not even Shadow Fang? I'm sure I saw him last night?" Vine asked.

"What!? Shadow Fang's back!?" Cyber Witch exclaimed. "Luckily, I had time to reconstruct HQ's signals to track him whenever tries to cause trouble. Got him."

The HQ Montiter showed him in the park.

"This plan of mine is perfect. No one will see me coming. Next step... the circus," Shadow Fang grinned.

"I knew it! He's gonna ruin the circus!" Sparkplug called it.

"Well bat brain isn't going to!" Tornado said.

Meanwhile...

"Man! This suits me!" Shadow Fang tried on the showman's clothes. "Now I'm the showman of this circus! Now back to my plan."

Then suddenly voices belonging to Cozy Glow, Blowtorch, and Queen Toxic were outside.

"I the acrobats are in there!" Queen Toxic said.

"I hope they got snacks?!" Cozy Glow giggled.

"Ready guys? 3, 2, 1!" Blowtorch removed the tarp and all three saw Shadow Fang.

"What the... Shadow Fang!?" Queen Toxic gasped.

"Where's the snacks?" Cozy asked.

"Hello there!" Shadow Fang greeted them armed with his specter and the red crystal and fire a red beam at them.

"AHHH!" All three of three screams were heard by Bishop, Hurricane, and Inferno Flare.

"Huh?" Bishop and the others were puzzled. "Did you guys hear that?"

"Yeah," Hurricane replied. "That scream was too familiar. You don't think that Cozy Glow is up to something?"

"Only one way to find out."

Much later all three of them arrive at the circus.

"What's going on?!" Inferno shouted then all of them saw Shadow Fang.

"Shadow Fang!?" Bishop gasped.

"Welcome," Shadow Fang replied.

"We heard some screams nearby, care to explain?" Hurricane asked.

"Nothing wrong, Hurricane, you're just in time to see my latest pets."

Shadow Fang snapped his fingers and monsterized Cozy Glow, Queen Toxic, and Blowtorch.

"Oh, crud," Hurricane exclaimed.

"Holy cow, they're monsters! But how?" Bishop asked.

"What to find out?" Shadow Fang Impiled before blasting them with his specter.

Meanwhile, the Rainbooms had arrived at the circus.

"For being a circus, this place is empty," Surfstrike said as they looked around the big top.

"Well, it recently just came here to Canterlot," Rock Roller said.

"I getting serious horror movie vibes right now," Vine chimed unaware of they were being watched by Shadow Fang and his monsters.

"Hmmm, the Rainbooms are here... Perfect for my collection! Get them!"

"Where can that bat be?" Rock Roller asked.

"Uhh, guys," Sparkplug grabbed the attention. "My Pinkie Sense is going haywire."

"Meaning?" Tornado asked.

"We're about to ambush by a monster."

"Not to be rude, but that sounds a little too crazy," Ice Breaker said.

"You wanna bet?" Phoenix asked as all of them turn around and saw a lava monster.

"I think I speak for all of us when I say AHHHH!" Sparkplug screamed as everyone scatter.

The lava monster spews out hot lava which Surfstrike and Cyber Witch avoid.

"What the fish!? It can fire hot lava!?" Surfstrike exclaimed.

"There's only one person who has lava-based powers... Inferno Flare!" Cyber Witch exclaimed before Inferno fired again. "Duck!"

The two quickly hid behind two trailer houses forcing Inferno Flare to miss.

"That was a close one."

"Uh," Surfstrike quivered before seeing a monster Bishop. "Bishop!? Bishop is that you?!"

Bishop didn't reply and attacked Surfstrike with a magic blast with Surfstirke dodging.

"Sorry in advance!"

Surfstrike kicked her in the chest sending her back.

"Don't worry, cousin I'm on..." Cyber Witch tried to help her but was stopped by the sound of a snarling Cozy Glow. "Uh-oh!"

Then Cyber Witch ran away from her then Cozy Glow went after her.

"I know you have a bone to pick with me, Cozy but this is too much!"

