The psychotic gentlegriff

I woke up and was immediately aware of the lack of my dad, climbing up to my claws and looking around.

I found nothing but an empty room, initially I began to panic and felt my eyes water but then I remembered that if anything was wrong. I would have been woken up, so he must be with my mom and princess home wrecker…. I mean step mom? I think.

I should probably go to the room with the sun cutie mark on it and find my dad.

Making my way to the large doors, I tried my hardest to push them open but I was too weak, so I got creative and began crying.

Almost immediately a guard stallion opened up the door to find me rubbing my eyes.

“W-where’s my daddy?”

“Oh um I believe he is in her highness’s bed chamber.”

“Why?”

“Eh…. Because she has the most comfortable bed in the land, I could take you to him.”

“O-okay.”

We made our way to princess Celestia’s room in search for my dad, I already had an idea of what he had gotten up to but I was still upset about waking up alone.

I’m his only daughter after all and that is just irresponsible let alone rude.

“Huff*”

“Sorry am I moving too fast for you?”

“No! Nope I’m just upset.”

“At who, if I may ask?”

“My mommys, daddy is meant to cuddle with me but they stole him!”

“Are you sure that’s what happened?”

“Definitely! They must have took him in the night, daddy would never leave me alone!”

“Heheheheh, that is quite horrible.”

“I know right! Princess Celestia is definitely using mind control magic.”

“I wouldn’t go that far princess.”

“She’s evil. To think I thought she was the kindest and most caring pony ever, huff* it’s just to hide her true intentions for my daddy.”

“I’m sure her highness isn’t evil but what do you mean true intentions?”

“She’s clearly trying to keep him for herself! And mom doesn’t mind! It must be mind magic, it has to be!”

“Oh…. So they ain’t just rumours.”

“Okay we’re here, I’m sure your daddy will be out anytime now.”

“Huff* thank you….”

We sat there for what felt like forever so I approached the guards out side the door, one was a unicorn that look like a guard from the show and the other was Glacier.

“Can I see my daddy please?”

“Sorry little one but no, I can’t let you in there.”

“B-but my daddy’s in there and I want him.”

“Awwww I know but please wait, they’ll be out in a minute I’m sure.”

“What’s his name?”

“Oh this stone walled fellow is Iron Cross.”

“Mhmmmmm squawk!!!!!!*”

For some reason Glacier’s face sank and both pony guards looked confused, she then took a step away from the door.

In Celestia’s private bed chamber.

Silverfeather was in the shower helping the bat like pony clean up, even though she was struggling to walk. It wasn’t going to stop her.

she had gotten the maid’s name, it was Cloudy Nights.

She was nice and Silver was going to assign her to become their personal maid for obvious reasons but once they were cleaned and dried up, they walked into the main room.

Cloudy and Silver giggled at the larger occupants spooning on the floor, Celestia looked as if she had been put through the wringer.

“Sniff* sniff* she definitely had a good time, she had been pent up for days now. I thought at one point she was going to go after him whilst he was in college.”

“It was that bad?”

“Yep.”

“Wow…. The stud that could conquer the sun.”

“Yeah…. Its probably a good thing he doesn’t have a bigger sex drive….”

“Awwwww he’s waking up, look at those fangs.”

“Heheheheheheh~ yep, when he bites you, you know it’s gonna be one Tartarus of a ride.”

Her face became a mixture of fear and excitement which made Silver giggle.

“Yep, anyway. Morning my sexy Nubie, you still stuck?”

“Yawn* of course…. She’s out cold and stuffed like a chicken, so I’m gonna put her on the bed and get comfy.”

“SQUAWK!!!!*”

The loud noise came from behind the door, Anubis and Cloudy were surprised, Celestia was woken up but Silverfeather looked down right disgusted.

“There’s no way she just did that.”

They winced from the venom in Silver’s voice although Celestia was wincing for different reasons.

“What’s up honey?”

“What’s wrong?! She just squawked! Ohhh she’s in so much trouble, that little…. Agh challenging me!”

“Wha?! Relax for a second and explain to me, because if I don’t know then how is she?”

“That doesn’t matter, she’s about to learn.”

“Nimrod.” She cut him off and went to the door.

“No! She needs to learn and as her mum, it’s up to me to set an example.”

SLAM!!!!*

Eclipse went from being confused to utterly terrified by her furious mother looming over her.

