Canterlot Castle

Everypony was in a state of panic, the griffon princess was nowhere to be found. Celestia was completely lost on how the young hen had gotten through her barrier but that didn’t matter now. Silverfeather was gone and more than likely found Anubis.

A part of Celestia was jealous but the other part was concerned about her safety, then there was the fact that she’d have a lot of explaining to do. Silver’s parents were coming over for hearth’s warming, although the griffons celebrated a different holiday to her ponies. They were both about coming together and spending time with loved ones.

She had ordered an inspection of the room and nothing had been found, not a weak point in the barrier or a tunnel through the wall. The only things disturbed was the furniture. Celestia had also set out a search party for the griffon princess but after 3 hours of nonstop searching they came back with a letter from the Stallions.

Which said that Anubis went missing on the first day of estrus week, they believed that he flew back to the castle but that wasn’t the case.

Celestia slammed her hoof on the marble ground at the foot of her throne, the situation had become worse. Now there was a griffon royal and Celestia’s beloved that had gone missing, not to mention that nopony had any ideas about the whereabouts of them.

Meanwhile back at Anubis’s Evergreen mansion.

He was working on making the building harder to find, he’d been researching high level cloaking spells.

It was a good thing that Celestia had given him access to the royal library, he had spent hours making copies of all the books and it had been worth it.

Silverfeather had reacted well to the estrus suppressant but Anubis decided to keep her in the containment habitat for now, he didn’t want to risk it.

“Sigh* that should do the trick…. I need food.”

“Don’t worry my king, I’ll make you something tasty.” Soft ran off into the mansion, Anubis shook his head and followed her in.

“I should really make breakfast for everygriffon.” Upon entering the kitchen he found Soft had a bunch of ingredients on the counter, she had a lost expression on her face. “Soft let me show you how to cook breakfast, first of all you don’t need half the things here.”

He then proceeded to put away all the things that weren’t needed, then he started by putting bacon and sausages in the oven. Followed by a tray of hash browns, then grabbing a pan and pot. Anubis dumped a tin of beans in the pot with butter, then he cracked six eggs into the larger pan with some oil and stuck some toast on before popping the kettle on.

Soft Claws just watched in amazement and she even began to salivate at the delicious aroma coming from the oven. The scent of breakfast began to fill every corner of the house, even the laboratory down under.

After dicing up breakfast, Anubis sat down and sipped his cup of tea. Soft was still in her own little world of delicious food but she was snapped out of it. “Hey Soft could you go upstairs and grab my cub from my room.”

“What?”

“Yeah she’s in my bed sleeping, just pick her up and bring her down here please. I’m going to give our guest her food and maybe let her out.”

“Uh of course my lord, I’ll do it right away.”

Anubis took a plate of food and disappeared whilst Soft went upstairs, she walked up to the door at the end of the hall and began to pace.

‘Why does my lord have a cub in his sleeping quarters? Maybe she’s got no family or was abandoned by them?’

“Just go in and get her, Soft. Those are my orders.” She twisted the door knob and pulled it open, when she entered the room that was as dark as a cold winter night.

Then her gaze fell upon a small balled up cub on the bed, she was an adorable shade of peach and pink with blue tipped ears. She pocked the little one a few times but no response, so she quickly picked her up and pressed her against her ears.

Berbump* Berbump* Berbump*

“Oh thank goodness, guess you’re just a heavy sleeper you little cutie…. Sniff* Sniff* oh my gosh! The king has a daughter! Eeeeeeeeeeh.”

She cradled the cub and flew out the room and down the stairs, when she got to the dining room she sat down and waited with the cub for Anubis to return.

When he came into the dining room, he went unnoticed by Soft. She was giggling at the cub she held in her forelegs, the little one was running in her sleep kicking Soft’s chest as she did.

“So I see you’ve taken a liking to her.”

“My king! You startled me…. Well she’s lovely, I didn’t know you had a cub of your own. What’s the little princess’s name?”

“….”

“My lord, you have named her haven’t you?” Soft’s tone wasn’t soft by any means and Anubis scratched the back of his head.

“Well I’ve been really busy and…. Sigh* I don’t want to name her…. Yet.”

“Why?”

“B-because I don’t know what to call her.”

“So ask your mate, the griffon princess.”