Tornado was in the air seeing Cyber Witch and Surfstrike dealing with the monsters.

"Wait a minute, Bishop! Cozy Glow! What happened in the world happened to them!?" She asked then a monsterized Hurricane came from behind. "Not you too!"

Meanwhile, Rock Roller and Ice Breaker were fending off Inferno Flare.

"What in the devil happened to him!?" Ice Breaker exclaimed.

"Don't know but we got company!" Rock Roller exclaimed before seeing Queen Toxic.

"I'll handle her, you get Inferno!" Ice Breaker said as her hands glowed. "Time for you, to chill out!"

Ice Breaker did an ice blast at Queen Toxic casung her to freeze as Rock Roller gave a quick jab to Inferno knocking him out.

"Sorry about that," Rock Roller said then Tornado came crashing down with stunned Hurricane.

"I can't believe to fight her!" Tornado exclaimed just as Surfstrike and Cyber Witch came while carrying Bishop in a net.

"Can someone explain what freaking fish is going on!?" Surfstrike snapped as Vine and Phoenix caught up with them.

"Bishop as well!?" Phoenix asked.

"Yep!"

"So... we're after Shadow Fang and suddenly our friends and two villains were turned into monsters and attack us... How?" Phoenix wondered.

"Yeah, that's weird," Tornado commented.

"I have a bad feeling about this," Vine shivered.

"Wait... Where's Sparkplug?"

"AHHH! Help me!" Sparkplug screamed as she was being dragged by Blowtorch.

"Don't worry I'll save you," Tornado tried to help her but was carried off by another monster. "What the... Black Falcon!?"

"Now, Black Falcon!? How many monsters are here!?" Surfstrike shrieked.

"Uh... Surfstrike..." Ice Breaker tried to get her attention as they were surrounded by the monsters.

"Oh, son of sea biscuit," Surfstrike said as the monsters cornered them. "Anyone has a bright idea? I don't want to be snack sushi for them!"

Then Pheonix had an idea.

"I do, when I give the word, close your eyes then run! Got it?"

"Got it!"

"Now!" Phoenix shouted cueing the others to run as she blinded them with a flash spell then she ran as well. "Te visurum."

Meanwhile, both Blowtorch and Black Falcon delivered Tornado and Sparkplug to Shadow Fang being tied up.

"Well done, Black Falcon. You too, Blowtorch," Shadow Fang said to them as Tornado came around.

"Where am I?" Tornado asked then saw Shadow Fang. "Shadow Fang!"

"Welcome, ladies!" He greeted them.

"Sparkplug, you're here!"

"Mmmmm!" Sparkplug gagged 'Tornado! Thank cotton candy you're here!'

"So? Did you two and the rest of your girlfriends enjoy playtime with your monsterized friends?" He asked.

"Monsterized? So you're the one who turned them into monsters!?" Tornado replied.

"Yep, but enough chit-chat now... join me!" Shadow Fang declared

"Join you!?"

"Be my new monsters!"

Shadow Fang used his crystal and fire a red beam at both of them.

Much later...

"I hope they're both okay," Vine said as they entered the big top.

"You think that Sparkplug and Tornado are here?" Phoenix asked Surfstrike asked.

"Base of Black Falcon's direction, I'm sure," Surfstrike told her. "Sparkplug and Tornado! Where are you guys?!"

Then suddenly they heard a crack of thunder as a monster hybrid of Sparkplug and Tornado was on stage.

"No... Sparkplug... Tornado... Not you two!" Rock Roller gasped.

"But how!?" Ice Breaker asked.

"Simple, my dear I did! I'll think I call this one Savage Storm!" Shadow Fang appeared right on top of them.

"Shadow Fang! So it was you!" Phoenix exclaimed.

"Of course it was me! I'm turning all of you, your friends, and everyone else into monsters to make my own circus of freaks! And will join us!"

Suddenly Blowtroch and Black Falcon came from the sides and ambush them.

"Never!" All of the shouted as Surfstrike did a wave blast that sent them back.

