Sunset looked at the figure before her, who casually sat there as she herself didn’t move. I didn’t even notice her arrival, how long has she been there? She thought as she stood frozen over the dead body of the tomb she was robbing.

“Are you gonna say anything or should I speak first?” The f-Jokai, suddenly asked as they stood up. “Cause I’m fine with doing that.” The cloak then parted to reveal that they were holding a key, and their body which revealed they were a girl. What’s more was that instead of hands, she had metallic claws.

“...Who are you?” Sunset asked as Jokai tilted her head and scoffed.

“Keep up Sunset, I just told you I’m Jokai.” She said casually in her distorted voice as Sunset paled under her disguise.

“You know who I am?” She asked in fear as Jokai cackled and walked over to her.

“Of course I do, I know the identities of every one of your little super powered friends. And unfortunately for you, I am getting paid handsomely to tear each of you limb from limb .” She said as her voice got more and more distorted.

“Fluttershy, Rainbow, Rarity, Applejack, Twilight, Pinkie.” She said as she got right up in Sunsets face as the girl froze in pure fear, her breaths becoming harder and harder to take. All the while Jokai dragged her claws across her shoulder.

Sunset stayed still as lines of blood were drawn from her skin, though it was clear she could do much more damage if she wanted to. Gathering up all her strength of will she slapped Jokai, using her powers on her to trap her in a loop of her memories.

Jokai fell to the ground as Sunset let out a breath she didn’t even realize she was holding. She fell to the ground as she held her heart, which felt as if it were going to burst apart under the speeds it was going.

She tried to recollect herself before she heard clacking of metal on the floor. Her head shot to look at Jokai as she sat up, almost mechanically like a puppet being controlled by its strings. “Yeah that…” She said as her head rotated towards her.

“...Won’t work on me.”

Sunest looked in fear at Jokai as she stood up. “What are you?” She asked as she looked at her in terror while Jokai chuckled.

“Just an unimportant nobody.” She said as she stretched. “Who got an all expense paid trip here so I could collect the new recruits!” Sunset widened her eyes as she pulled out a glowing green key and dropped it downwards.

The girl watched as it sank into the floor of the museum and glowed green as it…turned, even though no one was touching. Jokai laughed as the floor of the museum glowed green as cracks spread out. “Let’s have some fun!!!”

Twilight watched from the control room as she widened her eyes. Oh no. She thought before she clicked on the intercom. “Guys, we have an-” She was cut off as the power went out, making all of the screens go blank.

To make matters worse, she was hearing something coming from the hallway outside.

Oh great.

“AJ darling please wait!” Rarity yelled as she tried to catch up with the farm girl who had walked ahead of her. “Applejack please listen!”

“Listen to what?” She asked, not even looking back at her. “How ya didn’t tell yer parents you were dating me? Already got that part.”

Rarity sputtered as she spoke up. “It’s more complicated than that! I’m sorry I wasn’t honest with you from the beginning but-”

“Oh, complicated? Well, from an honest point of view, I think you were embarrassed that you were dating a farm girl. Hence why you didn’t tell yer folks about me.” She said angrily as Rarity froze.

“Applejack… I am never going to be embarrassed by you.”

“...Then why haven’t ya told yer parents about me?” Rarity looked sad as she went to respond before green cracks started spreading throughout the building. “...Okay… we have bigger issues…”

“What is that?” Sunset asked as Jokai cackled. The masked girl looked up at her before she started speaking.

“Back in the 2nd war that was waged between Ponies, Dragons, and Griffins, soldiers of clay were brought to life in order to fight, made in images that were only limited by imagination.” Jokai said as Sunset paled.

“You know about Equestria?” Jokai nodded as she titled her head.

“Oh I know lots about Equestria. Including how you come from there.” Sunset widened her eyes. “Which is how I know that this key was paired with that heart that you so desperately came here to steal. The key here.” She gestured to the key in the floor.

“See, that was made to bring statues to life. But the heart was made because the drain on the person, or creature, who used it was too much to handle without help.” She then spread her hands out, her silver claws glinting in the green light.

“The best part was those statues only needed to be made of clay. The terms of how they were created were irrelevant! Meaning this entire museum! Just became !”

Fluttershy watched in terror as the statues around her started moving, causing her to whimper. Oh dear…

“MY ARMY!!!”

“What’s going on?!” Rarity asked as she made a shield around her and Applejack, watching as the statues started moving.

“Don’t know, just- MOVE!” Applejack covered Rarity as the shield was shattered, causing Rairty to scream as she blocked a fist from crushing them. Applejack screamed as the force hit her, never having felt this much power before.

Rarity grabbed her and they both shot out of the way as the fist crushed where they both just were. The floor cracked as they got a look at their assailant and they froze.

The statue they had been looking at earlier in the museum was now looking at them, all four of its arms primed and ready to crush them. “...That’s new…” Applejack said as it roared and walked towards them, its feet shaking the hallway.

“Get us out of here!” Applejack yelled as Rarity made a platform under them, lifting them up as they moved away.

A clay soldier pounded on the door as it tried to get in, having been ordered to attack the person in the camera room. It had no thoughts, other than the order it was given.

Meaning it didn’t react when the door was enveloped in a purple glow, and flew off of its hinges, crushing it.

Twilight walked out, holding the door with her telekinetic powers. “Okay… Night of the Museum rules…” She had watched a ton of movies with Spike since she didn’t have any friends. She looked at the green cracks spreading throughout the museum.