“I could do but she just recently found out about her.”

“P-princess Silverfeather isn’t the mother?!? So um how did she take the news.”

“The cub isn’t mine either, she just has my DNA, it’s complicated okay. I found her and she wasn’t in a good state so I did something similar to what I did to you and the others.”

“Oh that’s so kind but why is she here and not with us?”

“Because she is technically my daughter…. Anyway Silver should be joining us for dinner. So if she asks any questions, please answer them but don’t tell her about how you were acting.”

“Oh of course my lord…. And here’s your daughter.” She pasted the sleeping cub to him and Anubis nuzzled the little thing affectionately. “Heheheh Princess Silverfeather is a lucky hen, my king.”

“Oh she knows…. So are you going to wake up or am I gonna have to eat up all of this tasty food on my own?” The cub’s ears twitched and Anubis grin. “Well I guess it’s all mine then.”

“Noooooooooooo!!!!!! I’m awake I’m awake daddy!”

“So now you’re up, mhmmmmmmmm suspicious.” He lifted her up and flipped her upside down, only to give her a questioning look.

“Hahahahahahah! Stop it silly daddy.”

“Very well, I’ll share.” Anubis put her down on a chair and placed her breakfast in front of her, she quickly grabbed the knife and fork and dug in. Soft giggle at the tiny cub before digging into her own.

After breakfast Anubis went down into the laboratory whilst Soft took the cub for a bath, upon entering the containment habitat. Silver had herself under control now, she was feeling silly about how she had acted but that didn’t matter right now because the breakfast her mate made was incredible.

She didn’t even notice him enter, he was looming over her as she ate.

“Happy?”

“Cough!* Cough!* Cough!* Anubis! What in the Tartarus? You can’t do that!”

“Sorry…. But you seem to be doing good this morning, not going on about being bred.” The hen began to blush profusely and Anubis took a seat next to her.

“Why did you have to remind me…. But now that I think about it, why aren’t I in heat now?”

“I made a drug that suppresses the symptoms of estrus, you’re welcome.”

“Huff* i didn’t say thanks….”

“So what up with you?”

“What up with me? Oh I don’t know other than there’s another hen’s scent here, so Anubis. Who is she?” Despite being upset, Silver still filled her beak with food.

“Ooooh…. You mean Soft Claws, well she was the one who helped me make the estrus suppressant…. Don’t tell me you thought I was cheating?”

“What else am I meant to think? It’s heat week and you’re here with a hen in heat! Not to mention I found you quite easily, you know a giant house in the middle of the woods stands out….”

“Well I thought it was well hidden but I guess not, anyway Silver my sweet nimrod I can assure you nothing happened…. You can even ask her yourself.”

“….she’s still here?” The look she gave Anubis told him that he shouldn’t have said that.

“Ummmmm well yeah…. But only because I’m observing her condition, the drug isn’t 100% tested….”

“WHAT!!!!!”

“Oh whoops.”

“Anubis what if I die?”

“Silver, you’re not going to die okay. You reacted better than Soft did, she looked herself in her room for a day.” ‘If that was just out of embarrassment or a side effect of the drug, I still don’t know.’

She wrapped her talons around him and buried her beak into his chest. “S-so I’m going to be okay?”

“I promise you that you’ll be fine, I won’t let anything happen to you my dear.”

“T-thank you, you idiot….”

“Ouch my feelings.”

“Well I’m not wrong, you gave me something that you wasn’t 100% sure about.”

“Well it worked, did it not.”

“Shut up and carry me.”

“What? Like this?” He bit the scruff of her neck and took the empty plate in his magic.

“Ahhh! Anubis…. Okay but put me down once we’re upstairs.”

“Very well.”

“And thank you for the breakfast, you’re a surprisingly good cook….”

“I love my food too.”

“Argh Anubis!”

“Hahahahahahahahah!”

They made it up stairs and he put her down after closing the hidden door, Silver looked at where the door once was and shook her head. “What is it with you and hidden doors and passageways?”

“Don’t know but I think they’re cool.”

“Sigh* so um where’s that adorable cub and what are we going to tell Celestia, I mean you’re not exactly old enough to raise her even if you are extremely mature for your age.”

“I’ve done some thinking and came to the conclusion that the cub will stay here and we will not tell Celestia.”

