“I gotta say, you two sure have seen lots of things haven’t you?” Twilight said as they continued on the path, the day had been great! Meeting all these ponies, helping them understanding this world more and more, Arthur laughed a bit before he scratched his head as him and John stop for a second to catch their breath.

“Well me and Arthur have known each other since we were kids, so we’ve seen some crazy stuff” John explained before taking a huge thing of air feeing his chest burn slowly. Twilight lowers a brow and looks over to Arthur as he rests on the tree waves his hat as a fan.

“By the end of the day I’m gonna be soar” he said and Twilight giggled before she takes the lead of the pack. “So you too are like brothers?” She asked

“You can say it like that, brother in arms” Arthur said and John nods as they soon follow the pony to the cottage owned by the shy pony Fluttershy.

As they walk Arthur notices a good amount of animals were around the place ‘guess she wasn’t kidding about this pony being an animal caretaker’ he thought before they stop seeing the shy pony feed her animals.

“Fluttershy!” Twilight greets making her look over and smile warmly as she flies over for a hug. She lets the hug go as she sees the cowboys and soon hides her face behind her mane.

“Well howdy!” Arthur said putting a hand on his knee as he lower his body to eye level for the pony “um… hello” she greets before she shows her face more out of her mane as she looks up at the two.

“So your here to know about the creature of the everfree forest?” She said and the two soon nod as they lean on the wall. She explained that this forest holds some special creatures of all legends…

The three never heard of one but the John had to mention a creature that eats babies, Arthur give him a quizzical look as he had to hear this story later.

“So how did you two show up to Equestria?” She asked

John and Arthur both said in word at the same time making both of the mares shocked “died” they both said as Arthur scratched the back of his head and looks out the window… and he sees it again… the deer tall and motionless as it stairs directly at him in the eyes.

“Arthur?” Twilight said making him snap back to reality as he adjusted his hat as he explained how he was in the past, but never wanted to harm innocent. John explained that he was freed but was then was trapped and killed. Twilight writes some more notes down as she hears more until they explain on how they met agin after years.

“So you were in the forest? And found each other along the way?” Twilight said and the two nod before Arthur looks out the window again hoping to see the deer again… but no.

“Damn it” he muttered getting John’s attention “what?” He said making Arthur look back at him “I uh saw something during the day… and yesterday as well” he admits making Twilight look at the him as he adjusted his hat again.

“I guess I should explain… what I’ve seen…” he sighed as he soon stands up pulling his satchel as he pulls his old journal as he looks through the pages until stopping to see the grave

“Guess we’re just about done, my friend.
It’s been quite a journey.”

He smiles lightly seeing the picture before he then turns a couple more pages to find a page with the deer on it, turning it to show the whole group.

“I remember seeing that… you didn’t say anything at all… just that drawling” John said as he stairs at the photo. Arthur soon looks at it and then he sighed again as he puts the journal down to Twilight and Fluttershy to see.

“It’s a deer?” Twilight said coking an eyebrow up at the man as Fluttershy looks at it closely “you saw this?” She asked

“Yeah… for a long time… I saw it when I got sick… and it’s been following me everywhere… like it’s telling me something” he said remembering his death approaching him.

“What did happen to me after I died John?” Arthur asked

“Well after that, me and Abigail left the country before returning later to find out Charles built your grave on a spot you told him” he said as Arthur soon remembered Charles “I wish I thank him… and hope he doing alright” Arthur said

“Oh my” Fluttershy says getting the others attention as she lifts the photo up again “this deer is different then any I’ve ever seen!” She said making the group look down at it then her again

“But it looks like an average deer” Twilight said inspecting the page as Fluttershy flies up to Arthur “Mr. Morgan… you have a spirt animal guiding you… it’s like their giving you a second chance in life” Fluttershy said as the man looks away again.

“I guess so…” he said

‘My second chance? Huh well she ain’t kidding! I should be dead… maybe this deer saw my actions… and want me to be that person on this chance’ Arthur thinks as he puts the journal away.

“I guess you’re right… and I don’t think of wasting it…” he said as a grin slowly spread on his face. John looks away and smiles warmly but then faded thinking about his wife and son. No. There okay! Jack is strong and smart, he would do anything to pay back on Ross and his wife will be safe with Jack keeping everyone safe. He will, no he believes that Jack will survive!

“I guess I have my time here as well” John said as Fluttershy soon smiles up at the two and then trots to the door leading them to the animals all outside now.

“Now Ponyville is close the forest, and so many creatures live here, if you would see a rouge animal you let me know and I’ll deal with it, but if it’s worse then help the townsfolk” Fluttershy said as the humans nod seeing all the animals. Bunnies, Bear, lama, all kinds were around showing off her specialty.

“I know the feeling, use to have a dog long time ago… he died” Arthur said before John slaps the back of his head as to not try and upset the shy pony.

“But… if you think you can handle the animals, just bring them here and I’ll take care of the rest” she said smiling brightly as the two nod. She then looks over to her animals and whispers to them and soon make there way over to the two.

“Uh Mis Shy, what is happening?” John said as a few birds land on his hat and some bunnies on his shoes. Arthur was greeted by a bear who was nuzzling his arms ‘oh shit shit shit!’ He was frozen in place as the bear stopped nuzzling but then stops as it leaves the two along with the other animals.

“I… don’t like bears” Arthur grumbled as John tried to hold his laughing along with the others, but soon he joins in with the laughing… the two cowboys have lots to learn about this world… but it doesn’t mean that they can’t say no to living here right? Who knows.

Arthur and John were soon guided back to Ponyville with Twilight, the sun is now setting as they returned. They were greet with the pink pony with a lot of the townsfolk all giving them a party.

“Welcome to Ponyville Mr Morgan and Marston!”

*pop*

“Oh it’s from the princess, ahem!”

I have received all of your letters and notes from you and studied them enough to understand that these human are indeed worthy of living In Equestria.

If you can please, I would like to have a word with both of them in canterlot by next week, my bounty hunter Red Harlow will be back by then hopefully, I have some important business that would require all three of the cowboys, also thank you for taking the towns time to give these humans a warm welcome.
