Red dead redemption: the Legends

Two days later…

“I’m telling you the wonder bolts are insane! You would love them Arthur!” Rainbow beams as Arthur scratches behind his head. He doesn’t like to do much other than shoot to kill or steal. So he just nods and tries to understand about these wonder bolts.

John on the other hand was talking to Rarity about having something to do about future clothing, he hates about how people would spent lots of money just to get a bunch of clothes ‘it’s a waste alright’ he thinks. But Rarity has been learning that humans do need heavy coats for when the cold is coming so more plans would be competing for both cowboys for now, but these two are here for one reason, meeting the ruler of the land, they hate royalty but know how to show respect for one… and Celestia is a interesting pony to know about.

Hired Red Harlow to be a bounty hunter and shit, she might do the same to Arthur and John.

“Well thanks for telling me this darling! Now I can picture two brave souls in the cold winter air!” She says before giggling, John sighed but was then bumped by Twilight “hey, thanks for keeping you and Arthur cool about this, I know how much you hate Royalty” Twilight says pulling out a note.

“Celestia might be a bit forward on some things, but she did mention not only once but twice about… this important task” she said reading the note carefully. Arthur then groans as he walks up to John tired as all hell.

“I could go for a drink…”

“No”

Arthur soon adjusted his hat and shirt as they approached the front gate of the castle, the ponies all around acted a lot different then Ponyville… instead of the panic and welcome like tone, they were greeted with disgust. And the last stallion made Arthur wanna shoot him for calling him a monkey.

“So Arthur?” Twilight started

“How have you been so far?” She asked before then regretting as he groans again and waves his hand up “these shit heads make me wanna start having the law on me!” He shouts not caring as he pasted a guard. Twilight rolls her eyes as Rainbow jabs his shoulder and laughing, his rebellious is strong and powerful.

“But… I’ll be the “good boy” and not start making shit blow up” he said making Twilight frown, Applejack then trots next to Arthur “well sugarcube, I promise to give you some cider after this, drinks are on me” she said as Arthur laughed while John groans this time.

“You know? You can easily make that man be happy by taking alcohol” he deadpanned to the farm mare as she giggled. But soon stops as the group reach to the front doors. A guard nods at the group before opening them in and soon escorted. Celestia sits down as she eyes the two human walk in, offering a smile she nods at Twilight as they stop at the bottom of the stairs.

“It’s so nice to finally met you Mr Morgan and Marston” she greeted as the two look at each other then feel there leg get bumped as Twilight nods for them to bow, they shrugged and stare up at the princess “Harlow had said somethings about ya” Arthur admitted as Twilight groans.

“Oh?” Celestia said getting up from her chair and slowly trots down to the cowboys “and he had told me about you as well” she said keeping her warm smile.

“I guessing you’re wanting to know about us?” John asked, Celestia nods at them both I have heard from my student has welcomed you both?” She asked

“Yep.” Arthur blurts with John nodding along as well. The princess trots up keeping her smile on her face, and not to much later Harlow and a red mare walk in as well making Celestia smile fade a little. Red nods at the two humans as the red mare has a shocked expression.

“So my dear student” Celestia said turning to the purple unicorn “you wonder why I bring you here?” She asked. Twilight shakes her head before then eyeing both Arthur and John “Mr Morgan and Mr Marston?” She asked. Celestia nods and stands tall to eye the humans.

“Your both here for as if a request from Mr Harlow” she said making Twilight blink and leaves her mouth open to say something. The two cowboys look at each other and then at Red as he walks up standing next to the princess.

“We got a problem” Red said, the red mare then trots up and chuckled a bit nervous “I- I’m Rubyway” Rubyway greeted. Arthur looks down at the pony and then at Red “uh… what’s the problem?” He asked

“So… a group of ponies are stealing other ponies for… rituals?” John said as both him and Arthur were escorted down the halls with the princess in the front and the main 6 in the back talking to Rubyway.