“We can’t keep secrets from her.”

“….look, what choice do I have? If I tell her about the cub she’ll take her and if she finds out about everything else then…. I don’t know what she’ll do, it’s something that scares me Silver.” She was surprised to see this side of him but upon thinking it over, she came to the same conclusion and pulled him into a kiss.

“D-Do you love me more than Celestia?”

“What? Silver of course not…. It’s just that if she knew the real me, she’d…. She’d hate me….”

“No she wouldn’t, she might think you need help but she wouldn’t hate you. You’re irreplaceable.”

“Sigh* I’ll think about it, I mean I really don’t want to be keeping secrets from her but I’m already in too deep now…. And I don’t need help either.” He began to walk off, Silver reached out for him.

“Anubis….”

She tried to follow him but she bumped into somegriffon else, once she got up she saw a long-eared hen and the tiny cub behind her.

“Oh my goodness, princess Silverfeather I’m terribly sorry. Are you okay?”

“Oh me? Yeah I’m fine…. So who are you?”

“Ah um well I’m Soft Claws….”

“So what did you and my Anubis get up to?”

“Oh well he needed me to test a drug that would help control my estrus.”

“And….”

“And what?”

Silver breathed a sigh of relief at her response before smiling and focusing on the cub. “Hello little one, come and give me a hug.”

“MUMMY!!!!” Soft was a little confused and jealous but she understood that the cub would obviously think Silver was her mother…. Wait? Why was she jealous? The cub was cute but what brought about this feeling. “Mummy this is Soft, she’s the best at hide and seek!”

“Oh really, well as much as I want to join you I can’t. So where did daddy go?”

“Ummmmmm I think that way?”

“Heheheh, king Anubis went down that hall and through the last door on the right.”

“Thank you Soft and…. Oh I don’t have your name little one, so what is it?”

She looked at her with a big smile and said. “I don’t have one.” Silver’s mind came to a halt and she gave a low grumble before walking down the hall. “Bye mummy!”

“Bye Princess Silverfeather.”

“See you two later…. Mummy’s going to have some words with daddy….”

The door to the room that was decorated with blueprints slammed open and its occupant jumped out of shock. Spinning around, Anubis found an extremely pissed Silverfeather stomping towards him.

“So…. What’s up with you?” He was backing away nervously. “Okay maybe I was wrong to just disappear like that but you need to chill out.”

“This isn’t about that and no, I’m pissed at you for not giving that adorable, sweet little cub a name!!”

“Sigh* please calm down…. Or this could be a side effect of the drug? It’s a possibility, I mean you’re not usually this angry.” She cut him off by grabbing his cheeks, forcing him to look at her but he instinctively pulled away. Silver’s talons cutting him, the hen didn’t notice and she continued.

“Anubis how could you bring her back to life and not name her?!” She yelled.

He grabbed her beak and glared into her eyes “Silver, you need to calm down now.”

“Eep” she stiffened up and finally noticed the blood trickling down his cheeks but for some reason she felt aroused by being grabbed. “Oh no….” Her eyes turned to pinpricks and she began to tear up. “I-I’m so so so sorry, I d-don’t know what’s gotten into me. I’m just really easily upset for some reason Anubis.”

He pulled her in for a hug and she melted into it. “Shush it’s fine, this was just because of the drug my dear. I know you would never hurt me out of anger, so just calm down and take deep breaths.”

“Sniffle* b-but I hurt you, I’m a bad hen-friend…. W-What’s Celestia going to say?!?”

“Relax it’s not that serious but don’t let it happen again, I may be able to heal but I can still feel pain.” He flicked her forehead and her regret filled eyes locked with his own.

“B-but you don’t understand, because I drew blood it doesn’t matter if it was an accident! She’s gonna think I’m a threat to you and that I abuse you.”

He raised one eyebrow and giggled. “You, a threat to me, yeah maybe in the bedroom. Look, she doesn’t need to know and if she does find out…. Well she can’t really talk, she did blast me out of a window and put me in a hospital bed.”

“….”

“Come on, it was a joke.”

“You nearly died.” Silver deadpanned.

“Okay okay but we don’t have to tell her and look, I’m all healed up, anyway I need you to look after the cub for me, I’m going to take Soft back to the others. Oh and we’re gonna be leaving for Canterlot at 8pm, just a heads up.”