She needed to get to Sunset.

Fluttershy moved away as a tanuki jumped up at her, swinging its tail at her head in an attempt to hurt her. She was able to dodge it, only for it to hit the wall and shatter it.

And by ‘it’ it was in regards to the wall. She watched in fear as the stone wall was broken and cracked like glass.

In that fear, she morphed into a rabbit, her clothing becoming like an oversized cape as the clothes couldn’t change with her. The tanuki looked at her as it pounced after her, ringing out through the hall as it leapt after her like a predator chasing its prey.

Sunset was kicked into the display as Jokai cackled. “Oh this is just so much fun. You have no idea how long I’ve been waiting for this moment. Seeing you, here on the floor. In pain and agony!!!”

Sunset screamed as she was grabbed by the hood and slammed into the floor. “Poor little Sunset, writhing like the recth she is!”

“Ugh…What did I ever do to you…” She said as she groaned in pain, prompting Jokai to pause as she twitched her metallic claws.

“What did you do to me? What did you do to me? You can’t imagine what you did!” Jokai screamed as she kicked her in the stomach. “Every single one of you took everything from me!! You took my life!”

She raised her claws to slash down and kill Sunset, only for her to be engulfed in a purple glow. Jokai cackled as she was lifted into the air, even though it was detrimental to her, she didn’t stop laughing even as she was slammed into the wall, arms spread out as she was splayed onto the wall.

“Okay…Okay…” Twilight said as she looked at Jokai, her hands outstretched. “I…I just ran all the way here… I need to work out more… this sucks…” Sunset groaned as she leaned on the display as she stood herself up.

“...Yeah… you don’t talk to me about agony until you get brutally kicked in the stomach…” She said as Twilight turned to her, looking at her worriedly. “...Thanks for coming to save me…”

Twilight smiled, having thrown off her mask so that she would be able to breathe better. Before she could respond, Jokai cackled. “Oh you girls… always there for each other… You all have the best lives ever…. And none of you deserve a single aspect of it!!”

The purple glow engulfed her as she cackled, the glow turning green before it dissipated and was sucked into her chest. “Seriously?” Twilight asked as Jokai looked at both of them, cackling before she lunged at them both.

Only for Applejack to come in and sock her in the face, sending her flying and through the wall, leaving a humanoid shape, like a cartoon.

“Okay, I really hope that was the bad guy.” Applejack said as Sunset nodded. “Oh… Oh yeah that’s good…”

“Well… that was certainly an interesting experience but I digress…” Rarity said as she looked at the hole left by the psycho. “Can we please l…” She was cut off by Jokai crawling out of the hole, cackling with her eyes glowing green. “Oh dear.”

Jokai stretched as her eyes glowed, coating everything in a green light. “Hahaaaaa… I’ll be the better sport and admit that… as much as I want to end this… you guys are funny…” She said as she slashed at the wall, cutting it like butter. “But I will let you know this, enjoy the time you have left together. Cause I’m gonna take it all from you… Until then… BYE!!!!” She said as Fluttershy ran in.

“THEY’RE COMING!!!!” She screamed as statues ran in behind her, only for Jokai to hold out the key, causing all of the affected statues to freeze before they were sucked in like a vaccum gathering dust.

Everyone watched in shock as the statues all vanished, leaving Jokai to bow before she chuckled. “To da loo.” Then, in a flash of green, she vanished.

They all looked where she had just been, some of them falling to their knees. Fluttershy specifically looked in shock at all of them.

“...What the f-”

“....Oni Daimyo.” Rarity paused as she turned to Applejack as they walked down the airport. “That’s the name of the thing that had almost killed us.”

“Ah…Ah…Hey… thanks for saving me.” Rarity said as they got in line, an officer checking their bags.

“Course… we’re friends aren’t we…” Rarity hitched her breath as their bags were all searched. After they all got back into the hotel, the students were informed that the museum had been vandalized and robbed.

They weren’t suspects, but naturally all bags were being checked in case the thieves were fleeing by airplane, if they were that stupid. Rarity watched as all of her suitcases were each checked.

And nothing was found.

As all of her friends luggage was checked, nothing was found, no uniforms, no artifacts, no nothing.

“...Apple-”

“Please don’t.” The farm girl said as she moved away from Rarity. Leaving the fashionista alone with her luggage and baggage.

All alone.

Just like she had told her parents.

Once they were all back in America, they gathered at Sunsets place. “So… all of that, and we still don’t have the heart yet.” Twilight said as she looked at Fluttershy, causing the girl to shake her head.

When they went to ask what that was about, a bunch of birds swooped in through the open window. And they were all carrying everything related to them being heroes.

“Step four, Fluttershy gets her animal friends to carry all of the stuff without anyone even knowing we were related.” Sunset said as she held out her hand as a golden metallic, yet somehow bronze heart fell into her palm.

As this happened, Rainbow and Pinkie headed into the room, eyes looking at them in amazement. “We have the most incredible story to tell you guys! You’ll never believe what happened!”

All of them shared a look as they stared at them. “...” Only to speak out in unison.

“Try us.”

In a dark apartment, a computer was showing a call. "Jokai, we are expecting results."

"Oh... don't worry..." Jokai said as the mask was peeled off, revealing a face as a chuckle was called out. "They won't deal with you anymore." Flash Sentry said as he cut off the call, leaving him to look in the mirror. He reached out to it and carressed the reflection before he pulled his hand and shattered it, leaving him to laugh.

"HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!"