“Did you just squawk at me young lady!!”

“Umm…. No?”

“No? Don’t you dare lie to me Eclipse feather Grimgost!”

“S-sorry mommy! I-I just wanted to see daddy! Sniffle* b-but he was gone when I woke up.”

“Well now you’re grounded for that, do not squawk ever again. Do I make myself clear?”

“Y-yes sob* mommy, I’m sniffle* sorry sob* I'll never do it again!”

Silver’s features softened as she picked up the weeping cub and began back towards Anubis’s room.

“Come on, let’s clean you up.”

“Mmmhhh….”

“One day I’ll explain why you can’t just squawk when you want something.”

“Sorry….”

“Good.”

Meanwhile Anubis was perked up with a look of surprise on his beak.

“Wow…. She’s good…. Fuck me, I’m glad she’s like a kitten when i upset her.”

“But just over a squawk? Seems harsh.”

“I don’t know? It work well enough, I don’t think she’s gonna be doing that again.”

“Fair point…. So can you lay down now, this is starting to hurt sweetie.”

“Oh shit. Hey Glacier why’s squawking so bad?!”

“B-because your daughter basically just challenged her mum to the right to have all your attention in a way…. Although I’m sure she didn’t mean it like that!”

“Oh so it’s a territorial thing…. Um can you close the door please?!”

“Y-yes sir!”

“I told you to stop!”

Slam!!*

“Calling me sir….”

“Wow…. We have something similar back where I come from.”

“Speaking of which, I’m quite happy to see a bat-pony back in Equestria. It’s been a long time since i last saw one.”

“A bat-pony? Good to know I fucked one silly.”

“Anubis?!”

“Sir!?”

“What? You invited her!”

“Yeah but…. Huff* it was only to spice things up.”

Eclipse’s POV

My mom was carrying me to daddy’s room with a displeased look on her beak but just as we were about to enter, she walked past it.

“Mommy? You went past daddy’s room.”

“I know dear, I’m getting you some breakfast. This is my chance to actually mother you since you’re dad is quite tired.”

“Oh…. I want fruit and pancakes please!”

“Heheheh~ you eat what you’re given.”

“But~ mom~.”

“Need I remind you that you’re still grounded.”

“But I can’t even fly!”

“No silly, you’re going to stay in your room for the day.”

“Huff* that’s not fair….”

“Life’s not fair, I got with your father. So how do you think all the other mares and hens feel about that?”

“Oh but daddy’s lucky to have you.”

“Yep he is.”

“Mommy?”

“Yes sweetheart.”

“Why was daddy laying on princess Celestia? And what was that smell?”

“Eep?!”

She came to a complete stop and froze with a nervous smile on her beak, I knew I had caught her off guard with that one.

“Look sweetie, your dad was just spending some quality time with us is all….”

“Am I going to have a little brother or sister soon?”

“Ehh…. this is your dad’s fault, stupid griff.”

“Mhmm?”

“Nothing sweetheart, let’s make pancakes for everycreature.”

“Gasp* I’m going to make the besttis pancakes for daddy!!!!”

“Heheheheh~ yep we are.”

My mom carried me to the castle kitchens and started getting everything ready whilst I sat on the counter top, she gave me a bowl and whisk.

“Are you ready Eclipse?”

“Yes mom!”

“Good because if you do a good enough job here, you might be able to earn your freedom back.”

“R-really?”

“Yes but only if Anubis deems it so.”

“Yay!!! Wait isn’t that the god of the dead’s name?”

“What?”

“Anubis, the god of the dead.”

“Sweetheart what do you mean?”

“Is daddy the god of the dead mom?”

“No…. I hope not at least…. Anyway let’s make pancake batter.”

Meanwhile Celestia and Anubis were making their way to the dining hall, everypony had gotten used to the lovers bumping and pushing each other on the way to breakfast but none of them were prepared for what they saw on this morning.

As Anubis walked down the halls, everycreature paused upon seeing the regal solar princess being carried on his back.

The icing on the cake was that she looked proud as she buried her muzzle into his feathery mane, it had grown out wildly only adding to Anubis’s already feral appearance.

“Mmmmm~ they’re looking at you again…. Who do they think they are, gazing upon my griff with lust filled eyes.”

“Oh relax, I see some of the stallions staring at you.”

