“You know better then this you bucking fool!”

The body of Red and the mare were being dragged to another room as Crusher frowns at the human disappearance but then focused on the hooded mare. He snorts limping to a stone slab to sit as he frowns at the two.

“You never said that I would have a bounty on my head still!” He said pointing a hood at the two. The one taller stallion in the hood looks at Crusher with a blank expression as the mare trots up showing her red eyes.

“Our leader did not want the humans involved yet! And now that the devil is here we have not choice to kill him!” The mare snapped back as Crusher looks away before cringing at the dead bodies of other ponies.

Crusher snorts as he looks back at the two “well things happen, now that he is dealt with, I’ll rest up and return to my-“ he was cut as the mare stomps her hooves loud making him stop as he noticed a small smile begin to form on her muzzle. She then turns to look at the small drop and then at the bigger stallion.

“Crusher… your work has gotten the princess attention… and we can’t let them know on what you’ve done, so…” she stops at Crusher was then picked up by the bigger one as he trot over to them

“Hey! Let. Me. Go!” He said trying to break free from the grip. He then looks at the hole with shocked as he then sees the mare grin more now.

“Now now… you’ve done well… or bucking nothing! Tell me why I should not let you fall?” She said glaring at the blue stallion as he tries to keep balance “50 ponies… I can get you 50 ponies at the end of the month!” He exclaimed as he shows a bit of pleading in his eyes. The mare looks at him and then smiles as she nods at the stallion for him to be dropped.

“No no! Wait I-“ he stops feeling the ground as he looks where he stands and takes a breath. The two hooded individuals trot away as they then look back at Crusher “50 ponies… one month… leave” she says before turning around the corner.

“Buck… I’m done for…” Crusher said as he soon sprints out of the main room to the entrance.

A few minutes later…

“Oh buck were totally food! We’re done for!” The mare said trying to find something to do, Red rolls his eyes feeling rather lifeless. His weapons are gone and he has not gun belt… he can feel a bit naked without having a gun on his hips. The mare stops to look at him as she then frowns “well? Aren’t you going to do something Devil?” She said making Red frown more.

“Don’t call me that.” He stated as he soon lays back on the cage walls, the mare rolls her eyes as she then goes to the door before intensely stepping back making Red to see their jailers. Red soon lean up adjusting his hat as the hooded pony looks at him. He can’t see the face but he can sense the glair form their eyes.

“Sleep well?” The male voice said to them. Red does nothing as the mare groans getting his attention “I’m am not with him so can I be freed please?” She said looking at him sticking a tongue out at him, he does nothing but rolls his eye “fucking child” he muttered

“The buck you say!” She said stomping over to him as he glairs at the mare. She lifts a hoof up and slaps Red across the face, but he takes it. She goes for it again, and he takes it. Each and every slap he gets does nothing… his nose is bleeding a bit but he doesn’t care… and once it started to fall down his face the mare stops and steps back feeling the fear as Harlow then stands up at full height.

“You think hitting me will keep me down? I’ve been through hell and back, just to get my own needs… so… are you doing?” He said making the mare sit down shaking as he then looks at the hooded stallion

“I’ll get out of here… just you wait” he said

Red usually never talks a lot to his enemies but after knowing that his family gun is not one him makes him pissed off. He then sits back down in the wall of the cage as the mare then looks at him with a raised brow. He pay no mind to it as the hooded stallion soon leaves.

“Rubyway…” the mare said

“What?” Red says looking at the mare, she looks at him as she give an odd look of focused on him “that’s my name… Rubyway” she says looking down now. Red then frowns a bit as he then looks out the cage seeing no pony past by yet, he can’t escape yet, he need his weapons!

He looks at Rubyway soon lay down and begins to cry lightly, he sees her soon try and sleep but tears still falling, he looks at her and then… no, he puts his hand on his hat to cover his eyes…

“Red Harlow” he said making Rubyway look back at him, he soon can tell that she is smiling a bit as she then lays back down a bit, he thinks for a good moment his thoughts fighting for control!

