-----------------------------------------------------------------CANTERLOT CASTLE------------------------------------------------------------------
It was now 7:00am in Canterlot, which meant it was almost 9:30am back in Belgium. It was a chaotic scene at Canterlot Castle, as they had just gotten word of the invasion of Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg by the Germans, which meant that France was next. That was not good. The Germans seemed to hellbent on taking Europe for themselves, and from the way that they had attacked the three countries, Celestia could tell that this had Discord all over it, going by how the attacks had sent the chaos, and the tactics they had used to begin their invasion of the three neutral countries.

The attacks had rapidly increased the death toll, which as of now, had passed 3.5 million, and was estimated to go past 5 million within a few days. That was how brutally the Germans had slaughtered the people of Europe. In fact, intel had come in from survivors that the Germans had somehow strengthened their soldiers enough that they could rip a human in half with their bare hands. That was horrifying.

There hadn't been any reports of them using chemical weapons since the opening days of the Denmark invasion, which meant that it was probably a myth, spread by Axis spies to scare the Allied countries. However, a lot of people were starting to feel the ponies were starting to lose morale in the war, considering how close to 150 pony soldiers had died on the frontlines since the last month, when the first three had been killed in battle. Since then, three had been found dead with similar damage to the bodies of Golden Harvest, Thunder Wing, Brisk Whistle, and Muscle Mystery, with the eyes removed.

However, apart from those three ponies, the bodies of all the other pony soldiers had been recovered quite quickly after their deaths, and nothing was unnatural about how they had died in battle. However, the public was starting to feel that the Equestrians could not fight as well as they once could. They needed to show the world what they could do, and for that, it was time to bring back a plan that had been on hiatus for a while now.

The military showcase. The plan had been put on hiatus for sometime due to the war, and the ENA along with the HNA leaking Discord's existence to the whole world. Now, it was time to put those plans back into action. It would now be hosted in Equestria itself, as the nation now had the facilities to host such a prestigious event. In fact, Celestia even planned to invite Winston Churchill and Franklin Roosevelt to the showcase as the chief guests of the event. They even planned to invite contingents from their military to show their abilities in Equestria.

As the Princesses began leaving Canterlot Castle for a quick visit to the city of Manehattan, to inaugurate the newly constructed Canadian embassy, they realised how much had changed in their country since Faust had transported them to Earth. The Royal Guards were no longer wearing their traditional armor, which had now been replaced by more modern and conventional military armor used by human militaries, just heavily modified for the Equestrian body. They also no longer carried weapons such as spears or arrows, and instead now carried guns. They did have their magic available to them, so that was also good.

The traditional city that Canterlot was had been heavily modernised, with asphalt roads, electric streetlights, and cars starting to be imported and sold by car companies in Equestria, and the buildings starting to have electricity supplies, piped water and sewage. A large industrial area had also come into being further from Canterlot, in the plains. Hard to believe how well the citizens of Equestria and the Crystal Empire had adapted to life on Earth.

An hour later, they were on their plane, as it was taxiing towards the runway, getting ready for the short three-hour flight to Manehattan. As the plane taxied out, the Princesses were talking with their advisors, who were also aboard, about what would happen during the showcase, its location, and how they would attract people from all over to come see this spectacle.

------------------------------------------------------------SOMEWHERE IN GERMANY-------------------------------------------------------------
It was now 10:30am in Germany, which meant it was 8:00am back in Equestria. Discord and his men were preparing for a large party that they were going to hold in a day or two, after they took France. They had decided that a break was needed after working for so many months nonstop, so they had decided to throw a true German party. Discord was going to be participating as the emcee, but he was also very happy about another plan, since the Enigma M3Es had finally rolled out, and were being dispatched to German military units everywhere.

Plus, the first Type VII U-boat had arrived in Hamburg for conversion to a Type VIIE, the first truly silent U-boat. It would be the ultimate military vessel once it was completed, just short of an aircraft carrier. There had been reports of spies trying to figure out what was going on at the U-boat facility in Hamburg, but Discord knew that once they were captured, they would not escape. The monster woman kept there, known as Vryolakas after a mythological creature, would finish off the spies once the information was extracted from them after their capture.

Discord smiled, thinking about how his new world order would be, as well as a backup plan for if the Princesses did figure out where he was and tried to defeat him. The Elements of Harmony weren't going to defeat him now, since his power had grown a bit since he had escaped his imprisonment after his arrival on Earth. Only the Destroyer of Discord would stop him, and its location had not been known since the last time Faust had defeated Discord. He didn't feel it was on Earth, since he hadn't heard any chatter about it, which was good, as that was the one thing that could defeat him, no matter how powerful Discord was.

As he directed the caterers for the buffet, which would be an important part of this party, he thought about what would happen if the Destroyer was on Earth. This was a situation that he had already prepared for, but he felt that there was only a 0.5% chance of that. As he told the caterers what food items to serve, he thought about this in the back of his mind, but he soon stopped thinking about it, as there was no chance that it was here on Earth.
