After being forced to do stand up because none of his friends and marefriend wanted to, they forced Spike on the stage. Spike has a huge stage fright phobia. Sure, he did the Hearths Warming Eve play script but that was easier because it was planned. And he wasn't being made fun of by the town for it. He decides to leave the town and make new friends, leaving Starlight in the process.

(I'm not a huge shipper of Spike and Starlight, I ship Trixie and Starlight. I just want this story to be as sad as possible and what better way to make it sad than your partner leaving you? Comments are shut off because of rude and negative comments to each other. I don't tolerate that behavior nor do I tolerate negative likes because of that drama going on the the comments.
