Pinkie Pie's sole wish in life was to spread joy and happiness. Conscription into the Imperial Lunar Army may have stymied this wish, had Pinkie not dug up an accordion out of nowhere. Life was great after that! Performing before crowds of soldiers, throwing parties at camp, and lifting the spirits of Equestria's troops up and down the Empire!

She's making ponies happy! It can't be more complicated than that, right?
