Cause and consequence, the game we all must play. Her words haunt me, my sins even more. I set out to fix what is broken, on a future that may not exist. For those I left behind, and for those yet to come.

It happened so quickly; we barely had any time to react. One issue led to another, and before we knew it, Equestria found itself divided. My friends and I desperately searched for a solution, but the damage had already been made. Now, I face the hardest of choices. To leave behind everything I know in order to safeguard a future that may not exist. Twilight’s gone too far, and I fear for her and for her people. I can’t see any other way that won’t devastate us further. I pray for their forgiveness, and to see them once again. But my mind is made, my mission clear. I can only hope there will be something left worth saving.