“Okay but I’m going to name her and I’ll make lunch, I need to make it up to you….”

“Sure just don’t burn the house down your highness.”

“Hey i know how to cook…. Um I do have one question?”

Anubis raised an eyebrow and smirked at her. “And what may that be?”

“Uh so the estrus drug thingy you made, does it mean I can’t get pregnant?”

“No you can, why do you ask?”

“Huff* that sucks…. But I could say I’m sorry in other ways.” She licked her beak.

“Ooh well I guess I should hurry up and drop Soft off, I’ll be seeing you later my abusive nimrod.”

“Please don’t call me that and see you soon Nubie.”

On his way out Anubis bumped into the little cub and Soft. “Oh hello there you little rascal, hey Soft. Pssss your mummy’s in there so climb into my claws.”

She gladly jumped up and he opened the door and slid her across the polished floor. “Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!”

“Ahhh Anubis!”

“Be good for your mother now!” Closing the door and turning to Soft he grinned. “So you ready to go?”

“Oh um please could I say goodbye to the young princess, my King?”

“Ah of course.” Igniting his claws, she floated out and into Anubis’s forelegs. “Now say goodbye to Soft Claws.”

“Bye Soft Claws!” His ears folded back from the volume and Soft giggled.

“Bye bye little one.” Then Anubis slid her across the floor again.

“Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!”

“Okay now are you ready.”

“Yes my lord…. so you seem to be in a better mood, I take it that princess Silverfeather has plans for you later?”

“Cough!* oh wow, so you heard?”

“I didn’t intend to but yes my king.”

“I knew I should have made the walls thicker…. Anyway yeah she does and she’s going to give my daughter a name.”

“Your daughter? Well I’m pleased to see that you’ve completely accepted her as your own my king.”

“Yeah yeah, no need to be smug about it. Anyway let’s go.” He opened the front door and closed it behind them.

Taking to the sky, they looked back to find the structure had completely vanished. Soft was confused but Anubis was pleased with his work, then they flew back to the campsite where the other long-eared griffons were.

Two hours later he landed at the front door of his mansion sized research outpost and walked in to find one hyperactive cub and one exhausted Silver. “Has she been good?”

“Yeah just has an endless supply of energy, I need a nap. I honestly don’t know how my mum managed a nation and motherhood at the same time?”

“Yeah go take that nap, I’ll deal with this little monster. Oh and before I forget, what did you name her?”

“Well how about you ask her?”

“Heheh, so what’s your name you little abomination against god?”

“Heheheheheh, stop saying silly words daddy.”

“You’re lucky she doesn’t know what that means, anyway I’ll be in the living room sleeping. Wake me up in an hour so I can make lunch.”

“I might, so what’s your name, I just has to know!”

“Heheheheheh, that’s not how you use ‘has’.”

“Pffffff of course it is…. Isn’t it?”

“Noooo! And my name is a secret that only me and mummy know.”

“Gasp* really? But you’re going to tell me right?”

“Maybe if you play a game.”

“Mhmmmmm and what game are we playing?”

“TAG! Your it!” And she ran off giggling.

“Sigh* I just wanted to know what Silver had named her…. Well i guess I’m it, so might as well play.” Anubis began down the hall at a slowed jog.

His keen sense of hearing could pick up on little giggles every time he passed a specific book case but he pretended to not know where they were coming from. He found it amusing that she found it funny to hide, run away and get caught when he himself spent his youth in a bunker hiding, running and praying to not be caught. It was funny how a change of severity made it fun a posed to terrifying.

Then he noticed a tail sticking out from behind the book case and he grabbed it, a loud scream came from the little cub and then she erupted into giggles once Anubis pulled her out and began to tickle her. “Give me your name or I’ll tickle it out of you!!”

“N-hahahahahahah-ever hahahahahah no I-it’s mine!”

“Ahhhhhh! I said give it to me.”

“Please no! I give up! I give up!”

“So….”

“Gasp* Heheh, it’s…. Never!!” And she ran off again, all he could do is laugh and shake his head at her antics.

“Considering that she had no soul she has a lot of character. sigh….* I really need that last artefact.”

After finding her again Anubis looked her dead in the eyes and told her to tell him her name, the game’s were fun for a bit but he wanted to know what Silver had picked out in such a short time.