"Let's get out of here!" Phoenix said before she, Cyber Witch, and Rock Roller were frozen solid by monsterzied Glacier, and Savage Storm fired a lightning bolt at Ice Breaker.

"Ice Breaker? Are you okay?" Vine asked.

"I'm fine darling but you and Surfstrike get out and find help, I'll do my best to hold them off."

"Are you sure?" Surfstrike asked.

"I'm sure."

"Come on, Vine! Let's get out of here!" Surfstrike said as they left the Big Top.

"You two are the only hope," Ice Breaker said before going into her magic mode.

Outside...

"We can't leave them in the hands of that monster!" Vine exclaimed.

"I know, V, we'll find a way to save them...somehow," Surfstrike said as they rode the Ocean Wheeler to HQ.

At HQ, Sparkle Steel saw Ice Breaker struggling against Shadow Fang and his monsters.

"Oh no... Ice Breaker is in trouble!" Sparkle Steel exclaimed as Surfstrike and Vine came in with Vine in tears.

"Vine? Surfstrike?"

"Sparkle Steel! It's awful!" Vine exclaimed in tears. "All our friends got monsterized!"

"I know...Vine... I know." Sparkle Steel and Surfstrike hugged her.

"Neither me *hic* or *hic* Surfstrike can't take on Shadow Fang and plus I'm still afraid."

"Calm down, Vine, I'm sure there's a solution to this madness," Surfstrike said to her.

"But you ain't going to find it by staying and crying," Ghost Knight said as he and his ghost friend Mistra.

"Ghost Knight!?" All of them gasped.

"The old saying goes to beat a monster you need a monster," Ghost Knight said.

"What brings you guys here?" Sparkle Steel asked.

"Dusk and I were on a mission just hours ago," Ghost Knight started to explain.

Flashback...

There it is," Dusk said seeing the big top.

"So it's here where the Facloneers told us where Black Falcon was," Ghost Knight said.

"Come on, Ghosty Let's take a look!"

"You're sure it's safe?"

"Hmm... Let's see," Dusk Melody looks around.

Just as Ghost Knight was about to go in, he saw Vine and Surfstrike.

"What are they doing here? Eh... Dusk?" Ghost Knight called for her.

"AAAAH! HELP!

"Dusk!" Ghost Knight shouted then head inside and saw her. "Dusk Melody, are you okay?"

She turned around showing Ghost Knight that she was monsterized.

"Holy Ghost Swords!"

End of Flashback

"Then Shadow Fang showed up and try to monsterize me too..." Ghost Knight finishes his story.

"Oh? So why do you seem fine?" Surfstrike asked.

"It didn't work because I'm a ghost! And the beam passed right through me!" He answered as Mistra clapped. "BTW where are the others?"

"They got caught and monsterized," Sparkle Steel told him,

"Even Ice Breaker?"

"Even Ice Breaker."

"What!?" Ghost Knight exclaimed as he went into ghost form. "GAHH! I'LL NEVER LET THIS VAMPIRE HURT OUR SPARKLING DIAMOND! IF HE DOES I'LL KILL HIM! WE NEED TO STOP HIM NOW!"

Ghost Knight turned back to normal and both Vine and Surfstrike hands.

"Come, ladies, our friends need help!"

Meanwhile, Cyber Witch, Pheonix, and Rock Roller were still trapped by Glaicer, and Ice Breaker was sitting in a lion cart.

"Enjoy the ice box, Ice Queen?" Shadow Fang asked.

"Very amusing," Ice Breaker said.

"Now it's your turn to join my monster army," Shadow Fang grinned as he use the monster on her transforming her into an Ice Monster. "HA HA HA! THIS IS FUN!"

Just as Ice Breaker continue to go monster Savage Storm grabbed Shadow Fang's crystal forcing him to stop.

"What are doing!? Stop!" Shadow Fang shouted.

"Oh, my head... wait did he monsterize me!?" Ice Breaker said she look at her monster's hands and then saw Savage Storm rebelling.