“Yes, the bastards are on to something, and the princess is having me form a posse to take it down” Red said making John and Arthur look at each other “and here I though we were gonna have the peace” Arthur said, John does nothing but looks down at the ground, Red turns around stopping the two and give them a stern look.

“It gets worst from that Arthur, these guys are trying to copy our weapons” he said, Arthur shrugged and then laughed lightly “well I’d say that there dumb, it’s not so simply by just looking” Arthur said placing a hand on his belt.

“now much did they put down? And can they even fire our guns? Cus their hooves are a bit… fingerless” he said.

John just groans at that while Red rolled his eyes, Arthur can be a light on thinking, but once he gets the problem, he can get the job done. The three soon catch back up with the ponies as they were talking about the tragedy that Red was after, Rubyway was “kind” enough to share information on the last known whereabouts of a base, full of merc and bounty hunters of all kind. This gets the attention of Arthur and John when they hear lots of money. They may retire of being bandits but money is money. Celestia sees it and clears her throat.

“And thus bring me to my last briefing of the meeting, Mr Morgan and Mr Marston” she said Turing her body to the humans, the 7 ponies all step aside as the princess walks up and pulls out two silver rings.

“I know that you both have had just gotten used to our world. But I need you both, our world is not as save as it used to be, and Red can’t just be the only one to carry the kingdoms on his shoulder, like me and my sister” she said handing them the rings. They eye it and noticed that it’s indeed looks like Red’s.

“What are theses rings, princess?” John asked as he eyed the engravings in it, Celestia looks over to Red and sighed. “It’s a magical rings that grants access to communicate with me or other same ring user, it’s alway your way of showing that your my bounty hunters” she explained. Arthur eyes it and sighed ‘I should have expected this…’ he thinks before he looks at John and then the group.

“Can we have a moment with Red?” Arthur asked, Celestia looks at her student and then Red and nods slowly and walk away from the three humans. Red walks over to them and leans on the wall “nervous?” He asked, Arthur snorts and shakes his head

“Hell nah! It’s just… I don’t know about this” he admitted, he died once and doesn’t want to lose it again, John is not looking to die again. He seeks to return to his family, Red gets it and looks down at the floor.

“Arthur? Should we do this? I mean we’re alive again… and we still don’t have a slightest idea of how we are” John said

Arthur just groans a bit and eyes the ring still “being her hunter is one thing, but going into a whole plan on killing ponies? Charles would be pissed if he was here” Arthur said, Red gets off the wall getting the two attention as he puts his cloth hand on his belt “I understand that part, and I wasn’t easy on killing one… but there are just like us… some can be just as bad as a human, like these bastards, they can be even more evil then a human” Red explained

John and Arthur then eye the ring one last time and then think on the first day of meeting the ponies, they welcomed them, fed them, even gave them a place to sleep. These ponies are like humans in both good and bad… but the good is too good to be a human, it’s different. John thinks about Twilight who had been the one hearing most of his stories, the question of living and moving on. Arthur thinks of Applejack, she is like a fellow cowboy that a man would share a drink with, her family is just a heavy reminder of Dutch in a way, it’s like the peaceful land had been found… Arthur and John then grip the ring and nod to each other.

“Okay. We will fight, for our new home” Arthur said before he puts the ring on his finger, John adjust his coat before putting the ring on “for the family” he said nodding to Arthur, Red smirks and nods respectfully at the two as they all walk close to each other back towards the ponies. But once they show up to the princess they tip there hats at her “we’ll be your hunters” Both Arthur and John said. Celestia smiles and lifts her head up high and charges her magic.

“Arthur Morgan and John Marston. Welcome my bounty hunter to Canterlot castle, we have a plan to stop these cultists”

The three humans are reunited! And Arthur and John are now the rulers new bounty hunters! What happened next with the cult? Will the humans have a plan to stop them? Find out next time on Red dead Redemption the legends!