“Okay daddy, mummy named me Eclipse!”

“Eclipse…. Well that’s a lovely name for a lovely little cub.” Anubis would have to ask Silver what significance it has to her but all in all he liked it.

“I know I’m lovely!”

He grinned and an odd sense of pride welled up in his chest. “So how about we make lunch?”

“Yay!! But wasn’t mummy meant to make lunch?”

“Yeah but I don’t trust her, I’ve never seen her cook before and I’d rather not die from food poisoning thank you.”

“Heheheheheh, why did you say thank you?”

“Sigh* doesn’t matter, so let’s make lunch.”

“Okay!”

Silverfeather was brought back to the waking world feeling rejuvenated and relaxed but upon seeing the clock she panicked. She had overslept and didn’t make lunch but she calmed down once the delicious aroma of fish filled her beak.

Following her sense of smell, she stumbled into the dining room and found three plates of food but even though it smelled good, the appearance was alien to her. The fish was covered in a golden brown crust of sorts and next to it was something that looked like chunky hay-fries, she didn’t like hay-fries but Eclipse seemed to love them.

After lunch they all leaned back and let out a sigh of satisfaction, Silver had no idea what those chunky fries were but they went perfectly with what Anubis call battered fish. Even though she didn’t find any bruises on it, she thought the name needed work.

Little Eclipse jumped down from her chair and walked over to the larger griff, he gave her a pat on the head and said. “Fall unconscious.” She went limp and Silver freaked out.

“Ahhh! Oh no is she okay?!?”

He picked her up and smiled. “She’s fine…. Remember what I told you back when I blew Silver Blood’s brains out and brought her back but minus the bitch?”

“Yeah…. So you’re telling me that you could have commanded her to listen to me opposed to me having to bribe her to listen? Grrrrrrrrrr* Anubis.”

“Would you really have like that? Not to mention that you handle her pretty well in my books but maybe ask your mother for a few pointers when you get the chance.”

“Fuck you….”

“Awwww you’re too sweet, so I’ll be collecting that reward once I put Eclipse in storage.” Her cheeks burned red and wings shot up, Anubis knew that the estrus suppressant helped with Silver’s self control but didn’t mean that she was any less horny.

8 hours later a very pleased Anubis and silver closed and locked the front door of the mansion, grinning at each other.

“It’s a shame you weren’t able to finish your dinner Silver.”

“Sorry but I already had a full stomach.” A hint of pride in her voice.

“Yeah, I’m just surprised you managed to fit it all in.”

“Why? Most griffons don’t really have a gag reflex.”

“Hehehe well I can’t wait to see Celestia’s face when she sees.”

“That’s just wrong…. Although she has a long tongue.”

“And she’s good with it too.”

“Oh shut hiccup* up.”

“Hahahahahahahah!!! Oh don’t give me that look, it’s pretty funny.” She smiled and took off, Anubis followed, they began on their journey back to Canterlot.

Half way there, silver had perched herself on top of Anubis. So now not only was he carrying his saddlebags full of research but a full grown Silverfeather on his back.

He could see the caravans and stallions all walking back into the city. But when Anubis landed in the castle courtyard, he was met with a nervous and guilty looking Alicorn.

“Sniff* Sniff* Oh no…. Anubis I’m sorry for allowing her to escape…. I take it that you two did it.”

“….um well not exactly but she’s got a good throat on her, Anubis approved.”

“So…. You didn’t breed her?”

“Nope.”

“But she’s not in heat anymore?”

“Yeah, because her heat ended….” ‘Please stop asking questions Celestia!’

“Look, if she conceives then I’d be more than happy to help you two. After all that’s what a herd is for Anubis…. So where did you run off to, I’ve been informed that you disappeared on the first day.”

‘Ahhhhhh! Go back to the other questions please!!!’ “Um well I went to the Whitetail woods, i just wanted to see what I was capable of is all Swan neck.”

“Anubis I’m not mad but please don’t hide anything from me, I can tell that you’re not telling the full truth. I’ll be waiting for when you’re ready to come and tell me in my room…. And we’re going to need to figure out a way to break the news about you and Silver to her parents.”

“But they already know about us…. Sort of?”

“I meant the fact that she spent a night and most of a day with you in heat week.”