“Huff* like they could compete, although silver gets some looks too you know.”

“Yeah I know but even if you were to give them a chance, I’ve made you two…. Or three unusable for the average stallion or griff.”

Celestia’s cheeks went a dark shade of crimson and she dropped her head atop of her mate’s.

“Yeah maybe if you didn’t have the ability to heal our bodies, you say I’m fully recovered but it still hurts to walk.”

“I did say you wouldn’t be when I was done.”

“And you were right…. Stop being right, it’s annoying.”

“No I love myself to much for that…. Oh I need to ask you something, regarding the population imbalance.”

“Yes…. go on?”

“Heheheh don’t sound so nervous but in all honesty I could fix it in a way, you did mention something about a studding license a while back.”

“Eep, wha?! No Anubis? You can’t…. Fuck, please don’t….”

“Don’t worry I was aiming more towards a little bit of genetic engineering to myself at first and then making it into a drug that increased the likelihood of a male foal being born.”

“So you’re not going to sire any foals?”

“If possible but I will obviously make sure that I not only take another form but change my sperm cells to be one hundred percent pony.”

“I don’t know…. Sigh* but the gender imbalance is getting concerning to say the least…. And less and less stallions are registering for the program….”

“Don’t make a decision now, talk about it to Silver and see if it’s something that you’d be okay with…. Or allow me to conduct experiments on live subjects to.”

She cut him off before he could finish his sentence. “No! Definitely not happening….”

“Like I said, think it over but as for right now…. Sniff* sniff* somethings burning?”

“Sniff* sniff* sniff* I just smell a big, strong and delicious.”

“Settle down, let’s go check it out.”

“Onward to the kitchens.”

Anubis made his way down the hall with his mare draped over his back, he had his wings raised in an attempt to keep Celestia’s own wings from dragging.

Upon reaching the source of the smell he found Silver and Eclipse looking sorry for themselves as the castle chefs cleaned up their mess.

“So?”

“Eep! Anubis you scared me.”

“Sorry but I smelled burning.”

“Daddy!!!!”

The tiny cub leaped at her father and was caught in Celestia’s golden aura, she was coated in what appeared to be batter of something.

“Awwwww look at you, your filthy you little menace.”

“Sorry dear, we were making pancakes but it got a little out of talon….”

“It’s fine but just clean her before breakfast Nimrod.”

“Yep, I need another wash anyway.”

“Bye you two, see you at breakfast. Now forward charge Anubis!”

“Never. You still smell swan neck, go with them.”

“Excuse me?”

“Did I stutter?”

“I smell? Have you got a whiff of your wing pits?”

“Sniff* Gasp* daddy stinks!” Eclipse flopped onto the floor and played dead.

“Hey! It’s not that bad.”

“Let’s all just take a bath, a show clearly wasn’t enough to get the smell out….”

“What smell?”

“Oh so you were faking it?”

The tiny cub smiled sheepishly at her father who was smirking down at her.

“Okay then, to the bath house Anubis!”

“No!”

“No?”

“No!”

“And why Eclipse?”

“She can walk on her own, I want to be carried…. Please.”

“Um look I’m carrying her because she’s too tired to walk….”

“Cough* too sore.”

“Silver.”

“Why is she too sore?”

“Never your mind why she’s sore, let’s go and get a bath.”

“O-okay…. Am I still grounded?”

“I don’t know, ask your mother.”

“Mom? Am I?”

“Sigh* it’s up to Celestia.”

“If it’s up to me, then she’s free to go.”

“Yay!!!!!! Thank you mommy number two.”

“Okay let’s go now, I have college and I’d rather not be late or hungry.”

“Okay okay.”

Silver picked up Eclipse and the four of them went to the royal bath house, Anubis and Celestia were the first in the warm hot spring water.

Eclipse held onto her mother as they followed the two ahead of them.

Later that morning Anubis was gliding to Canterlot College but with an additional passenger on board, Eclipse was holding on to her father’s neck as he effortlessly floated down to the campus gate.

Upon landing he broke into a brisk jog before killing off his speed and entering the building, where he was met by the grounds security.

“Excuse me mister?”

“Anubis Grimgost.”

“Well Anubis but you can’t bring your younger siblings on campus grounds.”

“She’s my daughter and I believe I can, unfortunately I can’t leave her unattended now.”

