Red dead redemption: the Legends

The humans take a breath as the trail continues on as they make way to a farm, Twilight looks back at the two before chuckling lightly. The humans both sigh as they get up and walk to the top where Twilight stands waiting.

“Boy you both sure tired” she said

Arthur gasped before he clears his throat “it’s been almost a couple hours, I could go for a drink” he said

“No” John said as he adjusted his hat, Soon all of them get over the hill and more on the path as they see not to far, a farm with a huge valley full of trees.

Sweet Apple Acres

As the group arrived a small filly is seen out front playing with two other fillies before noticing them, one soon shouts out “hey Sis the humans are here!” She says before they leave as an orange pony trots out to greet them.

“Well howdy partners!” She said as she stops in front of them before offering a hoof “names AppleJack! Nice to meet ya!” She said to Arthur who shakes the hood nice and strong. Applejack chuckled before doing to same to John.

“Twilight has said something about ya two, that y’all both are from an another world! Well howdy! She wasn’t kidding” she said

“Well nice to know that there some people out their who are from the west” Arthur said

“Well of course! Good ways away a town is called appleloosa full of the type of people you would know” Applejack said adjusting her hat.

“What there?” John asked

“Oh you know, outlaws, bounties, and taverns” she explained

Arthur would then poke John’s arm “sound like our kinda place to be at” he said

Twilight soon steps in and clears her throat before looking at Applejack “now Aj what so important for our human friends should know?” She asked

“Important? Oh right! Listen up cowboys! Welcome to Sweet Apple Acres! Home to my famous Apple cider!” She said

“This whole farm is made for beer?” Arthur said, Applejack smiles at Arthur enthusiasm before she trots, taking the lead. She shows them her house and then the farm and what the job is and what they do.

“Now we’re Apple farmer, we sell Apple for the living, but we also make Apple for the cider for more living” she said before trotting over to a tree. She looks over to the humans as they watch closely “now us earth ponies have a bit more strength then a unicorn or pegasus so we can do this!” She says before lifting a hind leg up and buck the tree shaking all the Apple off all in a bucket.

“But then after we finishing a bucket we bring them over to the wagon for selling for the market or making cider” she said putting the bucket up in the wagon where a big red pony sits before then trotting away from the group.

“Now we allow anypony to work and help harvest, we pay well is you work the hours” she said

“But how the hell do we hit the tree? I’d rather not brake my hand!” Arthur said

Applejack nods at that before trotting over to the barn, before she holds two big mallets on her back as she trots over to the humans “you uses these mallets, their heavy enough to buck the tree, but try not to brake them” she said handing them over to the humans.

“Well now, how about we see what your strength really is” she said. Both the cowboy’s eyes widen at the moment before looking over to the ponies

“What?” John said

“Wait a minute” Arthur says

“Now now I got your bits right here” Applejack said holding a bag shaking it lightly hearing the coins rattle.

“Who ever can fill all three bucket will get these bits, and for the other is the opposite” she said

“Oh… fine” Arthur said

“Whatever” John said holding the mallet correctly, Arthur adjust his grip before looking at the trees sit still showing its beauty of handful of apples looking at the mallets they take a huge breath picking them up and slowly try to get a good handle on them.

It’s heavy, but good enough for them to lift it up to their guts before bringing the mallets up high and soon swingers it, slamming against the trees, and soon apple slowly fall onto the bin. Arthur looks at John and he looks back before Applejack shouts out “and go!” And soon slowly they hit their trees and begin too hit the tree with right strength as more apples fall down.

Couple hours later…

John sighed as he slumps on the wagon clearly exhausted from the unexpected work they have accomplished. Arthur kicks some dirt due to losing the game, but soon he laughs along with John and the others “you did good this time Marston but next time, I’m gonna get back at you” Arthur said

Applejack soon hands John the bag of money and smiles warmly “now one of you can come here to help buck trees or other chores around the farm and I promise I’ll pay both of you well” she said nodding at the two cowboys.

later the front door opens showing a older green and grey mare trots out and calls out “Applejack! Come inside for some pie, I got some for your friends too” she said before going back inside. She nods at the group for them to follow along side with the three filly’s as there sits a huge apple pie fresh out of the oven, sitting in the middle with some plates on the table.

“Yeah apple pie is the best!” Apple bloom said as she bites on the pie slice before gasping due to the pie still hot making Applejack frown

“Easy Apple bloom! Don’t wanna have you burnt your mouth again” she said before she hands Arthur a plate, he nods before he pulls his knife out to cut a slice before saying “thanks Jackie” making the mare lower a brow hearing the nickname.

