The duels had begun.

On each side of him two pillars of light appeared as the two monsters floated upwards.

But at that moment, the abductor's dress shimmered, creating a circle above her head.

“Its a Spell Counter on your Magical Abductor,” said Blueblood frowning.

“That's right,” Spike replied determinedly, “Magical Abductor will gain a Spell Counter every time a Spell card is activated, like this one, Graceful Charity.”

At that moment, Spike drew 3 cards from his deck, upon seeing them, he sent 2 cards to the graveyard at the same time that another magic circle appeared above Magical Abductor.

“And finally I will use Monster Reborn, Vector Pendulum will be reborn from the graveyard,” Spike said as his Dracoverlord appeared on the field, at the same time the last circle appeared on top of the Magical Abductor. (ATK 1850/DEF 0/Lv 4/P 3)

“3 Spell Counters, this is bad,” Blueblood said, grinding his teeth.

“Heathspike, are you ready?” Spike asked.

Heathspike nodded with a smile, “Let's kick his ass.”

Spike smiled and turned to Blueblood, “Last chance to surrender Blueblood.”

Blueblood just shook his head but full of anger when he saw that a duelist whom he considered a weakling was dominating the duel.

"Then that's it, appear now, the circuit that will burn the future," Spike said as his 3 monsters began to glow in a red light at the same time that a circle appeared on the field which had 8 arrows similar to those of a Link Monster, "The condition to summon it is at least one Dracoslayer monster.”

"I'm placing Luster Pendulum, Vector Pendulum and Master Pendulum on the Link Markers," Spike said as his monsters turned into energy which went to the bottom 3 arrows of the circle, which had lit up, now colored red.

"Appear, warrior flowing with the power of the dragon alchemy, whose body bears the scales of the brave hero who will fight to the end and spread his mystical fire on the battlefield, LINK SUMMON."

From the circle appeared Spike Link Monster and his Duel Spirit, in his complete form, "MASTER HEATHSPIKE, THE MYSTIC DRACOSLAYER." (ATK 2000/LINK-3)

Heathspike's appearance made Blueblood not look away.

“So it's true, that's the Mystic Dracoslayer.”

"Who said that?" Spike and Heathspike asked themselves upon hearing a voice which was not Blueblood's, they looked everywhere looking for a possible spectator, but no, apart from the unconscious duelists, the only ones present were them, Twilight, Sunset, Cozy and Moondancer.

After pondering the situation for a few seconds, Spike shook his head, “Ok, it's not important.”

"Cut through space time and carve the arc of victory," Spike chanted as his Pendulums pointed their swords up, and each shot a beam of darkness which connected and opened a portal above him. "I can summon level 4, 5 and 6 monsters at the same time," Spike explained. "I PENDULUM SUMMON!"

That's when all of the monsters Spike used to summon Heathspike had returned, each marked by a Heathspike Link Marker.

“There's no way,” Blueblood exclaimed, feeling fear.

“And now I'll use Heathspike's effect, remove a Dracoslayer from the graveyard and gain 1000 attack points,” Spike said as an aura of energy surrounded Heathspike, increasing his power. (ATK 3000)

“Now destroy Rare Metal Dragon,” Spike ordered.

“Lets do this,” Heathspike said as he used his sword to stab Rare Metal Dragon, destroying it.

Spike: 4000 LP
Blueblood: 2425 LP

“Master Pendulum,” Spike ordered as his Dracoslayer destroyed Marauding Captain.

Spike: 4000 LP
Blueblood: 1675 LP

“Just one more attack Spike,” Heathspike told him.

“Not so fast Duel Spirit,” Blueblood said as a monster that looked like a demonic fader appeared in his field, “I used Battle Fader, Battle Fader let me end this battle phase.”

“Darn it,” Spike exclaimed, frowning.

But after a few seconds, Spike and Heathspike realized something.

“Wait, he was talking to me?” Heathspike wondered.

“Yes, I was talking to you, Duel Spirit,” Blueblood told him.

“It's not possible,” Spike said surprised, “How can you see it?”

“How can you see me?” Heathspike asked him.

“Hehe, you're not the only one with a Duel Spirit,” Blueblood replied as a gloomy aura began to surround him.

And at that moment, a voice was heard, the same voice they had heard before, “Blueblood, this child is stronger than we thought, I think it is time for you to let me take your place in the duel.”

Spike and Heathspike's eyes widened when they heard that.

“Fine,” Blueblood replied, “Just make sure they really suffer.”

That's when Blueblood almost fell to the ground, he started screaming, it seemed like he was in pain, “AHHHHH.”

“Blueblood,” Spike shouted worriedly.

But that was when the screams stopped, Blueblood stood up and when he looked at him, his eyes had changed, now his eyes became red and the white part became green.

“What happened to Blueblood?” Heathspike asked.

“We are no longer just Blueblood,” Blueblood spoke but it seemed like his voice sounded different, “We, are….. SOMBRA."