"Give me back my crystal! All of you! Get that traitor and give my crystal!" He orders the others to attack Savage Storm.

All of them forced Savage Storm to submit only for half-monsterized Ice Breaker to watch.

"Sparkplug. Tornado."

Dusk Melody grabbed the crystal and gave it back to Shadow Fang.

"Thank you, at least some of you have some respect for me," Shadow Fang said. "And now all of you will see what happen to the ones that rebel against me. Take her outside!"

Cozy Glow did as she was told and took Savage Storm outside.

"This is going to be fun!" Shadow Fang grinned then turn to Ice Breaker. "And as for you, don't even think about trying to escape or helping your friends. I ain't done with you yet!"

Shadow Fang and the rest of the monsters walk out leaving Ice Breaker.

"Please hurry, Vine and Surfstrike, our friends are being badly treated and me nor the others can help them."

A little bit farther from the circus...

"Here we are... the circus is over there," Ghost Knight said as he and the others just outside of the circus. "I wonder why all of Shadow Fang's freaks are gathered outside?"

"Allow me," Vine used her owl spirit to see Shadow Fang blasting Savage Storm.

"Take This!"

Shadow Fang fired a Dark Matter blast at them making them wince in pain.

"*Gasp* Shadow Fang torturing Sparkplug and Tornado in front of the others!" Vine exclaimed.

"What a monster!" Ghost Knight said.

"This is what you get for rebelling against me!" Shadow Fang snarled. "Do not disobey your master if you don't want to suffer!"

"No... Sparkplug... Tornado..." Vine thought about all the times she had with her friends. "NO! I won't let him keep doing this!"

"That's great, Vine," Surfstrike smiled. "Before we make a plan, Ghost Knight do anything on that crystal Shadow Fang's holding?"

"Yeah, that is The Crystal of Transformation. It has the power to transform anybody into anything which depends on the person who holds it," Ghost Knight explained.

"And Shadow Fang's case he used it to transform everyone into monsters... so if we take the crystal we can use it to transform everyone back to normal," Vine realized. "Guys, I have a plan for this!"

"That's what I'm talking about!" Ghost Knight cheered.

Twenty minutes later...

"Here... Now the rest of you can do whatever you on them," Shadow Fang said.

"Hey! Fang Freak! Over Here!" Ghost Knight grabbed him and the others' attention.

"Come and pick on someone of your size!" Ghost Knight went into ghost form and draw his sword.

"Wanna bet, ghost boy? Monsters, grab him!"

All of Shadow Fang's monsters lunged at him.

"Bring it on! I'm not scared!"

"Perfect!" Vine said as she, Surfstrike, and Mistra went to Savage Storm. "Sparkplug! Tornado! You're both here! Don't worry guys we'll get you out!"

"No...it's too late for us..." Tornado said.

"Go help Ice Breaker and the others... She hasn't been monsterized like us and the others trapped in Glacier's Freeze Blast!" Sparkplug said.

"Well okay, Surfstrike stay here, I'll find the others," Vine said looking for Ice Breaker and the others.

...
...

"Ice Breaker!"

"Vine?"

"Oh my goodness, what happened Did Shadow Fang try to monsterize you!" Vine frees her from the cage.

"Yes, but if Sparkplug and Tornado weren't there it would be a lot worse," Ice Breaker replied.

"How brave of them, now we need the others. Any ideas?"

"Good question?"

They both of them heard the whistle of Mistra.

"Oh, Mistra! There you are! Do you think you can do something Phoenix and the others unmelted?" Vine asked then the little ghoul nodded.

Mistra took a deep breath and blast out fire melting the ice and freeing the others.

"Thank you so much, Mistra!" Cyber Witch exclaimed.

"Good job! Where's Surfstrike?" Phoenix asked.

"Watch Sparkplug and Tornado," Ghost Knight pops his head. "Hey, ladies! Guess who's here now!"

"Ghost Knight? What happened to the monsters?" Vine asked.

"Ahh! Ghost Knight! Don't look at me!" Ice Breaker tried to hide her face.

