The Changeling army nears Canterlot, the only thing standing between it, and the total collapse of Equestria is the Equestrian Royal Army. Octavia is one of the many ponies who have been drafted into the armed forces, she is part of a crew of 4 on an EF-36 medium tank.

Their mission was to serve as armored reconnaissance, for the 31st Canterlot Battalion division, with a secondary mission to harass enemy armor. All they have to do is take a quick peak at enemy lines and fire a couple of harassing shots, before retreating.