‘Take her with you! Sure she was bad but doesn’t mean that you can’t say no!’ The left side of his head says

‘And say “oh hey thanks for helping now let me kill you!” That ridiculous!’ The other side snaps back, Red frowns some more as he tries to sleep on the right thought… the arguments were soon loud and he frowns keeping his eyes closed as they argue some more and more until… it stopped… Red finds himself with that mare Rubyway next to his leg now… he can see the bullet wound on her leg that now has dried blood on her leg… he can’t think in this she was with that crook and makes her a-

Wait… that’s it, she knows Crusher, she know something’s about him and if she would comply, Red would save lives… but he will need help… he gets it now.

He lifts his hat up again and cleared his throat making Rubyway look at him again “I’ll let you live if you help me stop Burster” he said

“What, wait you mean…” she stops as Red nods slowly before Rubyway soon tears up and hugs him hearing her apology for what she did before sobbing… he does nothing but sits… he can feel his head light now as he looks away… he thought hard on this but it’s the best plan to work with… and hopefully the two others wouldn’t mind helping him.

“Now… first off, don’t hug me” he said bluntly making the mare giggle lightly punching his shoulder. He soon stands up again as he then looks at the door, he then noticed a loose hinge but on a side where he might be able to reach…

“I see a hinge… I’m going to get it and then you kick the door” he said

“Okay and then what? Run to the exit? I don’t know this place” she said making him look around the area again… it’s dark and guessing there in a cave of some kind maybe an old mine… Red then thinks of his next idea

“No… I need my weapons, can’t fight without them” he explained looking around, he cat really see but it looks to be a table is a bit ways away. He then rubs his cloth hand scratching an itch, he then thinks on how to do this, once they’re out they will be hunting for, So he needs plan.

Rubyway nods and looks around before looking around the cage but then stops to see some kind of armory.

“I see an armory a bit ways away, maybe your stuff is there” she said he nods, he then rubs his head and then soon reaches for the hinges, the first hinge was easy but the second one is a bit of a struggle. He lifts the door up a bit and see the hinge shift a little.

“Hold the door up” he grunted

Now quickly changing spots Red soon tries turning the hinge witch was working, he then pulls it off and sees Ruby struggle to hold the door now, Red grabs the door and the two slowly places it on the wall. Freedoms at last the two slowly walk to the armory hoping the find what he is looking for.

There! His stuff all sit in a chest surrounded by blue prints of some kinds. His rifle looked to have been tampered a bit but still has the trigger and bullets to shoot. Then his revolver was still in his gun belt but has bullets scattered around.

“What were they doing?” Ruby asked looking down at the papers… there trying to make his guns for ponies… it’s a ruff sketch but it’s easy to tell that they’re trying to make his weapons. He grabs all of the blueprints and reattached his belt feeling whole again. Red looks back at the mare who pulls a cross bow out and bolts. She smiles at them putting her quiver her rump as holds the crossbow in her back as she then trots over to Red

“Okay I’m set, let’s get the buck out of here!” She said and Red nods smiling lightly as they soon walk out. Ponies in hooded robes all making the two quickly hide behind the door as they trot by. After they pats they knew that they had to live now. So Red and Ruby slowly walk through the cave and hope that no one would find them…

“There gone! Find them!” A mare shouts making the two move faster now. The loud scatter of hooves make the two soon stop from walking to now sprinting, they look around the maze and soon find dead bodies of ponies of all kind and then find the exit then after.

As they run to the desert more and more he can soon hear someone shout at them, they don’t listen and keep running and not looking back… Red may have not caught Crusher, but they definitely had some information on what is happening and who these ponies are… they planning for war… for something.

As they believe the cost is clear both Ruby and Red pant lightly as they stop in the dirt “we… did it… I feel beat” Ruby said, Red says nothing as he soon gets on a knees placing a hand on his chest taking a deep breath.

“Agreed… now… I can remember the road… to Canterlot… but… remember the deal”

Red Harlow has escaped with a new friend? Rubyway must now be pulled into this Cowboys business, he will return to canterlot, but what happens next?

Hey sorry if this feels a bit rushed… I kinda had more of a plan with my first OC and have some time working with her, the next chapter will be with Red and Ruby.