"Don't worry, I made that they were far away from Shadow Fang's reach then I used a sleepy gas to make them unable to follow them. Man, you're right Mistra this stuff is useful."

"You always impress me," Rock Roller said.

"Yeah, you sure are smart," Ice Breaker said.

"Ice Breaker?"

"Shadow Fang, had you monsterzied, right?"

"Well... halfway."

"C'mon, don't feel ashamed you can show me."

"Promise you won't freak out?"

"You have my word," Ice Breaker showed her face, and Ghost Knight blushed like mad. "So... Do you think that I'm ugly? If you have to say it, say it."

Are you kidding? You look awesome sure like usual but a bit different but you're still the Ice Breaker we all love! No matter how you'll be you'll always stay the one we know!" Ghost Knight replied.

"You mean it?"

"Every last word."

Then suddenly Ice Breaker hugged him.

"Thank you for the nice things."

"No problem," Ghost Knight said to her. Sweet Mother of Ghost! She's hugging me! She really likes me! AAAH!

"Isn't that lovely?" Shadow Fang mocked them.

"You!" Rock Roller saw him.

"I admit the way you could rid of my monster was pretty clever but not enough to stop me! Now if would excuse me I have a whole city to monsterize, and all of you are high on my list."

"No! I won't let you!" Vine exclaimed.

"You sure about that Vine? You can be the main attraction of this circus! Just imagine of what we can do once you'll join us," Shadow Fang offered before blasting her but Vine brought her shield to deflect it.

"Nope! Listen here, Shadow Fang! You care to scare me, threaten me, or even try to bite me but I'll never let you hurt my friends!"

"You think you can stop me?! I still have the crystal! And with its power, no one can stop me!"

"You're thinking what I'm thinking?" Phoenix asked Cyber Witch.

"You know it," Cyber Witch replied then armed her Flash Sparkle Star. "Hey, Fang Face!"

"What!?" Shadow Fang stops firing at Vine then turns toward Cyber Witch.

"Try This!"

She threw it at him then it flashed in his face blinding him.

"AAAAAH! My eyes!" Shadow Fang was blinding which allow Vine to tie him up.

"Nice one!" Rock Roller exclaimed.

"Ow... my eyes."

"Poor thing," Ghost Knight said before grabbing the crystal. "Got it!"

"Great! No more monsters!" Phoenix said.

"Not let reverse its power," Ghost Knight used his power and reverse the crystal power and turn Ice Breaker to normal.

"Yay! It worked!"

Much later, Ghost Knight used the gem to spilt apart Tornado and Sparkplug

"Oooof... My head..." Tornado groaned. "Why does my body hurt so much?"

"Or even the fact we have on dog collars?" Sparkplug added.

"Awesome, you guys are back!" Vine exclaimed as she hugged both of them Ghost Knight turned the rest of the monsters back to normal.

"Why do I feel dizzy?" Queen Toxic asked.

"What just happened?" Inferno Flare also asked.

"Why was my costume ripped!?" Black Falcon shrieked.

"Why are all gathered here?" Dusk Melody asked.

"I feel like I just unlocked a whole new level of power!" Cozy Glow grinned.

"Ok! I'm out!" Black Falcon said then took to the skies.

"I never knew Black Falcon's skin is so pale?" Hurricane asked.

"Neither did I," Bishop replied.

"I don't even remember what happened," Glacier said before he ice slid out.

"Sweet! Everyone's back to normal!" Surfstrike cheered. "Not what do we do with the crystal?"

"Eh... Ghost Knight... may I?" Rock Roller asked as Ghost Knight handed it to her.

Rock Roller smashed it with her fists.

"There no more crystal!"

"Was that necessary?" Cyber Witch asked.

"Yes... it was nobody should have that kind of power ever again," Phoneix assured her.

"I'll get for this Rainbooms! Mark my words! Revenge will be mine!" Shadow Fang turned into a bat and then flew off.

"Bye Batboy!" Tornado said to him. "Who's up for a movie and don't worry it's nothing scaring related."