“Fuck….”

“Oh don’t worry and come here and give me a kiss.” She brought his tongue into her muzzle and Anubis almost lost himself to her taste, he noticed that both of their scents and salivas tasted better but Celestia’s was completely intoxicating.

He didn’t even notice that his second tail was fully erected for all to see, Celestia blushed and fluffed her wings whilst the guards-mares around them just dropped everything to stare.

“Oh my Anubis, it’s near to the end off my estrus and it looks like you’re having trouble controlling yourself.”

He just ignored her and walked around the playful Alicorn. Seeing his target, he grabbed her cutie marks and gave her mare-hood a kiss. Celestia raised one hind leg and gave a pleasured whinny before her mind reeled back and she teleported away.

Re-appearing 2 meters away from Anubis, she was pleased but shocked at the same time. He did that in front of all the other mares, does he have no shame? Then it clicked, it was her scent that had clouded his normally well controlled mind.

“S-sorry Anubis but you’re going to have to wait another two days before we can lay together.”

“….”

He was just staring at her with a predatory gaze, it sent a shiver down her spine and her tail flicked in response. She felt bad but it was for the best. Silverfeather finally woke up from all the commotion and she rubbed her eyes before jumping off his back.

Looking to him she found herself blushing but he was suddenly in cased by a golden barrier which he immediately sank his claws into it and bolts of energy began to shoot out of them. Every pony and griffon backed up and Glacier grabbed Silver by the talon.

Celestia knew how this was going to end and that was with a magically exhausted Anubis out cold on the floor.

Silver watched in silent confusion at what was unfolding before her but whilst she was distracted Glacier took a peek under her tail. She breathed a sigh of relief upon realising that they didn’t mate with each other during heat week.

Then Celestia’s spell broke and Anubis slumped over onto his back, she quickly grabbed a tablecloth and tossed it over his sleeping form.

Stomp!*

“Why are all of you standing around staring at him!?! What happened here will go unspoken, do all of you hear me?”

They all bowed and yelled in sink. “Understood princess!”

Celestia then picked Anubis up in her magic and walked off, Silver and Glacier followed.

Once they reached her study, she placed Anubis down on a pillow and made herself comfortable on the couch. Silver and Glacier were looking a little lost but then Glacier spoke. “P-princess Celestia, I um can confirm that Anubis didn’t breed her highness.”

They both look to the hen in confusion and Celestia gestured for her to continue. “S-Sorry Silverfeather, I took a look under your tail and well…. There are no signs of her doing it as of recently….”

“You did what and of course me and Anubis didn’t do it!!”

“So…. I’m not going to have to break the news to your parents then…. Sigh* but why aren’t you in heat?”

“Well…. by the time I found him, my mind was clearer…. And it ended a bit earlier than expected.”

“That’s good…. I’m just in shock from the fact that he tried to eat me out in front of my Guards-mares…. Argh that was humiliating.”

Both Celestia and Silver looked at Glacier and then to each other, Silver started. “Glacier? You didn’t seem to be affected by estrus, why is that?”

Glacier stiffened up and broke eye contact with Silverfeather. “Um…. I can’t go into heat, I’m infertile….”

“Oh I’m really sorry to hear that Glacier.”

“Sorry for asking that, I didn’t mean to bring it up.”

“Oh it’s not a problem you two…. I’m just happy to have friends, the other hens in the guard are only colleagues and not nice ones at that.”

“YAWN!!*”

All three of them spun around to see Anubis doing his wake up stretches, Celestia and Silver were backing up whilst Glacier just sat there blushing.

Anubis sat down in front of them with a confused look on his face, completely unaware of his swinging member. “So why do you all look like deer caught in the headlights?”

Celestia started. “I don’t know what headlights are but it’s because of how you acted 10 minutes ago…. And you’re unsheathed my love.”

“Oh…. Aahhhhhhhha ha ha, so stop staring!” He covered himself with his wings and Glacier looked away, Silver just walked up to him and placed a claw on his shoulder.

“So you got everything under control now big boy?”

“Um yeah but why are you ladies treating me like some sort of wild dog?”

Celestia and Silver gave a nervous laugh, he found it to be weird but just brushed it off.

“Nubie, do you remember what happened ten minutes ago?”