“What that you said?” She blurts out and Arthur sighed before placing the pie down and looks over the mare “sorry kinda a bad habit of mine” he said as the mare lowers her hat looking away before muttering “t-that’s all good Sugarcube” she said before taking a bite of the pie as Apple bloom cheers.

John looks at this yellow kid making him think on someone, someone who is missing him along side his wife. Twilight sees him and pats his shoulder making him look over at her as she muttered “are you okay?” And he nods lightly before thinking on something again as he sees Arthur chat with a big red pony and Applejack.

Arthur, the man who saved him time and time again, his brother alive! He note that he hasn’t been thinking much about how he and Arthur were still here. His thoughts were interrupted by Apple bloom tug on his leg making him look down see… Jack? No no, he sees the pony and he looks away before feeling something, making him stand up and walks out the door. Arthur sees it and looks over at Twilight and then Applejack frowns a bit too.

“What’s up with him?” She asked

“I don’t know” Twilight says, she was gonna get up but Arthur stops her as he adjust his hat knowing what John is doing, he looks back at the group “give him a moment, I’ll talk to him” he says before looking back outside as John sits on the deck thinking of an old memory.

“Watch out, it’s a bit steep here” Dutch said looking back at the wagon full of supplies, a man with white shirt and brown pants wearing his iconic bear pelt hat as he adjust the rope.

“The other are still up ahead Dutch” Mac said looking over at Abigail and Arthur. Dutch nods to himself as he looks forward before he then hears something behind him fall making him look back.

“What’s going on back there?” He asked

“God damn it, a tree fell!” Arthur said calming the young Jack down as Abigail tries to find a way to get across the tree. Dutch soon hops off his horse and walks over to look on the other side seeing John, Arthur and Jack all stand there on their horses.

“You three good?” He asked

“Yeah, but the way is blocked!” Arthur shouts back, John sighed looking away as Dutch rubs his chin before he snaps his fingers “you three find a way to the camp while the rest of us get there” he said

“Alright then” John said as Jack whimpered as Abigail sees him “don’t you worry baby, momma will be okay” she said before looking at Arthur and John before giving a serious look “you too keep my baby safe” she said

“Always” Arthur said and John says nothing as he looks away rolling his eyes “John!” Abigail warned as the man looks at her as she glairs at him “ok ok fine” he said as she gets back on the wagon as Mac follows Dutch leaving both of them as they have the horses trot up the hill.

Jack is about 2 years old so his speech is not the best so he does simple babbling for a baby, John sighed as Arthur laughed seeing the kid.

“Dada?” He said looking at Arthur

“No no, I’m not you dad” he said looking at John being all quiet as ever. Arthur then looks back at the boy before he brakes the quiet “Marston… what’s up you?” He asked

“Nothing just been thinking” he said

His thoughts were cut out as Arthur looks at the man as he was given a moment to himself, Arthur pats his shoulder as he looks at the trees.

“What’s on your mind?” He asked

“That kid, remind so much of Jack” John said standing up sighing lightly as he looked at Arthur.

“I don’t know what those two are doing without me there to help them” he said just tumbling on how they found him or he believed. He can make up a feeling that he felt, like he was dead but knew that both of them were there staring at his dead body and felt them sad. John sighed yet again, He then looks away from Arthur pondered a question about how he got here.

“Arthur how did we get here?” John said

Are there was about to say something but stops hearing the question, he rubs his chin, thinking on it, but had no idea, he shrugs, lifting both his arms up, trying to think of something “just luck I guess” he blurts out, and John this time deadpans as he look back.

Arthur soon bypass is the question and he places his hand back on John’s shoulder, trying to comfort him. Arthur then gives him a serious look “now partner, I don’t know or why we’re here, but you should know that they are okay” he said

“But how do you know? You’ve been dead for years” John says and Arthur then opens his journal showing it to the man.

“I know that he is fine” he said and John sighed before he nods just fearing for them, he can’t be the guide anymore now. It’s up to Jack and Abigail now.

Soon then Applejack and Twilight trot out smiling warmly as they see both the humans, John looks at Twilight and nods smiling lightly before the yellow filly pops her head out.

“I’m sorry if I hurt your feelings mister” she said

“No it’s all good kid” John said before nodding at Applejack, and then thanks her for the treat and the job also the money too. Arthur tops his hat as Applejack does the same as both the cowboys and Twilight begin there tour once again ready to finish it.

“He will be fine” Arthur said and John nods again this time more happy as him and Arthur nod at each other not noticing Twilight Write some more things down on her book as they follow the trail back to Ponyville but then a path back to the forest once more.

The tour is close to being done, but what comes next? What will happen meeting this Fluttershy? And what will the princess think of these two cowboys? Stay turned to hear more with Red Harlow on Red dead redemption the legends!