“You’re…. Daughter…. Um aren’t you a little young to be a parent.”

“Yes I am but that’s not the point.”

“Um well okay Anubis, you still can’t really bring her here.”

“Why not, her mother is busy.”

“B-but it’s not appropriate to bring your foal- I mean cub to college….”

“Look I didn’t want to have to do this but you’re not cooperating with me here, I prince Anubis Grimgost of the second Griffon empire is demanding that I be allowed to bring my daughter on campus grounds.”

The security pony was speechless and began to sweat whilst Eclipse looked at her dad in surprise, Anubis then raised his wings and walked past the stunned stallion.

“Ha, thank you Silver. Guess having a title does make life easier, isn’t that right Eclipse?”

“You’re a prince?”

“I’m engaged to your mother and she’s the princess of the griffon empire.”

“Why did you say second griffon empire?”

“Because that’s what is called, the first one didn’t last.”

“Oh…. So why do you go school daddy?”

“To get smart and a degree.”

“But mommy and Celestia say you’re already too smart for your own good?”

“They do? Well they’re wrong, you can never be too smart my little munchkin.”

“Heheheheh~ I’m no munch-kim, I’m Eclipse!”

“Nope, I’ve decided that I don’t like that name. You are now Munchkin.”

She said nothing but instead she began to attack his wings that were still raised up in a gull wing fashion.

“Ouch, that’s not nice.”

“Mommy said to do it if your wings are up.”

“Silver or Celestia?”

“Mommy mommy, so what do I call Celestia?”

“Mum…. No maybe just…. Nope, I’ve got nothing so just call her step mum.”

“Okay…. But what was mommy busy with that I had to go with you? And why couldn’t cel-step mommy look after me?”

“Some R and R dear, they didn’t get much sleep last night.”

“Oh so am I going to have two new brothers or sisters?”

“Cough* wha?! Um maybe in the distance future…. But you don’t need to worry about that sweetie.”

“Anubis! Good morning down there, lose something or just tired?” Razor’s tone teasing.

Anubis could see the rest of the group trotting over to check on him and more importantly little Eclipse.

“Oh my are you okay you little cutie.”

“Yep I’m okay.”

Whilst Anubis picked himself up and scooped Eclipse up in his claws.

“Are you okay daddy?”

“Oh I’m fine, come on let’s get going.”

“Okay!”

“So how did you get her in here.”

“Just flexed my new title, they can’t really do anything about it.”

“New title?”

“Yeah Razor I’m engaged to a princess, so by that logic I’m a prince…. I think.”

“Oh I didn’t know you could marry into royalty, do you think her highness is on the market?”

“Ha no….”

They all turned back to him with a collective look of shock.

“And how do you know?” Asked a confused Spring Touch.

“Um ahhhh well….”

“Daddy and st-mmmmhm!” Anubis used his magic to close her beak before she finished that.

“That’s enough out of you, problem child.”

He avoided one problem but now had another, eclipse was freaking out that her dad used magic. So was a few of his friends that didn’t know he could use it.

“Daddy! Can use magic!?!?!”

“Yep it’s something our breed of griffon is capable of, active magic.”

“So I will be able to use magic?!”

“Yes you will.”

“Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!” She was vibrating with excitement.

“So you’re like a griffon equivalent of a unicorn?”

“Well when you put it like that, yeah basically.”

“That’s fucking cool dude.”

“Is that why you’re studying magical engineering?”

“Yep.”

“That’s so cool.”

“I still think it’s crazy that you’re a dad Anubis.”

“It is but so is life.”

Eclipse looked at Spring Torch and then buried her beak in her father’s mane , messing it up more.

Spring look shocked by the rejection but took it in stride and said.

“Very well then, that’s fine.”

Eclipse spent the day scribbling on scrap paper or playing with her father’s tail and when they weren’t in the study halls, she was sliding across the gymnasium floor.

It had just been polished and Anubis was throwing her across the slippery surface all whilst his group of friends watched in amazement and surprise.

“Wow she has no concept of fear.”

“Nah that’s not it Galeyus dear, she just trusts her dad completely.”

“Really Rose Mist? How can you tell?”

“I can’t, it’s just a hunch.”

“Why do you always mislead me?”

“Because you’re adorable when you’re confused my Gal.”

“So when are you two going to start a family?”

“Shut up Razor, they are too young to be thinking about that.”

