The Daily Life Of Anonymous

Anon sat lazily on a purple sofa in one of Twilight's many libraries, with a leg draped over the arm and an arm as a pillow he was comfy. While he did have an open book in front of him, this is not where his attention lied. It was instead focused on a large scratch that covered the length of his arm, lifting the bandage covering it and watching it closely as it slowly healed. After some time, he could no longer see the raw flesh underneath the forming scab which lost his interest. Instead, choosing to look upon a certain demon, who laid on the same sofa as Anon but underneath the draped over leg, her tail occasionally swishing as her dreams play in her mind. His eyes moved from her tail to her barrel, where he watched her chest rise and fall as she slept peacefully. It did not take long however for that to become boring.

Anon closed the book he was 'reading' and tossed it over his head. It did not travel very far before hitting something with a thud. The book came back into his view as a wooden hand gingerly placed it on a nearby coffee table.

"I would ask that you refrain from doing that any further." A familiar voice spoke, the noise echoing around the rotund room slightly.

The human sighed heavily. "Then why do you keep handing me this crap?" He questioned sarcastically. His head not moving from its prior position as he simply looked forward.

"If by 'crap' you mean not to your taste then I must ask again. What genre do you prefer?" Mac asked in a strained tone.

Anon took a deep breath before finally turning his head to the construct. "For the last fucking time. I don't want to read." He stated loudly.

Mac gestured to the human. "You state you are bored 'out of your mind' while we have thousands of books in this one room, not to mention the many genres, easily accessible." It stated, clearly confused by the words said to him.

"You were told to guard me. Not talk to me, so piss off and leave me alone." He stated loudly, gesturing with a thumb to leave.

The construct simply nodded before walking towards the wooden double doors before turning around as it blocked them.

The human dragged both hands down his face as he groaned. "I'm losing my damn mind." He commented to himself.

After what seemed like an eternity. Mac moved away from the door as it opened, Its brass handles enveloped with purple magic. Twilight trotted in, her eyes quickly scanning the room for Anon. Her eyes did not have to wander far as she spotted the human's hair poking out from one of the couches. Anon had ignored the newcomer, choosing to instead look over the various cuts and bruises that covered his body. Only when the purple pony came into his view did Anon acknowledge her existence.

Anon spoke, his voice dripped in sarcasm. "What can I do for ya warden?" He asked, his eyes still focused on his injuries.

Twilight sighed before replying. "Apologies, I had some last minute errands to run and needed you in one place." She explained.

Anon finally turned to the Alicorn with a scrutinizing look. "What kind of fucking errands are you doing that requires me to be locked in here?" He questioned, throwing his hands up slightly for emphasis.

"The ones where I don't want Mayor Mare to see a battered human, days after the hospital incident. The majority of ponyville still see you as a stranger and even a risk. But I'm hoping to change that eventually." She explains.

"Mayor Mare? You refer to her as her job title?" Anon questioned as Twilight gave her own confused look towards the human.

"What, no. Her name is Mayor Mare, and she is the Mayor of Ponyville." She states with matter-of-factly. "She has been since I got here." Twilight added.

Anon rubbed his temples. "Ok, honestly fuck these pony names." He stated with a groan. "Whatever. You're done with your little errand right?" He asked.

Twilight tilted her head slightly before responding, her eyes wondering to the floor. "Well, I do need to quickly run some tests before I let you go." She stated with a sheepish smile.

The human groaned in response, rubbing his face with the palms of his hands. "Fine, whatever."

The Alicorn gave him an appreciative smile before she began walking back out the room. Anon sighed as he swung both legs off the couch before standing up. He decided not to wake up the sleeping demon, instead choosing to leave her in her deep slumber as he followed Twilight out of the room

Twilight turned to Mac as she passed him. "Oh, Mac. Starlight wanted your help with something. Could you find her and give her a helping hoof?" She asked.

The construct wasted no time in replying. "Of course Princess. Please call for me if needed." It responded, giving a bow as it gave the human a quick glance before leaving.

Twilight watched the construct leave, turning her head towards Anon, confirming that he was going to follow her. With this she continued out the room and walked down the long corridors, the human quickly catching up as they walked side by side.

"So how are your injuries?" Twilight asked, attempting to strike up a conversation.

Anon made a small grunt before speaking. "Fine. Probably gonna sleep or just relax after the tests tho. Still painful to walk." He stated casually.

Twilight shot him a concerned look. "You shouldn't be walking if it hurts." She insisted. To which Anon simply shrugged.

It did not take long for the duo to reach one of Twilight's many studies. In the middle sat a large rectangular table with a chair either side. On one side were various folders and parchment stacks. The other side had what looked like medical tools like thermometers, blood pressure machines and a few Petri dishes with a selection of needles.

Anon released what the Petri dishes and needles were for, an entertained smile spread across his face. "How much blood you need?" He asked, flicking his pocket knife out.

Twilight quickly turned to face the human. "No. No. I need no more than a couple drops. Which I can achieve on my own." She stated, leaving no room for misinterpretation.

Anon ignored her as he walked over to the table, hovering his free hand over the empty and open dishes. Before doing anything, he was able to see magic beginning to concentrate around the knife. Quickly moving his hand down. Twilights magical aura grasped at thin air which made her pause for a second. This gave the human enough time to drag the knife down his palm as he squeezed his hand tightly. Blood pouring onto the Petri dishes as they overflowed in no time. The excess blood stained the table as it dripped to the floor.

Twilight groaned heavily as she stared at Anon. "For Celestia's sake!" She exclaimed loudly. "Why are you like this?" She questioned, her voice dripping with frustration.
