After visiting the human world, Twilight becomes fascinated with the human technology of jetpacks. Thinking that this could be a great way for non winged creatures to achieve flight she recruits Sunset Shimmer and the two figure out how to achieve similar results with magic.

Unfortunately they didn't think about what would happen when they try to take the jetpacks off. When they find they are unable to the friends of Twilight Sparkle have to learn to adjust to their new lives with these bulky metal tanks sticking out of their backs.

In the end each separately find that they've grown rather attached to the new appendage and decide to keep them instead.