“Oh come on Flame, really?”

“Can you all shut up, I’m trying to enjoy watching this father daughter bonding.”

“Oh sorry.” His sarcastic tone earned him a whack across the head. “Ouch….”

They all laughed and began to watch the dad and daughter duo playing when Galeyus nipped Rose’s neck.

“Gasp!! So it’s a show of love, I knew it wasn’t some weird kink.”

The timid hippogriff jumped up and began trying to explain what had happened but nopony was having it.

“Dude relax, if it comes naturally to you then it comes naturally bro.”

His wings stiffened up as his face flushed a deep crimson.

“Wow she’s got you wrapped around her hoof dude.”

“She hasn’t…. Have you?”

“It depends if you want to be wrapped up.”

Everycreature looked at him as if he said something completely outrageous and he tried to hide himself behind his wings.

“I don’t know who’s helping you more with your confidence, Anubis or Rose.”

“It’s just an expression….”

“One that sounds odd coming from somegriffon like you Gal.”

“Oh um sorry, it just felt like the appropriate response.”

“Anyway what ever is hell?”

All of their attentions were drawn to Anubis as he called out an explanation.

“Hell is normally depicted as a place of endless torture, suffering and castles of brimstone in a pit of fire and darkness where the angels that betrayed god were sent and became demons.”

“D-Daddy I don’t like it, it sounds scary.”

“Don’t worry I’ll protect you.”

“And we’ll go to heaven?”

“…Yes….” Anubis was speechless, how did she know about heaven? He was suspicious but now it was all but confirmed that she was once human.

‘Zodiac, do you think she’s human?’

‘It’s a possibility but does it matter to you?’

‘No.’

‘Anyway I have a concern to raise with you?’

‘And that is.’

‘We are being hunted.’

‘By who?’

‘I can’t say right now but I believe it might be a Shambler, the worrying part is that it seems content to watch us.’

‘So there’s something more to it, you don’t think it has something to do with the increase of Dream spirits?’

‘Maybe but as for now I’ll keep watching it.’

‘So what’s behind its watchful gaze then considering that they aren’t the type to watch but kill?’

‘I have nothing other that it’s stalking us from the Dreamscape, we might have to pay old Leakon a visit or go even further south into the frozen pole.’

‘Sounds like a start, we’ll go tonight….’

‘Good.’

“Daddy?” Eclipse’s squeaky voice broke him out of his head.

“Yes my little menace?”

“Glacier’s here and she looks upset.”

“Wow she does, doesn’t she. Hey Glacier what brings you here?”

“Wha?! You! You idiot, I’m meant to be your personal guard assigned by your Fiance but somegriffon likes to leave without letting anycreature know!”

“Gasp* daddy’s in trouble.”

“I am most definitely not in trouble…. So are you just going to follow me around?”

“Sigh* yes sir.”

“Cool well after college we’re going to the market to look around if you see anything you like, let me know.”

“I don’t have a say in the matter sir.”

“I thought we were past this, it’s Anubis not sir.”

“Sorry Anubis….”

“Good now let’s eat something Eclipse.”

“Yay I need ticken.”

“Awwwwwwwww~” everycreature was captivated by her cuteness and watched as she hid underneath her father.

Celestia’s POV

I was going over the reports of the incidents regarding the unfortunately named Canterlot Carver.

They all had one thing in common and that was the evidence of crimes they had committed, it didn’t help much but it did narrow down the search to some degree.

The killer had to be an individual that was aware of the crimes of the noble class, this meant that it was Either a member of said class or a pony in the castle.

That ruled out the general public, for they were unfortunately blind to the truth of Canterlot’s high Society members.

We still had no leads, no witnesses or any evidence to even attempt to paint a picture of the serial killer.

“Argh this is frustrating…. There’s nothing, nothing that I could use to even get a suspect. Sigh* we don’t even know if it’s the same individual….”

The only thing is the crimes are put on display for the royal guard to find.

It’s already 4 o’clock and I could really use a break from this, I know he said to take the day off but I still got some paperwork done so I guess it’s enough.

“Where is he when I need him, my rear end is still sore and I want a wing massage~.”

“He’s still out princess, do you want me to go looking for him?”

“No…. You’re not even meant to be out of that grimoire.”

“I apologise but it’s boring in there.”

My ears perked up and I gave her my full attention.
